GotPrint.com Review: Quality Products, Inconvenient Customer Service, and Shipping Delays
I recently placed an order for 1000 postcards on GotPrint.com, with an advertised production time of 1-3 days and an estimated delivery between April 15 and April 28. On April 18, I contacted them to inquire about the delivery status, hoping that the cards were already on their way. Unfortunately, I found out that they were still in the print stage. However, I had seen on their website that they were experiencing delays due to a shortage of materials, so I understood that this was beyond their control.
My goal was to receive the postcards by Friday, April 22, and I was willing to expedite the shipping if they were done by Thursday. To my relief, they called me on Thursday to inform me that the cards were ready and could be overnighted to me. However, I was not at my home address at the time, so I requested that they ship the cards to a different location. I was disappointed to learn that they could not change the shipping address over the phone and that I had to send an email with the new address. This was quite inconvenient, as I had to stop driving to do so. Furthermore, the fastest shipping option to the new location would take two days, with no weekend deliveries.
While waiting for the postcards to arrive, I read through GotPrint's reviews from the past six months. To my dismay, all of the reviews were either 1 or 2 stars, with no 3, 4, or 5-star ratings. This made me concerned that the postcards would not be of good quality. However, when they finally arrived on Friday (a friend picked them up and brought them to me), I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were perfect! The paper was thick enough, and the print quality on both sides was vibrant and clear.
Overall, I would recommend using GotPrint, but be sure to order early and allow plenty of time for shipping. While their customer service could use some improvement, the quality of their products is excellent.
GotPrint.com: A Disappointing Experience with Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service
I am so disappointed with GotPrint.com. I have been using them for all of my printing needs for the past 10 years, but my last two orders of business cards were a complete disaster. The cards were cut so poorly that you could see white edges, making them unusable. What's worse is that their online graphic design app doesn't even show if the edges are correct or not.
As a business owner myself, I know that it's important to make your customers happy, especially when they've been loyal to you for so long. I've had my fair share of problems with customers, but I always try to make it right, even if it means paying to fix the problem myself. I've never argued with them or made them feel stupid on the phone.
But when I called GotPrint.com to complain about the bad cards, the girl on the phone was a total $#*!. I hung up, made a new batch of cards, and paid again. But when the second batch came back bad, I had to deal with another person arguing with me on the phone. It took them a week to get back to me, and all they offered was a measly $20 credit.
I don't understand why some businesses are willing to lose a loyal customer over such a small amount of money. The best part is that I just expanded my business and will be using tons of postcards within the next year and a half. GotPrint.com is going to lose out on anywhere from 10 to $20,000 worth of orders.
I've moved on from GotPrint.com, and for those business owners looking to print, I highly recommend Costco. They offer 500 business cards for only $22, and they come out great. Don't waste your time or money with GotPrint.com.
GotPrint.com Review: Poor Customer Service and Lack of File Set-Up Instructions
I recently ordered some greeting cards from GotPrint.com for the second time. I was excited to receive my order, but when I opened the package, I was disappointed to find that the inside message was upside down. I immediately contacted their customer service to complain about the issue. However, I was told that the orientation of the artwork was set up incorrectly. I was surprised to hear this because I had set up the artwork just as I had done the first time.
I decided to check the file setup template that GotPrint had provided, but to my surprise, there was nothing there to note how to set up the orientation of the cover and inside pages. I also checked the Preparing Files page, but still, there was no information about the orientation set up. I was frustrated and confused because I couldn't find the information I needed. It turns out that the orientation set up information was in a link in a small "help" box in the corner of one single web page. I had to spend a lot of time searching for it, and it was not an easy task.
I was disappointed that I had to scour the website to find out the complete and accurate file set-up instructions that were scattered across multiple pages. I wondered why that information was not included in the setup templates they provide to their customers. I was flabbergasted by this and decided that I won't order from them again.
GotPrint promised me a discount code on a reorder, but after waiting all day for it, I placed the order without the code. At that point, it would not have mattered because the savings wouldn't have covered the rush shipping costs. I would have ordered from another printer, but I already had the envelopes and needed a specific size.
