IFB Industries Replacing of fuse,Pc&XVDiod

I, Usha Daga from Dewas M.P. have a microwave oven model 2303. I had previously complained about my oven not working. A serviceman was sent but he came without any parts which were supposed to be changed, like the fuse that is not working at all, the PC & the XV DIOD. The man came from Indore. He even took service charges but did nothing to repair my oven. My Land line No. is [protected] & my cell no. is [protected].

IFB Industries Washing machine door lock replacement pending since 40 days technicians demand money

I had been a loyal and admired customer of IFB, I own a washing machine and a Microwave of IFB.

I have a serious complaint against IFB regarding my washing machine, and had been desperate to bring to notice of right people.
I called up customer care couple of time, contacted Branch Office (Ms Geetanjali, contacted Kolkotta office, wrote to [protected]@ifbglobal.com, copied to [protected]@ifbglobal.com.
No response, not even have a courtesy to call up or respond by email.

In Delhi there is a large scale nexus of the technicians and the sub contracted agency which handles the service part in the area where I reside Saket.

My machine is under warranty, I had raised a complaint No 7032588 on 27th Aug 2011 mentioning that my washing machine door is stuck. I was informed that the part is not in stock. I reminded twice at the call center.

Subsequently I contacted the technician who attended to my call, who informed that this is regular thing in IFB, its advisable that we should buy the door lock, it hardly costs Rs 400/- he can procure the same for me, and can be installed same day as there is enough stock available. The part is original and is covered under warranty.

I was desperate to bring this to notice of IFB, first contacted customer care and subsequently contacted the local agency for service as per details provided by customer care including Raman, Bharat Bhushan, Prabhat, and subsequently they stopped taking my calls.

I uploaded the same on feedback on website but no response.

Further I complained at Kolkotta customer care, a senior executive was very responsive and gave me contact details of Ms Getanjali, in branch office in Delhi.

Ms Geetanjali was very very rude, she initially even without hearing my case jumped to conclusion that the part has been broken due to my mishandling hence not covered under warranty.

When I had to interrupt her to detail my complaint, I detailed and provided details of the technician who asked for money for replacing the part along with phone numbers, she contacted him in front of me.

My problem is not addressed yet, when enquired she said, she would get back need not call. Definitely to complain she was bit rude.

I called up on Saturday she warned not to call till Tuesday evening, on Wednesday when called up she said she would get back and subsequently stopped responding.

My washing machine doesn’t have door lock now and its more than a month, and the response of IFB customer care had been pathetic. And not choice to escalate. Under this circumstances, the technicians and outsourced agencies are minting money.

I cannot wait for one more day as you know the importance of washing machine in a family where both wife and husband are working or in any house.

My washing machine is shut down for lack of door lock since 35 days and no one to hear me till date. Please respond

I am looking forward for early response.

Also request to have right type of agency and right people in customer care.

I have been complaining for my washing Machine since last 4 months but there is no response
they are asking me to pay them upfront Rs.6500 to attend the complaint
When the person from IFB came to my residence he said that the drum has busted & it is due to Coins present there which he has shown to my 7 year old son & hurriedly left even though my father wanted to check
Actually the DRUM BUSTED WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS BUT TO HIDE THIS THEY CREATED THIS NEW STORY

I Am also having the same problem with my IFB washing Machine.
My machine is under warranty, I had raised a complaint on 7th Oct 2011 mentioning that my washing machine door locking handle is stuck.

BYING OF IFB PRODUCTS THAT TO IFB WASHING MACHINE IS DREAM OF 15 YEARS, HENCE I BROUGHT THIS PRODUCT, BUT SINCE BEGING THIS COMPANY GIVING TROUBLE AND I AM VERY MUCH DISTURBED THEIR SERVICE AND I TOLD MY FRIENDS NOT GO FOR IFB PRODUCTS.
SIR MY IFB WASHING MACHINE DRUM AND OTHER PARTS BROKEN IN THE INSIDE AND I CALLED THE ENGINEER AND REGISTERED MY COMPLAINT TICKET NO-7008228-DATED-23/08/2011 MY ID-2526720(PRABHUDASS) HE CAME AND TOOK THE PARTS AND WENT, ONE FINE DAY CAME TO TRYED TO INSTALL WHICH IS NOT SUITABLE TO THIS MACHINE AGAIN HE WENT AND TOLD ME THAT THERE ARE SUPPLYING THE PARTS WHAT CAN I DO.THEN I CALLED MR.NITIN AND SANTHOSH SO MANY TIME THE CALL LIST WITH ME TILL TODAY NOT YET REPAIRED.

