Spanish commercials
Over the last year it seems I've been getting more and more Spanish commercials. I went into the app today because I thought it must be in my settings and there is nothing to update my language. How can I stop these from coming across my ads. I do not speak Spanish and do not wish to listen to them. If I listened to a Spanish station I wouldn't expect english. If I wanted to hear Spanish commercials, is listen to Spanish stations. Am I being forced into paying commercial free? Or do I need to find other platforms to listen to what I like? If you ask me, it's a waste of air time for them because I'm not understanding what is behind sold.
Incomplete podcast ads
55KRC (Cincinnati) - I've noticed lately an increase in podcast ads. They're very compelling! Unfortunately, they get cut off, so I only hear partial ads. November 1, 3:08 pm: I heard a very disturbing juxtaposition. The podcast was about a rape investigation. I don't remember the line, but it was something like "... before he attacked me he said..." (podcast ad gets cut off/lyric for Sean Hannity show begins) "Well we're coming to your city... And if you want a little bang in your ying yang come along." Sorry, but this is what I heard!
I recommend that podcast ads have a certain time parameter so that they don't get cut off.
Commercial ads
There are ads being shown of inappropriate women in lingerie advertising a sex store “Adult Expectations” while I’m listening/watching your app on my tv with children around. While I’m listening to Christian music at that…These ads are inappropriate to be used for a family type music app.
I will not be using this if these ads are going to be on there.
Desired outcome: Not showing inappropriate ads
Btw they promote LGBTQ+ too.
The company does have a Christian station probably so they can make money off of people that say they are Christians. They probably hate Christians at least the real ones and only want to profit off of the lukewarm.

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While IHeartRadio / iHeartMedia has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 5% of 34 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
700WLW Talk Radio Cincinnati
So much repetition of the same commercials and way too many commercials for iHeart themselves for advertising. They talk about how iHeart has no "breaks" in the programming while it constantly cuts out and not because of my fiber optic internet service. This only happens on 700WLW and not sister stations. They are also clueless about who their listeners are. 700WLW has a long time loyal listener base for "talk" radio and their longtime personalities. Does iHeart really think these listeners really care about what the top 3 U2 or Journey tunes were?
Don't get me wrong, I like U2 and Journey and the many others they use to push their "music" programming channels but this is "talk" radio and we really don't care to hear these repeated over and over.
Desired outcome: Address above problems. I would not purchase products or services from advertisers as I am so tired of hearing the same ads.
Radio personality
Jay recher on wdae 95.3 in tampa from the j and Z show said go kick a puppy really I felt this was not right and not a good thing to say I feel these radio personalities get away with a lot by saying things that make other people feel hurt the shows on this station are very good and hope this show gets some advice on how to talk to people they like to make fun of people
Spanish only commercials
I don't know what happened but all of the sudden KIIS FM 102.7 has all these Spanish only commercials. I don't think it's right, i'm sorrry. I'm fine with the ones that are in english and spanish, but spanish only is ridiculous. This is not Mexico, it's the USA. I am 100% Italian. I can speak and understand Italian but I don't expect that the radio stations are going to do Italian commercials. I think this is prejudice behavior against the majority of us that do not speak or understand spanish. I have been a listener for years and i'm ready to switch stations even though I love Ryan Seacrest.
Desired outcome: quit with the all spanish commercials. make them english/spanish combo.
I don’t get Spanish commercials. Maybe it had to do with your settings tbh.
I'm tired of the Spanish commercials. I don't speak Spanish and I'm listening to an English station, why am I hearing so many Spanish commercials. I use iHeartRadio so I don't have to worry about losing my signal, but I'm thinking about either going back to Sirius or directly to the stations, something other than iHeartRadio. If I spoke Spanish, I'd listen to Spanish stations. Stop!
I say the same thing, I stream WHJY (Providence RI) and suddenly they have commercials fully in Spanish it's so annoying, I have to turn it down. Agreed, I don't mind a little Spanish but the station I listen to is NOT a Spanish station. I feel they should STOP running them...now please.
