I purchased glasses from them. My order was never confirmed.
I had to call them and ask to send me confirmation or to tell me what happened. Only after a week, I got a tracking number from them. Too slow for sending information like this. But I got only small box from glasses, where are the glasses themselves? They weren't cheap.
According to their explainings, they don't give a crap about the parcel once it left their store. No, guys, you MUST take responsibility for your products and for shipping companies you work for. It's very convenient to hide in bushes and say you have nothing to do with this, but it's your responsibility.
Buyers, beware. Never buy from stores that don't stand behind their products
experience with customer service was bad
Customer Service is really bad, took two weeks of emailing them back and forth to get a return figured out. Main issue is that the people answering the emails and calls are not authorized to do anything and have to "put in a request" to fix anything. This took multiple people and days for each question. When I finally got a manager involved they issued a return for the wrong order. I reordered with EyeByDirect.com and have a much better experience without the games of "coupons" to get the price where it should be anyway.
fraudulent sales practices
Received glasses that did not match the prescription. They refused a refund based on a 14 day return window even though web site says returns 365 days and also 1 month return no questions asked. Basically you've got 2 weeks and that's it regardless of their errors.
This all happened in June 2017.
If you want to waste time and money then this is the place for you.
scam beware this company
Beware this company - It's going on week 3 waiting on my 1.25 reader glasses and they still haven't been shipped. I asked 5 days ago to cancel the order, only to be told I could not cancel. According to the description on the website, my glasses were to take 3 days. I can't get a timely response from customer service. Some responses taking 3 business days. And their BBB rating is an F with 196 complaints. I should have researched better before ordering. Order #[protected] placed on May 15, 2017
deceptive business practices, avoid!
I bought a pair of glasses, after 2 weeks they arrived and were poorly made and not functional, so I initiated a 100% no questions asked guarantee refund. They proceeded to call me with a bunch of promises to get it right, give them another chance, they'd even upgrade my lenses. (all a scam to refuse a refund) I agreed and waited another 2 weeks to receive the same glasses with the same problem. Initiated another return for refund, then was informed by accepting a store credit, upgrade I voided my refund. They failed to provide the product I ordered, they violated our contractual agreement. They informed me they can not make the glasses I ordered and I need to buy something else. This is illegal, they can not force to me to buy something else. They altered their Terms of Service and offered me another %110 credit even after they told me i'd only get a 50% credit. If they are altering their own Terms of Service to accommodate themselves, they can give me my money back. no wonder they have an F BBB rating. NY Attorney General will be notified

Over the course of last 6 months they have managed to send glasses which do not match my RX on file THREE times. After jumping through so many hoops, including faxing my original RX, I have told them "no more"
I will not waste my time buying new packaging and sending back.
I told them to refund my money and make the 2 pair (total value $40) correctly for free as good faith. At first one CSR says OK. 10 days later a different CSR Karen Gordon writes to tell me I need to prove the glasses are not as per my RX. Impossible. The proof is surely the card they add to each order of the RX numbers.
They know this.
Who do I get to test these glasses?
We are on fixed income from too many health costs so we'll have to use as is. I explained to GlassesUSA they were taking a chance. If we get a headache whilst driving and there is an accident, guess who lawyers come after.?
#####. I wrote HQ and company who lends them capital. Yet to see a response. I will write everything with proof, to a free website in the event any lawyers are looking for info.
I'm waiting for my refund for over a month!
Glasses were made incorrect so I sent them back. GlassesUSA support said that they can't replace them and offered me a refund and that seemed like a great deal so I agreed. He said that it can take up to 7 day to process a refund, but 7 days later there was no money. I gave them one extra week, but nothing changed.
As for now, 6 weeks already passed and still no refund. GlassesUSA support claimed that money was transferred and the rest was not their responsibility. I will not buy anything from this unprofessional company ever again, they should be investigated!
Do not order from GlassesUSA
I was very disappointed with the quality of my glasses. After two weeks frame broke! I contacted GlassesUSA and they offered me a replacement. They seemed nice and I thought that they really wanted to help. Following their instructions I sent the broken glasses back and was promised a replacement within a couple of weeks.
Two weeks later nothing arrived and company did not reply. That moment I felt that something went terribly wrong and went online to read some reviews. I was shocked to be honest. I sent another message and asked for a full refund and of course was ignored. Do not order from GlassesUSA, they are not to be trusted!
Glasses
I ordered glasses a month ago, the GlassesUSA software managed to remove the street address of both my shipping and billing addresses, but they still put them in the mail! Can you imagine? Of course, the post office cannot deliver without a street address so they were rejected. GlassesUSA says they still don't have them back -- but they do have my $187. Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered, reading from scripts. Each individual said the same thing, word-for-word. After a month, I finally got hold of a supervisor, who had the audacity to suggest that perhaps I did not provide them with a street address! What? They actually believe I would provide an Apt # for billing and a Suite # for shipping, but just forget to type in the street addresses? I don't think so. So, very long story short -- stay away unless you don't need your glasses in a timely manner and you don't need your money returned timely, either. As they've told me "it's policy."
Continuous spamming
This company has been harassing me with endless spam for two months. Although I unsubscribed numerous times, called them to tell them to stop, the stupid emails keep coming every day and sometimes it's more than once a day. When I talked to them, they told me I had to wait for the 10 day waiting period. I obviously did that and nothing happened. Recently they told me if I reply back to their response to me that that will start up the process again and that I should reply to any of their emails and wait 10 days without responding to them. Of course, I stopped replying, waited 10 days and they kept coming. A supervisor just the other day gave me this email address to send my complaint to. Again, this didn't work and the emails kept coming. Why don't they have control over their own systems and able to control their own systems. You would think they would be able to input my email address and have it out of their systems. I know they can do that, but they just don't care and rather just harass me with their endless emails.
