I have rang on several occasion over the past week regarding Services on my Computer and left messages but GuruAid do not respond to my telephone calls.
I would like to get a refund for the remainder of my payment which is a couple of years left.
I had to get repair and service done privately and that has cost me over £50.00.
I also notice every time I did contact them in the past, they always ask for more payment to extend my contract for a year or two.

What is the point of their service?
Their technicians think they are the smartest ones.
I told them about my problem in details. I did all possible things to make my laptop work because I am not stupid and understand something as well. When I understood that nothing helped me, I called them for some ideas. Of course, I paid. So they hard my story and all of those small details including the actions I took to make the laptop work, but they started to advise me to do exactly the same like they didn't hear what I just said.
They offered all of the things I had already done and gave me no new idea. They didn't care if I told them that I tried my best and tried all known methods, they still told me to do the same again.
Stupid people earning their money for nothing.

People, the company www.guruaid.cod.com tried to scam me. We agreed that I would pay them in two payments. I made the first in advance and the second I would provide only after I would get the order. I waited 4 weeks and suddenly received the message from the seller, who excused and told that the order couldn’t be delivered on agreed day. But no explanation why. Stay away from these unreliable guys.

I contacted Guruaid.com on line when I was trying to get help in setting up a Microsoft Outlook e-mail account. A technician stated that my problem was malicious files on my computer. When I asked about informing my provider, MacAfee the technician said it wasn’t necessary his company is affiliated with MacAfee. He said the fee for removing the malicious files was $120 so I might as well subscribe for their yearly service for $159.00. After paying the fee the technician supposedly removed the files. I then asked again about setting up the Outlook e-mail account. While the technician, Kevin Smith, attempted to do so I saw that the software on my computer had expired. He then proceeded to set up a hotmail.com e mail account. After disconnecting with him I discovered that the so called malicious files were still on my computer.

So I did not get the Outlook e-mail and the dangerous files were not removed. I asked Guruaid.com for a refund by telephone and the chat.. I was told Marshall would call me back. He did not. I called again and was disconnected..The next day 9/20/11 I contacted the headquarters in Connecticut. A woman stated there was no customer service in that office and she would take the information. She stated that she already heard the complaint I left on the voice mail. She said I should wait because India was in a different time zone. No one called. I called Guruaid again and asked or demanded a refund. I was told someone would call me back. No one called.
