I used just answer once for at TV problem. Which answered my question about a month ago. Today, I was charged another $55.00 on my credit card!
I contacted your people and found out I was enrolled in a membership with them, which I canceled right away and requested a refund, which I was told it is not refundable! Now I'm pissed! I did not knowingly sign up for a membership. I see you have tons of complaints about this on the internet.
It's a bad/sneaky way to do business! Shame on you!
I want a refund and no further billings from you right away to the same credit card that I used with you.
I will never recommend or use your company ever again!
If this is not resolved promptly, I will contact my lawyer about it.

Legal department of just answer
I came across the above company by accident and read, what I thought was a legitimate company offering advice for £5.00 up front. I innocently asked one question after I had paid by credit card and at the time was satisfied with this company. Little did I know they took (fraudulently) in my estimation, a further payment without my consent or knowledge of £50.00 the next day. I did not realise this action had taken place until my monthly statement arrived. Too late to retrieve.
Luckily, but obviously too late, I cancelled all further payments when I realised this fraudulent action had been taken. The first payment of £50.00 was taken the day after paying £5.00 for the advice given. This apparently would continue ad infinitum had I not cancelled the payments.
I believe I am not the first person this activity has been played on unsuspecting people.
I would now like a refund of my £50.00. as this was taken from my account as I have said, without permission or my knowledge. Nowhere on their site was this information made available that further costs would be incurred after contacting this company.

I would like my money back for those two months I was charged. I was charged $46 on 9/27/2023 and $46 again on 10/24/2023.
On I believe it was September 25,2023, I was trying to cancel my Disney+ and was having trouble getting Disney+ to cancel my subscription. I asked Google how I could get Disney+ to cancel my subscription and happened onto JustAnswer. I asked them the question and apparently filled out my info. I think it cost $1. They really didn’t help me and I didn’t think any more about it until last night when I looked at my credit card purchases. I had been charged $46 for two months by JustAnswer. I called them and they said it was in the agreement I signed up for and it was non refundable. What a scam. Do I have any rights as a consumer? Can I get my money back for those 2 months?

Just Answers way of making people 'accidentally' pay for a monthly subscription
On Trust Pilot there are around a hundred of these experiences, but JustAnswer never clarified this issue on the page where customers are paying their '€ 1,-'. That is malignant.
Today I thought I was going to pay € 1,- to get a question answered but, hidden on that page, I agreed to pay € 45,- a month for a subscription (OrderID [protected]-966). That was very unclear and, no doubt, intentional. I stopped the subscription, but I will not get a refund. Seeing the number of protests, JustAnswer has a reliability issue and it is unjust to refer to all these deceived clients as just being sloppy.

i paid £5 to speak to someone, THERE WAS NO WHERE TO SUGGEST i would be billed £50 after this. i cannot get in touch with the company either, i will dispute this as far as possible to get my £50 back. you have set me up for a membership unauthorised. i can’t even get in touch with them to get a refund. this website is a complete scam. i would like a full refund for the money they’ve taken

I had to order a local computer specialist, who fixed my computer problem and I had to pay him

I had followed justanswer link what Google prompted and an online technician approached me and I wanted to find out if theres an "Aposen" vaccum cleaner service centre in UAE and I was asked to pay $1 inorded for them to provide details on the service centre and after I entered card details on the link they shared, I was charged $28 and $1 at the same moment.
They're tricking their customers and stealing their bank stealers. A big time scammers.
Dont lose your money by attempting to use any service or support from them.

I requested assistance with a problem of page numbering in Microsoft 365 Word. Just Answer advised I could obtain this assistance for first time usage of $2.00. The expert advised me that I would have to pay additional $55.29 for on line help and I agreed. Checking my account today I found that in the agreed payment I was charged an additional $66.00 that I had not agreed to.

Inappropriate charging policies
I contacted this firm when I was trying to locate a part for a heating unit. Their initial pitch was that I would have to pay $1 to enroll which after I had arranged that thru my Paypal account, I found that there was an additional fee of $33 per month which would be charged to my Paypal account each month until I cancelled my membership. They then put me in touch with an "expert" through texting and when I asked to be able to SPEAK with him directly, I was told that would incur an additional $24 fee for the call ! ! ! I immediately cancelled my membership but I see that their policy regarding non refundable charges is such that I just wasted $34 for nothing ! This firm should advertise all their expected/possible fees PRIOR to demanding payment. I feel their business practice is dishonest in this respect.
Desired outcome: I would like a full rebate of my wasted Paypal payment. I doubt if I will get any satisfaction!

Unauthorized debit card charges
My wife has had 17 unauthorized payments of £27 taken from her bank account despite not having an account with this company.
We have an email dated 22nd August 2023 from Jeff Cavellini, Vice President of Customer Care at JustAsk which states "Thank you for your message regarding your cancellation. This is a confirmation that your JustAnswer membership was successfully cancelled on 07/04 2022. You are no longer being billed on a monthly basis"
Well it turns out that this has not been the case at all and therefore this company has in effect stolen a total of £459 from my wife.
Repeated requests to Customer Support at JustAsk do not get back to Jeff Cavellini being answered each time by a different person but all claiming they can not trace the account . Twice my wife has supplied details requested by these people for them to come back yet again with the same excuse for not refunding the money.
Desired outcome: Repay the stolen £459 to my wife immediately!

Veterinarian consulting / billing
I canceled my membership in the first of July. They billed me for July, August, September & October at 35$/month. I caught the pending charges for October and canceled again and they still billed me for October. I called customer service and they just said it's our policy to not refund any customer ever and hung up on me. Even though they should have me as paid through November 3.
This "service" is 100% a scam and they are just trying to cyphon money off their customers after they've canceled as a part of their business model without consequence.
Desired outcome: I would like a 4 month refund for what they stole from me after I canceled. I'd settle for the one month that they're charging me for while not providing any services.

When I 1st asked a question I was told I would pay 50 peso.
it was not until the following day I noticed 2600 peso gone from my bank.
I thought they did not help me in any way, but OK but did spend time with me, so I did not do anything about it.
The following month 2600 peso was taken from my bank so I started doing some research. And it seems I paid for a monthly Membership, I did not know about that, and did not aggree to any membership.

Their advertisement is misleading. They will only show the $2 payment for you to proceed. I never saw a $66 subscription from there when Im in need of the answer. They will take advantage of people who are in need of the answer asap without showing the subscription thing -which I NEVER SIGNED UP! They are scammers. I canceled this via Phone in December of 2022 and was continued to be charged until today. I CANCELED THIS AGAIN TODAY. $60 a month since December 2022 10 mos. $600 Grand Theft. I am APPAULED. Yes, I was probably warned that I would be charged unless I cancelled within a few days.