IFB Industries I will ensure I never buy another product from IFB, BOSCH or any associated company

Under warranty, a fine product (atleast projected so) breaks down. Customer keeps calling the call centre and is given dates after dates, with no one visiting. Finally when one losses their temper, the reason revealed is " your call was MISSED".

I am at a loss to know how organizations can be so customer agnostic. I am a Senior Vice President for Customer Relationship Management of a US company in India, and I am sorry to see this happen. While, we will push and get someone to finally come, what has this experience really resulted in? Read on…

1. I will ensure I NEVER buy another product from IFB, BOSCH or any associated company.
2. I will convince every buddy of mine whether or not she was in the buying process to ever touch a IFB BOSCH product.
3. I will write on every website about how pathetic the IFB BOSCH service is
4. I will write to the senior most management in fantastic detail about my pain – in fact my representative Assistants KRA last month will be to search and find out every senior IFB BOSCH official and write letters to them in India, ASia Pacific, and Germany
5. I will be applying to the CONSUMER COURTS for compensation for hurts on harassment.

NOW IS THIS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL LISTEN?

No one has yet come – pls send some responsible person to resolve our issue!

IFB Industries IFB washing machine trolly /shine engineering.madurai,tamilnadu

on 31.10.2009 IFB F/A, W/M Sendria DX purchased from Vivek, Madurai.on 04.11.2009 from Shine Engineering, Madurai, technitions have come and installed above washing machine in my house at Thirunagar., Madurai, and forced us to buy and fix IFB Trolly for the washing machine, we too have purchased, as per their insistance, the trolly for the above machine, and installed by them same day, their invoice no for the trolly is 3462 dated 04.11.2009.for Rs.1200.last month that is July 2011, too much of vibration was noticed and we have reported to shine engineering, they have checked and replaced some parts, which has reduced the vibration, but vibration continued, when their technition removed the trolly and placed the washing machine on the floor the vibration reduced further but still vibration continued to be there.Now, due to the trolly supplied by the above company the vibration is more, hence i requested them to take action, since 09 August 2011, but so far no response from them, machine is kept on the floor, but with less vibration machine is working.our requirement from IFB is you have install trolly and fix the machine without vibration.kindly note that we have NOT asked for the trolly at all.They have forced us to buy the trolly.it is IFB responsibility, to fix the machine which is within warranty, and replace or take suitable action for the trolly without delay.

IFB Industries IFB Washing Mahine 7 Kg Digi

This has reference to the IFB washing machine used by my family and the poor services received towards resolving the problems reported to the service team. The said machine has been enrolled under AMC service for ensuring continued support on breakdowns. However, I would to share the unending grievances and trauma faced by me and my family, specially the way the issues have been handled by your service team. Needless to mention that, inspite of spending a huge amount on the AMC as well as on additional highly expensive spares parts, we are not able to make use of the machine since several days and are completely dissatisfied with the services.

Appended below is the list of issues reported and their present status.

A Brief History on each of the case handled by your service team and its Current status:
Outer Drum Replacement: The service team dismantled and assembled the unit 04 times thereby creating a mess at the site and replaced the part without proper precaution or maintaining any standard. Moreover, on replacing the part, they learnt that a wrong replacement part had been shipped to the site. The shipped part was taken back to the workshop for its verification and getting the correct part. The entire episode took a week including several reassemblies and in the bargain the engineer had lost the ON/OFF knob. We were left with operating the unit without the ON/OFF knob and the team had no clarity of obtaining it from the principle.

