hydroluxe creams
On April 30th, 2017 while looking at my Videotron website account, I had a pop-up advising me that I had won a free trial sample of a product called HYDROLUXE cream, so I filled in their form (big mistake) if I paid for shipping, would receive two samples of their creams. I ordered the samples, gave my credit card number and received the samples in due time. Much to my surprise, on my mastercard account are two charges for $139. and $126. U.S. funds for those two free trial samples. I failed to read the 'Terms and Conditions' of Hydroluxe. Hydroluxe apparently advised me that unless I cancelled within 15 days, this would be a monthly mailing. This is a SCAM.
There should be some protection for the consumer here?
I AM QUICKLY CHANGING MY MIND ABOUT ON LINE PURCHASES. It is not safe.

unauthorized credit card charges
I got scammed by Hydroluxe for $456.82 (U.S.). Signed up for a "free" sample, agreeing to pay the shipping charges, and was then told I signed up for a monthly subscription of Hydroluxe products. That one request for a sample product resulted in three online companies charging my credit card. Beware of these companies: agelesseyesserum.com; beautifulskinformula.com; and webskincarenow.com. My credit card company (Hudson's Bay MasterCard) stated it could do nothing to block future charges by these companies, so I had to cancel my credit card. All three companies operate from the same address in Nevada: 5348 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89108. All I was ever sent was one 1-ounce jar of Hydroluxe Hydrating Day & Night Cream.
Same happened to me in Australia. Webskin and Skinfree. Only applied for sample and sent a bigger jar and billed for $180 and $188 plus shipping twice, . Had to cancel my credit card . Scam. DO NOT ORDERS FROM ANY OF THESE PEOPLE.
same think happened to me in Canada.they said free product just pay shipping then bill my card 118 (Canadian). The credit card company says I gave them my card number so I am on the hook! What a scam.
unauthorized credit card charges
trying to return unused products, they charged me on my credit card april 6 for 4 times and the package wasn't sent out till aril the 11. I called them and they keep telling me no return that that trial was two weeks. I wanted to return products but they wouldn't help me..now more charges on aril 24 and under different company names. total cost that they want 369.42. I have not used the product and I want to return and have charges taken off my credit card. I cannot afford to pay this. thank you Diana
does it matter
I applied for the the wrinkle cream approx 1 month ago I found it did nothing for me so I contacted the company only to my surprise they have been taken money out of my bank account 140.00 and 121.00 imagine that!
I called the company and informed them I was so not interested in their product the lady I spoke to said to me did u read the bottom line I said I did but spoke to a genltman at their office and he informed me that since my first product took so long to get to me he was going to extend my time.
Again nothing was done I have since recieved 4 packages and which I have send all of them back
My question is how does any company have the right to keep sending and taking money out of my account I need this taken care of asap
Thank you

