Let me start off by saying this company is a 3rd party company that is a scam and do not ever do business with them. We were originally offered a "free vacation" from Worldmark if we listened to a timeshare pitch back in Dec 2022. We went to the timeshare pitch and listened to them for almost three hours or so. That was not the problem. The problem was with Grand Incentives/Take A Getaway. They sent us the information and voucher to fill out, and we did just that. They're rules are step by step, and you have to mail the information back in a timely manner along with your $50 deposit that they collect. If you don't do everything exactly as they say, then they will disqualify you from the vacation promotion. That was still not the problem. The problem got to the point when we were ready for the vacation in August 2023
They're phone numbers and emails are not official, so they come off as spam, and you may miss them if you don't answer their calls or see their emails. As for the trip, if you qualify, they will call and try to pitch the trip destinations to you. And, they require you to put another deposit down along with the hotel charges. And, at first, we were told that it was a rebate situation.
We had to pay in advance, and then we would send a voucher in for the rebate. However, they are now saying there was no such rebate free vacation deal. They are now saying we were offered a hotel that was coveted under their listed options, but they never told us. Instead, they provided us with a list of upgrades that they didn't inform us of either. So, we basically had to pay the extra charges without being informed from the agent. We called to discuss, and they basically told us tough and nothing can be done. My suggestion is stay away from this company. They will charge you extra and are very vague with the trip charges as well as the receipts. They are also extremely rude and cold for customer service business
If you want to book a trip, do it yourself. You'll be better off.
