I am in a clinical trial re: the effects of MS on the ability to develop strong Covid antibodies. They take large amounts of blood 2x per year and then email me an electronic gift card after each blood draw. This time, I was sent an email at the end of October telling me they were sending an electronic Vanilla Visa but the card never showed up.
I let them know this and they told me they had been having trouble with the website, so they tried to send me a card again and it worked...only the card that showed up was USED. It had about left on it. I told them what happened and they sent me a replacement card today and the same issue occurred. The electronic Vanilla Visa had about left out of .
Whatever scam this is, a respectable clinical trial is likely left with useless Vanilla Visa's and I am out 100.00. I spent and hour on the phone with Vanilla Visa customer service but that was completely useless. They told me it could take up to several months. Honestly, what kind of company allows these despicable issues to drag out for months without addressing them ASAP. Especially when it involves sick people?!
Claimed loss: $100.00
Desired outcome: Don't make me wait months on end to get a resolution to this issue-refund the $100.00 I should have gotten from the cards