This is a scam. They dont tell you that the free trial is for 14 days then you will be charged 99.99 usd and also charge for another product that was never recieved. They cancelled my subscription but wouldn't refund the money. They took 129$cnd and 140$cnd from my account. I have reported this company to better business bureau and anywhere else to expose them.
facial wrinkle control cream deceptive marketing.
Facial cream deceptive marketing is still running strong in Canada and this time, they nabbed my elderly mother.
First you should know that this type of borderline fraudulent scheme is not illegal. They're a legitimate business pushing a monthly subscription of very expensive creme under the guise of a free trial, although as you'll soon find out, they're willing to sell it dirt cheap when you back them into a corner. These people are the internet's bottom feeders...
It was my dear old mother's lucky day, I happened to be at her place when her glorious box of Hydroluxe cream arrived. She said it was a free trial and that all she had to pay was the shipping. I knew straight away what it was, a trial is not a product, it's a signup and consent to charge your credit card a monthly fee in exchange for a supply of cream, I just didn't know what the damage would be and at $99.95 per month, it's a whopper.
Turn's out she got nabbed by reading a fake news story tying in Dragon's Den contestants to the product with a link to customer testimonials at the end. For Americans reading this, Dragon's Den is the Canadian version of Shark Tank. Here is an example of such a news story still running as of writing this:
rockstarseo.ca/people-magazine-news-dragon-dens-biggest-deal/
The package she received had no company name, logo or any idenfiable markings, Even the the Canada Post sticker was nameless, all it had was an address in the "From" field which is likely their shipping facility (P.O. Box 500, North York, Ontario M3J 0J8). They do this to presumably discourage you from contacting them, they want you to forget about them until your credit card gets hit with the next monthly supply of $100 cream.
The bottle did have the Hydroluxe name on it and after finding their website and terms of service, all was revealed:
hydroluxebeauty.com/terms/
I called them [protected]), spoke to a rep demanding a termination of service and RMA number to return the bottle. After he offered to cancel the deal if my mom paid for the bottle she recieved at a discount of $69.95 then $49.95 then $19.95, I asked him if he could hold the line while I conference in Master Card Fraud Prevention. That was the silver bullet, he instantly gave me a 17 digit RMA number, which I asked him to repeat 3 times, and the following return shipping address:
P.O Box 7750
599 Shepard Avenue
West Downsview ON
M3H 2W0
After reading up on the many tricks of the trade, I decided to check the shipping address they provided with Canada Post and sure enough, not only was the address wrong but the P.O. box as well. I called them back saying the call was being recorded and this time I was given a correct return shipping address:
Hydroluxe
P.O. Box 77570
592 Sheppard Avenue West
Downsview, Ontario
M3H 2W0
Had the product been shipped to the previous address, it would have been returned giving them enough time to ship and charge the credit card with a second monthly supply of $100 cream.
What's the moral of this story? If you have elderly parents who surf the web, educate them about the nasty world we live in.

Same thing happened to me in Victoria, BC and they don't care one bit that I am struggling on disability and having to pay court costs for a civil suit that is now not going to be able to proceed as scheduled due to fraudulent actions by this company and taking on authorized money out of my account.
hydroluxe cream - unauthorized credit card charges
Hydroluxe in Canada is using Dragons Den to rip people off! In the States they say they are endorsed by Shark Tank, in the UK endorsed by Beckham! I was charged over $600.00 on my credit card after I cancelled. I just had to cancelled my visa credit card. What a scam! If you ordered the free trial you will receive the initial product then they will charge you full price for it later. They will continue to bill your credit card month after month, so you better check your statements! I really wanted everyone to know about this scam even though I feel embarrassed falling for it! I received free samples from this company and they continued to charge my credit card even though I cancelled. Not only that they didn't even send the product that they kept charging me for! Just found out today that Visa is investigating the company for fraud. DO NOT try this free offer for Hydroluxe skin care products! Please re-post!
Hydroluxe Beauty Also Visa told me they keep changing the company name and name of products to continue to defraud people.
Although I have included a website for the product - they have many websites with different names - so do your research!
This is their contact number in Canada - Hydroluxebeauty [protected]. The very best way I can think of to harass them is to call and pretend you are a new customer - then once you get them talking - you can harass them - of course the best way is for every one to do this!

I did agree to a sample of the above noted product, then I received product that I did not order and had billings on two statements totalling $500.00. I called [protected] and spoke with Amy and ask her to cancel my account and reimburse the not allowed charged.
Thus is pure fraud, scam .
She tokd me they sent me a month supply. This was not the offer they were making.
How frustrating,
unauthorized credit card charges
I did agree to a sample of the above noted product, then I received product that I did not order and had 3 billings on one statement totalling $390.31CAD with another charge of $130.00 CAD upcoming on the next statement.
I called [protected] and spoke with John and he cancelled my "membership". He also mentioned giving a refund of $100.00US.
I would like a full refund of the charges. I would gladly return the product but I do not have an address.
There is no information as to a return address, only a phone number and a website. I asked John where the company was located and he said South Carolina.
I ordered the sample for the product and they confirmed me through the email for the sample charges for amount of $12 in total . After one month I got charged again on my visa for $ 126.64 and $140.72 Please stop my visa to pay ...
wrinkle control and ultimate moisture
I now have learned this is a scam about which I am terribly upset.
I have received these 2 items by mail today but did not order them.
I will return them to you tomorrow by mail.
I have no intention of paying my credit card for them so please close any account which you may have opened for me.

