Poor Customer Service and Lack of Communication - My Experience with KidzToPros
So, I gotta say, my experience with KidzToPros was pretty rough. I spent a huge amount of money on classes for my kid, but then they went and cancelled them. And despite sending a bunch of emails, I hardly got any response from them. And when I tried to chat or call them, it still took forever for them to get back to me.
It was super frustrating, because I had already paid so much and then all the classes got cancelled. Plus, they wouldn't give me any updates on what was going on or when they might reschedule the classes.
Honestly, I was starting to think I was never going to get my money back. They just wouldn't respond to any requests for a refund, even though it was THEIR fault that the classes got cancelled in the first place.
But eventually, I got so fed up that I had to do a chargeback to get my money back. It was a huge pain, but at least I finally got my money back.
Overall, I can't really recommend KidzToPros. I know they might have some good classes, but the customer service is just really terrible. If you do decide to use them, just be prepared for a lot of hassle if anything goes wrong.
Awe-Inspiring Summer Camp Experience at KidzToPros in Denver - Highly Recommend!
We had an awe-inspiring time at KidzToPros summer camp located in Denver. The boss, Dimple, was wicked accommodating and friendly, ya know what I mean? We originally signed up for half day for the week thinking that my 9 year old would be worn out from tennis, but boy oh boy, were we wrong! I was flabbergasted after the first day to hear he wanted to change to full day for the week. The boss asked if she could work with him on some robotics/coding additionally which my son fell in love with straight away. The staff was very positive and caring towards my son, they really made him feel at home. Without a doubt, I knew I was leaving him in good hands, ya hear me? Can't wait to sign up for more camps for my other kiddos! We highly recommend KidzToPros!
KidzToPros Camp Review: Incompetent Staff, Unsafe Environment, and Disorganization
Yo, peeps, let me tell ya about this camp called KidzToPros. Don't waste your time and money, 'cause it's straight-up wack. We signed up for it and had high hopes, but it was a major disappointment. First of all, they promised to send a welcome email before the camp started, but we never got it. What kind of customer service is that?!
When we got to the camp, there was only one adult there who was supposed to be the director. But get this, he didn't even know what kids were supposed to be there! He didn't have a lesson plan or any materials for the specific camp we chose. And let me tell ya, there were kids there that were way older than 4-6 years old like we signed up for. The director was clueless and didn't even know what to do with us.
I don't know about you, but I don't want my child in an unsafe environment. They didn't even know about any special needs or allergies my kid might have. I was freaked out, so I tried to get a refund. I sent multiple emails and made calls to customer service, but they didn't do jack. It was straight up incompetence and disorganization.
So I filed a complaint with the BBB and guess what? KidzToPros has a D- rating! After that, I finally got a call from upper management, but they only offered me a credit for another one of their camps. Are you serious?! I don't want to have anything to do with KidzToPros after what happened.
I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company to get my money back. Do yourself a favor and look for another camp. There are so many other bad reviews out there about safety issues, disorganization, and last-minute changes. Trust me, you don't want to deal with this mess.
My Disappointing Experience with KidzToPros Summer Camp: Unprofessional and Unsafe Practices
Me and my grandson had a pretty bad time at KidzToPros camp this summer. Their website looks cool and all, but there was a lot of worrying stuff about the safety of the kids there.
So, my 9-year-old grandson is really into Minecraft, and he was really eager to go to the Minecraft camp at KidzToPros. We signed up and paid for everything on March 4th, and the camp was scheduled to start on July 12 just down the road from our house. But on July 10 (a Saturday!) we got an email at 5:09 PM with this message:
"KidzToPros is excited to see Michael on 7/12/2021 for a fun, enriching and Safe summer camp experience! The camp address is: Southern Hills Middle School, 1500 Knox Dr, Boulder, CO 80305, USA. Camp name: Roblox – Obstacle Course"
My first thought was that we got the email by mistake. This wasn't the camp we signed up for, and it was 40 minutes away from our house! I tried to call and email KidztoPros right away, but their support was closed, and their mailbox was full. All I got was an automatic reply saying they'd get back to me in 48 hours. But the camp was starting in just 36 hours!
And get this, they already had my money – $415! But they didn't even offer to let us cancel or switch to another camp. I get that they might have to make changes because of low enrollment, but how hard is it to just talk to your customers and work something out? That's what a professional organization would do.
But KidzToPros is anything but professional. They don't answer the phone, and when I called them on Monday at 7:30 AM, I was on hold for over an hour and five minutes! And then they just disconnected me!
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this camp to anyone. We couldn't back out because we'd already paid, but my grandson did like his counselors and the camp director seemed cool. But the administration at KidzToPros just didn't cut it.
Warning: KidzToPros is a Terrible Company and Total Ripoff - Do Not Use!
IM WARNING YOU ALL, DONT USE KIDZTOPROS! They're a total ripoff and terrible company. Its been THREE WEEKS since ive been trying to get a refund and i STILL haven't heard back from anyone. I call them and speak to different people every time, but no one can actually do anything to fix my problem. They keep telling me I'll only get a credit for another camp instead of a refund. But why would i want to give them more money after this experience? It's a scam and you won't get what you paid for.
So my wife and i signed up our son for the Arduino: Circuits and Science camp at the Harriet Sayre school in Chicago. We were excited for him to learn about technology and circuits!
The camp was supposed to take place from June 13th-17th but they changed it to July 11th-15th because of issues at the school. It was inconvenient for us but we made the changes necessary.
On the first day of camp, I dropped my son off for the scheduled 8:30am-5pm time slot. It should have been simple but it wasn't. The instructions I was given told me to arrive a little bit early and not get out of the car when i dropped off my son - someone would come to meet us. But i couldn't find anyone and neither could another mom who was also there with her son. We were driving around for ages trying to find the right spot! I eventually called the school and they directed me to door #5 but even then, it took them until 8:30 to come out with a sign telling us where to go.
When someone finally came to get my son, they told me that camp ended at 4pm but they would keep the kids until 5pm if necessary. But the original website said the camp would be from 8:30am-5pm. So which is it? It's misleading and false advertising.
The website described what the kids would be learning so i was excited for my son! But when i picked him up at 4pm, i found out that they didn't even have all the equipment they promised! They were supposed to use Arduino equipment and supplies but they didn't have any of that - they used Lego instead. I don't even understand how that's supposed to teach them about circuits!
But it gets worse. After lunch, students from another class joined my son's class and started building with Lego too. This other class was called "Film Studio" and i don't know why they were even allowed to join my son's camp since they weren't even learning about circuits! My son was then asked to teach/assist these students with the Lego build. How does this help him learn about circuits and science?
Towards the end of the day, around 3-3:30, both classes were sent to the gym to do laps, sprints, and then play basketball and dodgeball for 30 minutes. This is NOT what we paid for!
Lastly, when i picked up my son, one of the instructors spoke about how a kid got hit in the head with a ball. It wasn't my son, but the teachers should be keeping a better eye on the kids!
Overall, i am extremely disappointed with the camp and i want a FULL REFUND. They didn't have the equipment they advertised, other classes were allowed to join and distract from the learning, they didn't even teach my son what they promised - and to top it off, they ended the camp an hour early! It was a complete waste of time and money. steer clear of kidztopros if you don't want to experience the same thing!
