Last year, I a member of the India Today Book Club with membership no. ITBC [protected] placed an order along with prepayment in the form of bank draft for 4 books. Three books were received but one book 'Botanica' was not sent on the ground that it is not available in stock and will be sent once it is available. Even after passage of about 9 months, there has been no further communication. I desire that the ordered book is sent at the earliest.

I had taken this offer from ITBC wherein they were providing free return airticket and Adidas bag on buying their Books Buddy pack.When i got the pack 3 weeks ago there were no free gifts, instead they give me some codes and numbers to enter to register for free gifts on their website.It has ben 3 weeks now and the web does not accept the codes given by them.When you call the call center you get unhelpful representatives who parrot lines and the 5 times I called I was told supervisors are in a meeting.I have been writing to their mail response team and all theese people write back is to give them the codes which i have provided 4 times but to no avail.Are there more people who have been cheated like this by ITBC? I am really disgusted and feel cheated by their behaviour and scam.

I too subscribed for few music CDs along with shoe & book pacage offer with ITBC.
I ordered it on 30thSep08. But i didnt receive my parcel. After continuous emails, they replied me like "Your parcel was sent on 16thOctober08. They have given a consignment number for the postal which they have sent. But they didnt mention where to track it, whether its a normal post or registered post or speed post.
I have sent emails many times and i called the customer care also. But no positive reply. They keep on replying like "We have sent the postal and check with your post man"
Really the customer care of ITBC is sick, I think my money Rs2500 is lost...
Also in my invoice (which i got via email), they have given web id, membership number. I tried login using this details in ITBC website. Its not working. I dont know what these people are doing...

I am also a member of this book club and get my ordered books on time. Somehow, if somebody has some problem with book club, he can contact by phone or email and I definitely say to my friends that they will resolve your problem as soon as possible.
I got an offer from india today book club through IRCTC for a Swatch Watch & benetton Watch for Rs. 2150/-
inclusive of Delivery charges.
Amount Paid in Advance : Rs 500/- Order Placed : 16th Feb, balance to be paid on delivery
Now its almost 2 months i have not recieved my package, it really bad and feel cheated from a Brand like indiatoday
Every time i Call up customer executibes give false promises & excuses, while booking the order it was told
the order will be delivered within 18 working days.
Stop Cheating people for publicity, stop giving offers which you cant fulfill
I wish I had read these complaints before falling prey to the online fraud perpetuated by the India Today Book Club.
Is there a mechanism by which there is redressal of such complaints

I was also contact Ur customer care 1 month but Ur managements are not give me the good response u can book my order 2 nd time but not give me the booking ID yesterday i call Ur customer care they told me Ur book this scheme.

India Today Book Club is an unethical organisation. The only motive they have in life is making money by fooling people. I think all the unfortunate victims of ITBC should stop their peers from participating in any offer from this fraud book club. As a fact there are over 2677 online compalints are registered against ITBC, god knows how many of them have been rectified or even attended. I think the consumer forum should consider this as a serious thing.
I seriously all to discourage your friends and peers to participate in any of the offers of ITBC. India Today Book Club is a FRAUD