unauthorized credit, card charges fraudulent misrepresentation
I too was a victim of this company and their scam. The pop up that I saw indicated that this company had been on Dragons Den, which indicated to me that the company was legit. I placed an order for a trial sample for $3.95 US (although the company indicates that they are Canadian, all funds are in US dollars). I received the sample and then 14 days later my account was charged for a further $99.95. I did speak to a customer service rep and had the subscription that I had apparently signed up for, cancelled. When I indicated that I did not sign up for a subscription that rep said that it was part of the terms and conditions. I mentioned that there was no pop up for any terms and conditions and I believe now that this is automatically checked and therefore unless you know to go look for it, it is not something anyone sees when they place the order for the sample. I have noted that many have had to cancel their credit cards to avoid being charged for any more product. This company needs to be investigated and shut down. Do NOT order anything from this company.
This company has no ethics, or honesty. I have all the same complaints as listed above. I was told by Ben when I called in that I would get a $50. refund until they receive the product back and then they will refund the balance of about another $50. I just got off the phone with them so don't know if they told me the truth. The return authorization code is 17 numbers long and I have 2 to send back. I believe they use celebrities names just to get us hooked on their credibility and then sting us in the wallet. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
I just checked my bank account and still no refund showing but will give them until tomorrow and then I will explode on them again.
Amazing product and the fact that Ellen Degeneres and Jennifer Aniston are spokeswomen for the product- I assumed it was legit.
The trial lasts way longer than the 30 days stated. it is a good product. A really good product.
All through the trial signup, I checked off every single time-trial only; do not add me to the monthy shipping or autoshipping option.
Luckily, I caught the first charge the day it happened as I check my credit card account regularly.
I saw a charge for $133.14 Canadian for Young Face Everday. What? I did not purchase this. Phoned my credit card company right away and although I cannot block this company-I cancelled my card. They cannot charge me anymore...
I was informed I must contact the company and ask for a refund before I can contact the resolution department. ok, I can do that I thought.
I sent 3 emails and got 3 responses basically saying too bad, it is past the 14 days. Each time I responded back I told them to refund me in full as I had chosen the option of free trial only; no auto shipment.
So, first I was offered $30 refund USA, then $40 USA and lastly for $50 USA. My card was charged $133 Canadian. Even with the currency conversion, not even close to what I was charged!
I will be following up with the credit card company and forwarding these emails to their litigation department!
Business like this and people like this, piss me off!
What is worse, I expect both Ellen Degeneres and Jennifer Aniston to work with products they love, believe in, BUT I also expect them to have companies (legit, honest) companies taking care of the business side of things... I am very disappointed in the 2 of them. As celebrities, they have power, money, resources + to promote legit products that the average person can afford, not just the wealthy and people (normal, regular everyday people) look up to them.
Although I admire both of them and respect them both-some of that respect has disappeared...
charges that i'm not aware about
This company is a scam. I ordered the sample for the product and they confirmed me through the email for the sample charges for amount of $10 in total. After few days I received the product and I got charged again on my visa for $138 which i'm not aware about. I called the customer service and inquiry about the charges and he simply said to me that I agreed to their terms and conditions for 14 days trial which is not stated anywhere in the email.
Don't trust this company, they are just ripping your money without you even aware of it. They are cheating and fraud company.
Save your money and your time. Don't buy anything from this company
terrible product, scam to get your money.
Not only does this product not work but apparently the small print enrolls you automatically in a monthly subscription when you order the sample. After being charged a total of $300 for three small bottles of product, I had to call and have the subscription cancelled and was advised that the product cannot be returned after 14 day and they do not give any refunds. Avoid this company at all costs.
You receive the product and phone before the 14 day limit and they tell you you must return at your own expense or you can keep the product at an expense of 19.95 per bottle and your account will be closed. Either way you pay! It is a scam so be very careful when you deal with them. I for one will never deal with them again, l don't care how good their product may be.
In Norfolk County, ON, Canada! we only completed an online survey on July 27, 2017 qhich asked us to choose an item as a gift. To cover the small shipping costs, we gave a credit card number and coordinates for this specific, small charge. We were to be charged only $3.95 USD ($5.07 CAD) for shipping of the gift item. We did not order any other product, nor did we authorize further charges. On 7/27/17 a further charge of $4.95 ($6.37 CAD) was made by UMH*UPGRADEDSKIN MIAMI BEACH FL 33139. Then, on 8/10/207 there's a charge of $130.43 (US $99.95) on our credit card. . TO HIGHLIGHT - WE ARE BILLED FOR PRODUCTS WE DID NOT ORDER and at AMMOUNTS WE NEVER AUTHORIZED! This is a FRAUD and a SCAM! Banking authorities need to stop this and protect all the "customers" who respond to this "gift" offer. Company info on this is: - support@hydroluxe.com and/or support@hydroluxebeauty.com with phone [protected]. It is very difficult to reach these people by phone. They put you on hold and after 2 minutes cut the line. Finally, through my credit card dispute department we reached their telephone contact, Samantha Taylor, in Toronto who took our complaint asked us to return the unused "gift" immediatly by registered post to P.O. Box 77570 at 592 Sheppard Avenue, West Downsview ON, M3H 2W0 at our expense. Once we send them the Canada Post Tracking number, by e-mail, Samantha Taylor claimed they will credit me with the US $100 originally charged. After receipt of the package they will refund any open balances, which now total US $8.85 extra, beyond the $100 they claim they will refund now.. We shall see if that happens. Meanwhile our credit card has been alerted to block all such payments/charges from this company.
The same thing happened to me here in British Columbia and the fraud department through my bank is dealing with it but I just had the same exact experience with the customer service representative I just spoke to.
It happened to us in Toronto Canada! We only completed an online survey and asked to choose an item as a gift. We paid 3.95 usd for shipping of the gift item. We did not order any product. Now there's a charge of 140.07 on my credit card. We called customer service and 2 agents, one named Amy to complain about the unathorized transaction and demanded full refund. Both insisted that returns and refunds is not possible after a certain period of time. TO HIGHLIGHT - WE ARE BILLED BY A PRODUCT WE DID NOT ORDER! This is a fraud and a scam! Someone needs to do something to stop this and protect the customers. If you read this and know how to stop this ongoing scam, PLEASE do something! Company info - support@hydroluxebeauty.com phone [protected]
The same thing happened to me. My credit card is billed for $126.71. I placed my order on July 27th and I was to pay only 3.95 usd for shipping and handling. I called the company today @10:28 am and spoke to Anna. he said the same thing to me . She cannot the refund the money. Here's a copy of the email I asked her to send to me
(thank you for using Hydroluxe products. This email is to inform you that your subscription status has been recently updated and any ongoing or all future charges have been cancelled as per your request.)
Please let me know what your bank advised. I called my bank but I have to wait until my transaction has been posted to my account. It's still pending.
Thank you