Most online printers provide a template that accurately shows how to set up every facet of your artwork and an online printing proof that shows how your job is going to be printed. However, GotPrint does not provide these services. Apparently, if you want an actual, correct printing proof, that's another $6 and a 24 hour wait. My company has spent over $3,000 with them in the last six months alone, but I am taking our business elsewhere. I am disappointed with their services and lack of attention to detail.
GotPrint.com Review: Terrible Quality and Customer Service Experience
I have had some experience with GotPrint.com in the past, and while they have made some minor errors on my jobs, I was always able to work around the issues with them. However, my recent experience with them has been terrible. I sent two jobs to GotPrint in the past two weeks, and both of them were printed incorrectly and of poor quality. The original artwork was shaded over, which destroyed the original graphic design. My client was at a very important conference and needed these brochures, but when he saw the printing, he was so mad that he yelled at me and told me that the printing was awful.
When I contacted GotPrint Service to help me correct the problem, they kept telling me that it had to be referred to their "Quality" department, and that they only get in touch and respond by email. This must be a new procedure with GotPrint, where they don't want to speak with their customers directly. I waited two days for a response, but of course, nothing. I had to keep calling GotPrint back, and they kept telling me that they would be "sending me an email shortly" to resolve the problem. I had to call in so many times that the Service department knew who I was.
12 days later, I finally insisted that I speak with a Manager. He was so difficult and manipulative that I finally gave up, which is of course what he wanted. I even had to ask him if he could put his head down on the pillow at the end of the day and feel good about what he had done to someone such as me, who runs a small business and can't afford to pay for the mistakes made by a big outfit like GotPrint. Of course, he just talked over me and told me that the bad print job wasn't his fault.
I am completely exhausted from this experience, and I have lost a very valuable client. I am extremely disappointed with the way this whole situation was handled. I would not recommend GotPrint to anyone. Jean G., Scottsdale, Arizona.
Impressive Quality and Pricing: My Review of GotPrint
I've been a loyal customer of GotPrint for many years now and I must say, they never fail to impress me with their quality and pricing. I've used their services for a variety of printing needs such as mailers, envelopes, letterhead, business cards, magnets, signs, shirts, greeting cards, flyers, brochures, and more. The quality of printed materials is crucial when you want to convey a sense of luxury or quality with your products or services, and GotPrint never disappoints in that aspect. They offer a wide range of options to ensure that every print piece is of high quality, no matter what materials are selected.
One of my favorite products from GotPrint is their Trifecta business cards. Every time I hand one out, people are amazed by how thick and hard it is. They often try to open it, thinking it's a fold-out card. The blue Trifecta card is perfect for my business as it complements our logo colors. GotPrint understands the importance of making a lasting impression, and they deliver on that front.
I also appreciate how GotPrint is continuously improving their software to make it more user-friendly. They are always adding new products to their line and enhancing their online designer tool and other features to make the ordering and shopping experience more convenient and efficient. As a business owner based in Hawaii, I do wish they had more cost-effective shipping options or better discounts for shipping to Hawaii. However, I understand that there are limitations to what can be done to reduce shipping costs.
Overall, I am grateful for GotPrint's innovative and customer-focused approach. They deliver great service at a high quality and reasonable price. I refer GotPrint to anyone who asks about where we source our promotional materials. Mahalo for being an awesome company, GotPrint! Keep doing what you're doing.
Gotprint's Bulk Mailing Services: Poor Customer Service and Unethical Practices
I've been a loyal customer of gotprint for many years now. I've always used their services for printing my business cards and door hangers, and I must say that they have always provided me with high-quality products. However, my recent experience with their bulk mailing services was not a pleasant one.
I decided to use their bulk mailing services and paid approximately $1350 for printing and postage. Unfortunately, the boxes got lost in shipment and never reached the destination post office for mailing. When I contacted gotprint, I spoke with a girl named Shandra, who was not very helpful. They basically waived all responsibility and told me to follow up with the post office.
