Hey can you please help me ive made an order but international oddities does'nt answer I really wanted this since I want to quit smoking cannabis for good but still will need something harm free to relax please try to help me ill give you my info and order number if needed. I figure that because complaintsboard its famous you can help me contact international oddities please help me if you can god will repay
kept money order never sent product or returned calls
I spoke w the general manager and owner Summer, before sending in payment of $145 to make sure address was correct and she told me to ship money order and order form directly addressed to her at International Oddities 2785 P.C.H. E-801 Torrance, Ca 90505. I ordered the buy 3 cans get a 4th free deal. I told her I was going to overnight the money order and order form and wanted to pay the $30 expedited shipping to get the order shipped faster on her end. She told me dont pay the $30 for rush shipping just pay $10 for the shipping since xmas was approaching they were rushing all orders out regardless of what option we picked. I overnighted my payment to her which i tracked she recieved on wed. 12/14/16 @ 12:43noon. Its now 12/24/16 and i have left her 3 voicemails in the last 10 days and she never returns my calls. I have tried using the "contact us" page on their website where they promise they will get back to you in 2hrs and it says they have an internal server error and cant take my message. I call the 1800 number and its all automated info and then disconnects. I have never in my life dealt w such an unprofessionall company or "customer service" manager. They basically just stole my money and ignore my calls. I feel i got royally screwed
Oh i forgot to add I really do love their product. Krypto and bahli bubble taste freakin great and for those of you who cant smoke the real deal due to whatever reason, it is a good substitute. My problem is w how they ignore customer voicemails for weeks, hold onto your money and you have no way of talking to anyone. Not returning someones voicemails after you have given them alot of your hard earnex money is wrong on many diff levels. At this point Im not sure if they lost my money, or what since no one returns calls or emails.
The manager of Customer service returned my call 12/28 and explained many of them were out of the office for holidays and also their computer system went down due to a virus. She is currently working w me on tracking my order she says was sent out the 21rst and isnt sure why i never recieved product.So she is helping me w the issue. I plan on continueing to be an IO customer if all works out. she called from the main customer services number of 310-702-2696. Since she called and was very sincere i truly believe it was due to reasons given on her end. Also I have read USPS is extremely behind on package shipments. Since she has contacted me I feel that it is still a company i want to continue business with. I still feel they need a better way of communication w customers a more direct route but if their system did in fact have a virus and went down this would explain the internal server error i kept recieving when i tried emailing them directly from their site. So in a nutshell all I can say is I believe their CSR manager is doing a good job especially considering the vast ammount of individual and wholesale customers. If you trully want a good smoking alternative this is by far the best product and is worth the wait. 1 hr later Summer the CSR manager and owner called me back again to let me know since package is lost in the USPS abyss, she is sending out a bulk order of what i previously ordered to make it right. She said if by chance i get both packages consider it a xmas-bday gift as today is my bday. This is truly the way customer service should work. I am at this point very pleased that the company does make it right in a situation such as this. So in a nutshell if anyone reading this is wondering should i buy from I.O? My answer is yes. The product is great and although at times it is hard to reach them (especially week of holidays) they will do whatever they have to do to make the customer happy. the crap they sell is dangerous
They don't test the crap they sell and they certainly don't warn anyone of the dangerous effects. My brother ordered some products from them and a week after receiving them he killed himself. He had never shown any suicidal tendencies before and after doing some research i find out these products they're peddling without FDA regulation can cause psychosis, heart attacks and more. When I emailed them and told them what had happened they basically sent me an "oh well" reply. This junk is evil and this company doesn't care that they're killing people. Please stay away from it.

Ha-ha, You got called out. Shouldn't be making ### up. I have ordered recently and have done so before from legal oddities and have only had pleasant experiences. No Health Side Effects have been received to myself or any of my friends or family after a very prolonged use of the products. I don't believe/refuse to believe that their product could have caused your loss.

bogus claims
i bought a can of "krypto" bud. smelled pretty good & strong. tasted ok, but only gave a "baby" buzz, really just a tease barely noticeable. i'll hand it them for their marketing savvy-ness, all the pictures & bs "testimonials really are allureing ! but product is not what i was lead to believe. won't be ordering from them again. chalk it up to a $45 lesson learned.

