Great Wolf Lodge review: Inaccurate price on website confirmation number: 38562098

I went to book a stay at Great Wolf Lodge for this upcoming Month. I wanted to stay from 2/19-2/21. I went in picked the dates picked out my room and my total came to be $392.36. I then checked my confirmation email and was charged $850.16 This was extremely misleading. I called the location, and they went on about how you have to book 90 days our to receive that price. They then realized that was incorrect and they said that the price shouldn't be that and that their prices fluctuate and could have fluctuated by the time I ordered to the time it checked me out. All of this made no sense to me. The fact is that it is extremely misleading. I took a screen shot because I was able to generate the price again. William, the associate at GWL, told me there was nothing he could do and that I could either cancel or book at the $850.16 price. This just really bums me out that I go book the site tells me a price then over double charges me. It doesn’t seem right to me that my check out price would be $392.36 and then switch once I booked. It doesn’t seem like something a company like Great Wolf Lodge would do because prices fluctuate. Then to have no solution after taking an hour of my time. This just is not right.