Belt Replacement: The problem was attended by installing a Non-compatible belt in the unit, leading to frequent slipping off of the belt and resulting into non-functioning of the machine. With no option, my Family had to place fresh calls with the service center and the visiting engineer would reload the belt, which would work for few hours and end up with the same problem. This reoccurred on several fronts.

Noise: There has been multiple request placed for the said issue, however till date no satisfactory solution has been provided to address the recurring problem.

Lastly, I regret to mention that, as a customer we feel cheated on the service and support front after investing a huge amount and I am not able to use the unit satisfactorily. Moreover, my family is completely frustrated over the services received from the IFB team. Trust this mail will serve as a constructive feedback in necessitating the required immediate actions to address the customer’s rightful needs on priority. Also, I strongly recommend that you depute a highly qualified senior engineer to handle the case as its has already crossed all its limits.

what is going on IFB...is this your service is ? plz tell us the reason why we should not go for the other companies, as you and your team has crossed all the limitations in this case, although i am also planned to buy ifb 7kg but now i have to think 50 times before the step to take.

IFB Industries non-response to request

This has reference to my complaint no.6514973 lodged on Friday 19th June, 2011 requesting that the servicing staff be sent to the location on Saturdays/Sundays only and to call me on my mobile before leaving for the call. For the last two weeks, I have been following up on this but no one has called up. Since the machine is in my flat which remains locked, hence the request for a weekend visit and a call prior to visit to enable me to be present in the flat to get the machine serviced. For your information, I am a committed IFB customer for the last 15 years and currently have two washing machine and a IFB dryer. The customer service department seems totally apathetic to my request and this is not the experience that I expect from a company of your repute. I may also add, that the customer service staff speak like parrots and just rattle off rehearsed dialogues without paying any attention to the customer's requirement. Hope action will be taken immediately to rectify the system and address my complaint.

IFB Industries Horrible experience with IFB Seervice

The quality of service of IFB washing machines is very pathetic. I live in annanagar in chennai and i have been trying to seek the help of the IFB service personnel for rectifying a simple problem for the past 2 months and the problem still persists..There is nothing done beyond attending the call and stating that some will attend to your problem. The staff visited my house twice and tried doing something, but in vain. The machine is only 4 years old...I do not know what to do and hence writing this on this board to bring it to the notice of IFB authorities..A rerally bad and disgusting experience...the service agency is absolutely irresponsible...i did my best getting in touch with who ever i can, but none have come to my rescue...i have stopped contacting the IFB customer care number and i am going to post a message every day on this board to prove how pathetic and incorrigible IFB's service is...i can be contacted on [protected] so that i can share my worst experiences with this great company!

Sub: Defective dishwasher and bad after sales service. Refund of amount towards purchase of equipment, extended warranty, accessories, and compensation.

I want to bring to your kind notice the mental agony I am facing due to defective equipment delivered to me on 6.1.08, who’s functioning couldn’t be rectified in spite of all efforts made during last 34 months.

I have patiently tried to co-operate as much as possible, undergoing great hardship and was always hopeful, but now I am frustrated with the quality of dish washer machine and bad after sales service, and have decided to take up the matter to the consumer court for relief.

The latest Example being my complaint no. 5241461 registered on 8.10.10 attended after delay of 20 days by the engineer Mr. Sunil Tel No. [protected]. He did nothing to rectify the machine giving excuse of non availability of parts He didn’t turn up again and even closed my complaint. I had to re-register my complaint on 8.11.10 (Complaint no. 5387898). This time complaint was attended by Mr. Dhanprakash Tel No 9818087391after a delay of 5 days. He has removed certain parts for replacement and has not turned up as yet. I have complained repeatedly on customer helpline no. [protected] to Mr. Pradeep on 11.11.10, Mr. Subajit on 16.11.10, and Ms Gyatri on 17.11.10 with no results. I was also asked by customer care officers to directly contact Mrs Anuradha -[protected], Mrs Sona-[protected], Mrs Monica-[protected]. However on these telephone nos nobody attends to calls.

