Double burger had several hairs in it
My mom dad and I waited months for the new hwy 55 in Locust, NC finally today I went by the new place no signs about times or opening information. Went to drive thru window. He manager laughed when I asked if they were open and pointed a finger at the sign by the road. That to me was rude. Then when I got my order home for my parents (both elderly both bed...

Stopped at the Newly Opened Highway 55 In Boaz AL. Had to yell for someone you take order in the drive thru. She repeated the order 3 times and still got it wrong. The food was awful. Got 1 #1 meal, and 2 #3 meals, paid $27.50 and when we got home the burgers were so little and undercooked. The animals got to eat them.. The fries were salty as well as the tots being salty. Never eating there again.
Desired outcome: Better food for other customers.
Customer service
I came in with a appetite for good food I was greeted with a bad attitude from your employees at the destination on 10th street light skinned guy with glasses refused to give me his name was very sarcastic refused to take my card for purchase so I had to get another card to buy my food I left and called once again asked for his name he hung up on me twice very bad attitude & my family won't be back for anything else
Desired outcome: He needs to be fired or put at a different shift
Size of sandwich
Friday 8/11 My husband & I decided to stop and get a cheesesteak combo We were very disappointed We were under the impression 12 in or 6 in When we got it It looked like a kids meal with a little meat & very very little toppings The bun was a 4 inch with a taste of meat We thought it was a joke If we hadn't ordered onion rings we would have left hungry as we went in The menu didn't not specify size of sandwich
Read full review of Hwy 55 BurgersAn older employee was bullying a 15 yr old while she was doing her job
I walked in the store to tell my 15 yr old daughter that I was going to dollar tree, she was crying (she never cries) so she said she's bothering me and mocking me, the managers on duty Riley said it was both girls having issues. So instead of talking to the girls, they yelled at my child to do this and that but at the time she had 2 tables of customers and wanted to finish with them and she would wash the dishes. Their was some rude comments and my child was crying, I wanted in to let her know I was here and I seen her crying and I wanted to know what happen and Riley said it was both girls, nothing was done. So I told her I wanted to talk to the other manager bc I felt what happened was uncalled for. I mean they closed the store for 2 day, my child missed out 2 days of work just to get treated badly on her shift.
Desired outcome: I feel that Riley as a manager does not do her job as she should, I feel the girl eliana (19 yrs old) shouldn't treat my 15 yr old daughter the way she did, I also was a customer on there and saw how she treated her then also
I hope this problem can be resolved
I’m going through the same process with my 17 year old I told her that bullying is not tolerated in any work force and we need to seek a lawyer I’m highly upset these grown persons think it’s ok to bully minors TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR ON MANAGEMENTS HALF so il will take action with my Lawyer
Food/service
On June 21 me and the family went to hwy 55 in Georgetown SC and the food was so burnt or the grease was insanely old it was inedible. I'm assuming the manager on duty he was rude AF to the crew and indirectly to the customers as well. We got there 50 minutes before close half the lobby was closed wich was understandable being as slow as they were. But a...

My first visit to a Hwy 55 burgers will probably be my last visit. I visited the Guntersville, Al location on 6/3/23 @ 11:12 through the drive-thru. Order #305. Let’s see where I start:
1. The tots were over cooked
2. No ice in my drink
3. The tea had a sour taste (not fresh)
4. The American burger was cold (like it had been sitting there) and the cheese was not melted (which shows it was not hot) not to mention there was so much mustard it was all over the burger I could barely hold it without making a mess.
5. The Carolina burger (which we ordered large one) seemed like a regular size and asked for Mayo (which it did not have). The more my husband ate he realized it didn’t have chili on it. It was also cold and cold cheese.
6. To finalize the mess…. I get to the bottom of my fries to find a long hair. Disgusting!
We were traveling back to TN or I would have turned around and complained.
This was (almost $30) wasted.
Customer service
My family and I were in the Hwy 55 of Wallace, NC 28466 recently. We entered at 7:05 in the evening, on 4/16/2023. There were 4 other customers in the store.
We sat in a booth, and waited for our waitress. And waited.
She came & took our drink orders. Then went back to get the pad they enter the orders on. We gave our orders. She called order up.