I was desperate to smoke some bud, so i figured i'd try this stuff and see how it was. Yes, the delivery was fast and yes, it came with free papers and rolling machine, but the actual product was complete ###. Smells bad, hurts your throat (and i am not a pussy), tastes gross, and did absolutely nothing. The resin ### you get tastes like burnt rubber. I was highly disappointed and felt really stupid, but what did i expect? Its my own damn fault! A couple days later my dealer finally texted me. Thankfully! FYI - Anyone who has ordered from International Oddities and has discovered it is a total scam and paid by debit or credit card may call their bank or card issuer and dispute the charge. I did get a number from my bank to try to resolve the issue which is [protected] but I got voice mail for a general manager and my phone call was not returned. I encourage everyone who has been scammed to dispute the charge and hopefully you can obtain a refund. Also apparently the only "legal" product which was supposedly somewhat worthwhile K2 Blonde has been banned nationalwide as of December 19 so don't be fooled into buying anything else.

I ordered 2 months ago the skunk from IO and have yet to get my order I spoke to a rude Gen manager named summer and she called me a liar saying my order wasn't paid for but yet I have a charge on my cc. Anyways summer wouldn't give me her bosses contact info and continued to say she was the top dog . I have emailed IO but to no avail they don't care about loosing my $50 order but if 10 people complain maybe they will start doing something like firing Summer i just want to get my order to see if it was worth it.

This company gives the impression to the consumer that their beautiful buds are "Hybrids" which to most people in the know means a hybrid of the marijuana plant spliced in with some other legal herb plant that packs a legal wallop of chemicals like Kava Kava, Valerian, Ginkoba Biloba, etc. Therefore, you get the distinct impression and expectations that their "smoke" will at least taste like the real deal and have a noticeable buzz, "Guess Again". The website claims that they DON'T use tobacco, but in fact their products all taste so similar that they have to be flavored TOBACCO. I was sucked in by the beautiful pictures and the hype rather than reading this complaint forum, and spent around $210 for utter trash. As has been said before by many other reviewers here, International Oddities offers "NO REFUND WHATSOEVER". Now I truly believe that all the testimonials on the website are mythical ### made up by I.O. advertising department to boost their sales. In the old days when false advertising and misrepresentation got you shut down (and/or) fined, this company would have been history from the get go, and most likely would have never entered the market. Clearly someone in California state government is covering for these SOB's, otherwise they wouldn't have stayed in business for (supposedly 30 years) Some of the "high signs" to look for - "We Don't Discuss Effects Of Our Products", the word "Strong" describing some of their product lines, which can simply mean harsh (and/or) strong smoke. I was trying to find a cannabis substitute and found this company advertising its "legal buds". I bought one can of their "Krypto" - and let me tell you - the stuff not only tasted AWFUL, smelled AWFUL, and did not give me a buzz AT ALL! I am very upset to have been SCAMMED! If you want a good substitute, I recommend trying any of the K2 products - at least THOSE WORK! I bought this because it claimed to be real, natural buds...and NO REFUNDS, so you're SCREWED!

does not look like what is advertised, and smells like some kind of bad chemical.Ordered 3 can spesial, and all 3 cans plus the free can smell identically the same. They say that the sell bud, these are not buds, just a bunch of bad smelling stuff, that is rolled into a ball.

