On Tuesday, November 19, 2024 I went to Hartford Hospital emergency room as I could not breathe. I arrived approximately 7pm that night and thank God I was given a breathing treatment in the ambulance and IV and was taken care of very well from the ambulance people. Well I got to the emergency room and was put against the wall for hours. I was coughing and I could NOT breathe. Finally after waiting about 9 hours I screamed "I NEED HELP". Some middle aged white lady with a pad in her hand said to me nastily "What do you want?"... I looked at her and said I can't breathe. Well, I kept screaming until someone finally took me to a room and gave me a mask and treatment. Then about 4am in the morning I was taken to a room just down the hallway. Needless to say the
ER room was packed with all old people lined up against the walls. Needless to say I was so uncomfortable it was awful. Then in my other room I asked for a feminine pad and whoever it was said they don't have any. So she says to me so "you are just going to wet the bed pad?" I said well you don't have any pads. She just walked away. Then finally Thursday I went to the 12th floor and was there until I left. It was awful, all the nurses were so busy and short handed I ended up getting water from the sink in the room. Then going home they lost my North Face Coat gold pin in the collar with an angel on it, shoes and shirt. I went home in the hospital socks in the pouring rain.
Claimed loss: North Face Coat, gold pin in the collar with an angel on it, shoes and shirt.
