I was informed by Hunter Express that our large package would be delivered between 2pm and 3pm last Wednesday. There were plenty of people at the business during this time. However, I received a message with a photo of our business door that was taken at 5.20pm (took me a while to determine this). Our business, like many similar businesses, closes at 4pm.
I spent quite some time looking for a phone number or email to contact anyone about the delivery but there was nothing on their communications! So frustrating! A simple phone call could avoid more missed deliveries and make their deliveries, and my life, so much easier!
I was given no possibility of telling Hunter Express to ensure delivery before 4pm - no phone number of email to let them know. The ONLY place I could advise that we close at 4pm was in the Delivery Details where it says "Enter location where driver can leave consignment". I wrote "Please deliver BEFORE 4pm Monday to Friday."
Fingers crossed someone sees this message and doesn't just leave the packages at our front door. It is not safe to leave packages anywhere at our business...
It's clear that Hunter Express’s communication options need serious improvement. A direct contact line or email would streamline coordination, especially for businesses with specific operating hours like yours. Given your limited ability to update delivery instructions post-dispatch, a note reiterating your hours and requesting a confirmed delivery time might help when arranging re-delivery. In the meantime, consider reaching out through their social media or customer service portal if available to underscore the need for a timely delivery.