international oddities is a fluke
International Oddities Inc. posted on there web site that the legal herb, 'KRYPTO', Was rated nine out of ten as the best legal herb there is. They also have comments poasted on there web site from people who supposedly used the product and rated it to the highest level, saying, "Between six people, 3 bowls were burned and it made them incapable of driving. I orderd a half for myself based on the 5 star raitings and the excelent comments from people who supposedly used the product. I am half way through the bag and "ABSOLUTLLY" nothing happens. This product is 0% of what they make it seem to be. They dont even come close to distrubiting the product that they clame and something should be done. My comment: DONT BUY FROM INTERNATIONAL ODDITIES Inc. THE COMPANY IS A FLUKE!
I ordered a can of Krypto of the International Oddities website well over a month ago and I have yet to even receive a shipping notice. I've looked all over the internet for a number to call and none work. Don't give me the bull**** about how the number is on the site, Let me tell you, it's just an automated recording. OK, I just received my 3+1 more can special (Krypto, Stunk, A'hia & Skyscraper). In keeping this one short, here's my analogy. This is only the cream or cherry part to the sundae. You need to add "you're own ice cream to it. I'd say 50/50 ratio has been successful for me. Each one is very similar except the A'hia which is not clumped and formed together (an actual plant budding). Only problem is the A'hia gave me nothing as far as an effect. Krypto & Stunk smelled very similar (yes, like potpourri) and after much vaporizing (approx. 15-20 min.) it did bring some relaxation. But mixed w/ the real deal, it was just right. Think of it as sort of an enhancer.

After much research, I came to the conclusion that I just need to try it for myself. Take it from me, dont! Its complete #ing garbage. Bunch of herbs probably oregano, catnip, wild dagga etc.. Mashed and sprayed together. No buds. Mashed up garbage. Whoever is in charge of marketing for this company is pretty slick, and a #ing #. All these jokers need to be shut down. Dont even think one site is better than the other either, because they re all same products except i. O fancies it up with better packaging and presentation. I hope one day someone takes the time to shut all these #ing people down. I'll be there supporting or signing whatever I can to see it through. It is irresponsible to sell and promote products like this. Thanks for my bag of # cooking herbs you crooks. At first I gave i. O the benefit of a doubt, but I was fooled sadly. charged me twice
I used to smoke allot of weed in the 80's (Showing my age right there) and I have always enjoyed it. I only ocaisonally am able to find some these days but when I do, I use it for medicinal purposes; I am Bi-Polar and it is known that pot is the best drug for Bi-polar people and there are many studies to have it legalized medcinaly for this purpose. Getting older, I was concerned with buying illegal drugs so I did some research online for legal alternative buds and came across International Oddities. I decided to place an order, which I really couldn't afford because I am on disability, but my current meds leave me feeling like something is missing so I justified spending $90.00 on legal buds at International Oddities.
I placed an online credit card order (Debit Card from SSD) and was told at the last stage that there was something wrong with my card, do not use your browsers back button but use this button below to go back and try again; so, I did, and reentered all my information...same problem at the end, so, like an idiot, I clicked their button and tried again and got the message that my card was declined. So I gave up, screw it. I decided to look at my SSD debit card online statement and holy crap, I got charged $90.00 TWICE for an order that never went through, I got no confirmation number on their site nor an email saying thank you for your order etc.
Come to find out, after doing research online, International Oddities does this ALLOT and screws people out of money. BEWARE PEOPLE! There are NO refunds at all, PERIOD...even if it is their screw up. There is an 800 number on their site so I called it and had to listen to a 10 minute babble of how wonderful their site is, etc. and finally got to choose 3 choices, how to order online, how to order by mail and press 3 for telephone orders...so I pressed #3. I explained my situation to the woman who was actually quite nice despite what I have heard about ### sales people on the phone from this company. She typed something into her computer...for all I know she was typing an email to her mom, and said that she would have them call me to correct the situation. I should have asked who "Them" was but forgot to I guess. So far after 3 days there is no return phone call. There is an email address on their website and I tried that but that is as useless as trying to email the pope.
My SSD debit card statement still shows 2 $90.00 pending cash online payments and the $180 is in cyber limbo and I'll probably never see it again. I did call my debit card company and the only thing they told me was to contact the company and cancel your order...HA, International Oddities could give a CRAP about their customers.
For some reason, like an idiot, I did a ton of research online on International Oddities only after my issue and found that this is common practice for the company because they stand behind their no refund policy...so basically they screw you and tuff crap for you. I personally cannot comment on their product seeing as though I never even got to really place my order, but after my online research I have found that their stuff is crap and you might as well open up a tea bag and smoke that because you'll get the same effect...ZILTCH!
There are reputable companies out there that sell great products like shamansgarden.com where you can buy wild dagga that actually works and costs WAY less, but be careful, MOST of the companies that sell this sort of stuff are fake and sell crap pressed with sugar and water and colored with dye.
So, stay AWAY from International Oddities unless you want to take the chance of getting ripped off of your money with no hopes of getting it back. Sometimes it takes a bite in the butt to learn a lesson!
Actually I did but forgot to mention it in my complaint. I was never charged for any product in the end and did get ALL my money back credited to my account. Their products are crap and do not work so I am very happy that I was never charged nor received my order. Anyone who wants a legal alternative should try either Red Dragon, Black Dragon or K2 Blonde, that stuff actually works and is amazingly VERY effective.

