Beware! The site does not make it clear, but this is a shoe of the month club. Usually monthly clubs have this blazing everywhere. This site does not! It's very sneakily hidden. I'm a seasoned web user and online marketer, so I know how clearly things should be explained. And they fail in making it known that they are a monthly club.in fact, the reminder emails they send do not even mention a charge if you do not opt out of your monthly charge by the 5th. I've enclosed a screen shot of this. See anywhere about a charge? Nope! When I called the company to complain, I got nowhere and then I got hung up on. I cannot tell you how bad this is from a web usability standpoint. What reason do they have to downplay the "membership" other than to trick people into subscribing? None!

I totally agree, this company is a total scam and their merchandise is below any even quality shoes I ever bought.

I agree! I had the same issue. Justfab should make it blatanley obvious to all (and not just in the small prints, so to speak, of the terms and conditions) that not reading their monthly email within 5 days of being sent has a financial implications on YOU... because once you've made a purchase, a mothly 39.95 fee will be charged to your card, even if you didn't purchase anything. Get over yourselves justfab! You're no different than the usual junk email we get from other stores, except other stores don't charge the consumer for deleting or not making their email a priority. Furthermore, the shoes are not of good quality. The main page of their website states that its an easy return polity but again only in terms and conditions do they tell you that there is a restock fee.

I called when they charged my card and they said they were going to refund my money. I actually went on there and pressed the button that said I don't want any shoes this month but I guess they ignored that. Oh..and if there are any problems you have to call them during the day. if you want to cancel your membership, you have to call them...but if you want to join...all you have to do is sign up online. When you call to cancel your membership they badger you to try to make you stay. I only joined because I was helping a friend buy some shoes for his wife. Sad that they resort to these kinds of business practices in order to sell some shoes. Oh..and if you email them...they don't even read your email..and then you get a form letter in return.

I am a customer of Justfab.com and their "club" is well defined maybe it wasn't when you sighned up. when I followed the link from Facebook I read all the policies and I was aware that if I didn't pick a shoe for the month my debit/credit card would be charged 39.95 and it would be a credit on my account should I wish to place an order at a later time. I also receive the emails that advised you when you have to "opt out" of making a purchase for the month to prevent your debit/credit card from being charged. If you don't like teh shoes don't put your debit/redit card on file it is not asked for unless you are placing an order. READ THE FINE PRINT, PAY ATTENTION TO THE POLICIES. All you people on here blasting justfab because you were too ignorant to read the policy of the club clearly it is YOUR OWN FAULT IF YOU WERE CHARGED FOR ITEMS BECAUSE YOU FAILED TO OPT OUT I admit the poliy is long and boring but if I am going to join your club I need to know all the rules, regulations, policies, charges, etc. Columbia House and Doubleday book club have the same policy as far as their "featured selections" go if you don't log into your account and "opt out" purchasing the "featured selection" your debit/credit card will be charged and the item(s) shipped. READ THE INFORMATION BEFORE YOU START PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE. I have had wonderful customer service and my emails are always responded to in a reasonable amount of time . Get over it. BOTTOM LINE it is your own fault for not reasearching the vendor and reading theit privacy policies that CLEARLY HAVE A LINK FOR YOU TO READ BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR INFORMATION FOR REGISTRATION ON THE SITE. Just fab has beeb good to me and I have had no problems wht so ever. I love the shoes I have purchased and I have never been charged for a month in which I opted out to make a purchase for that month.

I got suckered too. It's clear most of the "I love Just Fabulous!" comments are placed by their people, or "friends". This model violates EVERY point of internet marketing ethics ever published. I'm going to reverse the charge on my credit card just to create a little work for the scammers. Unlikely it will stick but it'll be fun for a moment.

