I heart
Obnoxious, endlessly repetitive interruptions of the programs that we tune-in to listen to. Very poorly produced and out-of-sync with the program they are spoiling. It's like going to a symphony and having it often, suddenly disrupted by little kids having a recital with untuned instruments. It's hard to believe that station owners would impose such customer-unfriendly programing on their radio audiences.
Desired outcome: shut it down.
Music you should know
I am so fed up with being bombarded with the nasty head-banger "music" several times per hour. Music you should know, indeed. I HHHHATE IT!
I listen to talk radio on iHeart radio. Not heavy metal crap.
It has been forced on me for well over a month now. Why am I even subjected to this heavy metal? I prefer pop or classical. Heavy metal is like dissonance in my ears.
Desired outcome: Remove "Music you should know"
I think they did do that but they still do put in songs in between ads that go with the stations format apparently.
Force Multiplier
I do not want to hear this false narrative misinformation. I listen to Michael Berry on Iheart, but I am going to have to look into another option, because this add regarding Force Multiplier is just spewing false narrative misinformation. I would hope that IHeart would respect their clients and know their audience. If this add continues, I and a lot of other listeners will have to stop following and contact the conservative advertisers, so that they stop advertising on IHEART. Thanks.
Desired outcome: Remove the force multiplier add
podcasts
Podcasts sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks!
Since mid-August. Only when played on iPhone. iPad still sounds fine. Fast talkers like Ben Shapiro sound ridiculous. Commercials too. Stop it! Tighten up slow talkers if you must, but one size does not fit all.
unethical behavior
Is it true that Molly Socha said iheartmedia is "...only looking at diverse hires at this time"? That is racist. Please fire Miss Socha.
Her statement clearly indicate that iHeart will be hiring people for the engineer position based soley on the color of the applicants' skin, their gender, and sexual preference. This is reprehensible. How can anyone have that mindset? Are we back in the 1950s?!
Desired outcome: Molly Socha should be fired
Molly Socha admitted that iheart media is excluding applicants for jobs based on factors other than content of character and qualifications. She should be fired. There is no place for racists in America. Molly Socha is racist and iheart media is racist if they choose to keep her as an employee. Please do the right thing. Unless iheart issues a press release clearly denouncing attitudes and beliefs like Molly's, I will most definitely be removing the iheart radio app from all my devices.
Please reach out to me about her unacceptable belief system. She is clearly racist.
Iheart interrupts programming for excessive advertising
This is 2021! Why can't IHeart arrange things so that it play its commercials when the radio station is airing a local commercial message (about a store or service not available to listeners 1000 miles away), or when the local station is reporting the weather (that people 1000 miles away won't care about)? Instead, we hear those meaningless local commercials and STILL get interruptions to the programming so that IHeart can air about 10 minutes of iHeart commercial messages. Two days in a row I had to listen to 10+ minutes of iHeart commercials and missed programming on WOR 710 AM that I was interested in. If it happens again, I'll switch to something else.
Desired outcome: Arrange the airing of iHeart commercials to occur when strictly local content is airing. They do their weather reports, traffic reports, and local commercials at designated times. It won't require a nuclear physicist to figure this out.
My desired outcome is to have ZERO commercials since I pay a dang subscription fee! Going to cancel my sub real soon, the damn commercials about AIDS testing every 15 minutes are pushing me away!
iheart radio $5.99 subscription and contact issues with iheart
My iPhone broke, my girlfriend gave me her old phone. There is no way possible to add my user name and password to that phone iheart will only accept her old free account on that phone even though her sim card was installed on another phone and my sim card was put in this phone. She has iheart radio on both phones and I have a credit card being charged every month for a service I can not use and no way to contact iheart to complain. I go on the website online and try to use my email to send a password reset and was informed an email was sent but it wasn't. I waited an hour refreshing my email several times and the email link was never sent. Not to my inbox or my spam folder so even if you do hunt for a way to contact iheart you still can not contact the company. The next $5.99 charge to my credit card will be the 5th one in a row without any service. I plan to screen shot this complaint and stop payment on the card. I see no other remedy if this can not be fixed and after 5 months I've lost faith in this company.
Desired outcome: My "desired" outcome is for iheart to allow me to use the subscription I am automatically charged and issue a credit for the 5 months I was charged and didn't receive the service
Bias political ads
I am in process of finding another music/podcast service, due to the political bias of iheartradio ONLY playing joe biden ads. For the last 4 days every commercial break has a biden for president ad. This is from [protected] EVERYDAY! They are playing them all through Rush Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin. I have yet to hear ONE TRUMP ad. Now I am neither a republican or democrap! I would say the same if it was TRUMP all the time and no biden!