After following up with the post office, I found out that even if the post office is guilty of losing the packages, it is the postage buyer's responsibility to file a claim to receive money back on the postage paid (approximately. 18 cents per mailer). I was shocked to learn that the postage buyer only has 30 days to file a claim for a refund from the point of mailing.
I learned quickly that gotprint was being dishonest as they also admitted that this happens a few times (lost bulk mailers) per month. If this is the case, then they already know the process that should follow when filing claims for lost packages and requesting refunds. Instead, they point the finger at everyone else when they could easily get their money back for postage from USPS and re-print the postcards at their cost to do right by their customers. This is just poor customer service on their part.
I filed a charge-back and won, but I also felt compelled to write this review to warn others of their unethical practices. It's not right to knowingly forward customers to chase claims and request refunds when indeed it's your responsibility (and you know this already from previous experience). That is just purely unethical.
In conclusion, I would still recommend gotprint for their regular printing services, but I would advise against using their bulk mailing services. It's just not worth the risk of losing your packages and having to deal with their poor customer service.
GotPrint.com: Incompetent and Unprofessional - A Warning to Others
I gotta say, I was pretty surprised by the level of incompetence I experienced with GotPrint.com. I went online to order some business cards and got an email the next day saying my order was "approved". But then a few days later, I got another email saying my card was declined. I tried to reorder the same thing, but it was a real pain in the butt because I had to re-upload everything and make all my choices again. I finally placed the order again and got another confirmation email, but then I got another "card declined" email. I know I had enough money in my account, and I was super careful when I entered my card info the second time.
I was so frustrated that I called customer service and gave them my order date and name. They found my order and took my card number over the phone, and I thought everything was finally sorted out. But then the next day, I saw TWO pending charges on my account. They charged my card TWICE, once without my permission! I couldn't believe it.
So I sent them a polite email explaining what happened and asking for a refund. But their response was just ridiculous. They said, "The order has started the printing process for both orders. We are unable to allow changes to the files and or cancel the order at this point. Please reply to this email with confirmation if you wish to have the order discarded to have the shipping fee re-funded." Like, what?! I didn't place two separate orders, just the same one twice because the first one was declined. I even sent them screenshots of the declined emails and my call to customer service, but they still refused to help me.
I'm still fighting with them over this, and I won't give up on principle. But seriously, don't order anything from this company. It's just not worth the hassle.
GotPrint's Poor Customer Service and Unfair Resolution for Defective Greeting Cards
I recently made an order with GotPrint for 1000 Greeting Cards for my small business. Unfortunately, when I received the cards, I noticed that all 1000 of them had what looked like pencil scribble marks on the inside. I was very disappointed and contacted the company with photos of the issue, asking for a refund for my order. However, they took quite a while to get back to me and then asked for more photos. I sent them more photos and eventually they got back to me and said they could offer me a $50 dollar credit on an order that I paid $152.70 for. I declined this offer and called Customer Service to express my dissatisfaction.
I spoke with Jim and he put in a request for my money back. However, they got back to me and offered me $100 back in credit or a reprint. I was not happy with this offer as it did not seem fair to me, especially as a small business owner who relies on greeting cards for a living. I have had reprints done with them before and they often have an entirely different issue than the last. I called Jim back to express my need for a full refund, as I needed the cards for my business and this had already taken 2 weeks at this point. However, Jim was very agitated and asked me why I didn't just respond back to the email, instead of calling him. This made me feel like the Customer Service was not up to par.
So, now I have 1000 cards that I cannot use for my business with no Refund or Credit because GotPrint refuses to resolve this issue in a fair way. It is such a shame to lose a customer who has been with them for almost 7 years and who has spent well over $10,000 dollars printing with this company for $152.70. I would advise others to save their time and hard-earned money, and print with a company that has integrity.
GotPrint's Poor Customer Service and Inaccurate Templates
UPDATE:
So, after we reported the problem for the second time, GotPrint finally responded and offered us a discount to re-upload and order the banners. It's good that they finally responded, but we're not going to pay for something that should have been correct the first time if we used their template - even if it is discounted. Plus, even if we did order new banners, they wouldn't arrive on time for our show since it took two problem requests to get a response. GotPrint should make sure their templates are accurate so this wouldn't be a problem in the first place.
