I-Ready I-Ready: A Cautionary Tale of Educational Missteps

As I delve into the myriad of reviews about I-Ready, a stark pattern emerges - a narrative of disappointment, frustration, and even harm. It pains me to see how this platform, meant to nurture young minds, has instead become a source of distress for many. Stories of racial slurs, inappropriate content, and sheer inadequacy paint a grim picture. It's disheartening to witness the toll it takes on mental health, the lack of educational value, and the overall negative impact on students' well-being. I urge caution to all considering I-Ready, for its flaws seem to outweigh any potential benefits. Let's prioritize our children's growth and happiness over a system that falls short of its promises.

I-Ready Ehh?

I-Ready math is decent enough, the main problem I have is with the reading section of it. Back in like third grade, the reading assignments were kinda fun, but once you get to a certain level on your diagnostic (around 650) it starts getting extremely repetitive. Like you read some passages then answer questions and do so over and over again until the assignment is over. This just really zaps your motivation while also making the lessons way too easy and boring. You don't even have to answer any of the questions personally unlike the math section. I just think there should be a little more variation that's all.

I-Ready ITS NOT FUN, ITS TORTURE

This program is one of the worst torture methods you can ever use on students. I am even thinking why they made this app. The animated characters are boring and the lessons tell us things we know. In quizzes, iReady just marks them wrong and doesn't tell us anything. I get good grades in this year of 6th grade. When my teachers introduced this reading program, I did badly getting 83 or 90. My grades got low just because I did badly at this program. This program is ruining my life and I hope that it is banned, so I don't have to face it in 7th grade. I just hate it so much. Now, I always think that LA is boring and my participation grades got low. Congrats on the Very rotten job iReady. I gave it two stars because it could be a torture method for bullies that cyberbully you. Just give them this lesson and they will go crazy.

I-Ready Atrociously Created!

The title evidently tells it all: I-Ready was atrociously created. I used to go to an elementary school and a middle school in the Bonsall Unified School District. (I recently transferred to a different middle school) Anyways, the school district was strongly contingent on education coming from I-Ready. This contingence led to the reduction of exuberance towards education through its platitudinous repetitions of already-intuitive information and its ambiguous explanations on an unknown topic. For example, when I was in 4th grade, I was performing at a 5th grade level in mathematics. Apparently, I was struggling with the lesson related to the powers of 10, due to its lack of strategic organization. Also, I usually had to figure out what the unknown concepts were meant to represent. I remember writing a letter to my district's superintendent that was meant to convince him to reduce the utilization of I-Ready in 6th grade. (In retrospect, I should've done it earlier)

I-Ready A pretty good educational website

I am reviewing this a 4/5 and not a 5/5 because I'm a student, but honestly, if you are a teacher looking for something for your kids to do for homework, this is just for you. You can track what they are doing and how they are doing on the subject. Sure, you students will probably hate you after making them do this, but it will really boost their IQ if you know what I mean.

I-Ready iReady Lessons

iReady is much better than IXL. Just because it's better, doesn't mean it's good. I could list a lot of broken things about it, but just to spare Curriculum Associates, I will only name 2.

1. ELA iReady lessons - If you get a question wrong on the first passage, they waste 5 minutes of your time saying "Find Your Clue. Click what represents your clue. This supports your answer because yes. Think about your own experience. How would you feel?" It's useless, and they should ask if you need help or if you want to try again.

2. iReady Diagnostic - They only give you a number score without your grade level or performance relative to others. They don't tell you where you can improve and what questions you got wrong.

Recommendation: Don't use i-Ready unless you're forced.

I-Ready No i-Ready Please

I give it zero stars. I am in fifth grade, and my district forces us to do 4 lessons per week, two reading and two math. The diagnostics are confusing and turns your brain to mush. Yesterday, I failed a quiz, and they made me do the same lesson, which is the instruction and the quiz. i-Ready talks to you as if you barely know English, and the worst part in math is that they don't even teach you the standard algorithm. They also make you do like three extra steps if you get the answer wrong to a problem. Also, the other day my class was doing a haunted house project, and they put i-Ready for her scary theme.

Recommendation: Please don't purchase i-Ready, there are way better math programs out there.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: A Waste of Time and Sanity

I gotta be honest, I-ready is not my cup of tea. I mean, I'd give it a zero if I could, but I guess I'll settle for a one. It's not just me though, even the teachers hate it. But they make us do it anyway, because apparently being number one in the district is more important than our sanity.

The lessons are just plain awful. They're easy, sure, but they take forever to complete. Like, we're talking 1-2 hours per lesson. And if you want a good grade? Forget about it. You'll be spending 4-5 hours on each lesson. Ain't nobody got time for that.

