Also come to find out they were an "for profit school!" after I enrolled, did my fafsa application, I was told I needed a student loan to cover costs. I believed them, the school was advertised over the local tv stati ons which led me to believe the legitimacy of said school. Fast forward, I never received my "diploma" for completing the medical assistant program. I had explained I wanted to pursue the "x ray technician program" well to my dismay the "counselor" assigned to me explained it was currently full, do the medical assistant program until I could transfer majors then as the experience would further my skill set as an x ray tech. Not coinciding curriculum. So no diploma, no placement after graduation as promised, couldn't transfer credits as I was told I would be able to if I chose to further my education in the health field. Now the school was closed so I can not request any of my records. Last I heard hi tech institute was now replaced or renamed (unsure which at this point) anthem college. I lost more than I gained - student debt that I refused at first but my counselor insisted with my new degree &salary from my new career that loan would be taking care of quite quickly. I can not request my records for any of my schooling. Locating my loan became a hassle, wanting to further my education now,
Desired outcome: I am requesting some action taken/filed/dismissal of any aquired monetary hassles to be null and void. Lawsuit even.
