Good afternoon my daughters has a 2016 Kai Optima that she makes payments on through Kai. Her turbo went out we took to dealership in Fort Myers Fl. to get fixed, the dealership stated the turbo is nation wide back ordered and they've been waiting for another customers turbo since last April. They said car is drivable but it does leak oil so it will need to be checked a couple of times a week so it doesn't run out of oil and lock motor up. I feel this is not acceptable nor safe for her, she is a nursing student with a full time job. She has been pouring $ into this vehicle just last month 3 out of 4 window motors went out. I have been financially trying to help her with the repairs of this car but it has also left me in a bind. We have both called Kia Consumer Affairs only to be on hold and haven't been able to speak with a human. Please Please Please can we get some help?

I purchased a new Zero Tolerance 0450CF knife, very expensive, and the blade grind was atrocious, so I sent it in under the warranty. Easy fix, but only if you have good customer service. What they did in this case was to tell me I should be happy with the knife the way it is. I talked to Elizabeth in customer service who transferred me to Dan who transferred me to Josh. Josh is apparently the manager of the warranty department and he told me anyone would be happy to buy that knife. He said he could see the difference in grinds from one side to the other but the badly ground blade was within tolerance for them. I'm thinking they should change their name to Massive Tolerance. I asked him if he would be happy receiving that knife as a buyer and he had to lie through his teeth to say yes after stuttering about "well, not everyone would notice that", and "knife people have higher expectations than normal people" and that if he had bought that knife he'd just return it. Why? Why would he return it if there is nothing wrong with it? No integrity and poor customer service.

Found a safety defect that could result in inadvertent/uncontrolled closure of the blade. The Liner Lock does not fully engage [lock] the back of the blade. Made main mistake returning the defective knife it to the manufacture for replacement. They charged me almost $8.00 to return it on 14 Nov 16, and have yet, as of 19 Dec 16, to acknowledge receipt. I have provided them the UPS tracking # verifying it was delivered.

I made an order of 2 knives that seemed as if they were in stock. My credit card was charged instantly. I received a note a week later that both knives were backordered, however my credit card was still charged. I sent a note back asking if they were ever going to get any more in and why I was charged for a knife they did not have in stock. The only reply I got was a generic message that I had been refunded. No information on if they would get any more in or not.
I then get an email from then saying to come here and post a review and I will get $3 back. They are paying their customers to leave good feedback. That's just sad.
They charged my credit card for items they didn't have in stock and after I ask them to hold my order till all items could be shipped together they decided to ship out two items without my consent, boy was I surpised when I opened my box to find a knife sharpener and knife tool but no knife. After 3 weeks of waiting this is customer service I got. The 800 # they have is a joke also.
I have done business with this company before and they ran a promotion back in 2011 where they would rebate you $3 if you reviewed them. Nowhere did they specify that the review positive. Furthermore, I do not see the problem with a company refunding your money immediately when they discover they cannot ship you something. Therefore, your entire review is invalid.
They didn't say you had to post a good review, just post a review. They are looking for feed back in general. Overall Kershaw is a great company. They make great quality knives for a fraction of the cost of some (suck as spyderco, benchmade, SOG, ETC. And with my experiences with them, customer service is the best I have ever seen (not just in the knife industry, but every industry). So you ordered some knives that were back ordered and they refunded you, and asked to leave a review, with $3. Sounds like your having a pity party to me.
I have done business with this company on multiple occasions without a single problem. This looks like yet another post by a troll.