And don't even get me started on the pass-to-fail ratio. It's a joke. You can work for hours and still barely pass any lessons. I mean, just look at the screenshot I included. That was at the beginning of the year, and I've passed more lessons since then, but still. It's ridiculous.

Honestly, I think this business should be banned from all districts worldwide. It's pitiful. But hey, that's just my two cents.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: Not the Worst, But Not the Best Either

Alright, let's dive into the nitty-gritty of I-Ready. First off, I gotta say that it's not the worst thing out there. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's definitely better than some of the other online learning programs I've had to suffer through (*coughALEKS *cough*).

Now, let's talk about the actual content. I had to use I-Ready all the way up until 6th grade, and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. The lessons were just plain awful. They were boring, unengaging, and honestly, felt like a waste of time. And don't even get me started on the diagnostics. Those were a nightmare. They were just as bad as the lessons, if not worse. I mean, who wants to sit through a long, drawn-out intro before even getting to the actual questions? And the clock pausing when you take too long to answer? Come on, that's just unfair.

But, I will say that there were a few redeeming qualities to I-Ready. The mini-games were actually pretty fun, and they provided a nice break from the monotony of the lessons and diagnostics. And, I appreciated the fact that there were breaks in between each part of the diagnostic. It gave me a chance to stretch my legs and clear my head before diving back in.

Overall, I wouldn't say that I-Ready is the best online learning program out there. But, it's not the worst either. If you can get past the boring lessons and frustrating diagnostics, there are some decent features to be found. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time staring at your computer screen.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: Frustrating Loading Times, Confusing Answers, and Annoying Narrator's Voice

I gotta say, I-ready can be a real pain sometimes. Like, seriously, why does it take so long to load? I remember one time I was trying to do a Diagnostic at school and I couldn't even get the question to show up. It was so frustrating! And don't even get me started on that narrator's voice. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me, and I bet other people feel the same way.

Another thing that really grinds my gears is when I click on the right answer and it tells me I'm wrong. Like, what the heck? I even asked my teacher and she said I was right, but I still got it marked wrong. It's so confusing and makes me feel like I'm not learning anything.

And why is there only two subjects? Last time I checked, there were way more than two subjects in school. I mean, if I wanted to study for a science test, I-ready wouldn't do me any good. And even if I had a math test, the app is so bad that it wouldn't help me progress anything that mattered.

But you know what really gets me? I-ready made this dog sad. I mean, come on, who wants to make a cute little pup sad? That's just not cool.

Overall, I-ready has its flaws, but I guess it's better than nothing. Just be prepared to deal with slow loading times, annoying voices, and confusing answers. And if you see a sad dog, give it a pat on the head and tell it everything will be okay.

I-Ready Mixed Feelings: My Review of I-Ready Learning App

Hey there,

I gotta say, I-ready is a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand, it's great that there's an app out there that's designed to help people learn. But on the other hand, some of the lessons can be a real headache. I mean, sometimes I'll spend like an hour and a half working through the instructions, only to totally bomb the quiz and have to start all over again. It's frustrating, you know?

One thing that really gets to me is that when you fail a quiz, you have to redo the whole lesson. Like, come on, guys. Couldn't you just make us redo the questions we missed? That would be so much less stressful. And speaking of stress, the quizzes themselves can be a real source of anxiety. The instructions aren't always super clear, so you're kind of going into it blind. It's like, how am I supposed to do well on this thing if I don't even know what it's about?

I will say that the app could be a lot better if they updated the instructions to be more user-friendly. Like, maybe they could adapt to the way each person's mind works, you know? That would be a game-changer. But as it stands, I've been using I-ready for three years now (thanks, school district), and I'm not super impressed. I mean, I get why they make us do it, but it's not exactly my idea of a good time.

Anyway, that's just my two cents. If you're thinking about using I-ready, just be prepared for some frustration along the way. But hey, maybe you'll have a better experience than I did. Who knows?

I-Ready I-Ready App Review: A Disappointing and Bootleg Experience

I gotta say, this app called I-ready is a real piece of work. It's like they took us back to the 1800s with all the slavery and whatnot. And don't even get me started on those characters, they look like they're laughing at you every time you make a mistake. And let's talk about this so-called "I-ready" system, it's straight up bootleg. I challenge you to tell me one time this app has actually made you happy. Oh wait, there are none! All it does is make you feel like you're in hell with imaginary friends. And don't even get me started on those fake challenges that ruin your school breaks. Even if you're smart and don't do them, they'll find some excuse to tell your teacher you're not doing $#*!. That's why I think this app is the most bootleg thing I've ever seen. All their games are just mid copies of classic games that are straight up dog $#*!. And don't even get me started on the reading section, their opinions are just mid. Overall, I-ready is straight up trash. If you took the time to read this, thank you.