ORIGINAL:
We've been using GotPrint for years and haven't had many issues... until this year. Earlier this year, we received the wrong postcards. We reported the problem through their website and they acknowledged their mistake and said they would ship us the correct postcards. We asked for them to be overnighted since we needed to send them out for our trade show, but they didn't arrive until two weeks later - after we needed to send them out. We made a note to give GotPrint more time in case of future problems, but we shouldn't have to do that.
Then in November, we ordered table top banners. The banners we received had our logo cut off at the bottom. We double checked our files and made sure everything was within their guidelines downloaded from their website. We reported the problem and they asked for pictures, which we sent along with the original files. But we never heard back. We had to use the banners with our logo cut off at the bottom for our trade show. We sent two more emails and never got a response. It's now January and we had to call them.
The lady on the phone was rude and said it was our fault and they couldn't change our files. We used their template and made sure everything was in the lines, but they should make sure their templates are correct. We looked at the file submitted on their website and our logo was above the line they had on the file. The lady on the phone didn't help us and told us to file a problem through their website, which we already did. We don't think this will ever be resolved if they don't respond. We won't be using GotPrint anymore and have already ordered postcards through a new printer.
GotPrint.com's Customer Service is Insulting and Unacceptable - Lost a Customer Over Their Mistake
I've been using GotPrint.com for the past 5 years and have spent a lot of money with them. However, my recent experience with them has been disappointing. I placed a large order for our non-profit organization's biggest fundraiser of the year. When the order arrived, it was missing a critical component - the response card envelopes. I called customer service multiple times, but they didn't seem to care about the urgency of the situation. They eventually reprinted the envelopes, but they arrived two weeks later, causing us to miss our shipping deadline by more than 10 days. This mistake had a financial implication on our event, which was devastating for us.
I spoke with two "managers" who didn't take the issue seriously and thought that reprinting the envelopes was enough. After expressing how much this error had affected us, one manager promised to forward a request to their quality control department for a full or at least a partial refund. However, after two more phone calls, they only offered a $15 coupon on our next order. I spoke with another customer service representative who confirmed that this was the "best that they could do" but understood how frustrating it was for us. She promised that the manager of the quality control department, John, would call me back before the end of the day, but he never did.
I called again today, but John was in a meeting. They told me that John is the highest authority in the company and that no one else can help me. This type of customer service is insulting and unacceptable. I'm shocked that a company like this would lose a customer over a mistake that is clearly on their end. I hope that John calls back, but I'm not holding my breath.
UPDATE: After posting my original review, I received a call from a manager named Fernando who was very apologetic and gave me a credit for the full order. I appreciate his response and have changed my review to 3 stars. However, I still can't believe how much time was wasted on trying to resolve their error. We've decided to cancel all other outstanding print jobs and move on to another company. I hope that others can learn from our experience and find a company that cares about their customers.

GotPrint Review: Affordable and High-Quality Printing, But Frustrating Submission Process
I recently had my first experience with GotPrint, thanks to a recommendation from a colleague. I ordered an 8.5x11 trifold brochure and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the final product. The brochure looked great and was well-made, all at a much better price than I found elsewhere.
However, the submission and review process was quite frustrating. I received multiple messages stating that my uploaded brochure files needed bleed and that the panels didn't match the template. This was despite the fact that my art had bleed and fit the bleed-crop-safe layout boundaries as shown on the online proof. I had to resubmit my files twice, which extended the process by several days. Eventually, I had to tell them to print as-is, which was a bit of a disappointment. To make matters worse, the two-day UPS shipment on a Friday wasn't delivered until Tuesday, which added even more time. I would have preferred to use USPS instead.
The templates available on the website didn't help me much, as I just measured the correct dimensions, including fold lines, in my layout and imaging software. This worked out well for me, but it might not be the best option for everyone.