In the meantime, a young man came in & sat at the counter. Another couple walked in, as did an elderly lady. The young man get his food before us. We got 1/2 of our orders. I got my Andy's cheesesteak, as did my daughter. My grandson got his burger. We had to wait for my granddaughter's hotdog & my daughter's 2 hotdogs. We all also ordered tatertots (as they were out of fries).. waited, and waited. By this time, we were all finished with our sandwiches. Then finally, after much discussion by the so called "cooks", the hotdogs came out. THEN... finally our tatertots.
The waitress apologized. BUT, it wasn't her fault. My kids worked at Andy's in this location, and I never had horrible service. It's like the other young ladies were "flirting" with the young man at the counter, and the cooks were in their own world. There were no bananas for banana splits (my daughter said when she worked there, if something ran out they had to run to the grocery store!)
I don't know when I'll go back, if I ever do. It's such a shame that these young people don't care about customer service.
More training is needed.
Thank you for your time.
I am submitting a complaint for the Hwy 55 location in Kenansville NC. I called [protected] to place a takeout order at 6:32 pm on 9/1/23. Madison (red hair, glasses, bad attitude) picked up the phone without saying anything and just put the phone down and had me holding for 10 minutes. The reason why I know it was Madison is because I left my house and drove there still on hold and asked who did it. Instead of apologizing, Madison said "I could have done that, can I take your order." After giving her my order, I still didn't get an apology from her but she said. "I'll give you a discount." This is NOT the first time that I have attempted to call and couldn't get through. Most of the time I just go somewhere else but my sister wanted a cheesesteak and that is the ONLY reason why I didn't go somewhere else. Please train your employees, MADISON with the red haur, glasses and bad attitude in particular to be attentive to all customers. The ones on the phone and in person.
Chopped steak meal and classic hamburger
My wife visited the store in Rockingham, NC on 03/14/2023 at 3:30 in the afternoon. Very few customers. I ordered a Chopped steak plate and my wife a classic hamburger. We watched and it was not 1 minute, she brought both of our plates. The meat was already cooked as well as the fries. The meat was very cool (not hot at all) I can understand during peak...

On 9/27/2022 I visited store#163 on NC-111 in Goldsboro NC. The waitress was great. I ordered The JB&B chicken sandwich. It is supposed to be a chicken breast. I received the sandwich with chicken tenders. the tenders were overcooked and cold. I asked the waitress why the tenders and not the breast. She first said that was how it always came. I asked her to check with the cook. She did. The response was that they were out of breasts. I told the waitress they should inform the customer if there is a change to their order before just serving it with a substitute. I told her I did not want the sandwich and she asked if I wanted something else. I asked for a classic burger. A short while later my burger was delivered. It was undersize and falling apart. I had no more time to wait for another. I informed the waitress about my issues and told her I would not visit there location again. When finished I paid the Bill. NO EFFORT was made to appease my issues with all the service problems. EXTREMLY DISSASTISFIED!
Desired outcome: An apology from the Manager would have been nice. (never even tried to approach me). A discount on the meal would also have been appreciated.
Cheesesteak meal
I went to Hwy 55 in Washington on 9/22022 around 6:30. I ordered 2 cheesesteak meals with sweet teas. I drove 20 min home & when I got there I found out the 2 sweet teas were plain unsweetened tea. I called up Hwy 55 to let them know. I was told unless I took them back down tonight to exchange them there was nothing they would do. When I let them know I had been working all day the last thing I wanted to do is drive all the way back to replace sweet tea they reiterated there was nothing they would do. Is this what you consider good customer service? I give you my money, I don’t get what I ordered, then I’m told come back tonight or we can’t help you
Deplorable customer service
Wrong orders, don’t follow through with replacing.
Last incident was on Sunday 8-21-22. On Thursday, I placed an order with a $43 total. Everything in order was wrong, so I called to let them know. The girl assured me she wrote it down and it would be replaced. I called in order on Sunday, go to pick it up and tell them it’s a replacement. The manager is on her phone at the bar, picking zits on her face, ignoring the girl at the register, while she steady calls “Hannah”. Hannah finally comes to the counter and I tell her my order was a replacement. She tells me my name wasn’t down for a replacement. I told her I had spoke with Molly and she assured me it would be taken care of. She became nasty and said, “Molly doesn’t work here anymore and I can’t replace the order.” I asked for corporate number and she refused to give it to me. Almost every time I go there, the order is wrong. I won’t be going back.
