Ordered my son a pair of shoes based off the features description stating the shoes had elasticized laces. The shoes we received however DO NOT have elasticized laces and we are having to pay 8.00 to be able to ship them back.
Seeing as how online the features for the shoes say elasticized laces we shouldn't have to pay to return them since that description was false.
The mistake made was not my own but rather journeys.com.

I entered store 10/22/2021 at or about 4:00pm browsing over ten minutes and not one employee offered to help or acknowledge me and the store was empty. A Caucasian entered the store and was greeted properly definitely poor customer service and I feel it was racially motivated

I bought my daughter ugg boots she wore them once. they didnt have any of her size in any of the styles in the story. they had to be ordered and shipped to my home. when i asked about protectant they told me they had none in the store that i could use the same protectant i had used on my uggs at home it would work. my daughter wore her uggs one time in the wet grass, it wasnt raining and her uggs are completely ruined. nobody will help me, nobody will call me, i dont want my money back i just want the same pair of for my daughter as her father had to work an extra shift to be able to pay for them as a gift for her. i do alot business with your company and i know several others who purchase 4-5 pairs of uggs a year from you. i really dont want to take my business elsewhere i enjoy shopping here but i do not deserve this treatment and my 5 year old deserves her surprise gift to last more than a day. i will not let this go even if i have to file with the better business bureau. i deserve to have these boots replaced. i sent the pictures, the stuff used. and miraculously nobody will get back to me now.

I ordered shoes online on 08/15/2021 and it said they would be delivered in 3-5 days. I waited like 7 days and did a chat online and they tell me the shoes are on back order now. Why the hell would you sell something that was not in stock in the first place. I have checked back several times and now they are telling me they will be in on Wed to try back then, I am not a very happy customer at all. I ordered these shoes for my granddaughter for her first day of school and that did not happen. This is just not the way treat your customers at all, I will never shop at your store nor will I shop online at your store. I am going to let all my friends and family to not shop at your store either, You know that is one of the biggest thing with retail word of mouth. I hope they are here on Wed or I will do all I can to reach someone in the corporate office that may be willing to help me because no one else seems to be able to do so. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!

I went into the store and they didn't have my size so the associate ordered the shoes I wanted online. She promised 5 -7 business days I should receive my package. This was January 9th 2021. I decided to call the 1800 number on the receipt and the person on the line said we don't have those shoes on stock anymore. We are gonna be sending you a check real soon. What! I was told I could order online and they can get shipped to the store for pick up. After 5 days turns out they didn't have them in stock . The cashier should have checked before she placed the order ! THEN I was told I can only receive a refund BY CHECK ... when I paid IN CASH. And that it would take 2-3 weeks to process. RIDICULOUS! My complaint is because I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from Journeys and simply I didn't receive them. They were shipped through FedEx. The tracking number of course showed delivered but the package never reached my doorstep. I contacted Journeys to report that and they created a case to investigate and get back to me. They contacted me a week after telling me what I already know which is the following.
According to our records, FedEx has denied your lost package investigation. Per FedEx tracking # package was delivered to the address that was on the order.
At this time, we will not be refunding or replacing your order. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
This is horrible customer service, they don't care about customers. They just care about collecting your money and you deal with your loss. Customers don't deal with them and deal with stores that will respect their customers and care about their satisfaction.

I placed an order on the website, on 7/22/20. My package was supposed to go to a FedEx pickup location. I received an email at a later date saying my package was being returned to the sender, due to the FedEx pickup location being closed (which wasn't shown on the website when this location was picked).
After receiving this message, I first contacted FedEx to see if I could pick the package up, which they said I would have to contact the sender. I then went into a journeys location (Springfield Mall, where it said the package was being sent to), to ask if the package was there, at which time the mgr on duty stated it was not there yet, but that it would be refunded back once it came to the store. The mgr stated that I could at that time repurchase, which I didn't want to do because the purchase was cheaper online.
She then advised me to contact customer service.
I contacted customer service on 3 different occasions (online chat), with each representative telling me the same thing, that they put in a new request to have the package redelivered to me, at my hone address. They all verified my address and said I would receive an email with a new delivery confirmation number me, once processed.
Today, I called the customer service number, and spoke to a representative. While the representative was polite, I hadn't received an answer different than the previous 3 representatives. I was offered nothing but an apology for a 3 week wait, for a purchase I was already charged for.
At this point, I just want my money back.
I never received this poor, inattentive, treatment from a company that I give my hard earned money to! I will never shop at this company again! I will shop with competitors instead, who shows me that they appreciate my business, and works expeditiously to rectify their terrible customer service.
To top it off, I stated that I would complain with the corporate office, and I was told that this was it! Go figure!
Horrible cs / item not received
I ordered a pair of shoes that was scheduled to be delivered within 5 days. After 2 weeks I contacted customer service to located the item, the customer service reps (3 different individuals) were all extremely rude and told me that more than likely my order would be canceled because of a system error, that the shoes were damaged in store and there were no others in stock. I was never contacted in reference to this issue and still have not received so much as a email telling me that there is a problem with my order. I will never order from this company ever again.
Hiring manager/supervisor
It's a shame that my son applied for a job position at the local Journeys, he interviewed for the position, he was given the job and the incompetent hiring manager/supervisor neglected in following up as she stated. I think is very unfair for the manager to let a part timer do returns and exchanges and even count the money at the end of the day. Part timers are not supposed to be doing any of that. The manager is very unfair with her employees and she is terrible. This can get her fired for letting a part timer do this.