What I think is funny is that you never even bothered to call back. If that was me I would have called and told them the problem. fraud and cheating
I am just posting this hoping others may read it and save themselves some money. I saw some flashy ads for 'real legal buds' from international oddities, that took me to the website is internationaloddities.com that said experience the pleasure of real bud, so I clicked them. I was amazed that I could buy this stuff legally, so I immediately placed a trial order for some of their krypto and dro bud as they say it is their 'best'. Despite reading some negative info online, I was still intrigued at these products, so I splurged and spent like 60.00 on this crap. It was not even smokable. The krypto was worse than the 'dro' but neither deserve those types of marijuana names. My throat was on fire and my lungs feel like I have weights inside them when I inhale this junk. I cannot explain how bad it tasted or smelled, so anyhow save your money. Best of all when I emailed they told me 'no refunds'. I am going to try elsewhere before I completely give up on this type of product. I cannot believe this company is still in business selling this bunk crap. they should change the krypto name to kryptic because it may just kill you after you smoke it.

I recently ordered a can of "dro". I placed the order on september 26th 2011 and I received my order 2 days later using standard groud shipping. From long beach california to western mass in 2 days, thats fast. Thats not my problem. My problem is the product is nothing like it is advertised. The weight was just under 1oz. Seen the ads for international oddities many times so I thought I would give it a shot. What a bad idea. A waste of money. $45 for the can and $10 for shipping. Thats $55 I will never see again. hey i just ordered from international oddities on monday and today is thursday and i never received my order. but stupidly after i placed my order i noticed they only ship to billing address and i had them ship to another address. am i screwd? are they even going to send it at all? they have no way to contact them on their website and the 800 number doesnt even work
this company is a rip off and all the comments about them being anything but are from the company itslef read all the other complaints and all the possitive comments are the same. i was STUPID enought to purchase some of thier dro it smelled like chewing tabacco and smoking it was horrible but i didnt stop because i wanted to share with eveyone out there what would happen if you did smoke the stuff for a long period of time. it made me extremely ill and i ended up going to the doctor with complaints of chest pains told him what i was trying and gave him a sample. my doc had it anilized and come to find out there are extremely harmfull chemicals in this [censor] that proplonged use can cause cancer, not reffering to the fact that it is a tabacco based product but the other [censor] they put in it so all in a nut shell if you smoke it you will die!
I sell IO products in a brick-and-mortar store and have return customers who buy it regularly. They must like it or why would they drive to my store and share their hard-earned money with my business? And OF COURSE they can't say what they sell will get you high, just like I can't say that to MY customers. BECAUSE SELLING ANYTHING OVER THE COUNTER (read: 'not a prescription') THAT WILL GET YOU HIGH IS ILLEGAL. Which would be why they cannot refund money to someone who didn't get high from the legal buds. (duh).
I believe after being a reader of hightimes for over 20 yrs & seeing International Oddities advertised in it for just as long, i am to believe they are a reputable company. Legalbuds was found to have done wrong doing against them and after reading up more on them (GLH), i saw they have an F with the bbb. For idiots out there, that's Better Business Bureau! I will continue my research further on but i'm assuming i'll be placing an order despite all the haters.