complaint about the product and the company
This company uses a trick that one where you have to stop the shipment after your trial?
That is where they get you because not many people remember or do they give you a reminder.
The product is terrible and dries your skin out.
I was allergic to the product and asked for a refund and they were rude and short with me saying that it was my fault and they would not take it back!
Very disappointed there are some companies that actually stand behind their products because they are confident that their product is a success and does work wonders, but not HYDROLUXE they do not stand behind their products even if you break out in a rash.
I am sad to say it's a Canadian company a greedy Canadian company that cares only for money.
I agree 100 %. I made the mistake of ordering one product before I checked the internet for SCAMS. They now say that I ordered 2 products, not one and they have charged me 2 separate shipping amounts, both in USD ? even though it is shipped from Toronto. Christopher Quinta of customer service told me this is a US company and that is why the charge is in USD?
I have sent multiple emails to multiple "customer un service" and each one tells a different story but I cancelled my "subscription" a few days after and have not received the product so will simply refuse to accept it and mark it as SCAM Product Offer and return to the sender. I will also contact VISA and alert them not to process any charges from Hydroluxe or Chanel St Claire or any other name I can find that they operate under. I will see if BC has a Financial Crimes unit.
This company also is the same as Chantel St. Claire WWW.buychantelstclaire.com
They scamed me as well over $300.00 CAN!
Hopefully I can recover some of the $ through my bank I'm trying any way! If your within Toronto here's the info for the Financial Crimes Unit: Financial Crimes