Facts
I have purchased dishwasher Neptune model on 6.1.08 from your distributor Arvee Enterprises, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi with the hope of getting a good reputed brand and after sales service to help my aged parents to ease out their work.

I also took extended warranty for additional 2 yrs after paying the required amount over and above the usual 2 yrs warranty given with the product.

The dishwasher started malfunctioning within 15 days of purchase and is still not working till date (20.11.10).

During last 34 months, I have made innumerable complaints at your customer care no: [protected] and every time I was given assurance of speedy rectification of problem.

However the complaints were either not attended and complaint closed, or attended to after delay of 15-30 days after each complaint, that to after repeated reminders at national customer care no and local service centre complaint no, although according to rules it should be attended to within 24 hrs.

Several times my complaint was left unattended and I used to receive SMS on my registered mobile tel. no. that my complaint has been resolved.

My complaint was forwarded repeatedly on my request from the customer care to several service engineers and high officials of the company at Delhi branch, but no one had time to look into my complaint, for which they are employed by the company.

I made repeated requests at customer care to provide me with all the data pertaining to my previous complaints and their follow-up during last several months but they have denied my right to information.

No document at the time of attending complaint is ever provided to me for my record, and no explanation is given to me regarding the nature of problem and the service done or details of part changed.

The parts brought for replacement are unsealed bearing no company seal and always leave me wondering if the replaced part is genuine.

The complaint when attended to, also bears no permanent solution, as the machine breaks down again and again after few days interval rendering it practically of no use.

No follow up call is given after complaint is attended, to judge customer satisfaction.

The service engineers mostly become unavailable on phone, or blatantly tell us that the complaint will be attended by another person even if the trouble starts the very next day of attending complaint. Moreover, I am told to register complaint again on customer care which further wastes time.

I have tried to contact the following officials/ service engineers from time to time who have always either not responded or remained indifferent.

Mr. Bharat Bhushan (Manager-[protected], [protected]), Mr. Alam (Service engineer-[protected]), Mr. Dhanprakash (Service engineer-[protected]), Mrs Kamini (IFB Official-[protected]), Mr. Amit anand (Service Manager-[protected]), Mrs. Monica (Service coordinator- [protected], [protected]), Mr. Rajesh Burman (Manager-[protected]), Mr. Yogesh (Senior service engineer-[protected]), Mr. Milan Chandola (Service Manager-[protected]), Mr.Ajay (Branch Head-), Mr. Yograj (Area Service Manager-[protected]), Mrs. Ankita (Area Service Manager-[protected]), Mrs. Anuradha (Service manager-[protected]), Mrs. Sona([protected])

I was misguided by the service engineers from time to time by putting the entire blame for repeated malfunction of the machine on us and suggesting measures involving huge expenditure.

The following are few of the many measures suggested to me.

The water pressure in the pipeline is insufficient.

Although the water pressure was strong enough as the water is supplied by overhead tank approx 14 feet high and 2000 lts capacity,

I still responded by installing a separate pipeline and overhead tank, but later found that even then the problem was not solved.

I was asked to use desilter several times by different personnel attending on different days for the same complaint within a span of 7 days.

This incurred me a substantial monetary loss without any result. (Total 10 packets used)

I was asked to purchase a pressure pump, and magnetic flow equipment from them.

I refused, as it was an absurd idea as the company doesn’t recommend and the pressure of water was more than sufficient. I learnt from other customers later that suggestions were intended to earn them extra income.

The following are the inferences drawn regarding malpractices/ deficiency of services from above facts and figures.

As is evident from above data, the following facts emerge about the quality of product and the after sales services:

Defective piece: -
The dishwasher supplied is defective as it is hardly in working condition from the time it was brought until today.

Poor after sales service:
The product has malfunctioned every few days and the quality of after sales service is extremely poor and sub standard.

Delayed service:
The complaint is attended to after delay of 15-30 days that to after repeated requests.
Attending to complaint is mostly limited to a visit by personnel with suggestions to change parts without any result. They then don’t turn up again and give excuses for non availability of parts.

