I booked a bus ticket from Pune to Bangalore with their affiliated bus operators. I arrived at the pickup spot on time on January 14, 2024. I received a pickup call from the bus operator saying they had arrived at the designated pickup location, but I didn't see them anywhere near the designated stop on time.
The driver didn't even stop at the location for more than a minute, and they ran from the stop, calling me to arrive at the next pickup spot to not miss the bus. This was obviously not possible for me, as I had a family traveling with me and a lot of luggage. I started quarreling with them to ask them to wait for me at the spot for at least 5 to 10 minutes, but these guys arrogantly responded to me, saying that they would not stop for me and asking me to contact Goibibo for my refund as I had missed the bus. The bus operator was Orange Tour and Travels Ltd.
Ok, after this, I raised the complaint with the Goibibo online portal, as there was no customer care executive physically present to address my complaint and initiate the refund; they don't even have an email ID to raise the issue. They just keep sending a message on their WhatsApp number saying that they have received the complaint and are working on it. This is ridiculous, as I'm wasting my time tracking a refund of my lost money, and I'm now frustrated with this whole process.
I'm requesting GoIbiBo to address this and return my booking amount of 6,000 rupees back to me as soon as possible.
