I closed an account with KeyPoint Credit Union in 2016
I closed an account with KeyPoint Credit Union in 2016. I followed their instructions and asked for all my money to be sent to me. However, there were several years of confusion and the account didn't close properly. They sent letters to the wrong addresses, including one that was my old address and another where I never lived. Eventually, I only received 1/3 of the amount I was owed due to fees for maintaining an account that was supposed to be closed. Even though I did everything they asked, at least 10 times. I strongly advise against banking with them. They seem to be focused on squeezing every penny out of you and will charge you for every little thing.

I got a keypoint credit card in June . I made all the payments and even set up auto pay for some of my bills. However, they closed my credit card because they said my "revolving credit was too high." It's confusing because I never had any trouble paying my bill. They didn't care about my auto pay and showed no remorse when I called them. They didn't even consider that we're in a pandemic. Their only solution was for me to apply for a new card, which seems like a scam to increase their application numbers. This is really inconvenient and I felt like they were talking down to me on the phone. And just so you know, their decision is final.

I got this weird thing on my Experian credit report. Someone checked it out without my permission. I didn't even ask for any loans or credit cards. They better take this unauthorized inquiry off right away!
Kepoint and Enterpise auto sales did fraud with my social security number
Kepoint and Enterpise auto sales did fraud with my social security number. They did loan inquiries without my consent or knowledge. I got an auto loan from Keypoint and they recommended Enterprise. I went to the dealer for an appointment and they said they had the car model and color I wanted. But when I got there, they had a different model. I thought it was close enough, so I went ahead and asked for the total price. They said they needed my information to start the buying process and get the final price. They asked for my social security number, which I gave them. They told me they had a good relationship with my credit union and asked for a copy of the loan letter, which I gave them. My husband and I decided to wait and left the dealership. I didn't sign any documents or agree to apply for another loan with a different bank. They didn't tell me they would be running loan applications with different banks. They did a total of 3 auto loan inquiries without my consent. I contacted both Keypoint and Enterprise, but they both blamed me and said I agreed and even signed a document. I didn't, and the signature they have is electronic. My credit score went down and now I can't rent a new home or apply for an auto loan. This is fraud and a crime.

8/27: The credit union ended my online banking agreement without my input, and now they froze my accounts and took my debit card. On 8/27, I found out that I couldn't log into my online accounts. After 2 calls to customer service, they said that someone called and asked for my online banking agreement to be terminated. They didn't contact me and didn't confirm who the caller was. After 2 calls to customer service on 8/27, they admitted they didn't know who made the call or why. I asked for a manager's response and got transferred to *** at the Bowers office. She said she had to start an investigation, which would take 3 business days. She didn't mention that they were freezing my accounts, which is what they did. On 8/28, my online debit card purchase with Amazon got denied because KeyPoint didn't authorize the payment. On 8/28, I made 3 more calls to customer service to ask why my debit card is being declined, and 2 out of the 3 had no idea and couldn't help. One of the 3 said my debit card was blocked and she couldn't unblock it, and I should call customer service the next day. On 8/29, I made 2 more calls to customer service, one in the morning and one in the evening. The morning call was to ***, who said there was nothing wrong with my debit card and that it wasn't blocked. He also said he saw no attempt by my vendor (Amazon) to make a payment. That same day, I told Amazon to try the charge again. That evening at 8:47pm, I tried to withdraw $100 from an ATM at the Sunnyvale branch. The withdrawal got denied, and the receipt said my card was retained and to contact my provider. At 8:50pm, I called customer service again to report the debit card problem and spoke to Tanya first, then to a manager (I think her name was Tamara Thompson?), who took all the information and said they were having trouble with system updates. I said this had nothing to do with any system update and was connected to the freezing of my accounts that started on 8/27. I told her I wanted this message and notes to go to ***, who was supposed to handle this problem. On 8/30, Amazon again said they couldn't get authorization for my purchase for the second time. This credit union froze my accounts and my debit card. I have no money and can't buy gas, groceries, etc. This is negligent, and there's no reason for any of their actions. I want my accounts unlocked and a new debit card issued right away. I made other online debit card purchases for medications that will be presented for payment on 8/31. And they better not be declined.