I recently signed on with this account and purchased a pair of shoes that looked like a reputable pair of heels online. When I recieved them in the mail several days later, they looked like I ordered them from Fisher Price. Hidious. Completely dissatisfied with the shoes I went to the website to cancel my membership and read return policies. I had to call them in order to process all of this. I was on hold for 40 minutes before talking to a consultant... and she was unable to fulfill my request. It does not specify in the terms and conditions that the 39.95 refund is not authorized to a dissatified customer of a previous purchase. The payment is still pending in my account. I want to cancel my membership which will remove any credits, but keep my money? I asked to talk to a supervisor who would be able to authorize a refund, and I was told they were in a meeting and unable to talk. I will make sure everyone knows the horrible experience I have had with this company. Better Business Bureau is my next stop.

Wow so glad that I did my homework! I just bought some shoes off of there and I litterally had no idea they charge every month. Granted you get a pair of shoes every month by opting to select out of the styles but still I had no idea. I love the site and love the shoes. I just wish they had put that out there a bit more but at the end of the day you should read the terms and conditions you agree to.

Columbia Records/JustFab... Remember back in the day when a CD would come in the mail & you had to buy a quota before you could quit? This is the same thing - Seriously, who buys shoes through the mail on a regular basis? Plus, all the shoes at this site look VERY cheap.
The last & only time I bought shoes through the mail was from Victoria's Secret. In the picture very cute! In person the thong style shoes were rough and hurt in between my toes. Never even wore them outside. That was a waist of big$$
If you are too lazy to go to a real store (even if you want cheap shoes "Payless"), try getting a Visa Gift Card in the dollar amount you are willing to lose and put that into their site. Or go through PayPal - stop being sooooo willing to give out Credit Card info to everyone on line! That's why scams/over-sites happen so easy breezy. JUST LOOKIN OUT!

I got an email right before the 5th mentioning to me to skip the month to avoid being charged. Also, like any savvy internet shopper, I read the terms and conditions that I CHECKBOX opted into. The people complaining here need to take a little trip back to internet purchasing 101 and read terms. You might be amazed at what other companies sign you up for. Take a look at the big dogs, Amazon, ebay, etc. While it might not be monthly subscriptions you give away a lot more.

People need to be educated and notice that when you CHECK something called "I AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS" there might be something to that.

We had the same issue with chipro.com. We saved every E-Mail, since there was no phone number and mailing them a letter got us, NO WHERE. We tried The Better Business Bureau and the company didn't seem to react to that. So determined to get answers, we sent a letter to The Attorney General for the area that the company was in. THAT WORKED!

On their HOME page you cannot find the words "Subscription" "Club" "Membership" or anything that informs its readers that it is a subscription membership... The explanation is either in a video, which not everyone watches, or in their terms of service link all the way at the bottom of their site, which not EVERYONE reads.

Now... valid... we should all learn to read terms and conditions. But information such as their pricing system, should be prominent on their website. If it is not, they are depending on the fact that people will miss this information in order to make money off their mistakes. They also have a "no refund" policy when this mistake is done in order to ensure the money goes to them and their products, forcing you to buy with them. Even though you get a product for your money... it is still a very sleazy tactic...

The sad this is that the ones that DO read the terms and conditions defend JustFab because they expect everyone to be like them and read. But the fact is that the majority do not, and JustFab takes advantage of this fact. A lot of shady websites do, just as those vitamin sites charging you 80 dollars after your first purchase and they only say so in small print.

Bad customer service and bad ethics...

I read the conditions, it does not say how you should opt out. It does not give clear instruction to go to the site or recieve an email. I called like a lawyer adn argued with my evidence. Just Fab did not send me an opt out email untill Sept 8th 2011. I had the email and the date for the evidence, they first tolde me that once they take my money out of the account they could not put it back. So they lied. Then I told them about the email. They checked and it was verified that they failed to send me the opt out until the 8th.

