I had finished my task in Hulu for 40, 914 credits, I put all the information in, as I was getting it processed for a little bit, I finished. So I was satisfied and started watching some shows, I never cancelled right away . Anyways that's when I came back to imvu an 2-3 hours later and my credits weren't there, I was very upset, I complained but nothing happened, even though I finished my task.

I have two homes - one in houston and one in austin. When subscribing I saw that there could be 2 users at a time which is fine. But when going to austin with my roku ultra and connecting to hulu live tv I was prompted to "make this my home location" which I did and then the message that I had used 1 out of 4 location changes and I only have 4 location changes a year. This is one of the most disgusting issues I have encountered. Why only 4 changes a year when I have to login into hulu anyway? Absolutely ridiculous! What are the admin folks at hulu thinking that this is an item to enforce - how dumb. And, why is this when paying for a service that one cannot use in two locations. What difference does it make to hulu where one watches their programing. Yes, the local channels are involved but I would rather just watch the local channels on the digital antenna and not at all on hulu live tv. It's sad to see such a large company have such stupid individuals running it. No wonder at&t wanted out of hulu.
live stream buffering
Please fix your live stream buffering! You've raised your rates — what for? We are getting worse service than before. Shame on you. Last night — 3-06-19, I finally just turned it off because buffering was happening 20+ times. I will go elsewhere if you don't do something about this. There are plenty of other reviews about this same issue, so I know this is not just me. You don't get a raise for substandard work. The buffering issue is still happening on 3-07-19.
hulu is racist
On feb 1 hulu added "celebrating black stories" without a stop suggesting or remove button. Lineup is the first page that starts on a mobile device and guess what.. That page pops up first.. Every time.
It is the only page that does not have a stop suggesting or remove button in the entirety of the content list. This is racism and censorship at its best. Not because I said something but because hulu has chosen to offer no choice to consumers on this page and this page singles out race defined by color - racism and offensive - and because every other page in the entirety of hulu's content list has a choice but this one - censorship.

I agree. It is segregation and racism at it's finest. They round up all the movies with black people in them, and put them in a separate category. They might as well just make a "Hulu Black" for just the black people and a "Hulu White" for just white people. It is exactly the same as making "whites only" drinking fountains.

Your subscription options suck! If I'm paying for it at all then there shouldn't be any damn commercials! Vudu is absolutely friggin free and has way less commercials than Hulu! If I wanted to watch 4 min of commercials in a 20 min show I would just watch regular television! Have one subscription price or figure out some other option of features to deprive your lower paying customers of instead of wasting their time!

I am not pleased at all about the way the Hulu service is performing. Every time I go to click on something it tells me it's having trouble loading. I have tried to open some shows several times in a row with the same results. Or either I open it and I have to keep logging back in over and over again. I'm paying Hulu money for nothing. I was very satisfied with Hulu and all of a sudden it went bonkers. What's going on? It doesn't save my shows anymore and I've tried resetting. It used to be a pleasure going to Hulu but now it's a chore and who's got the time to search all over for the show I want. I've been watching more and more Acorn the last couple of weeks and always find something new and for $4.99 a month I don't mind searching. Get with the program Hulu before you start losing customers.

I know that there is a 98% chance that nobody is reading this and this Is a useless attempt. However, I am angry, so I had to try.
I am writing this complaint to address the lack of user friendly service. I am going to compare Hulu to Netflix — on Netflix, everything is very simple, easy to use, completely user friendly. However, on Hulu, it took me weeks to figure out how to see every episode listed and find the particular one I wanted. The way to find said access is completely unexpected. It requires one to hold the Enter button for a while. How am I, or any other person, supposed to figure that out?
I guarantee if the company were to make this process simpler, as a whole, it would redeem a higher customer rating, and therefore higher customer acquisition. I know that changing this method of access is not exceptionally difficult for Hulu; and I, and SEVERAL of my friends, have faced this frustrating issue one too many a time.
Before we cancel our service, please do your best to change your user experience. Making the entire process easier — e.g. a Netflix structure — would attract a wider audience of various demographics.
Again, I know this is most probably a complete waste of my time. However, I hope, that in some miracle, this is heard by the ears of a person who cares.