The more of us who go to the authorities and report them the better and if nothing else the police will have lots of complaints filed. I can not see them NOT investigating as they use multiple company names for the same scam, have the same customer service # which is outsourced to India mostly and use the same mailing address! Let's fight back and hopefully at the very least bankrupt these [censor]!

Po box 600 North York ON M3J 0J8 this is where the parcel came from. Im going to the police today to report them for saying they are associated with the shark tank show. This should be considered a federal offenc not just for theft fraud but also for impersonation of he program of lorie from shark tank. Ive begged for my funds back and had no response. I'll be without prescription funds and food now for 3 weeks. May loose my cell phone as well. I hope they get caught and are made to pay back. There's witnesses on lories site on Facebook.
charging to credit card
Ordered free 14 day trial & did not like the product as it caused me to break out in pimples. I noticed charges on one of my credit cards for a total of $205.00. Called company & was told that it was clearly posted on the site when I signed up for the trial & I was automatically enrolled in their monthly payments. I was furious. It was posted in small print at the bottom of one of the pages. Scam as far as I am concerned. Dragon's Den backed this kind of consumer violation. They should be ashamed of themselves. O'Leary running for politics - go figure.
wrinkle cream fraud scam
From what I have deduced this is the same scam as Abella Mayfair scam.
My husband, after viewing a video of two scientists allegedly on the Dragon's Den. Decided that i should give this product a go. Win-win $5 shipping FREE sample. Wife loses wrinkles. Too good to be true right!?
Well, $280 later ... I called Visa to have them reverse the unauthorized charges. Then i had the card cancelled. As it turns out this scam doesn't stop they will continue charging your credit card month after month. So the only out is to do what I did. DON"T take no for an answer from your credit card company. Get through to your credit card security department. THEY should be up to speed on these scams. I can tell you without doubt these companies lie and will NOT resolve the issue. Beware, they will string you along...long enough for more charges to occur. YOU MUST nip this in the bud ASAP.
I am a Computer Tech and did a bit of sleuthing. These characters create a brand and a web page. Produce a misleading but persuasive online campaign. Then once they're called out by enough people. They just start over with a new Brand. They use reputable other brands to endorse their product as they did in our case with CBC's Dragon's Den. Another scam is with a Costco survey.
Very annoying because my bank although they backed me up can't block scammers. Can't or won't? Google still takes their campaign money. And even CBC, a tax supported media company whose own good name is dragged about may do little to stop them. Why big corporations look the other way annoys me., .. so does the fact that my husband thinks I'm too wrinkly.

Hi, I was unaware of automatic charges to my credit card and I was told that i was to be issued a refund of $100 (50 for each product that was charged). This was 11 days ago and i have not yet received my refund.
I tried calling customer service and was put on a loop of automated messages.
This company led me to believe I was ordering a product endorsed by Joanna Gaines. When I ordered, there were no term and conditions to agree to and they did not mention this product would be autoshipped monthly. They have charged my credit card for a product I did not and do not want to receive!
This company is ripping everyone off. DO NOT GET RIPPED LIKE WE DID. ordered A SIMPLE sample for a few dollars and suddenly the credit card exploded with charges from $89 and $99. This was not authorized by me.
I will report this as a fraudulent transaction
on googling this company they have had similar complaints in the past