I-Ready I-Ready: A Waste of Money and Traumatizing for Students

I gotta say, I have some serious issues with I-ready. It's like, does anyone actually learn anything from this website? I swear, half the kids in my school are so depressed because of it. And get this, it costs 12 bucks per student! That's a huge waste of money for our public schools, if you ask me.

And don't even get me started on those characters. They're not helpful at all. One of them even insulted humans, saying "oh, you're pretty smart for a human." Like, what kind of message is that sending? And the way they teach you to solve problems is just ridiculous. They use some kind of weird kung-fu Chicago backrooms technique to solve simple math problems like 10+10. They'll say something like (2^3 + 5) / (1 + 0.1*10). Like, who understands that? I'm sure everyone would agree with me on this.

And if they're just going to ignore these issues, that's a massive problem. I mean, come on, I-ready. You're supposed to be helping us learn, not traumatizing us. I spent over 4 hours on one lesson and now I have PTSD or something. And what's up with that dumb quiz thing? If you get a question wrong, it takes like 30 minutes to explain 1+1. That's just ridiculous.

So, I-ready, if you're listening, please fix these issues. And maybe try to actually help us learn something instead of making us want to give up on education altogether. Thank you.

I-Ready i-Ready: A Nightmare in App Form - A Brutally Honest Review

I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience using i-Ready. It was a real pain in the butt, let me tell you. I mean, if you're looking for a good time, you might as well slide down a banister made of cheese graters and then use a cactus as a dildo. It's about the same level of enjoyment, if you ask me.

The characters in this app are just ridiculous. They don't even teach math, they just talk about how many things they can suck in a day. And don't even get me started on the UI and animation. It looks like it was made by a five-year-old who was forced to ingest an entire pound of cocaine and then tied to a chair in a room filling with water. It's just a mess.

And the diagnostic? Oh boy, don't even get me started. I think I'm going to get a brain aneurysm from it. If I don't, I might just shove a packet of C4 up my butt and detonate it in the middle of the diagnostic. That's how frustrating it is.

Honestly, I'd rather go to a Nazi concentration camp than do another i-Ready lesson. It's like being stabbed 467 times in the chest and then having your genitals seared off by a lighter. It's just not worth it.

I don't know who the CEO of i-Ready is, but if I ever meet them, I'm going to put them in my basement full of spiders, cut off all their limbs, and then roll them down a hill in a basket coated with razor blades. That's how angry this app makes me.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend i-Ready to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle. In fact, I'm pretty sure it gave me breast cancer, and I'm not even a girl. So yeah, stay away from this app if you know what's good for you.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: A Waste of Time, Unhealthy, Hard, and Boring!

I-Ready is a website that is not worth your time, it's unhealthy, difficult, and also very boring! I can tell you why i-Ready is all those negative things. Have you ever experienced a headache while doing i-Ready? Since i-Ready is challenging, you can assume that it gives you a lot of headaches. Not only does i-Ready give you lots of headaches, but it can also damage your eyesight. When you stare at your computer for a long time, your eyes can get damaged, and that can lead to glasses. I'm not saying glasses don't help your eyesight, but I'm saying that i-Ready causes lots and lots of damage due to its long lessons!

I-Ready lessons are not easy, they're harder than you think! I posted a picture below of how i-Ready will look like once you reach the last level, which is level H. There are a bunch of numbers in your head! How are you supposed to cherish your memories even if you still have a lot of i-Ready stuff in your head? When you do i-Ready for a long time, you start feeling an effect, and I know what the effect is because I've done i-Ready for more than 2 years! Once you do i-Ready for a long time, i-Ready starts to be the most boring educational website in the world (I mean in the whole universe!).

That's all I have to say about i-Ready... Overall, i-Ready is a waste of time, unhealthy, hard, and boring! If you agree with me, then make sure not to use i-Ready that often. There are other educational websites that are more fun and less damaging to your health. Don't waste your time on i-Ready, find something else that is more enjoyable and less harmful to your eyesight.

I-Ready Mixed Feelings About Iready: A Sixth Grader's Review

I gotta say, Iready ain't my cup of tea. But hey, that's just my opinion. Some folks seem to enjoy it and find it helpful. Me and my 6th grade classmates, on the other hand, weren't so lucky. We all had a tough time with it.