Continuing email harassment
I have unsubscribed many times, but they keep sending me emails. I contacted them and told them to stop, but they keep sending me emails. They told me to wait 10 days and it's been way beyond that. They told me not to reply any more because that causes emails to keep coming. I stop replying and waited 10 days and the emails keep coming. They make it appear as if they are helpless to stop this. This is ridiculous. It's their own systems and they should know how to work them. I called them and told them to stop and it doesn't. Now it's become harassment.
Poor quality frame and poor customer service
I took shipment of my new glasses in mid-July and foolishly accepted the cheap and poorly designed frames. By mid-September one of the temples fell off making the glasses unwearable. In response to my contacting the company I was told they could not send me a replacement nut to reattach the temple, all the while repeating that they had a 365 day manufacturer's warranty. (I was able to get a semi-serviceable fix from the local Walmart for FREE.) And now in mid-December the other temple has fallen off. The only thing GlassesUSA is offering is a discount coupon on my next purchase which certainly will never happen and I recommend nobody else waste their money at GlassesUSA, either!
Over a month, no glasses
This is the WORST company ever to do business with. I have been waiting for my glasses for over a month and I have not received them because they were returned for insufficient address. They claim I did not put my address on the order. Now what website lets you complete an order with out an address? I called several times and they don't care about your concerns. So now they have my money and glasses and won't refund me. They keep saying that they don't have the glasses yet. Now even for the United States Postal Service it does not take 20 days to return a shipment. In the meantime I am paying interest on the money
Prescription and fees both wrong
When I first ordered my glasses, I realized a few hours later that I had paid for a faster delivery that would not even have been possible because of my prescription. I emailed them and told them of my error, and suggested that it would truly be in their best interest to refund that to me. I explained that it was an error that THEY should have caught. They played dumb and swept it under the rug, apparently. Then, nearly a month later, I got my glasses and the prescription was terribly wrong. I sent them back. When they finally arrived the prescription was correct but they'd failed to use the Transitions lens I had ordered and paid for. I emailed them immediately .. not one word. I am considering bringing a law suit.
Eyeglasses
Customer service is non-existent with this co. An order was shipped and lost. GlassesUSA claims no responsibility and made no attempt to track the order. As they requested I spoke with my local post office and was told the package was probably stolen and it was now the shippers responsibility. No offer of replacement or refund was made. Fortunately I selected the split payments and had my credit card company charge back the 1st payment and decline any future payments. This is not my only review for them and the State Attorney Generals office has been notified of their deceptive practice.
Glasses I ordered
I order glasses from this company over a week ago. I called multiple times just to verify the order was correct, only to be spoken to harshly and then abruptly hung up on. I submitted emails as well as messages on Facebook only to get the run around. When I finally got through to a supervisor I learned my order had indeed been submitted INCORRECTLY and that I would have to start the process all over again! I have already paid for these glasses as well as for expedited shipping. their web site says they are a US based company however this is not true at all! I think something needs to be done about this company!
Delivery Timeframe
This company will discount retail prices on their site by up to 50% so don't pay the listed price. BEWARE! Delivery times take forever. You will need a new prescription by the time they actually ship your glasses. They promise everyone expedited (upgrade) shipping, which is worth absolutely nothing.
Check out their bad reviews; don't make the same mistake I did. Ordered 7/14. On 7/27, no updates and still in "Quality Control". Their service people could care less and the sales people will tell you anything to make the sale.
Unauthorized purchase
An individual stole my credit card information and purchased glasses on May 11, 2016. This person had the glasses mailed to my address, however, there was no invoice in the purchase. I attempted to call and email glassesusa.com to get a refund label. However, without the invoice number or accurate email address I guess they couldn't help me. Now, 2 months later my bank whom I disputed this claim gave me the transaction information and a copy of the invoice from their records. I was told to contact glassesusa.com regarding the matter and get a refund. Now, I have the information; I've emailed and called customer service several times only to get generic responses and that a supervisor will get back to me. This company is a joke. They promote unauthorized fraudulent purchasing, I guess it's okay with them for the next person to steal another person's identity and misrepresent themselves for a pair of glasses at the cost of some else's budget. I would never order from such a company that does not take action for such circumstances.
glasses never produced
I ordered Rx sunglasses from this company and when I had not received an order update after 2 weeks, I called and was disconnected by the customer service rep without resolution. After e-mailing the company, I received an e-mail saying the glasses had been poor quality and had to be re-produced. After an additional 2 weeks, I called again and was told by the customer service rep that he could not tell me why my glasses were not produced. When I said that if I could not get a resolution, I would cancel the order, he said that that would "be a good idea." When I asked to speak to a manager, he told me they didn't have any. Worse company ever--steer clear!
Customer service and charges unauthorized
They have charged my cr3dit card 197.32 for a pair of glasses that cost 345.00. They could not charge my credit card the full amount but tried to charged the 197.32 which is pending. I cancel the order and tried to charge me after the fact. No2 I have this pending in my account and cannot buy a pair of glasses until it is resolve. The customer service try to help you bit limited to what they can do. When I ask for a supervisor or a manager they stated no one is available. This company has me pulling my hair out. Very fustrating. Never again will I do business with them. Beware of glassesusa.com. bad business.