Jeffrey Kuhner Show Boston
I am a Conservative Republican who listens to 1200 AM in Boston. I have become disturbed and very alarmed by the anti-American propaganda that has been emanating from Mr. Kuhner. He lies, for instance he stated that by giving tanks to Ukraine, American troops will have to be sent to Ukraine to operate the tanks and service them.
He reports Russian propaganda as factual news. Today he was fuming because the US labeled Putin a "war criminal!" He calls the Ukrainians Nazis! Sound familiar? He is being influenced by supposed 'listeners" in Russia who communicate with him and freely broadcasts their "supposed" feelings. For instance today he reported that the people of Russia would never let Putin be tried for war crimes and they will use nuclear weapons to protect him because they are a proud people!
Since when did iHeartRadio become Russian State Media? I haven't heard such anti-American propaganda like this in the US since what went on during the Vietnam War frankly.
Can you imagine if this were 1939 and he was trashing Poland and supporting Hitler? Because that is basically the same dynamics here. Have you no shame?
Desired outcome: Monitor Mr. Kuhner and stop him from speaking falsehoods as fact, stop him from broadcasting Russian propaganda as news and stop him from being influenced by his so-called "listeners" from Russia.
Live radio is interrupted by local ads
I listen to my NY classic rock station from home in Florida because I love the DJs and the format. However, ads have recently interrupted the broadcast near the beginning of a segment and run for so long that the segment is over.
Q104.3 and Jim Kerr Rock & Roll Morning Show are my favorites and I am so frustrated by the very long local interruptions.
Just now, a segment started at 8:49 and was interrupted at 8:51 and the live station resumed at 8:57. The interruption was not the station's regular commercials but a takeover of the airway!
Desired outcome: I would like live radio to be just that - live and not interrupted. Please respond.
IHeart loves to delete portions of the Armstrong and Getty Show because of their own censorship standards.
It seems that IHeart censors portions of the Armstrong and Getty show on a daily basis. During today's A+G 1st hour podcast you deleted the story of hoof and mouth disease breakout in England before the Covid pandemic. Don't you trust the people to make decisions for themselves? IHeart must think you are the final arbiter of truth. LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE!
Just because a portion of the show was not broadcast does not mean it was censured or even deleted. It may have been human or technical error.
If the omission was intentional, there would be plenty of reasoning for the deletion that we the listeners would not be privy to.
iHeartRadio Podcast Service
Terrible user experience! There is a podcast that I listened to regularly without issues before they moved to iHeartRadio. After the podcast moved the the iHeartRadio platform the experience has been frustrating, The podcast cuts out and frequently shuts down completely requiring it to be restarted only to shut down on a random basis. Becoming a paid iHeart listener is out of the question having read the negative experiences other users have had especially from paid subscribers.
Desired outcome: If a paid subscription provides better access and quality of service then the unpaid podcast experience must improve significantly. There is no incentive to pay for this service.
Trojan Bareskin Raw Ad
I listen to WHEB on iHeart while I'm at work because I like the station and I need to listen to something while I'm working. This Trojan ad is ridiculous in both the amount of times a day it plays as well as the woman practically orgasming. It's definitely embarrassing to have a new employee or your boss in the office when it sounds like you're watching porn. I've had to stop listening to this station while I'm at work because it really paints my choice of music in a bad light.
Desired outcome: Revamp this ad or remove it from the line up
Trojan bareskin raw
Do I have to listen to the woman purr about spine tingling, earth shaking, blah blah blah. It is a trigger for me. I'm very sensitive about sexually suggestive audio and video. It plays constantly, like most of the commercials. Clearly I Heart is not concerned about their customers. I keep getting this complaint back with a warning that it is not long enough as to attract attention. What? I have to write a book about my compaint when it is a simple issue? Why play games with your customers? There is that long enough?