No follow up
There is no mechanism in your company to follow up complaint and to judge customer satisfaction regarding resolution of complaint.
The complaint is invariably closed as per feed back by the service engineer even without attending and solving the complaint. The customer is then asked to register afresh a new complaint.

Denial of customer right to information:
The service engineers do not provide any documents pertaining to diagnosis of problem and measures taken, neither the details of work done and parts replaced.
The customer care centre failed to provide me information regarding my previous complaints and their follow-up for my record and information purpose.

Replaced parts substandard?
The parts brought for replacement are neither sealed nor bear company logo thereby placing a doubt about the genuineness of the part.

Apathy of senior officials:
Even the high officials at local branch level are not concerned about the customer problems and are mostly unavailable, irresponsible, disinterested and unresponsive.

Corruption:
The service centre personnel are indulging in malpractices and it seems are indulging in parallel business by suggesting several products not recommended by the company to customers like magnetic flow meter, pressure pumps.
They even try to charge customers on one pretext or another for servicing during warranty period, that to without providing bill.

Inefficient service engineers:
The service engineers are inefficient, work on basis of ‘hit and trial method’, indulge in temporary ‘jugaru work’ in their own language.
They are discourteous and refuse to come even when the complaint has been attended by them the previous day and remain unsolved.

My motive of making complaint to you
What I want:
Either refund the total amount with interest + compensation for the deficiency in quality of product and service.
Or
Else I will be left with no choice but to put up my case in consumer court..

My motive is not only to solve my problem but also to save a brand like IFB.
This will require drastic steps to remove deficiencies as I have pointed out earlier.
To add, I still think IFB is a big brand and as a matter of fact want the company to be transparent, customer friendly.

My owen's (IFB) internal cavity got rusted within 3 months and repairing costs 70 % of equipment cost, is not covered under warranty. I am planniong to go to consumer court for relief. You may do the same.

Yes I agree I had purcased a Microoven with model 20SC2 which has a basic desin defficiency. The cooking chamber cosnists of heater coil made with Mild steel material which gets corroded due to the steam and vapours produced during cooking.The condensate water deposited on this coil drops on the cooking item during cooking. This condesate water consists of Corrossion material collected from the coil suraface.Imagine how dangeruos it is if we intake the food items prepared in this Microoven. The IFB is not respoding to this complaint.As said in the other complaints ervery time I call IFB I get a feed back that a senior service engineer will visit and inspect the equipment and this is continuing from last one month and so far no body is turned up. I feel my self unhappy about selection of this brand.

IFB Industries Water pumping failure & door locking failure

Sir, two years back i purchased an ifb washing machine (Model: senorita plus) . No one has turned up for any periodical service from the company / or sales point since the purchase. One time the machine itself fell down on running speed and as such the water inlet - tube was damaged. On my complaint, one person came and replaced the tube and charged rs. 500 / - as cost of the tube plus labour as extra despite it was said to have been under warranty. Since it fell down, we have been facing a problem in front door locking. Now the water pumping system has failed to pump out the dirty water, even no spin. While contacting the dealer, the technician informed that it would cost rs. 3000 / - for the replacement of pumping motor, door lock plus service charges. Is the charge correct? Now the ifb washing machine became unuse. I seek your guidance. My contact no. Is: [protected] / [protected]. IFB Industries not giving service

I have FX EPLUS washing machine Sr. no C522 i had made service contract march-2009 service with parts

(all in all ) RS 3550/- still i am not satisfied of service complain on 20/08/2010 my complaint no is 4969116

after 10 day's i am not getting machine in working condition pl. do need full us pl.reply.Mr. Anil diwakar is br. manager is not receiving phone call

IFB Industries There was no response despite repeated reminders

I had purchased IFB Fully Automatic top loading washing machine Model no. AW60-8062 on 10.12.2008. it came with a warranty till 9.12.2012. My customer code is 1717263. Within six months of usage the machine developed snags. There was a substantial increase in its noise and its performance deteriorated. Despite many complaints, the mechanics from IFB never checked the machine properly and only came for superficial visits On 22.01.2010 I again made a complaint (No. 405988) as the noise from the machine was now deafening, however the mechanic assured us that this was normal. On 3rd of april 2010 (complaint no. 4342016) the machine stopped drying clothes completely. There was no response despite repeated reminders. On 16.04.10 a company mechanic after much persuasion examined the machine and found the clutch plate to be broken. He left promising to repair it soon and has not been back since. The machine is completely stalled now.