If they do not require a consumer to pay every month, they give us choice. Why cant we just buy when we want. What is there motivation to make you be at mercy of the oprt out and hassle? It gives them an advantage that you will forget, your internet may not work, your busy, in the hospital, at work etc..e nergencys happen and you will forget . The motive is there. If it wasnt, they would not automaticly take money out of your account when you are not at any liability to make a payment because you have choice to buy. That proves motivation to take advantage. Its been working aparently. If they allowed you on the site and you could pay when you wanted with them having now CONTROLS on your MONEY that would be the same thing, you having choice to buy but how can they manipulate and create opportunities to get more than you bargained for? There "VIP Membership" thats how and it is funny. VIP is for people who earn Very Importanmt Person...it in statistical findings takes more than one 39.95 dollar purchase and one day to hit VIP Level. But they need you on that VIP to protect them concerning their advantage they can get on your account. How funny in one day one purchase I am already a VIP, no its about them getting access to your account. They show much motive to be in a position of taking advantage by far.

Yes you can sign up via email and internet but cannot cancel.
they tried to bribe me and refused to cancell my account even when they knew they sent the opt out email three days after the last day to opt out and still hassled me. The rep sat at her cubicle for 27 minutes with me oin hold. It did not take nor did she go see the manager as she claimed because once she got verification about the late sent email, she hesistated to tell me she needed to speak to a manager about this and took another 10 minutes.

I am requoting another testimony because her is more facts showing motives...

Yes the shoes are pretty cheap but I more at fualt for that but for anyone in future, they are cheap hence it is only 39.95 and they do manipulate and do get away with free money and set you up to gain CONTROL on your account telling me that they then do not have a worth y enough business and product to run business without these sneaky Controls.

oh since they bundle the shipping, dont forget you do not know the cost of the shipping, so it hides the cost of the shoes (value). The shoes could very well be from china and worth 10 dollars"...you dont know the break down...there is reason for that...any ligit business will break down your cost when it is in a bundle.
The shoes are heavy and the box...it could cost even 15 bucks and that is a common price for such a package...where is tax in all of this? How much is in tax?

If the first person you speak to doesn't wanna refund your money, ask to speak to someone else. The second person I spoke to refunded me my money and gave me a free pair of shoes for my inconvenience (its caused an overdraw in my checking account)...you must opt out of new selections every month in order to not be charged. If you have been charged and they refuse to refund you...you must buy something with the money they stole from you and then cancel your account "Membership". If you cancel before you use the money they stole from you...you will not get it back in any form. *RobinSharee*

I have not purchased anything from this site yet, but on any new site I see, I check out ALL those things first. I find the FAQ's, and the Terms and Conditions. THEN...I look for sites such as this one to see what their reputation is like. NOW...I haven't decided yet, but everyone keeps saying how unclear it is that it's a membership club. When I saw the commercial on TV I assumed that was what it was when they stated for a price you get this...this...and this...but there is a link on the site and it's one of the first things I saw..."How JustFab Works". Really? who wouldn't check THAT out. It's so clear my preschool class could figure it out. Don't be mad because you ARENT a person who reads and follows up. There are alot of trick things out there nowadays...PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE! Be responsible for your own money.

"There are alot of trick things out there nowadays" ... Really? This is exactly what everyone is complaining about. Obviously if you have been tricked in the past, you will be cautious and read. But companies that rely on these "tricks" such as justfab.com goes for the people who don't buy online often. They are relying on human error to make their money. It's not good business ethics and should tell you a lot about the business you're dealing with. Therefor, I don't want business with them. Sadly, people learn the hard way and get cheated which creates people like you, who actually have to click through the small print to see if they're hiding something.

I knew about the membership charge when I first signed up. my beef is with how the company is run, I first signed up in July 2011 and fell in love with a cute pair of heels, I promptly ordered them after signing up. well after about three weeks of "shipping status: pending" my patience had run its course so I called customer service to see what was going on, the woman that I talked to had told me that her computer showed that they should have shipped weeks ago so she put me on hold while she "called" the warehouse manager she then proceeded to inform me that the shoes would ship first thing in the morning and everything was all in the clear and I was offered a credit for a pair of shoes for my problems. fast forward two more weeks "shipping status: STILL PENDING" WTH by this time I am so frustrated with things I am ready to do an exchange so I call in and tell them what is going on and they look into where my shoes might be located. The new rep puts me on hold and gets back on the line to tell me that the shoes had been sold out the week before i signed up to order them! Can someone please explain why the website still displayed an in stock in my size and why the other rep and warehouse manager had assured me two weeks previous that the shoes were in stock and I should be getting my shoes. to top it all off the shoes I was willing to exchange for are now also sold out and my monthly boutique selections seem to be getting uglier and uglier every time. I have yet to get a pair of shoes from them I am hoping canceling my account will not be as hard as I have read.