If I decide to use GotPrint again, I'll make sure to factor in the long processing time (which is similar to that of VP***t) and trust my art. However, I do have to say that their customer service by telephone is essentially non-existent. When I called with a pre-purchase question, the phone rang forever and the person who finally answered didn't know anything.
Overall, I'm happy with the final product, but the submission and review process could use some improvement. If you're willing to put up with a bit of frustration, GotPrint is a good option for affordable and high-quality printing.
GotPrint: Disappointing Customer Service & Quality - Not Worth Your Time or Money
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with GotPrint. I've been a loyal customer for over a decade, and I've even convinced a few of my previous employers to switch over to them. But this most recent order has been a total nightmare. I needed the job done in a hurry, but it's been over 12 days and I still don't have my product. And the customer service has been a real letdown - they've been no help at all since the problems started. I finally spoke to a supervisor today, but they were just as unhelpful and rude as everyone else I've talked to. And to top it all off, I'm still paying for this "rush job" that's taken forever to complete.
I'm really disappointed that GotPrint has let me down like this. I've seen other reviews with similar problems, and it seems like GotPrint always blames the customer instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes. That's just not good customer service, and it's even worse than the usual bad service you get when you call with a problem.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money with this company. It seems like something's changed - maybe they're under new management or about to go bankrupt - because the quality, efficiency, and customer service have all taken a nosedive. I'm definitely not going to be a customer anymore, and I'll make sure to tell anyone who asks that they should look elsewhere for their printing needs.
Avoid GotPrint.com at all costs - worst printing service ever!
This place is the worst, seriously. I wouldn't even give it one star if I could. GotPrint.com is a complete disaster, and I'm telling you, do not use their printing services. They promised me that my order would be ready in four days, but it wasn't. They didn't even bother to update me on when my cards would be ready. I needed them for an event, and now I have nothing to give to our participants. It's a complete nightmare.
I'm telling you, don't be fooled by their cheap prices. They will con you into thinking that you're getting a good deal, but you're not. If you're on a tight deadline, forget about it. They'll give you a ton of excuses and tell you that they're understaffed. But let's be real, who isn't understaffed these days? It's just a bunch of nonsense.
I had to call them back because they didn't understand the importance of me needing my cards the next day. They said they would call me back, but they never did. And when I finally got through to someone, they just gave me the same old excuses. It's ridiculous.
I really wanted to give this place a good review, but I can't. Every negative review on here is right. This place is a complete disaster. The only person who was okay was Michael because he helped me get a refund. But other than that, this place is not trustworthy at all.
The owner claims that it was only a one or two-day delay, but the representative told me that it wouldn't be ready until mid-next week. I mean, come on. That's just ridiculous. This place is a complete joke, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stay away from GotPrint.com.

Disappointing Experience with Got Print: A Former Customer's Review
I've been in the printing game for a long time, and I've worked with a lot of printers. From the old-school lithography days to the modern digital printing era, I've seen it all. But when I stumbled upon Got Print back in 2010-11, I was absolutely blown away by their quality, speed, and pricing. Especially their pricing - it was unbeatable. I've done countless small to medium-sized jobs with them over the years, and I never had a single issue. In fact, I loved picking up those jobs - there's just something about the smell of printer's ink that gets me going.
However, my most recent experience with Got Print was a complete disaster. Not only is their customer service virtually non-existent (with the exception of Jose, who is an absolute gem), but the quality of the job was subpar. I've decided to stop using Got Print altogether, and while I know my business won't make a dent in their profits, I can't help but feel disappointed in the direction they're headed. When a customer has to wait on hold for 15 minutes just to speak to someone who knows nothing about printing, it's clear that something is seriously wrong. Maybe it's Covid, maybe it's the labor shortage - but I personally blame the owners of Got Print. They're probably too busy buying fancy cars and mansions to care about their customers.
But I refuse to accept this kind of treatment. I've found another online printer that actually cares about their customers, and I'm eagerly awaiting my first delivery next week. If you're also fed up with Got Print's terrible customer service, know that there are plenty of other online printers out there who can deliver the same high-quality results and actually be there to answer your questions and address your needs.