I bought some herbal products from International Oddities after reading their reviews and watching several online videos they provide for their customers. All bogus and lies. Product nothing like their ads, I didn't even bother trying what had I bought from them.
I wanted to contact them and there is no phone number or address to make contact. The only number they give is: [protected] which takes you to a long-long ad and then ordering line...nothing else offered, total automation, no live person or forward number.
Don't buy from them, all sugar coated flavored pressed pipe or chewing tobacco. Not real like they've describe, garbage and no contact email or phone number.

Why on earth are all of you buying this garbage when you can now move to one of four states where real cannabis is legal? Sheesh, this isn't 1974 and what are you people? 14 year old boys? I bought skyscraper and paid the 30.00 for overnight shipping...6 days later my 'overnight" fake bake arrived... now i can review the product honestly. Honestly ..it SUCKS! the only thing decent about it is the can it came in...Ill use it to store something worth storing in.

A me and my wife ordered $250 dollars worth of IO and its just tobacco we don't smoke cigarettes. At all when I contact the 619 # the old lady told me yesterday that it was tobacco. And I know she had no reason to lie. She gave me Summers fat nasty ### number 313# and she was shocked that the lady told the truth that intact it is a high over price can of Tobacco! So this deception is legal over the Internet. I'm currently trying to contact BBB on this bogus scam wish i could had found & read these reports before we spent $250 dirty ###!
As all the other people who bought this, I was skeptical at first, and for good reason. despite the bad reviews I decided to get some anyways, and seeing if it had a flavor to it, as that what I was looking for, a flavorful smoke. (after this experience I bought a hookah and some shisha with much better results.) I smoked the bud I got from I.O. which was packaged nicely and had some nice gifts with it. (being black o resin [censored] and a roller and some pure hemp papers) after smoking half of my half oz of panama gold bud in a pipe and joints, I had a slight head-change, an actual high! but remember, that was after smoking a 1/4 oz, and lasted only about a half hour. within 3 days I smoked all of it. It had a odd flavor, not the best but better than cigarette tobacco. I also got one of the worst sore throats of my life after smoking it all. after my throat quit hurting, I ordered a hookah on ebay along with some herbal shisha. the day it arrived I assembled the hookah and loaded a bowl of the sticky gooey molasses known as shisha. the flavor was strawberry. I lighted a coal, stuck it on top of the bowl, and enjoyed a very relaxing smoke session with some friends, and the best thing about shisha is that it lasts about a half hour to an hour, depending on how fast you smoke and how much you put in the large hookah bowl. the main thing I notice between tobacco shisha and herbal shisha is how intense the flavor is, also the tobacco shisha is slightly more harsh. So, if your'e a smoker like me trying to get a flavorful smoke, buy a hookah and some shisha, get some friends, and have a good 'ol time. BTW, a little MJ on top of the shisha makes it oh so very nice. don't get fooled by I.O.'s propaganda, they are nothing but a greedy company trying to get your money with a sh!itty product.

I just recently moved to a small town where I don't know anyone I am a marijuana smoker and when I ran out I didn't know where else to turn since I don'tknow anyone here so I went on line and started a search and found I.O. I looked at all the products and decided on the stunk can I received my order in about 4 days and was very excited about it I opend it up and it looked nice but smelt like catnip I went ahead and rolled it up and smoked it and NOTHING no buzz plus it tasted bad and made my throat burn I totally wasted my money on this fake ### the only good thing I got from my order was the rolling device and papers the lil baggie with the sample of hash was also ### I wasted 50 bucks on this ### if they sold it on the streets theyd of gotten their assss kicked by now I was very dissapointed what a ### lie really pisses mesmooth tha f*** off
I agree IO is complete crap. If you look at the dates of the fake supporting post it's obvious the owner is only posting more lies. All of their different name sites link to each other. If you search for "legal bud" you will find what look like normal forums with posts saying how great this fake garbage is. The problem is the forums are made up by these criminals.
I've found the WHO IS info online and am in the process of filing formal complaints in the business owners state and the state the websites are hosted in. He's lucky I'm letting the law handle it.