Desired outcome: Order replacement and corporate number posted for customers.
Service
I called in a order which they told me it would take to minutes when I got to the location I waited for ten minutes before anyone assisted me then when I got my food the Hot Dog had no cheese on it like I placed the order and tater tots were cold. So they said they could cook some more tater tots and remake my Hot Dog so what they did was drop the tater tots back in grease after my hands touch and they just placed a pieces of cheese on the existing hot dog. I was very disappointed with the service at the Mebane location. I will not be going back
To go orders
On August 1, 2022I ordered 2 hamburger steak dinners along with 2 grilled cheese and cheese fries. Also I picked up an order for my daughter, 3 hotdogs and 2 side salads. Order was over $44. Unbeknownst to me they had run out of plates so when I got home my dinners were all smashed up in paper trays in brown paper bags. No slaw. I called and was told to bring all our food back and they would remake it or give me back my money. Here I am trying to feed 2 families and she couldn't just say if you come back we'll give you the slaw or next time you order we'll include slaw. Oh better yet, why not tell me when I ordered that they were out of plates so I could decide if I still wanted. That's a lot of money to spend for soaked greasy paper and smashed up food! Customer service isn't their priority for sure!
Desired outcome: I wanted an apology and my slaw!
Service
On march 30,2022 at 6:33 I took my 2 children and another child to highway 55 on forest hills road store 138. We preceded to order. My 13 year old ordered a kids meal as she has done on many, many occasions before. The waitress, alexa, told her she could not allow her to get one saying she was too old. I myself have ordered a kids meal many times there before and never had anyone say I could not. I asked alexa how did she know how old my child was? She didn’t respond. She just repeated she can’t order one. How ridiculous is this not to allow a child to get a kids meal or any one for that matter. Often i’m not hungry and will order one. I think restaurants would welcome anyone’s business! Needless to say we won’t go to this one again! Order #ac2yqkqjacbg
Desired outcome: Refund or allow kids meal for anyone who wishes to order one!
Service at highway 55 elgin sv
I ordered a shrimp dinner at the drive thru. When I got home I had only fries. I called the restaurant and complained I was hung up on. I called back and none would answer the phone. I went to the restaurant, the manage refused to come to the counter to talk to me. He continued to cook food. I had to talk with him over the kitchen. He cursed at me saying I'm not a child get the "F" ( used the word) out of my face. He finely gave me the missing shrimp but refused to give me other items missing from the meal. I asked his name he said his name was George. He refused to give me corporate number said google it. I have never had such disrespect shown to s paying customer in my life. This was not a child it was a grown man. I am a frequent customer but I will not spend another dollar in place that treats it customers like this.
Desired outcome: Train your managers and staff how to treat customers and handle situations Below picture is what I received for a shrimp dinner. He refused to give me any thing but the shrimp, which was burnt.
bananna split
Ordered 2 banana splits to go. Ate at near by park. The sundae was placed in a styrofoam take out container, there was more water from the fruit on it and I could have drank it. The nuts were whole and no chocolate anywhere. It was a disgusting mess in which I threw it out as it was gross (see picture). This was my 5th try st getting a good order. Last time is was a cold nasty burger.
No Covid19 precautions
I stopped in the highway 55 location in Hillsborough, NC at approximately 2:30 PM on 9-12. The county that this location resides in is Orange County. Orange Count as a mask requirement for all indoor activities.
I ask the manager and he said that there was no requirement, I reminded him there was, to which he replied that was for government offices only. He was reminded again that was not true to which he replied that the government cannot make them wear a mask and his manger had said they did not have to wear them.
Desired outcome: Ensure that employees wear mask where required and by law.
Customer service & orders wrong
Hwy 55 in Delco, NC NEVER has shrimp for spicy shrimp salad, out of custard once a week, and today 6/28/21 my burger was missing lettuce, tomato, and pickle. I called to let them know. Spoke w/Hailey and as I was complaining about my service she hung up on me. Very inconvenient on your lunch break to get on the busy Hwy to run back and forth for food I've ordered.