missing points
I joined Hulu April 20 but never received the 5000 bonus points.
I have sent several missing points requests.
Same thing happened when I joined Disney movie club months ago. I never got my points even tho I sent several emails to my points.
Please advise. It makes me not to want to use my points and it's promotions any more as it seems like the requests for missing points are been ignored.
overload of commercials!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the overload of commercials before and during programing. I have on average between programing viewed no less than 8 commercials. Before you can watch a show it is normal that I forget what I am trying to watch. The advertisements last for up to five (5) minutes. It is obvious you want to charge people to limit the commercials by making us pay more for this service. I am only one person so I'm sure this will continue. I will note, that if and when enough people are aware of this greed and lack of consideration you will undoubtedly change. I will change to another provider soon and will only regard you as I have so many other business models designed at making more money. History! Good luck with your service and constant buffering. I will not recommend you to anyone and will make it my mission to tell everyone I know of your dismal attempt to make money with your average of 25 commercials crammed into a 21 minute sitcom.
I have no problems with the number of commercials .What I am getting sick of is hulu commercials using 110% bandwidth while playing. A 20 second commercial takes 3 minutes to load sometimes.I know your advertisers want the full HD treatment so we can all see their brand of dog arthritis treatment in blistering full definition but fer crissake why 240 kbs to play a commercial...
the streaming service never works
When I first got Hulu the excuse the streaming service didn't work is because I needed to download Internet Explorer as my browser. It would work for a little while then stop working. So the excuse was I needed to download firefox. It worked for a little while then stopped working again. Then the excuse was I need to download Chrome.
I'm so over this company. They continue to charge me for a service I can't render. How it possible a streaming service company can't f* hire developers to build a better streaming platform!

I upgraded to the 43.99 no commercial plan and have been forced to watch 15-20 commercials during a one hour show. I've tried to go back to the other plan and it doesn't give me the option.
The Hulu help page doesn't even work and when I've tried to call the wait time is in excess of an hour.
If something isn't done soon I will go back to cable, which I stopped over two years ago.
I have the same problem and will probably soon cancel Hulu. I pay for the no commercial plan, and get more commercials than network ever thought about. One 30 minute show had at least 15 commercials. Lousy commercials too. So my question to you, Hulu, is when will you start listening to you customers and do something about this? I really liked it, never regretted I spent some money to get the best service from them. On the other websites I saw many complaints regarding the new update, so I will be one of those people who really disappointed with what you did to the app. It's terrible, guys. Not everything in this world is in need of an update.
Now the app is buggy, takes forever to load the pages. It's beyond irritating, it's something more.

People, avoid the website www.huluplus.com. I used it within two weeks, but I stopped. The website didn’t show movie or TV programs all the time, every 5-10 minutes it stopped to work at all. Once it hadn’t worked for 20 minutes. Total scam. I simply stopped to visit the website and closed my account there. It was horrible to watch and after that wait for the picture to appear. Awful website.

labeling dubbed/subbed anime
I do really love hulu, and I love the strides that they have taken with anime distribution companies in order to make anime more available to a wider audience. One thing that does bug me about their practices is how they go about separating dubbed anime and anime only with subtitles. There is no checkbox in the search options that I have found, and when on a show's page, the dubbed and subbed versions are no longer segregated. When a viewer is looking for a specific version, it is extremely aggravating to have to sit through four ad blocks just because the viewer clicked on the incorrect version of the episode to start with. A mere wrong click isn't the issue--it's that I have to get through the opening ad, the opening credits, the second ad, and then hear two seconds of audio to realize my issue. It would be great if I could just take half a second to read "Subtitled version, " or even head off the issue by searching only for "Dubbed." The attached picture shows an episodes list, with two unlabeled versions of every single episode.

Hulu started by been a great sours to watch TV. The practice that they have by trying to push you to add the adds is terrible, they started to manipulate your shows so you accept it. This is not a good practice and I do not recommend Hulu to anyone.

While attempting to watch an episode of a TV show on Hulu.com, I attempted to pause the program. Instead of pausing by pressing the space bar, which usually works. Instead, the program jumped to an earlier part of the show, without pausing. I then tried to return the progress indicator to where I had been before. At this point, I was given an extra commercial to watch. I then tried to make a small adjustment, moving the indicator a minute forward, within the same intra-commercial region, and was forced to watch another commercial - the same commercial I had just watched. Hulu was punishing me with commercials and my negative feelings about Hulu have been transferred to the advertiser.

There are way too many ads under the paid subscription. It's ridiculous the ads are like 6 minutes long in total. You watch 2 minutes of your show then 6 minutes worth of ads with all this money I paid! The worst!

Tried watching the US Open (golf) and it kept cutting out so I missed most of 2-7:30 coverage. I had to go to Roku and watch USGA to only watch featured groups. Very disappointing.
Hulu recently changed the user format of their network . It is awful. Its is time consuming, confusing and frustrating. The fact that I have to get past "my profile" and then the welcome screen every time I log into Hulu, is a nuisance. The old one worked fine. I would like the ability to use the old format.
