I made an appointment days In advanced. Was told could not make appointment a hour past my schedauled time. I had to call to ask if he was going to make it? Still awaiting a reschedule? Unprofessional so far...
This is the most unprofessional roofing company out there
This is the most unprofessional roofing company out there. A guy named *** came to inspect my roof. We had a very bad wind storm and he denied the claim on top of he cussed at me in front of my daughter. HORRIBLE company
Do not let these people anywhere on or around your property. I had huge tree branches blown up against my skirting and siding clearly due to high winds and the guy did not even report it at all. Said everything just fine, nothing to see here. You can look around the whole neighborhood in clearly see debris all over the place due to wind, hell, and rain. What good does it do to have homeowners insurance if these are the kind of people they send out to assess your damage? What a scam.
Just flat out lied. I got pictures to prove. Told State F I only had five bad shingles. State f*** Insurance is not much better.
Terrible. I should have listened to my neighbors and not allow them to get on my roof. Only one star reviews should tell you. They should not be in this business.
Unfortunately its not an option to rate this company a zero! Do not ever use this company if your insurance company says they contract with them to handle claims. A contractor was supposed to come out Friday. Never called to tell us he wasnt coming and never showed. We called every day from Friday to Monday. They told us each day someone would be contacting us to confirm our next appointment. We were also promised a new contractor. Monday night, we call after the lapsed time of the contractor not contacting us to confirm the time he should be coming out Tuesday. The person my husband spoke to hung up on him twice and never answered any questions or allowed him to speak to a supervisor after he asked several times. When he called back, he was finally able to speak to a team lead, who was also extremely rude, never answered any questions and never resolved the issue of finding a new contractor. We have damage to our house, have now had to take off work several days and this company has caused more issues instead of resolving any. We have now had to contact our insurance company again to try to get someone else out. It should not be this difficult for these individuals to do their job. We have all specific names and will be contacting their corporate office tomorrow. Again I say, never ever use this company.
This company is not even licensed!
This company is not even licensed! Make sure you don't let these people on your roof. They work will Allstate and they deny all claims. This guy was on my roof for a total of 2 minutes and said there was damage but reported to my insurance company that there was no damage and denied my claim.
AND EVEN *** USES THESE JACK LEGGED PICTURE TAKERS/ NOT ADJUSTERS. THEY ONLY SPEND 10 TO 15 MINUTES AND HURRY TO THE NEXT CLAIM. THESE LADDER ASSIST COMPANIES LIKE HANDCOCK ARE GIVING TBESE HOMEOWNER INSURANCE COMPANIES A TERRIBLE NAME. GOING THE CHEAP WAY OUT TO DENY UNTRAINED PEOPLE TO TAKE PICTURES WITH NO DECISION MAKING ABILITIES. *** IS A WASTE OF TIME AND DENY ALL HAIL CLAIMS...DO NOT LET *** ON YOUR PROPERTY. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

I could see right through their whole game. Obviously very uneducated about the proper terminology for typical construction materials and installation procedures. SHE expected that a contractor should replace 150 shingles scattered around the roof of my home. Since they discontinued my color, I'd be the laugh of the neighborhood. It would also reduce the value of my property significantly. Also, my window sashes are not "Wrap around trim covers that just snaps on".
Absolutely terrible company
Absolutely terrible company. Wouldn't know storm damage if it happened right in front of them. The most recent rep we dealt with even lied to the insurance carrier stating my company's rep agreed with him. He stated they got onto all slopes of the roof (this was a tree that fell on the house)- they didn't. negative 1 star would be a better rating
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
The worst company to deal with and they create a reason to deny the home insurance claim.
Most of the employees are rude and have too much attitude.
When we had a 70mph gust storms in the area and most of the houses were damaged by the wind storm, how can you not have any wind damages on the roof?
Especially its Certainteed 3 tab horizon shingles and it had problems from the manufacturer to begin with. The house has many leaks on the ceilings that happened throughout the courses of the wind storms. Their observation and reason is Mechanical damages.
Are you joking?
This kind of company should not be in business. Every house they inspect will not be covered under the insurance coverage if the insurance company believes their decisions.
*** is The worst company to work with and they have so bad employees.
Worst Claim Company in DFW . 3 roofs, all had obvious damage, Ryan near Mckinney denied all 3 - Complete Idiot !
This is the company insurers tell to go deny the claim. They excel at that.
I have many cracked and lifted shingles, even a missing shingle with the nails showing, still shiny. They denied the claim, telling me that there was not enough damage to even cover the deductable.

After a rocky start with the inspector (Robert) being late and little communication ,I was satisfied with the inspection that Robert completed. He was on my roof for over 2 hours inspecting, measuring, and documenting the damage or lack there of. I have a roof with 10/12 and 12/12 pitch making the inspection more difficult and he made every effort to look at it all.
Not even worth 1 star
Not even worth 1 star. Was over 2 hours late to our appointment, and no one at the office responded to multiple phone calls. I did eventually get a response to an email trying to determine if he was even coming.
When Did finally arrive was EXTREMELY RUDE, to the point were I didn't even feel comfortable getting a quote from him (Michael). When called the office to complain, there was no answer (again).
Most terrible unprofessional experience
Most terrible unprofessional experience. I know was wind and storm damage that moved the wood on my roof yet he is trying to act like not a weather event. You can't tell me I hear a popping sound in the middle of a storm then the roof started leaking. Common sense must prevail. When I saw pictures I was even more convinced of weather related damage. The man was rude, tried to get out of agreed upon times.Very obnoxious worker.

