Bad bad bad
They keep saying “an email has been sent to reset your password” - then they just never send the email. I have requested an email reset about 20 times and they don’t send the mail, it doesn’t arrive, they do not send it. I’m locked out of my account and no way to get back in and I just keep getting a message that they sent a mail. I want my money and I probably won’t be able to get back in. NOPE.
0 STARS! STAY AWAY
This Wallet is terrible! Wish I could - stars! How does my password change on its own?! Created my wallet, logged in everyday with same password and then all of a sudden it just stops working and says ‘incorrect password.’ Now I’ve lost all my coins in this wallet. STAY AWAY. The the idiot support team tells me I must have forgotten my password. Absolutely not as I write down all of my passwords.
Classic Wallet Trap
At no time does Guarda or coinbase wallet explain that miner fees will withhold your funds until you have the set amount which is usually double the amount you are trying to move. All of these wallets are scams and I hope crypto fails miserably and that all the money that it funds for kidnapping, terrorism, sex trafficking, drug trafficking and whatever else all these crypto losers are into goes down harrrrrrrd.
Personally, not a good experience
If you’re a beginner, I would suggest looking somewhere else.
This wallet is complicated to understand. I also made the grave mistake of not checking the fee/byte. I ended up having a $11 network fee for a $30 transaction. By default, the fee is not included. Every time you send Bitcoin you need toggle that option on. I switched to a different wallet and had an instantly better experience.
On the bright side, the ui is pretty nice.
No AVAX or LINK on Mobile
Unlike their excellent desktop wallet, Guarda for iOS does not support either Avalanche or Chainlink (and likely several others are missing, too).
I log in to the desktop version and everything is fine. I log in on iOS and half my money seems missing.
Extremely disappointing and Guarda doesn’t even mention this on their mobile download page.
Once all major chains are added (come on, AVAX and LINK, guys!), I’ll happily update to a 5 Star review.
Stay away, this is could be a scam app
This app way too bad! I lost my money suddenly! I tried to log in and see my wallet as usual but unfortunately I didn’t see my money! When I contacted the support agent and asked him he said that he can’t help because I didn’t download the latest version of my update! I was able to see it for like 10 days then suddenly my money disappeared! I suspect that this is a scam app because most of the complaints here is about people bought assets then that assets disappeared and they can’t get it anymore!
Got robbed but guarda wallet made it right
The exchange is really sketchy I’m contacting support they give you a receipt for the amount of trade but trade comes back less that it shows

I contact the support team twice I reach yesterday again thru the app team member said they open a ticket and look at the situation but again it clearly gives me a amount set for the trade and I have traded in this platform 4 times first two not a problem third also not a problem even tho it didn’t happen bc the rate of doge coin was rapidly changing so they paused the trade until I confirm if it was ok to receive a different amount they actually did this twice bc the rate change that I eventually said if I could get it at the second rate to just refund which they did . The fourth complete mess took 4 days and was shorted with no warning hopefully this gets corrected and I get refunded the missing coins we will wait now for support open the ticket yesterday

I had left two star review. I was wrong. Turns out problem below is due to a limitation with older wallet protocol or something. Not that it matters. Garda has awesome free customer service. It supports garbage coins in addition to BTC. Too bad it doesn’t support BIP44 legacy import. Only option is to transfer my coins to new wallet and pay fees. Great customer service though. Best Multi-Coin Wallet I’ve Tried
This wallet met all the requirements I was looking for in a multi-coin wallet. I’ll list the pros and cons and you can decide if it meets, or doesn’t meet your needs.
Pros:
• Non-custodial: only you have the private keys. Guarda does not. I keep my keys and passwords in 1Password to make sure no one gets to them but me.
• Multi-platform: a desktop, mobile and light web version means I can check my wallets anywhere.
• Multi-Coin Support: almost all the coins and tokens I need to store are supported. As of this writing, Guarda does not support Solana although it on their roadmap.
• Staking: the desktop client allows me to stake my stacks-able coins. In my case, it is ADA. They also let me choose my stake pool and even offer their one.
Cons:
• Closed Source: Guarda is not OSS, meaning that should they shutter the project, the app will be dead. No one could fork it and continue development. Likewise, bring closed source, no one can look over their code to verify that their is nothing malicious. This is not a big deal to me, but it is to some.
• Not all major coins supported: as I noted above, one of the top 10 coins (Solana) is not yet supported. Not having a wallet available for one of the top 10 seems like a miss.

Worst crypto wallet/app/exchange out there
Insane fees, terrible user face, your crypto will randomly disappear too I've lost over 100 bucks with zero explanation. Only use Guarda if it's your only choice and you want to get involved in a specific coin. Can't believe the fees they take.

Your “temporary issue” has been for weeks now. I emailed asking about this and received no response and I have 2 exchanges that are now in limbo. Where is my money? Common sense: Do not allow people to make exchanges if your system is experiencing issues!

Downloaded the App because I figured it would be instant transfer exchange. FYI $50 BTC purchase is a $15 FEE. Is that a absolute joke? Even bad exchanges like CoinBase give you better rates.

Monero support down for over a month
I really liked the guarda wallet as it allowed me to see all of my custodial software wallets in one app. After the hard fork of monero xmr on August 13th that is no longer true. For over a month the monero wallets in this app have been broken showing incorrect balances.

Allows you to go through the entire purhaae including asking for card # and sending pin # the THEN tell you that you cannot purchase XRP.

Hidden exchange fees
Every time you exchange from one coin to another you loose around 7%. At least in my case I did. There’s no point to using this service unless you’re gonna invest in 1 crypto only. I can’t seem to find where is says how much fees are on exchanges but I loose so much money whenever I do.

Not sure what’s wrong w this wallet. But it has taken 10 days. and still zero confirmations from trying to send bnb coin to bnb platform in the USA and it shows the funds are no longer there but nothings in my binance account still. How long does it take for these conformations ? Thanks

I transferred $58 of TRON here only to convert it to BNB and transfer it back you will have to pay $22 to transfer the tokens to another wallet after doing a swap it’s not worth it I do not recommend this wallet to anyone I have to make a deposit to swap the token to another token also minimum fee of $10 that’s a rip off

Lots of restrictions
Careful with this wallet. I sent some coins to test it out..first, everything was smooth. Until I tried to exchange. Then their is no pairs to exchange with bsv. Support said it was their partners fault..next xrp requires 20 to stay in the wallet at all times. So I have $7 in the wallet that I can never withdraw lol this is a joke

Won't Process My Payments
I don't know if it's a bug or a processing error, but I've been trying to buy and I'll get to the verification step where I used my phone number, and it keeps popping up with an error and to try again. Extremely difficult to use and unnecessary fees
The app makes you deposit high amounts of money in order to use it and if you want to do actions like converting or buying there is a ridiculously high fee. They also don’t allow you to sell, you have to transfer your crypto to another platform to sell it. They don’t let you transfer to other platforms unless you change your settings and pay a very high fee