So long, Got Print - it's been real, but it's time to move on. Signed, a former Got Print customer.
Mixed Feelings about GotPrint.com: Inaccurate Proofing and Unreliable Shipping
So, I recently used GotPrint.com for some business cards and I have mixed feelings about my experience. Let me start by saying that their "instant online proof" is not all that accurate. I made an error in my InDesign setup, but the proof did not show all the subtleties of layered PDFs. It was my fault, but I feel like their proof should have displayed the file as it was going to print. If it had, I would have made changes. They did not even acknowledge the fault of the proofing.
On the other hand, I had an issue with their shipping. For certain "lightweight" packages, they use "UPS Mail Innovations" which is like SmartPost and SurePost. It's a hybrid system where UPS takes the package from origin to the local post office, where the mail carrier takes over. The problem is that nobody gives these packages any respect. The tracking information is not real-time and inaccurate. GotPrint's problem is that they don't tell the customer what kind of shipment they are using. They just say "Economy" and that's not a service. They should tell us the carrier (UPS, USPS, etc.) and the service level (ground, 2nd day, etc.) and let us decide.
Overall, I would say that GotPrint.com has some issues that need to be addressed. The proofing system needs to be more accurate and they need to be more transparent about their shipping methods. I would still use them again, but I would be more cautious and ask more questions before placing my order.
GotPrint's Color Matching Policy Caused Me to Lose My Business - A Disappointing Experience
I'm a small time graphic designer who has been using GotPrint for all my clients. I don't make a lot of money, but I've always managed to get by and GotPrint has been my go-to printer. They've always done a great job and made me look good, until my last order. I sent in a file for a second printing and was disappointed to see that the colors came out all wrong. My client was very unhappy with the result and I was devastated. I filed a print issue with GotPrint, but they refused to take responsibility for it. They said that they only need to be within 80% color of my file, which leaves a lot of room for error. Unfortunately, they missed the mark this time and it's cost me my business.
I've been happy with GotPrint's quality up until now, but I can't afford to take losses like this. It's put me out of business and I wouldn't trust them anymore. I suggest that anyone who's considering using them should be aware that they may be out of pocket for unacceptable print quality. I did try to resolve the issue with GotPrint, but they told me that their quality control department had checked the color density of my file and that the change I saw was normal in gang printing. They're a gang printer and can't match colors 100%. They guarantee an 80% match to your file, but each time colors could play up to 15-20%. You can see their color matching policy on their website under "terms of use."
Overall, I'm disappointed with GotPrint's lack of responsibility for their mistake. As a small business owner, I can't afford to take losses like this and it's cost me dearly. I wouldn't recommend them anymore and I'll be looking for a new printer for my future projects.
GotPrint.com's Terrible Customer Service and Lack of Communication
I recently placed an order for a pop-up banner on GotPrint.com. They sent me a digital proof of the banner via email, which I could either approve or deny. I had a change that I wanted to make on my banner, so I denied the proof. They then prompted me to submit a new file, which I did with the changes. They sent me a new proof to approve or deny, and I approved it as it was the correct banner with the correct changes.
However, when my banner arrived, it was the FIRST proof that I had DENIED. I was very disappointed and frustrated with this mistake. I called customer service to report the issue, and they said they would look into it and contact me by email. They emailed me later that day and confirmed that it was their mistake and they had printed the wrong banner. They placed the order again for me.
I contacted customer service again to ask if they could overnight the banner to me as I needed it within the next few days. Unfortunately, I got NO response back. When I received an email saying that the order had been placed, I asked again when the banner would arrive as I needed it as soon as possible, but again got NO response. I contacted customer service one last time and expressed my dissatisfaction with their customer service and their lack of response to any of my questions. However, I received NO response from them. I was very disappointed with their lack of communication and professionalism.
My company is currently redoing all four of our divisions' booths for tradeshows and will be spending a lot of money. I am so glad that I only purchased one piece from GotPrint.com before any of the others. I will never go through GotPrint.com again and advise all to stay away from them. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not seem to care about their customers' needs.