The guy that came out to look at the roof was more than 2 hours late, to begin with so he was there the same time I had my roofing contractor there. In the end my contractor said new roof due to wind damage, the other guy from hancock said it was caused by the way it was installed so they are not going to cover it. I am not a happy camper on this long story short my insurance company is looking into over turning the denial of my claim.
Wish me luck

Unprofessional and refused to document actual damage
Unprofessional and refused to document actual damage. When asked questions they turned and walked off. It is clear they get incentives to falsify damage for state farm. If they come on your property call the cops because you are fixing to get done dirty. They make it look like they take a lot of pictures but the damage is conveniently cropped out. If you have hancock and a state farm claims adjuster by the name of *** you might as well get an attorney because these 2 will lie and falsify damage. State Farm and Hancock are the *** of insurance
Hand I know roofing inspectors NEVER find damage, they are used by the worst insurance company's who don't want to pay claims
Hand I know roofing inspectors NEVER find damage, they are used by the worst insurance company's who don't want to pay claims. In my development in top of the world indigo East has 14 homes with hail damage even though all the homes with the exception of American Integrity insurance ( 2 homes) we're inspected an hail damage was noted an the owners are getting roof replaced, Hancock inspector on the 2 AII insured homes could not ( would not) find roof shingle damage even after seeing vent pipes cap with dents, dish ant with hail hits, It is obvious they work for American Integrity Insurance which has bad reviews just like Hancock. I strongly recommend anyone who has American Integrity Insurance and any thing to do with Hancock roofing run away they should be investigated for fraud.

My experience with handcock claims has been everything but reasonable
My experience with handcock claims has been everything but reasonable. I am a contractor in the DMV area and have dealt with Handcock Claims a handful of times. My most recent experience which I am still trying to hash out has been horrible. Firstly they gave me a window of 3 hours for the first scheduled adjustment. I sat with our mutual client outside for the entire 3 hours waiting on the adjuster. About 30 minutes after the scheduled time, the adjuater calls and states that he will be another 2 hours to which we were forced to reschedule as my client had prior engagements. The morning of the rescheduled date I call and wait on hold for 30 minutes trying to get the inspectors name so we do not have to go through the same process. Once i finally get an operator she explains that the rescheduling was submitted but not dispatched. This is 30 minutes before the SECOND 3 hour window they have given me for this client. If I would not have reached out, I would have sat with my client for another 3 hours wasting his time as well as my own. If you receive an adjustment with Handcock Claims I would emediatly deny and request a different agency. I have delt with multiple ladder assist, and independent adjusting firms and I have to say Handcock is above all the worst.

Hancock Claims Associates Complaints 2
I had a claim with State Farm for wind and hail damage to my home in March
I had a claim with State Farm for wind and hail damage to my home in March . They sent Hancock Claims to inspect my home. Robert *** came to check it out on 3/22. My roofer and I met him there. My roofer had marked the damage on my roof. We showed the inspector missing shingles, hail damage to the roof, window, gutter, and screens. He told us he saw all the damage. He even showed me hail splatter hits on the siding of my home and said he found hail damage on my roof. But then Hancock submitted a report to State Farm that said there was NO damage to my home (see attached). This has caused me a lot of problems with my claim. How can they say there's no damage when there clearly is? I've attached the report and some photos that show the damage. I tried to get an explanation from Russ ***, but he said it's a "coverage issue". Hancock hasn't been any help.
My house been insured with Hancock Claims Associates since Jan 1st 2022
My house been insured with Hancock Claims Associates since Jan 1st 2022. Policy been paid for in full for the entire year. On 6/17/2022 there was a hail storm in my neighborhood/area, which caused moderate to severe hail damage to multiple homes. Dom Roofing inspected the roof and confirmed hail damage. Mercury was contacted on 6/18, they sent a third party, Hancock Inspections, to inspect the roof. Inspection was done on 6/22. Sure enough, they "did not" find any hail damage because they were not there to find any damage to begin with. Apparently, Hancock is known to be extremely favorable to insurance companies and the answer to consumers, like me, with severe hail damage on my roof, would be always a big NO. I contacted Claim Cops, a public adjuster company, and they did notice hail damage on my roof. They also noticed hail/storm on weather report for that specific date. To prove the point, at least 4 other homes within my neighborhood alone did end up getting their roofs replaced because of this very hail storm recently through their insurance providers. The roofing company, my public adjuster and myself have been trying to get in touch with adjuster, and his supervisor, to arrange a re-inspection, they simply ignore all calls, emails and text messages. Insurance adjuster, uses his personal cellphone, so there will be no trace of incoming calls. All I need at this point is a fair reinspection that I am legally entitled to as a resident of that can be present. I would strongly suggest the and Safety of the State to immediately launch an investigation and look into Hancock Inspection to evaluate the handling of every claim that have processed, as I strongly believe they go above and beyond to get insurance companies contracts and avoid paying consumers what they deserve.
