I live at Unit 236 The Village Estate in Centurion... I hope someone reads this and realizes how inconvenienced and how unfairly I am been treated.
I am a single mum with 2 school going kids who does not have alot of extra funds to play around with... there my budget is of utmost importance as it keeps me able to look after and feed my kids for the month.
Yesterday I bought lights in the morning because I got paid I bought 300 which made my balance 317... please see attached... I got such a shock when I recieved a message this morning saying I have less than 200... cause I know what my usage is and I don't spend more that 30 or 40 a day...
When I called in to query cause after 10 messages on the whatsapp group went unanswered only for a consultant to tell me I have 40 lights left and the rest was deducted because you guys never charge me for water and sanitation from the 13th of the month..
I have a big problem with that... this is not my fault... firstly I was not even notified of this.. no one told me that this happened and my account was going to be deducted in this manner... I work from home what would have happened if I was just disconnected in the middle of my work day.
Secondly I budgeted for my lights... the amount I put in would have lasted me more than a week... where do I go now for that extra money for my lights now...
This is not acceptable... I am very disappointed and totally upset with this... it has left me now in a unexplainable situation...300 may seem less to some but to me it is alot cause every cent makes a difference in my life.
I want a senior manager to explain to me what I must do now... u guys deducted my lights without me knowing why and without my permission... so I would like to know what I must do now.
I am waiting for your response, this is definitely a hello Peter and a consumers board complaint.
To make matters worse I emailed Ismart on the 26/10/2023 and no one had called me back..
