I've been refused access to my account. I've called and spoken to about 7 (seven) or more of your customer care agents nearly 10x since the last one week and have not been able to get the issue resolved instead they keep making me go through the same process (signing in, resetting account login details, downloading and uninstalling the Halifax bank bank app) each and every single time. After I reset my login details I get taken to a page where it says that Halifax will call me to verify my details then they give me a code but the call never comes through after a while the page refreshes again and takes me to another page displaying a message that says that Halifax is unable cannot call me to verify my details but that I can call Halifax with the reference displayed. This has become an endless cycle that I can't seem to get past. When I complain they place me on hold for long and without saying a word until my airtime runs out.
I now live outside the United kingdom which makes calling Halifax bank very expensive. so far I've spent over 90minutes altogether on mobile to landline call from Nigeria to the UK which is very expensive and yet the issue has not been resolved.
The issue now is that after resetting my login details and I get to the part where I'm supposed to get a call from Halifax, the call never comes through. One might ask whether my contact number is correct. I've received calls from Halifax in the past so yes the number is correct matter of fact, I even confirmed the same number to about 3 of the agents I spoke with yesterday
Desired outcome: I want to gain access to my account ASAP so that I can make use of the money in my account. I have urgent personal needs I need money to take care of
