Global Tel Link review: Unable to use debit card to fund the inmates phone account

I currently have a phone account ending in (0703) for my brother who is serving time in Sumter CI, Bushnell, FL.

A couple of years ago I deposited money into the wrong GTL site, two different GTL companies on line at the time. I informed my bank, Wells Fargo of the mistake and requested they retract the $100 deposit from the incorrect GTL company account. Un be knowns to me at the time, Wells Fargo made the mistake of retracting the $100 deposit from the correct GTL account ending in (0703) which caused the account balance to go negative.

Since this incident I have had to fund the phone account using a Western Union money order. This has been an issue, please reference a previous complaint I filed several months ago on a $50 Western Union money order mailed January 2023 and cashed by GTL on January 27, 2023 with funds not being applied to my phone account. The problem has since been resolved after 8 months of persistence.

Due to thief and scammers the integrity of using the USPS in getting funds to to the PO Box for the Advance Pay Service Department located in Denver, CO is dicey to say the least. UPS and Fed Ex will not deliver to a PO Box address.

I ask your consideration to retract the current block on my GTL phone account to enable future payment using a Visa debit card.