Quit showing your BIAS!
IHeartMedia also does Cant Cancel Pride which basically means they are shoving gay indoctrination down people’s throats by June.
Podcast iheart commercials
Nothing but iheart commercials about iheart ipod podcast. Some as long as 10 fricken minutes! And this is their pay service! Keep in mind, this is google. Complaining to them is futile. They dont give a crap about their paying customers.
Ads
I hate the damn ads. I would love to go straight and hear my music without disrupting or unimportant ads. Please address this issue asap. I love y'alls website but I truly hate the ads. Also I am not or should not have to pay for ad free. I hope y'all plan to resolve this issue asap.
advertising
I live in SW MS, and listen to 740 KTRH/ Houston everyday. I am bombarded with obnoxious advertisements from Jackson, MS and other towns 2 hrs from where I live over, and over, and over! I'm sick of it! Why can't I just hear the regular ads from Houston? I'm on the verge of not listening to IHeart any longer and deleting it from my phone/ car and Alexa!
Same same... Listening to GenX radio and every 3rd or 4th song gets interrupted b y a damn commercial about getting tested for AIDS! Absolutely ridiculous for a paid service!
“favorites” station
I've disliked songs and they still play in my "favorites" channel if I don't like a song or an artist for that matter I should never hear that song or artist again on my " favorites" station you guys need to figure that part out if you truly want a loyal fan base. I don't know a single person who want to hear a song they have previously disliked and especially on the " favorites" station if you don't feel that it is important to give your customers what you advertise then don't be surprised when you end up without subscribers
app fixes for an update
I don't know if this happens with IOS7 users because I have IOS6, but whenever I stop the music on the iHeartRadio app and then a while later I end a phone call, the music will start playing again when I haven't even pushed play on one of my stations. It plays the music after I'm done with almost every call. Same with amber alerts; if I get an amber alert on my phone the music will start playing (both these things usually only happens when I've listened to the iHeartRadio app at least in the previous 3 hours). So if other IOS6 users are having problems similar to this please fix it and send out another update for this app! Please and thank you!

I loved listening to Texas’ WACO 100 with Zack and Jim (even tho one passed away). I loved listening to Sam and Jody on Texas’ Austin KBGO.
I want to hear local dj’s on local stations not some guy from another state! Duane wells. Pft! You’ve ruined the radio feel but taking away our local disc jockeys. Maddening! Shame on you!
Your stupid commercials are lower than anything I’ve seen.been overplayed commercials company never fix’s it they don’t care they cut out local news traffic and weather the problem is their in disgusting New York City that people are leaving I heart radio to leave disgusting nyc they are embarrassing
why are the commercials rerun every other time frame. They are playing the same commerical then the y will play another and then they play the same one the played just before. Your time software is not an automatic replacement for a human manging the commercials and yet that is what you sold these stations. You should be sued for useless crap.
The commercials are twice the volume as the songs you are listening to. If you are listening to your music at a fairly high level it sounds like your speaker is going to blow the volume gets so loud.
6/14/2023. i started the app and got slammed with at least 10 ads in a row including 5 stratight ads for wendys frostys. restarted the app and got slammed with another 7 ads in a row for home depot. cmon iheart radio there should be a option for free users to limit ads to 5 minutes every hour. theres no need for 30 minutes of ads every hour
Way too many ads. The talk show people talk for 20 min in an hour if even that the rest are ads. Real hard to listen to with so many ads. Radio never used to be a cash cow now it is.
If you search on iheart and put in "850" it comes up with black information network 850 Seattle, it doesn't offer a 100 year old well known 850 KOA AM radio station out of Denver Colorado as a option, if I advertised on Iheart I'd Sue them for past loss of revenue for this blatant shadow banning.
There's more artists to profile than Billy Joel The Beatles and Stevie Wonder
pop ups annoying ads garbage app i use to play the streams on aimp 3 now i cant your app is destroying radio period please make a stream list so we can enjoy our radio once more thank you ed
95% of songs played are cut off 20-30 seconds before the ending. Very annoying.
streaming and service is bad
Their streaming services are terrible. When you go to a good well known radio station to hear it online, you open the player and then when it plays, the stream audio player comes up saying out of the blue, Sorry, This Stream Is Not Available after 1 minute of play back. I think they need to get the IT engineers to check their streaming software, and radio...