I think that everyone here has a point. I personally LOVE the shoes. And yes, membership does obviously mean becoming a member...but it doesn't always mean being charged automatically. I have memberships with many other companies and it's totally free...When I first signed up, the words read, "SIGNING UP IS FREE"..So of course being ###ed I clicked the "Agree to terms and conditions" button. I immediately called and got the worst customer service REP. They shouldn't even call it customer service. She was so unhelpful and I was trying to be nothing but nice. I called the VERY NEXT DAY after being charged $39.95, she said they DO NOT CREDIT the account, which I know is a lie after reading other post's where they credited the account. She wouldn't even pass me through to her Manager, she told me she would say the same thing. I asked her politely to speak with her still, and she put me on hold for like 5 minutes. She came back on the line, and told me that I was more then welcome to purchase a hand bag or some shoes. (NEVER PUT ME THROUGH TO THE MANAGER) HELLO, it was a one time thing that I did. I don't have the luxury of spending money every month on hand bags and shoes like other women. Or going online to click "skip this month"...The worst part is, I am such a loyal customer to other vendors like my cell phone company, etc. I would think that they would want to establish long term consumer relationships, those are the most important to have. They obviously don't care about their customer's though, so if you ask me, NO, I will not be ordering from them anymore, yes I will be disputing my charges and when people ask me about this company, I will let them know of the horrible experience I had.

this is the worst site i have ever shopped at. they are scammers who do not disclose their terms the way they should. i just signed into my online bank account and found that i had been charged some $40. i called them and was told the fee is not refundable and i would either need to forfeit my money or buy a pair of shoes with it. Who wants to buy cheap looking shoes every month? This is so ridiculous! They should be stopped.

I had a horrible experience with Just Fabulous as well. As others said, you can sign up online, and they make it look like you can cancel online, but you really have to call or do live chat. And they have horrible customer services hours, including no service on weekends. When you call you have to wait on hold for at least 20 minutes. When I used live chat to cancel, she was nice about it, but tried to talk me into not cancelling. When I said I just wanted to cancel, and a refund for the $39.95 they charged me for nothing, she said she couldn't give me a refund. I said okay, just cancel my membership, and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and disputing the charge with my credit card company. Suddenly, she could give me a refund. She refused to give her last name, or a cancellation number to me, so I copied the test of our live chat, and emailed it to myself. She did later send me an email confirming my cancellation, and stating that I would be receiving a refund with 2-5 business days. I will keep a close eye on my credit card statement until then. I would definitely NOT recommend Just Fabulous to anyone. I wonder how much money they have made off of people for nothing?

This company sucks! The shoes are crappy and cheap. And the monthly scam $39.95. Unbelievable. And customer service is horrible. They actually hung up on me, twice! And all I wanted to do was cancel my account. Funny how after requesting cancelation twice...the account is still open! The better business bureau should shut them down!

LOL you guys are crazy. There are a dozen websites out there like Just Fab that are based on a monthly membership...are you all living under rocks? When I joined, I was smart about it, and actually read the terms and conditions which made it perfectly clear regarding the $39.95 monthly charge and my option of skipping said month. Whenever I choose to "skip" my credit card is never charged..so obviously you aren't doing it correctly or in the time allotted.

If you do not want to be a member of the site and "risk" you're $40 a month then simply cancel your membership. It isn't rocket science. No need to come on here and spew drama at everyone.