Kindly get the machine exchanged as soon as possible as the company very obviously does not have any skilled engineers available who can repair the machine.

IFB Industries Useless washing machine which never washes clothes

The most number of consumer complaints are for IFB products. I think the company should shut down because of selling faulty products.I have purchased a IFB washing machine - Diva in March 2009 which does not even washes the clothes after using IFB recommended and IFB costly detergents. We were earlier very happy with our semi-automatice whirlpool washing machine. All our clothes washed in this new machine in these 5-6 months have become worst and always look dirty as if they are not washed.

I, now, feel that I have been cheated by the company as I have paid the full money towards the purchase of such an useless washing machine which never washes clothes.

IFB Industries The trolley is so small, machine is giving excessive vibrations during its operation

At the time of demo on 31.01.2009, I had ordered for a trolley for my washing machine. Though, the trolley was supplied for cost by Mr.Srinivas with the bill of M/s Dealwel Home Appliances(Authorised IFB Customer Care Centre, Plot No.433, Beside Shradda School, Bhagat Singh Nagar, Kukatapally, Hyderabad - 085), the total base of the machine is not seated in the trolley when the machine was placed in it. In fact, the trolley is so small, machine is giving excessive vibrations during its operation. Only 1/3rd of the base of the machine is seated in the trolley and the remaining portion of the base of the machine is hanging outside of the trolley.

Contacting Mr Srinivas, number of times, over the phone number given by him could not fetch any results as the mobile was repeatedly heard switched off.

IFB Industries Such a lethargic attitude from a reputed company like IFB is not in good taste

I have a fully automatic IFB washing machine which is under AMC for 2 years. I have lodged a complaint on 23 Nov 08 regarding its unserviceability (complaint no.2453620). But till date neither it has been repaired nor a satisfactory reply is being given by the service centre at Kannur(Kerala). Such a lethargic attitude from a reputed company like IFB is not in good taste.

IFB Industries After all the resorts have been touched, the company still doesn't replace the machine

I had bought the washing machine in november 2007 and since the date of installation there was a problem of vibrations(movement of machine) in the machine. The service engineer on his first visit came and balanced the machine by adjusting the rubber feet under the machine. After being levelled the machine was shown once to be levelled by bypassing the further cycles and the service engineer left. The problem curbed up the very day the machine was serviced and levelled properly. In fact the machine kicks out at the start of spin dry cycle and moves all the way until one member of my family volunteers -holding the machine till the dry cycle is finished. I have since then lodged complaint after complaints at [protected] and get a service engineer at my doors to attend the problem for no avail. 7 months have now gone and the machine still runs in marathon at each spin dry cycle. The service engineers have leveled the machine repeatedly, applied rubber pads, changed the motor, the motor control unit, the motor shock absorbers etc.. Now after all the resorts have been touched, the company still doesnt replace the machine. The call centre assured me that the machine will be replaced by 8:30 AM on 9th may 2008. No body came not a phone call either. The local people assured me that the machine shall be replaced under any circumstances today i.e. 14 th May 2008 by 10:00 AM. No phone calls from him as usual and when i called up he says an improvised motor replacement has been shipped from Goa office as per directions of superiors and the same shall be done day after tommorrow i.e. friday 16th of may. I have now started to have an illusion that my washing machine has become an R&D equipment and the top officials are either fooled by lower staff or the policies of IFB are such.

