this company is fraudulant and misleadin. dont do any biz with them. they falsify docs and never reply.

Hunt & Henriques is a law firm that serves court papers. They claim to have served the papers, but they actually just left them at the doorstep. They filed the wrong proof of service at court. Now, I have to file a motion of service and send a letter to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office.

This company is not trustworthy at all. They cheat their clients and use the court system to bully and harass people. They also falsify court documents and records. They have been sued in federal court several times for breaking state and federal laws. Stay away from them at all costs.

I got a lawyer who "made a deal" and I started paying every month. But after a year of paying on time, they put a lien on my property. Now I gotta go to court and I don't even know why since we already settled. They won't talk to me about why they did it. It's messed up because I don't work and can't afford a good lawyer who knows what to do. These guys are not cool and don't play fair.

Hunter and Henriques are the worst debt buyers ever! They are so shady and predatory. They did something really evil during the pandemic in 2020. They sent people to serve papers door to door, even though we were all supposed to be staying home. I don't even owe the debt, but they kept coming to my house and bothering me and my family. We have disabled and sick people living here, so it was really dangerous for strangers to be coming to our door. They don't care about anyone's health or safety. They just want to make money off of people who are struggling. It's not fair! Even the credit card companies were trying to help people during the pandemic, but not Hunter and Henriques. They just wanted to make things worse for everyone. I hope they go to *** for what they did.

Hunt & Henriques called my work phone and told my coworkers I owed them money. They kept calling my cell phone too, which was super annoying. They need to chill out with the scare tactics. Can someone help me out here?

I said I'd pay $75 every 2 weeks, but I've been paying $75 every week. Then I lost my job and told them I've been waiting 7 weeks for unemployment. They lied on court papers and said I'd pay $250 a month.

My accunt was sent to these peeps from *** has a law firm that is supposed to collect a debt and I been callin them for months to try to pay it and I continuously get pushed around stating that I am not in their system and they have yet to set up my accunt. This is affectin my credit if their job is to collect my money and what I'm tryna do is pay them then they should be anxious to do their job right.

I left my house 'cause it wasn't done being built and had dangerous construction issues like mold. This collection company didn't serve me 'cause I live in a bad area where there's homeless everywhere, even in my yard. I had mold stackibotris and major construction problems from the builders and I had to lawsuit them and I couldn't live there. Last month the builders decided to fix it all. I put the house up for sale, sold it, and went into title to find out this company Hunt had obtained a judgement falsely. They never served me and I didn't know. I wasn't living there until last month. I want them to remove there lien.

This company sayin' I owe them some debt. When I said it wasn't mine, they sent me some info in the mail. Turns out, it was opened in somebody else's name for a credit card. I called 'em up to report fraud, but they didn't do nothin'. They still sayin' it's my debt even though somebody else's name is on it. I want this fake account off my credit report 'cause it's messin' up my score. I might have to get a lawyer involved and talk to the attorney general.

Hunt & Henriques lawyers ain't that great. The lady at the front desk wanted my social security number, but I ain't giving that out. They messed up serving papers and left them at my doorstep instead of giving them to a person. I'm gonna file a motion to fix that. This law firm has a lot of bad reviews. I asked to talk to the manager and some guy named *** answered. He just recorded what I was saying and said the lawyer *** ain't available to call me back. I even sent a letter to the LA district attorney's office. Don't waste your time with these guys.

This law office, Hunt & Henriques, is a total scam. They work with judges who are paid off to file fake documents in court without notifying the defendant. They did this to me in a case with Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC. I had no idea there was even a case against me until they suddenly filed a judgement. I couldn't do anything about it, and they knew that, along with the judge who accepted their fake documents. This isn't the first time they've gotten away with this, but they messed with the wrong person this time. I have evidence that the documents they submitted are fake, and they'll be prosecuted for it. They have no proof that Portfolio Recovery Associates is the legal owner of the original creditor's account, and the documents they submitted to their judge friend are total fakes. Law enforcement will be reaching out to them soon.

I got a problem with *** & ***. They sent me a letter saying I owe them $***. But I already told them on January 4 that the debt they said I had was wrong and couldn't be checked. I said they should stop trying to collect it and stop telling people about it. But on February 23, they sent me another letter saying they might take me to court and make me pay. They said they were doing it for their client ***, but that client already gave up on the debt. So I want *** & *** to stop telling people about the debt, stop trying to collect it, and not take me to court because the debt was wrong and couldn't be checked.

I had a problem with this law firm. They were hired to go to court for *** and they garnished my wages until the account was paid in full. My wages were no longer garnished after it was paid. I recently applied for an equity line on my house and found out that this law firm never released the lien on my house. I called *** and they sent me an email showing that I had $0 balance. I contacted the law firm and they claim that I still owe *** close to $700. I told the woman on the phone that I had an email from *** saying I did not owe them anything, and she kept saying that she didn't believe me. She also said it would take them at least 30 days to investigate it, and there was nothing I could do about it. They are holding up my loan process because of their fraudulent, incompetent practices. I spoke to a supervisor and he gave me an email to forward the *** doc.

I been payin' a debt they bought for almost two years now. Since the beginnin', I been tellin' them that I moved outta state, givin' them my current address. They refuse to change it in their system. For the first year I was gettin' a monthly statement of fees paid with the current balance. This letter was bein' forwarded by the US Postal Service 'cause they kept mailin' it to my old address in California. That forwardin' service expired in April and I haven't received a statement since. I have emailed them with NO response. I have called them and they say they show my address in Oregon so they don't know why letters were bein' mailed to the address in California. My emails were sent to *** and ***@hunthenriques.com. These emails were sent on 8/30, 9/20, 10/16, 1/26, 2/10 and again today. I made several phone calls between August and October XXXXX regarding this issue. They have an obligation to provide me statements.

This place was hired by *** to collect some money and they went ahead and garnished my wages. I tried to pay them so I wouldn't have to pay extra fees, but they said no. They started taking money out of my paycheck on Dec. 15, 2021 for $484.55, then again on Dec. 29, 2021 for $483.19, and then again on Jan. 12, 2022 for about the same amount. But on Jan. 8, 2022, the credit people said I still owed the same amount and hadn't paid anything. I called my payroll people and the Sheriff to make sure they sent the money, and then I emailed Hunt & Henriquez twice to ask what was going on. They didn't answer, so I called them and they said they got my emails and were looking into it. I asked them what they were looking into, and they said they didn't know because they couldn't see my account. They said it was "under review" but didn't say why. I asked when they would know something, and they said they didn't know. I called them again and got the same answer. They still haven't updated my account even though I've sent them four payments and my payroll people have receipts. The credit people still say I owe the same amount. It's not fair that they took my money and won't tell me what's going on.
