The same exact thing happened to me as documented in the 10/23/09 post by Storm2004. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING STATED about additional charges nor did terms displayed at any time indicate additional charges were being authorized. I read through EVERYTHING before signing up for this imagining it must be too good to be true and, after seeing no committment beyond the $1 plus a reputable name like Google attached, entered my info. I have made countless phone calls to them for refunds to no avail. I have also disputed with my credit card company. I told the credit card company to not allow any additional charges from these companies (whose names vary) and they said they could not? That was crazy enough so I closed my account with them. There must be many people affected by this scam and would think a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT is in order. Does anyone have any information on anything that has been filed as of yet?

I had the same experience as Storm2004's post of 10/23/09. I read through EVERYTHING before entering my information and NO WHERE AT ALL did it state anything about additional charges. I have made countless phone calls to various representatives and supervisors at thse companies to no avail. I also had to cancel my credit card as they stated they could not block future charges from them? That I do not understand. I currently have the charges in dispute with the credit card company. This is such a horrible scam because even after reading all the fine print, there is nothing to state additional charges apply. I can't imagine how many people are affected by this...I've seen so many posts already on the internet. Does anyone know of any CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS that are currently underway? It appears this would certainly qualify.

The name of the company is 'Income Easy Street' and yes they are a scam and no they are not affiliated with Google. You can read more about how you got scammed here: www.[redacted].com ... then just type in Income Easy Street into the search engine.
My bank would not refund my money. They said the info I agreed to ($129) was in the term & conditions at the bottom of the website. I went back to the site and found the term & conditions in a tiny link on the bottom of the page.
I closed my bank account to avoid additional monthly charges from this legal scammer and from any other programs they signed me up for that I am not aware of.
Before you agree to any trialmembership, info kit, free info, or anything else free and you only pay for shipping...BEWARE! Do not give your credit card number until you check it out at www.[redacted].com. Remember: Check It Out Before You Whip It Out!...Peace to you

I took in by this scam thinking it was the real Google Company. They are very deceiving as they have a picture of Google's Headquarters on their website along with Google's logo. $1.95 you think to get information on working from home. If you miss their contract info (since it is in light letters on a light background) you will be slammed with $129.95 charge and $39.98 charge, and monthly charge of $39.98 thereafter until you cancel the contract. The thing is, you do not realize you have these charges until you get your credit card statement!
BUT! There is hope! Stay on the phone and call them every single day! I did this for 3 months until they got sick of me and agreed to give me my money back. Yep, I got it all back too! So do not give up! Most folks, I think, give up and pay the money. Don't do it! Also, turn them into the Better Business Bureau in your home state and the Attorneys General Office. Also, report them to Google. The more folks who complain, maybe Google will add them into their lawsuit, which currently they are not a part of!
Hang in there and pursue your money back! Stay on them until they agree to reimburse you!

This company is awful! When I signed up for this, there was absolutely no "disclosure" to be found on the website. They charged me $1.00, then 3 days later charged me $129.95. I called my credit card company and explained the situation to them and they credited myaccount and said if within 45 days if the company didn't "rebill" for the amount of $129.95, that they would consider the matter closed. Well, guess what, within 5 days of the 45 days, the company rebilled me. The credit card company billed me again for it and now I am fighting it again and will continue to fight until it is OVER. I am having to gather what little information I have from these creeps and send it again to my credit card company, so I am printing all these comments and forwarding them to my credit card company so they can see what frauds this "easy street" company really is.

I'm sorry to say that I fell for this scam as well. I was wary when I signed up, but they did such a good job at hiding the term, that I never saw them - even though I was looking. On top of it all, a second company I never heard of started billing me monthly as well.
Here's one way to get your money back...
1. First call the company and cancel the membership to prevent any future billing. Get confirmation. Remember you're dealing with scam artists.
2. Call your credit card company and demand that they reverse the charges. The scammers will fight back, sending the cc company the terms of the agreement, but that does NOT constitute proof that the terms were visible on thte website while you were signing up. I stuck to my claim that they weren't visible, and of course the scammers couldn't prove that they were. If the cc company gives you any resistance ask them to send proof that you authorized the transactions. They won't be able to. Insist on your refund.
Here's some more info about the individuals that own the company...
CHRISTIAN J HALL, 32212 N 44TH PL, CAVE CREEK, AZ 85331
ROBERT MUSICK, 4124 E LONESOME TRL, CAVE CREEK, AZ 85331
JAMES BUNCH, 461 W FLAMING DR, CHANDLER, AZ 85286
You can find all this on the Arizona public access system at...
http://starpas.azcc.gov/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wsbroker1/names-detail.p?name-id=L15429570&type=L.L.C.#ScannedDocuments
You might also get your money back from the compny itself by filing with the BBB as well as the Arizona States Attorney's Office. File your complaints and then call the company. Hound them. Don't be intimidated by any threats hey make against you or your credit.
I agree with an earlier commentator. We should begin a class action law suit against these bums.

Ditto ...Ditto...more Ditto and Ditto to the 25th power. The jerks gave me a confirmation number for my refund and NEVER sent it to me! The deal was that it was a banner or msn. I clicked the banner (because it said Google) and the verbage originally did not say anything about $129.00 in fact it claimed no hidden charges like the other scam artist! I want a class action suit! I am going to refer them to the BBB but this is a scary one! I even wonder about the Bank involvment! I called and informed them that it was a scam and that it was all over the internet as a scam and that they did not do want they claimed and they said because I provided cc information they could not do anything about it! A did not would not help me! So using your cc doesn't have the protection it use to have! Oh did I say that when the add started asking for fees on line I THOUGHT I had canceled! It is NOT your ordinary website! Consumers beware! Sly Devils and Demons are on the prowl JUST to eat you alive! A Broke society is a Truly a dangerous one!