Our teacher tried to convince us otherwise by running an experiment. She had us do Iready before a quiz, and then the next day we did physical paperwork and got to snack. And you know what? Almost half of us did better on the quiz after the physical lesson. So, take that as you will.

Personally, I don't recommend Iready to teachers or schools. It just throws lessons at you without much thought, and the automatic grading system can be pretty harsh. Some of my classmates got sorted into lower grades than they should have, which really hurt their self-esteem. And the voice acting? Yikes. It's pretty bad. There's this weird buzzing noise that makes it hard to concentrate.

But, I will say that there are a few good things about Iready. For one, some students do find it fun and engaging. Maybe we could make it an optional thing for those who like it, and have other learning methods for those who don't. And it's easy to navigate and check your grades. Iready keeps everything organized in a neat little tab.

Oh, and the diagnostic test is actually pretty cool. It encourages you to take breaks and relax between quarters of the test. So, there's that.

Overall, Iready has its ups and downs. But for me and my classmates, it was mostly downs.

I-Ready The I-Ready instructions and a new feature that should be added for my children

I was sitting down doing I-Ready with my kid because he needed assistance and it was excruciating the instruction took nearly an hour, but the quiz was around 30 seconds. So, I've come to file a complaint saying that there should be an optional button that allows you to skip immediately to the Quiz. But only for the first attempt at the I-Ready the instruction is forced for the second try if they fail it, therefore making it easier for kids that cannot complete their I-Readys because of the lengthy process.

Desired outcome: A better experience for gifted children who are able to complete their lessons with ease.

I-Ready I-Ready: A Learning Game That's a Real Drag - A Student's Review

I gotta say, I-ready ain't my cup of tea. This so-called "learning game" is a real drag. Every time I take the diagnostic test, I end up with the worst score possible. And even when I manage to improve, the next time I take it, I do even worse! It's like the system is rigged against me or something.

And don't even get me started on the characters. They look like they were designed for little kids, not fifth-graders like me. And the whole site is just plain boring. I mean, it's not as bad as Xtramath, but that's not saying much.

If you're a teacher or a student, I'd say stay away from this app. It might seem like a clever way to teach math, but trust me, it'll just make your students hate the subject even more. I've been using I-ready since second grade, and I've hated it from day one. So take it from me: just don't use it. It's not worth the hassle.

I-Ready Struggling with I-Ready: A Frustrating Experience

I gotta say, I'm not a fan of I-ready. It's been a real struggle for me to get through my lessons each week. I've had nights where I stayed up way too late just trying to finish my work, and it's left me feeling completely exhausted. And let me tell you, I've shed some tears over this app. It's just so frustrating sometimes!

One lesson in particular really got me going. It was all about rational and irrational numbers, and I swear, it felt like I had to do the same problem over and over again. I mean, come on! We all know it was the irrational number that messed up the robot's calculations. Why did we have to go through all those other problems?

And don't even get me started on how the app treats us like we're little kids. I mean, I get that it's supposed to be educational and all, but come on. We're not babies! We can handle a little bit of complexity in our lessons.

Overall, I'm just not a fan of I-ready. It's been a real struggle for me, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to stick with it much longer. But hey, maybe it's just not the right fit for me. Who knows?

I-Ready I-Ready: A Nightmare for Students and Mental Health

I-ready is a website that I have used for a long time, and I must say that it is not the best thing out there. In fact, it is the worst thing I have ever used. The website is so boring that it can make you fall asleep. I am not kidding, it is that bad. I have used many websites before, but this one takes the cake. It is so bad that I would not recommend it to anyone.

The worst part about I-ready is that if you get 3-4 questions wrong, you fail. I mean, come on, who does that? It is not fair at all. The diagnostic tests are even worse. You always get the lowest score, no matter how hard you try. It is like the website is designed to make you fail.

Using I-ready has been a nightmare for me. It has made me depressed, stressed, and sleep-deprived. I have even had suicidal thoughts because of it. It is not a website that I would recommend to anyone. It is not worth the stress and anxiety that it causes.

If you have ADHD, then I-ready is not for you. It will only make your condition worse. It is not a website that is suitable for anyone with a mental health condition. I am telling you, for the love of God, do not use this website. Ever since I started using it, I have hated math. It has ruined my love for the subject.

In conclusion, I-ready is a terrible website that I would not recommend to anyone. It is boring, unfair, and can cause mental health problems. If you want to learn math, then there are better websites out there. Do not waste your time with I-ready.

