I had a bad experience with Home Living Furniture. They gave me the wrong furniture and now they won't give me my money back even though they took the furniture back. Customer service was terrible.

omg, i cant even believe how bad this place is. i spent like 4500 bucks there less than a year ago and everything is already falling apart. the dining room table is like the worst quality ever. but you know what's even worse? they didnt even bother to respond to my emails asking for help. like, seriously? dont even bother with this place. just stay away.

Vijay at Home Living Furniture was super helpful with my phone order. Communication was great! The thing I ordered came real quick and when they said it would (straight from the maker, ***). The delivery people were cool, nice, and professional. We ain't gonna use it for a few months so we're keeping it in the original box. Vijay said we could hit him up if we have any problems with the maker later on, but we don't think we will since *** packed it up real good. We're happy with the service, stuff, and prices at Home Living Furniture.

I got a sofa from Home Living Furniture like 5 years ago. After a year, the two reclining chairs started giving us trouble. We got a warranty from Guardian through HLF. They sent a mechanic after a month of complaining and he fixed it. But it broke down again. They came again and said they couldn't get the parts and it would take time. We had two mechanics at the house and they couldn't fix it. I called Home Living Furniture and I'm not getting anywhere. I talked to Veejay who can't solve the problem and is avoiding phone calls. I spent over $4500 on this piece of furniture and got no help from the *** or the manufacturer. I'm probably going to hire a lawyer and sue them for damages. What a nightmare!

I ordered an outdoor patio set from Home Living Furniture on May 1st. They said it might come earlier, but to be ready for Late July. I called them multiple times, first on July 30th when I told Vijay I would give it another month. I called again at the end of August, and he said he would call the vendor and call me back, but he never did. I called the following week and a woman answered, she said she would make sure it was followed up on, but one week later, nothing. I sent an email requesting cancellation and paid ***.

I got a problem with Home Living Furniture. They ain't been getting back to me about a messed up dresser I got from them. The top of the chest of drawers got some deep scratches on it. I sent them pictures and they ain't said nothing back. Plus, the delivery guys scratched up my new oak floor on the stairs and put a dent in another plank by dropping a heavy dresser on it. All I got was a "sorry to hear that". I want them to hit me up and let me know when they gonna bring me a new dresser. And they better tell me if they gonna fix the messed up chest of drawers or just give me a new one.

I bought a furniture from home living furniture on August 4 and paid for it. They delivered it on November 7, Sunday at 10 pm, and the piece was broken. They left half of the furniture here and took the broken piece with them without unpacking the rest. Inevitably, the piece they left here was also broken. I contacted them on November 8, 12, 15, and 16 without any resolution. So, I contacted them today asking for a refund. The guy I talked to said his manager would call me. I asked the manager's name, but he didn't know it. All I want is a refund of $1264.20 plus shipping. I am 60 years old, and this is the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer.

After arguing, they said they would be there at 8am the next morning. They called at 7 and we called back at 7:30. But they didn't show up until 1pm, 5 hours later. We had already left for the day.

They said it would take 8-10 weeks, but I had to pick new fabric for the pillows on December 14th because the original was "out of stock." I called in January and they said it wasn't delayed, but then the next week they said it was delayed another 8 weeks until April. I asked for a refund, but they said it was against policy since it was custom. I called again on March 11th and no one knew what was happening. The manager, VEEjay, offered a loaner couch or for me to pick another couch that could ship quickly. I wanted an update on my couch, but was told my salesperson Ron needed to speak to me. Ron called on March 13th to say it was delayed until mid July because of missing foam and screws. I demanded a refund, but Ron said he couldn't make that decision and would get back to me on Monday. If they haven't even made my custom couch and the manager was willing to cancel my order, I should get my $2000 deposit back.

I cancelled my order in mid-Sept because it was past the delivery date. They said the items were in-transit and would be shipped soon. But when I asked on 29Sept, they said it would take another 30 days for White Glove delivery. I was worried about the delay and they said they could expedite it for more money. I got 2 boxes on 5Oct and 3 more on 6Oct. They were in bad shape and not signed for. The chairs were damaged and I sent pictures to HLF. I asked about assembly (which I paid for) and they said it was my responsibility. I talked to the manager, Vijay, and he was defensive and called me names. He promised a $200 refund but I never got it. He also said my assembly damaged the chairs in a hostile email on 13Oct.

This is not a 599.00 item from *** I live alone with no pets and I work all day so it gets vey little use!. I called Home Furniture who I was very happy with the purchase and the lady was very nice and asked that I take photos and email them and they would obtain some fill and refill the arms. Well I can buy fill on *** and have it here tomorrow. SMH. Pictures emailed May 27th She responded OK I got them. I emailed again on May 28th June 19th and June 26th Nothing but Crickets!