Complaint number 4785703, model aw60 - 8061, sr. No. [protected], dealer name: vasanth &co, we bought the washing machine on [protected], on [protected] the machine was not working so i have given the complaint on that day itself, but til today it is not working, i have spoken to the customer care people they send one operator his name is hari, his mobile number is [protected], he said some part was repaired, til now he is not given the parts of the machine. . . One month is going to complete. . Stil no action has been taken. . . We are in the guarantee period, please take the action as soon as possible

I placed a complaint to get my IFB Elite washing machine to be repaired(a minor repair and it is in warrenty period) on 17th Oct 2009, and they said the executive will be coming on 20th oct 2009. but uptill now no response even we have made repeated calls to their helpline no and the authorize service company. very pathetic service after sales. IFB concentrates only selling their products rather than service after sales. my customer ID they provided is 1792256 and my complaint no is 3637741, and the service center they asked me to contact is 080-[protected]. I never suggest anybody to buy IFB washing machines.

IFB Industries IFB Washing machine not working

Respected Madam/Sir,
We have purchased a IFB washing machine MODEL NO.7233 from Bhatia Electronic Lab, Rohtak(haryana) on march 2, 2009, invoice no. is 3793.But to our great disappointment it did not meet our expectations as it was found defective.We have been calling up the respective company but till date no action has been taken.

We have already registered our complaint regarding the IFB washing machine.On may18, 2009 an engineer had arrived but the repair done was not satisfactory.The parts are not fully replaced and the replaced parts are not original.We are really fed up of complaining again and again.As from nearly last two and a half months we have been continuously complaining and till date no strict attention has been paid to this, we DONOT want to get the machine repaired.EITHER exchange the piece or we request the company to return the money paid by us to the company.

WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THE SERVICE

The motor of the machine has stopped working. How Pathetic!

We really need the piece to be replaced now as it has completely stopped working now.No buttons on the machine are working and we are really fed up of the IFB service.

All fake promises these IFB people make.

Last time the engineer came and repaired the machine and just after 1 day the part from bottom of the machine have came out.
Not only this, the machine makes some funny noises as if coins are thrown into this.

We want the machine to be replaced now.if the engineer comes now, it would be his 7th visit.
HOW IRRITATING AND FRUSTRATING!

SHAME ON U IFB COMPANY...EVEN AFTER 1YEAR REPAIR IT THE SAME PROBLEM.
IF U GUYS HAVE ANY FURTHER RESPECT LEFT PLEASE REPLACE IT...

COULD YOU PLEASE GET THE PIECE REPLACED OR ELSE WE WILL DRAG THE CASE FURTHER.

IFB Industries IFB takes money for AMC but provides no service

My complaint pertains to IFB Elite fully automatic washing machine bought in August 2006. Last year the washing machine was under Annual maintenance contract (AMC).

In May 2009, I faced a problem “Water would not drain out completely from machine after the washing cycle and some foul smell like wires burning came from the machine”.

As we registered a complaint with IFB, a technician came to check but declared that the machine was in perfect shape. His verdict was – no repairs needed, just keep using the machine. AMC was valid at that time. HOwever now IFB states that repairs were needed at that time.

So we kept using the machine with water not draining by itself – as told by IFB technician. Over the period the washing quality came down badly. Suspecting that there could be some fault with the machine (despite IFB’s verdict that machine was perfectly fine), I registered a fresh complaint for the same problem in April and May 2010.

The machine is not under AMC currently and IFB wants us to pay for the repair charges.

We assert that it is IFB’s negligence that they did not identify the problem when complaint was registered last year. If they did not carry out the repair work under AMC last year, then they should do it now – free of charge.

IFB accepts that the machine needed repairs in May 2009 itself but are not ready to own up the responsibility and get the machine repaired on their account now.

Kindly find attached all the emails with correspondence with IFB attached here.

Help us by highlighting the matter. This is unfair for the company to shrug responsibility for their negligence even if its an year old matter. We paid for AMC but what was the use of getting the repair work done from company when they provide such negligent services and do not even bother to own up their mistakes and make them good.

As a consumer, we would highly appreciate your help in this matter. Its time when we moved against unscrupulous companies collectively and ensured that they do not cheat the consumer any further.