I-Ready I-Ready: A Disappointing Learning Tool for Kids

I gotta say, I-ready ain't really doing much for me. It's like they're trying to force us kids to use it to get better at math, reading, and writing, but it ain't really doing much to help us out. You gotta do these lessons to get coins to play games, but even then, the games ain't all that great. You can play math games whenever you want, but sometimes the loading screen goes on forever, so you gotta exit out and come back just to play the games. And let's be real, the games ain't even that fun. I wouldn't recommend this 4:3 garbage to anyone. One star from me.

I-Ready I-Ready App Review: Glitchy and Frustrating, Not Worth the Hassle

I-ready is an app that is designed to help you learn new things, but let me tell you, it's not as easy as it seems. As a student, I found myself struggling to get the minutes that my teacher expected me to get. I sat for 20 minutes, but the app only registered 8 minutes. It was frustrating and made me feel like I wasn't doing enough.

The lessons on I-ready are also quite challenging. I found that 3 out of 4 questions were basically the same, but when I picked an answer, it would say that it was wrong. It was confusing and made me doubt my abilities. To make matters worse, the right answer was often something that seemed really dumb.

If you're a teacher and you're considering using this app in your classroom, I would recommend that you skip right over it and find something else. Your students will thank you. This app is absolute torture and it will only make your students feel discouraged and frustrated.

In conclusion, I-ready may seem like a good idea, but it's not worth the hassle. The app is glitchy and the lessons are too difficult for most students. I would not recommend this app to anyone who is looking for an easy and effective way to learn.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: A Total Flop for Students

What in the world is this? I'm almost in the 6th grade and I absolutely loathe this darn website so much! It's so terrible and awful that I can hardly believe it. Firstly, the lessons take an eternity to complete. Secondly, the lessons are repetitive and challenging. Thirdly, whenever I attempt to use it, I feel completely drained and irritated. I haven't used my coins in ages and only have 1000 coins! It's been the entire school year and I should have way more. Khan Academy is a website that I used to learn grammar, and it's 2763 times better. All in all, it deserves a big fat zero stars. If you're a teacher reading this, please don't make your students use I-Ready. It's a total flop.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: Frustrating and Stressful Experience for Students

I-ready is a website that is supposed to help students with their math and English Language Arts (ELA) skills. However, it can be a very frustrating experience for many students. When you get a question wrong, the website can be very harsh and loud, making you feel even worse about your mistake. And sometimes, it takes a very long time for the website to explain why you got the question wrong in the first place.

Another issue with I-ready is that it can glitch sometimes. This means that even if you got the answer right, the website might mark it as wrong. This can be very frustrating for students who are trying their best to improve their skills.

One student even started hurting himself every time he got a question wrong on I-ready. This is a very serious problem and shows just how stressful the website can be for some students. This student was also required to pass four lessons per day, which is a lot of work for anyone.

The lessons on I-ready can also take up a lot of time. This means that students have to spend hours on the website every day, even on weekends when they should be relaxing and spending time with their families. And to make matters worse, I-ready is a big part of your grade, which means that if you don't do well on the website, it can have a big impact on your overall grade in school.

Overall, I-ready can be a very stressful and frustrating experience for students. If you are a parent who is homeschooling your child, I would not recommend using this website. There are other resources out there that can help your child improve their math and ELA skills without causing them unnecessary stress and anxiety.

I-Ready iReady Review: A Disappointing Program That Hinders Learning and Growth

My child is a smart cookie, always ahead of his peers in school. When I heard about iReady, I thought it would be a great way for him to continue to excel and learn at his own pace. Unfortunately, this program has been a major disappointment.

First of all, the program seems to be stuck in the past. My son consistently gets 100% on his math problems, but the program refuses to advance him to more challenging material. Instead, he is forced to do the same repetitive problems over and over again. It's frustrating for him and for me as a parent.

To make matters worse, the program is full of annoying characters that try to make jokes and be funny. They interrupt the problem-solving process and make it difficult for my son to concentrate. And to top it off, you can't even mute them! It's a real pain to sit there and listen to them when my son already knows the answer.

I really dislike iReady and wish I could pull my son out of the public school that uses it. Unfortunately, I can't afford to do that, so we're stuck with this disastrous program. And to make matters worse, it's based on the problematic common core curriculum.

Overall, I would not recommend iReady to anyone. It's a waste of time and money, and it's not helping my child learn and grow.

I-Ready IReady: A Frustrating and Boring Homework Nightmare

I gotta say, I have some serious beef with IReady. This website thinks we're all a bunch of toddlers with the way it teaches us. I mean, "Bake Stars"? Come on, man. Ain't nobody got time for that. And it's not just me - everyone at my school is sick of this site. Even the teachers can't stand it. If only the higher-ups could see how much we hate it.

