There were multiple times (1/21/23, 2/6/23 & 3/16/23) that I was locked out of my device and had to pay the $75.00 fee plus $20.00 to get it recalibrated. I would get locked out for not blowing in my car after I shut it off and went inside my house, although I would return to my car within an hour maybe 2 hours and blow in the device and have no problems with getting a negative reading. I lost my job in March 2023 due to Domestic Violence. I had spoken to Customer Service multiple times in regard to not being able to afford the device any longer. I had even asked if my device could be removed since I was only ordered to keep it in my car for 3 months (12/08/2022-3/16/23). Rather than help me get it removed and stop payments, or even respond to my inquiry as if my device had been installed for 3 months or not, they just continued to bill me. I was being billed for a monthly service fee for service that I was no longer using. When I say no longer using it was no longer transmitting data back, I was no longer able to blow in the device at all. As 3/7/23 I had a balance of $137.89 I made a payment on 3/11/23 for $134.89 leaving a balance of $3.00. After that everything went downhill. when a payment was made in attempt to pay off new charges, I would be billed new charges again for a service I was not receiving.
Claimed loss: 7 payments @ $56.89 (6/22, 6/8, 5/25, 5/11, 4/27, 4/13, 3/30) = $398.235 payments @ $52.89 (8/31, 8/17, 8/3, 7/20, 7/6) =$264.453 times for @$75.00 lockout fee +$20.00 recalibration (3/16, 2/6, 1/21) = $285.00.Totaling = $947.68
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a credit for the service billed when device no longer sent or received data, address to return equipment & letter to Oregon DMV that I completed successfully the service provided in order to comply with the requirements.