Well luckily I didn’t get scammed but what I noticed was a pair of the exact same shoe on the website that I bought from downtown Los Angeles. I hadn’t worn the shoes yet so I ran to my closet to pull out the shoe. And yes it was the EXACT SAME SHOE. From that point I knew I would never buy shoes from Just Fab or shoe Dazzle.
By the way I paid $13.99.

I hate companies like this... A lot of Kim Kardashian's brands are like this too. Shoe Dazzle is her version of Just Fab and it scams people in the same way. A few years ago I got scammed by another one of the products she promotes... It's called Idol White (teeth whitening kit) and the site convinces you that you get to test the product for free and only pay for shipping. I read all of the terms and conditions and It looked legit. A month later I got a $250 CHARGE ON MY MASTERCARD bill!

I went back to the site to examine and realized that on the payment page there is a small section labeled "Satisfaction Guarantee" it said "We are so satisfied that you will love our product that if you don't refund it within 3 weeks we will automatically sign you up for a lifetime Idol White membership of $250." This is bullsh•t!

These sites are strategically planning your customer experience to mindfully mislead you. In my mind this is stealing.

I have tried canceling my JustFab account. They offered me a free pair of shoes. Of course I stuck with it. The reason why I want to cancel is because you can find the same shoes on different websites for CHEAPER and with free shipping. Plus, Charlotte Russe carries the same cheap styles just like JustFab. Only at Charlotte - they give you a deal- 1 buy shoe get the other for $10. Comes to around $39. Same price as JustFab for just 1 cheap shoe. It's funny how they say it's an exclusive website when the shoes can be found elsewhere. I don't even look at the bags and jewelry.

I called just fab to return some shoes that were again bigger than normal. This was my third return and the other two didnt fit right and were never used. The customer service person told me that its in their policy that they cannot do a 3rd exchange. When I asked, where is this stated on your return policy or your terms of agreement for your "VIP" members, they said it's not stated and that they are sorry for the confusion. CONFUSION? Witholding information is not called confusion. They said, they dont inform their customers about this return policy because they dont want to make it a habbit for customers to constantly return merchandize. Well, do you think your customers like wasting time constanly ordering and going to the post office to return your ill-fitting shoes? I would not risk doing business with this company. The shoes look good online, but you never know how its going to fit you (most of them dont fit right), and with their unstated "company policy" you wont get the chance to exchange until you find one that fits you correctly.

I am a little surprised to see that a good no. of people are not aware that it is a monthly shoe club. Yet I am not making any judgment here since maybe the way you sign up, the pages that lead you to the purchase, was totally different from what I went through.
I was fully aware that it is a monthly shoe club and i need to opt out before the 5th. I also read the T&C when I joined.
Yet when the company does NOT just have the intention to protect itself from customers that would try to abuse the system, we customers are f__ked one way or another. It is very obvious from my experience that they do aim to get customers trapped and stuck with the credits. ALL other monthly subscription service I have used would aim to use the monthly subscription system to get a more projectable monthly sales/customer base and they would have some kind of one time policy to refund charges or the same month charge (unused) when you cancel. They would NOT risk bad reputation trying to get that one less month profit from a disgruntled customer. But JustFab just manages to actually operate the other way around and try to collect as many $$ from the unused credits of cancelling disgruntled cancelling members as possible. This is the ONLY company I have seen that does not care about bad reputation and try HARD to keep the money they collected knowing that no products were provided for these unused credits.
Despite knowing how it works, they still managed to get me stuck with unused one month credit because, I never thought to record or keep a screen capture of my cancellation of their membership. I thought I could count on having contacted them and got it cancelled. I will file a separate complaint on this website, but people should be aware that this is NOT a company that does all precaution to provide a good montly subscription VIP program that help customers unwanted purchase. If Netflix and other operates like this, there would be a class action, lol. Keep ALL records of cancellation and changes. Use your cell phone to call so you have it on your cellphone bill. They DO NOT email you cancellation confirmation and you would still be able to see those opt out option on the front page.