Desired outcome: take it off the air or out of the series of ads you have chosen for me
Elvis Duran radio show
In early 2021 the morning radio format on Star 104 in Erie Pa changed for the worse. In the morning the so called radio show WILL NOT play music but MAYBE 1 song within the half hour I can listen. I DO NOT want to listen to a load of talky talky crap being spewed by a clown and a bunch of chattering hyenas. It is a RADIO show... That means they SHOULD BE PLAYING MUSIC!
The ENTIRE crew Needs to be FIRED and replaced by COMPENTENT radio hosts who will play music!
Desired outcome: The Elvis Duran so called radio show be taking off the air. and the hosts BANNED from radio permanently
Too many adds.
I have been listening to 92.5 KJJY through ihearts streaming service on my Sonos for several years. In the last month or so, the advertisements have interrupted songs, the weather, the traffic, and even other ads. This is getting worse and making streaming useless. I will never buy a Geico product or take a Rocket Mortgage again! Local stations do not have this issue, so I know it is a streaming issue.
Desired outcome: Please sync the ads better with the station's material.
They do replace it with local ads for the non local stations.
Amanda Holden
At 9.48 this morning she said she loves the Ouija board. How irresponsible is that. I am a psychic medium and it is people like me that have to clear up the aftermath of people using the ouija board. In stead of sounding cleaver engage the brain first. Her comment encourages people to use such a nasty device.
Desired outcome: On air apologise
Broadcasts interference
Today, March 15, 2022 during the first segment of the Mark Levin broadcast (approximately 7:25pm Central time) I Heart interrupted the subject broadcast with poorly timed/coordinated commercials. This is not the first such interruption of the Levin broadcasts. Other radio hosts broadcasts have also been interrupted via commercials and local announcements. I Recommend IHeart Radio communicate, coordinate and cooperate with Levin and all others using your services; to mitigate such occurrences from happening again.
Desired outcome: Stop interfering with broadcasts
I so agree with this. I’ll be listening to a talk radio show then it will go to commercial like normal. Then a few minutes go by and I realize that iHeart has gone to some weird news reports or podcast sample. I tap to pause then hit play and then I’m in the middle of the show I was listening to! Makes me so mad!
790WKRD Underdogs
Have been a loyal listener for several years going back to the Joe B and Denny shows. I like the local Louisville Cardinals support and sports-theme of the broadcast. Tony is passionate about the Cardinals and Dave is very knowledgeable about sports. Dwight knows nothing about sports and is not funny. His un-informed and unintelligible drivel just makes me shake my head and switch the channel. Lately, I don’t even turn it on and keep checking other channels to get my sports fix. I miss the Underdogs.
Desired outcome: The Underdogs were fine before adding Dwight, and the station needs to find another outlet for him.
FREAKING COMMERCIALS (same ones) every 3 or 4 songs!!!
Not only do they play the same commercials every 3-4 songs all day long, but they usually interrupt a song I'd actually like to hear! I pay $5.99/month for this crap, that is going to stop when this month runs out! They've taken enough of my $$ just to aggravate me til I am fed up!
Desired outcome: END ALL COMMERCIALS FOR SUBSCRIBERS!
Advertising
Over the last 2+ days I have noticed an abundance (approximately 2 ads per hour) of ads for different penile ailments (ED & Peyronie's Disease) during my work day. I listen to iHeartRadio Station WMZQ out of Washington DC in my office from 8-4 Monday-Friday and am finding this not only horribly repetitive but borderline inappropriate for the workplace/workday hours.
I understand that these ailments are important, but perhaps these ads should be moved to another time of the day or run not quite as often.
Desired outcome: Greatly reduce the amount of these ads per workday
Podcast
The sound levels of the ads for iHeartRadio shows within iHeartRadio podcasts are too loud. No other ads within the iHR podcasts on Spotify are as loud as the ads for iHR shows. It hurts to have them blasted into your ears and poses a health risk to have ads so loud as it can be damaging to a person's hearing. This is completely irresponsible.
Desired outcome: The sound levels of ads within the iHeartRadio podcasts on Spotify need to be reduced and kept in balance with the show and the rest of the ads.