And don't even get me started on the homework. I already have enough to do, but no, let's make it worse with IReady. It's so boring and dull that I can barely keep my eyes open. And the cringe factor? Off the charts. It's like watching a train wreck - you just want to look away.

But the worst part? When you think you're finally done with a lesson, but nope. "Ready to continue?" pops up and crushes your soul. Why would you raise a kid's hope like that, only to dash it at the last second?

And let's not forget about failing a lesson. If you mess up, you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Are you kidding me? DadeSchools, please, for the love of all that is holy, change our homework. Khan Academy would be a breath of fresh air compared to this mess.

I-Ready I-Ready: A Boring and Ineffective App for Learning

I gotta say, I've been using I-ready for a while now and it's been a real struggle. I mean, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but these lessons take forever to complete. And don't even get me started on how boring they are! I mean, seriously, if you're gonna make me sit through a 30-minute lesson, at least make it somewhat entertaining.

I-ready is a real piece of work, let me tell you. But for some reason, teachers still insist on using it. I mean, come on, can't they see that us smart people aren't gaining any ground here? What's the point of this app anyway? It's not like it's teaching us anything we can't learn in school.

Honestly, the only time I would recommend this app is when you're taking the diagnostic test. That's a legit test, I'll give it that. But other than that, teachers, please don't make your students suffer through this. It's the dumbest and least effective app out there for teaching.

But hey, what do I know? Maybe I'm just not cut out for this whole online learning thing. All I know is that I-ready is a real pain in the you-know-what.

I-Ready Embrace all, and refrain from slang

I just have a question. I’m all about embracing diversity. That is the beauty of NYC and public schools, but now you never see a blonde white girl like ever, who speaks properly without slang and with manners. Reaching everyone is your hope but some are still being lost in the mix.
Is there ever an option for the kids to read themselves then do the quiz? There seems to be a lot of time wasted with listening to the characters.

I-Ready Is I-Ready really "Ready" to Help Students Learn? A Student's Perspective on the Program

I-Ready, an online educational program, has been widely used by students and educators over the years. However, some students have expressed their discontent with the program, citing its monotony and lack of usefulness. One student in particular lamented the program's use of animated characters that they found boring and repetitive, and the lessons offered within the program as lacking in anything new or challenging. They also noted that when quizzes were taken, the program offered no explanation as to why an answer was incorrect, which led to confusion and frustration.

Unfortunately, this student's grades suffered as a result of their participation in the program. Their overall performance dipped due to poor performance in I-Ready, and their participation grades were also affected. In their opinion, the program had a negative impact on their academic and emotional well-being, and they felt that it had no place in their educational journey.

The student's perception of the program is a clear indication that not all students find value in it. Nevertheless, opinions are divided, and some students find the program beneficial, and even fun. However, it's essential to note that education is more than just grades or participation grades. It's about the overall growth and development of a student, which also includes their mental and emotional health.

In conclusion, the use of I-Ready and similar programs has its advantages and disadvantages, and it's up to educators to assess whether it's effective and beneficial for their students. While some students may find it to be a source of frustration, others may enjoy it and find it helpful. Ultimately, the key to success lies in creating an environment that fosters learning and growth, which caters to students' specific needs and learning styles.

I-Ready A Student's Review of I-Ready: Slow, Repetitive, and Flawed Grading System

There are a lot of students out there who share the sentiment of being forced to use I-Ready by their teachers. They complain that it's slow and badly designed, with incorrect grammar in some of the materials provided. Students feel that the diagnostic "lesson" is frustratingly repetitive and doesn't do any good for anyone. Even the math lessons aren't much better, with some questioning why seemingly trivial changes to equations like switching 10 x 7 to 7 x 10 would make any difference at all. Some students are even being taught lessons that they've already learned before, making the experience even more pointless.

To make matters worse, I-Ready's grading system seems to be flawed as well. Students report that they can only get a question wrong two times, which doesn't seem fair since most of them were under the impression that only getting half of the questions right would barely pass a test. It's no surprise then, that most students are urging teachers to rid of I-Ready from their classes altogether.

One bright spot in the platform, though, is the Learning games and "Rewards" section. While they are enjoyable, there are other websites out there where you can find similar games for free. One such website lets you play games without having to pay for them, simply by refreshing the page at the end of each game. So, while there are some good things to be found on I-Ready, many students would rather use alternative educational resources.

In conclusion, I-Ready may not be everyone's cup of tea. While some students may find it helpful, there are others who don't enjoy using it at all. The slow, repetitive nature of the platform, along with its flawed grading system, is a recipe for frustration. While the Learning games and Rewards section do provide entertainment, there are other options out there that students can explore. So, it's up to each individual teacher to decide whether they want to include I-Ready in their curriculum or not.