GotPrint's Quality Control Failed Me: 2,500 Upside Down Greeting Cards
I've been using GotPrint for a hot minute now, since 2013, and I've ordered a ton of stuff from them over the years. But let me tell you, my most recent order was a real doozy. The inside text of my greeting cards was printed upside down, can you believe it? And not just a few, oh no, they sent me 3 whole cases of 2,500 greeting cards that are completely unusable. I mean, come on, GotPrint, what gives?
Now, I always pay for their MANUAL PROOF service, you know, just to make sure someone at GotPrint is actually looking at the proof to make sure everything is uploaded properly. But apparently, one file wasn't uploaded right and they didn't even bother to let me know there was a problem. Rude much?
So, I called up their customer service department and talked to this dude who said they should have notified me about the problem since I ordered the manual proof. Well, no one did, and the proof instructions were pretty vague, so I approved it thinking everything was good to go. The proof said "Cover once folded" and it looked right to me, one panel the FRONT cover and the other panel the BACK cover. But if they had said FRONT once folded or FRONT PANEL once folded or FRONT COVER once folded, I would have known something was up.
Their customer service department admitted they messed up, but their quality control department didn't agree and refused to fix the situation. So now I'm stuck with 2,500 greeting cards that are completely useless. Needless to say, they've lost me as a customer. I mean, who wants to deal with that kind of hassle?
Disappointing Experience with GotPrint: Inconsistent Quality and Customer Service Issues
I've been using GotPrint for over a decade now, and I have to say, my recent experience has left me feeling disappointed. I placed a few orders for business cards and rack cards, and unfortunately, the cutting process left a lot to be desired. I'm not one to nitpick, but the cuts were so bad that I couldn't accept them.
When I reached out to customer service, they told me that my business card file had incorrect specifications. I was surprised to hear this, as I had used the same design at least four times before without any issues. The design has a border, and they claimed that my design was visibly short of the safe and trim lines. I had to explain this three separate times, twice to customer service and once to quality control. It wasn't until I convinced quality control to review the actual file used for print that they admitted that the file met their own specifications. I had been asking them to review the file from the beginning. They did finally agree to reprint the business cards.
The same thing happened with the rack card. They claimed that the design was faulty, even though it was the exact same file that I had used before with GotPrint. It was frustrating to have to go through the same process again.
I've also noticed that the quality of the other items I received over the past few weeks has been inconsistent. Some were good, while others were not up to par. I was hoping that my experience was just a fluke, but after reading some of the other 1-star reviews here, it seems like I'm not alone.
As much as it pains me to say it, I don't think I can recommend GotPrint anymore. After 10 years of using their services, it's time for me to look elsewhere.
GotPrint.com's Customer Service Needs Improvement
I've been using GotPrint.com for more than 15 years and have spent thousands of dollars on orders. However, I must say that their customer service has gone downhill. Recently, I submitted an order for folders, but they replied that the artwork was incorrect and needed to be resubmitted. I sent an email to ***@gotprint.com earlier today, requesting someone to call me and explain what was wrong with the artwork. Unfortunately, I faced issues while trying to upload the new files as their uploading page was not working properly. It kept showing an error message that the artwork didn't extend to the edge, even though it did. I contacted customer service, and the agent, Brenda G., said that there was nothing they could do as she didn't have a workout for that. I was shocked! I mean, they are a printing company, and they should have an email address where people can send the files or an account with senditnow or something similar. I decided to cancel the order, but the agent didn't even know where I should click to cancel it. I am now looking for a new printing company as their bad customer service is killing them.
UPDATE: I received a call from a customer service representative, but they didn't understand the notes and what was wrong with the file either. It was really funny when she tried to explain it and then said, "Wait, this doesn't make any sense!" I agree with her. GotPrint.com needs to have their artwork guys, who actually do the printing, call and explain exactly what's wrong with the artwork. I have communicated with three different customer service agents today, and none of them could clearly explain to me what was wrong with the artwork so I could fix it. Also, if their upload page is having issues, they need an alternate way to upload files for when that page isn't working. After all, this is all they do for a living!