I-Ready My Frustrating Experience with I-Ready: A Review of the Learning Program

My experience with I-Ready has been a bit frustrating, to say the least. As per my school curriculum, I am required to use it twice a week. However, the site seems to treat you as if you are still in preschool, which I find quite patronizing, to be honest.

Furthermore, I have noticed that, in case I get a question wrong, it takes a considerable amount of time for the site to explain the reason behind it. This lengthy explanation time often leads me to lose focus, and I end up getting more questions wrong than I should.

To add to it, the pass rate requirements are absurd, in my opinion. I recently scored 63%, and to my surprise, it was marked as a fail. Despite the claims that the site doesn't give you a grade, receiving a percentage score is, in itself, a grade. Moreover, I was initially given a diagnostic and scored 633 which seemed relatively high, but to my dismay, I still ended up with seventh-grade material, which didn't challenge me enough.

The frustration with the site led me to visit its online support page, i-Ready central. While some may argue that I am using it as a means to avoid work, I can assure you that I am currently writing this in the middle of my school work hours. The pressure to achieve a passing grade heightens when some lessons require 70% to pass, which leads to an increase in stress.

Recently, I have even contemplated turning off my Wi-Fi connection to avoid having to use the site altogether. Seeing a review by someone who claims that I-Ready is practical made me realize that this program only works for some; it definitely isn't suitable for everyone. I even went through some IXL reviews and found that one person who spoke very highly of it, and claimed that i-Ready doesn't work. Now that person resonates with my experience.

Some may argue that these kinds of programs bring out the best in students, providing them with informative and interactive learning sessions. However, I feel like I haven't learned anything worthwhile from it. Hopefully, the developers at I-Ready take heed of these complaints and work towards improving their site to ensure that it's more engaging and informative to use.

I-Ready Mixed Reviews for i-Ready: A Look at Its Limitations for Online Learning

When it comes to online learning, i-Ready (login.i-ready.com) has received some mixed reviews. While some students find the program helpful, others have found it to be a frustrating and tedious experience. For many, the idea of having to watch a screen to learn math and reading can feel impersonal and uninspiring. Some students have also expressed resentment towards the fact that while they are struggling to engage with the content, their teachers are free to grade papers and get ready for the next lesson.

One major issue that many students seem to have with i-Ready is how boring the website is. The characters and storylines that are incorporated into the lessons have been described as "cringey," "useless," and "annoying." Some students feel that the attempts to make the characters sound "cool" or "epic" come across as forced and disingenuous, and that this only serves to distract from the actual learning that is supposed to be taking place.

Another issue that students have with i-Ready is the lack of meaningful learning that they feel they receive from the program. Many students report feeling as though they didn't learn anything of substance from their time spent on the website. Instead, they were left with catchphrases like "suh-weet!" and "look back into the text." While this may be helpful for the short term, students worry that they aren't actually retaining the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their academic careers.

Overall, i-Ready has its limitations when it comes to online learning. While some students may find it helpful, others have expressed frustration and disappointment with the program. It's important for educators and parents to consider the needs and learning styles of individual students when deciding whether or not to incorporate i-Ready into their curriculum.

I-Ready 7th Grader's Review of I-Ready: Outdated Diagnostics, Frustrating Lessons, and Unappealing Characters

Hi there, fellow 7th grader who has experience using I-Ready! I wanted to share my thoughts on this online program and give you some insight into my personal experience with it.

One thing that has stuck out to me over the years is the fact that I-Ready's diagnostics seem to be quite outdated. I've been taking the math and reading diagnostics for five years now, and they haven't changed much at all. Additionally, while the videos intended to help explain concepts can be somewhat helpful, I feel like they could use an update as well. It would be great to see more current and engaging material!

Another area where I struggle with I-Ready is during the lessons themselves. They can be incredibly frustrating, not to mention time-consuming. It's not uncommon for me to spend several hours on just one lesson, only for it to end in failure. This can be really discouraging, and it often means that I have to rush through the lesson in order to complete it and move on. Needless to say, this is not an ideal learning experience.

My biggest issue with I-Ready is probably the way it looks overall. While I understand that it's designed for kids, I still think that the website could benefit from a more professional appearance. In comparison to some other options out there, like DREAMBOX, I-Ready falls short. I actually prefer DREAMBOX overall, because I can complete lessons much more quickly (even if the learning experience isn't great). However, I still have to use I-Ready for school, which is frustrating.

But my biggest qualm with I-Ready has to be the characters. Honestly, they're just not appealing to me at all. I can't stand the way they look, and I really don't like their voices or proportions. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes a difference in how much I enjoy using the program. I feel like I would be much more motivated to use I-Ready if the characters looked more appealing and professional.

Overall, I wouldn't say that I enjoy using I-Ready for school. In fact, it's probably my least favorite part of my education experience. However, I recognize that I have to use it in order to get good grades, so I do my best to make the most of it. I hope that in the future, the developers of I-Ready will take some of these concerns into consideration and work to improve the program.

I-Ready I-Ready Review: A Frustrating Tool for Online Education

When it comes to online educational tools, I-Ready (login.i-ready.com) certainly leaves a lot to be desired. As someone who attended both an elementary and middle school in the Bonsall Unified School District, I can attest to the fact that the district heavily relied on I-Ready for its educational content. Unfortunately, this over-reliance actually had the opposite effect of what was intended - instead of fostering a love of learning, it often left students feeling drained and uninspired.

One of the biggest issues with I-Ready is that it often repeats information that students already know. This can be incredibly boring and frustrating for students who are ready to move on to more challenging material. Additionally, the explanations for new concepts can be quite ambiguous, leaving students confused and struggling to figure out what the lesson is actually supposed to be teaching.

One particularly frustrating example of this occurred when I was in fourth grade. I was performing at a fifth grade level in mathematics and didn't have any trouble until we got to the concept of powers of ten. The way that I-Ready presented this lesson was incredibly disorganized, making it difficult to understand what was happening. On top of that, the explanations for the new concepts were often unclear, leaving me feeling frustrated and confused.

In fact, I was so frustrated by I-Ready that I even wrote a letter to my district's superintendent when I was in sixth grade, arguing that the platform shouldn't be relied on as heavily. Looking back, I realize that I should have spoken up sooner, but it was clear to me even then that I-Ready was holding back my education more than it was promoting it.

Overall, I-Ready's lack of strategy, ambiguous explanations, and platitudinous approach to education makes it a difficult tool to work with. For students who are eager to learn and want to be challenged, it often feels like a waste of time. My hope is that educational platforms will continue to improve and evolve, so that students can have the opportunity to truly thrive and excel.

I-Ready Disappointing and Uninspiring: A Review of I-Ready Educational Program

ery disappointed with I-Ready (login.i-ready.com), I must say that this program was an utter nightmare for both myself and my child. The software is poorly designed and difficult to navigate, with confusing instructions that were difficult to follow at times. In addition, the content and assessments were completely unengaging and uninspiring, leaving my child uninterested and unmotivated to learn anything.

Furthermore, the program focused heavily on rote memorization and repetitive tasks, rather than on critical thinking and problem-solving. My child was bored and frustrated by the lack of challenge and creativity in the program, and I found myself struggling to motivate them to participate in the activities.

Moreover, the customer service and support provided by I-Ready were subpar at best. When we encountered technical difficulties, we were left waiting for long periods of time without any resolution or meaningful assistance.

Overall, I cannot recommend I-Ready to anyone looking for an effective and engaging educational program for their child. The program seems to be more interested in generating profits than in supporting students' learning and growth. Save yourself the time and money, and look for better alternatives elsewhere.

I-Ready I-Ready: Is it a One-Size-Fits-All Approach to Online Learning?

It is important to note that there are differing opinions about the effectiveness of I-Ready, an online learning platform at login.i-ready.com. Some people believe that it presents a one-size-fits-all approach to learning, limiting students to a narrow channel that may not be suitable for everyone. This can result in frustration for some students, who may become stuck on certain topics or fail to engage with the program's methods.

One issue with I-Ready is that it relies heavily on computer-based learning, which can be a significant departure from the traditional classroom environment. As such, some students may struggle to adapt to this new style and may fall behind their peers who are more comfortable using technology. In addition, many children may score lower on initial tests because they require instruction on how to use the program properly.

However, proponents of I-Ready argue that its interactive and adaptive features can help students learn more effectively, especially over time. As students become more familiar with the program, they may develop a better understanding of how to use it to their advantage, leading to improved scores.

It is important to note that I-Ready is often used in public school systems and is typically not employed by private institutions. Some critics may argue that I-Ready's benefits are overstated, and that it is actually an inferior product that is sold to a dumbed-down public school system. This may suggest that I-Ready creates more problems than solutions for many students.

Ultimately, it is up to individual families, schools, and educators to decide whether I-Ready is the right learning platform for them. While some students may thrive on this online tool, others may struggle to engage with its methods. As such, it is always important to consider the unique needs of each individual student before making a decision about which educational resources to utilize.
