Kotak Mahindra Bank current account related

Dear concern,
i am just fed up with your services i am sharing my worst Experience with you recently i visited to sec - 62 noida stler it park kotak mahindra bank branch for current account opening their was Two guy whos name is raj kishor and sayam they took all of my company documents and 30 k cheque on 3/11/2017 when i ask them for the acknowledgment they told me that kotak do not provide any acknowledgment for current account i explain them that we are new startup and we need it on immediate basis because our first payment will be released from client hand on 18 November we also show them all invoice as well as our client contract details they assured me that our tat is 10 working days but we will open it within 4 to 5 days now its being 20 days every day i am trying to contact them now after 19 days they are asking for form inc 32 i dont know why its required and just feeling they are just playing with me . On 17 nov i met with the branch manager Mr. rupesh pandey and he assured me that account will be open on Monday so i dint apply in any other bank now they are even not responding and Mr. Rupesh is not even picking my phone we are new startup company and we even not able to pay salary's to our employees. If i will apply to any other bank it will also take 10 to 15 days now please tell me what should i do all my payments are sucked due to your employees irresponsible behavior they nothing knows about services and quality i am just fed up with these guys how can somebody can do that pathetic services .

Kotak Mahindra Bank customer service

Kotak is india's worst bank, their customer service is pathetic, their employees don't know how to talk to a customer.
I wanted to open a basic saving account(zero balance), so recieved kotak's representative at my home.
That guy was very rude, he was forcing me to open an account with 10000 rupees, when i said i don't need that becoz i already have two more accounts in diffrent banks, he said apko kuch nhi pata apko kuch nhi karna hai.
That guy's way of talking was like an uneducated illiterate person.
An organization should sell what a customer want, not what an organization want.

Dear kotak either shut your bank forever or start hiring educated and well mannerd employees.

Kotak Mahindra Bank customer service

I, Omkar Kishor Rane, I had opened my zero balance account at Sion-branch and its been almost 2 months. I haven't got access to any transaction related service. My account has got freezed, routinely I am contacting branch manager and customer care, my problem is not getting resolve. Only one reply, I am listening, whenever I call, "sir, we will contact to our higher authority, we will let you know" no one is informing me back, I need to take follow ups regularly. I want to close my account, even in that case, I am not getting satisfactory replies. I don't want kotak mahindra service anymore. I want my money back whatever I hv been dispositied.

kindly clarified, why I will pay the bill and why I will received alert mail for total due on card ?

My Card valid date 09/2019. But I requesting you to please cancel my Credit Card.

Kotak Mahindra Bank cheating in the name of gst

I am holding a NRE acc with kotak mahindra bank. While applying i told them that I dont need debit card since I am living outside India. In the application form also I didnt opt for DB(debit card). On july 31 they deducted Rs 590 for debit card annual fee. When I contacted the customer care, they told that they will rebate the amount. After 2 days I got 500 back. Again I contacted the customer care, they told me that Rs 90 is GST they cant rebate that amount. I need to go and ask in the branch. I tried explaining him but he keeps on tell the same thing.
At last he told he will take a complaint and someone from the branch will contact me. 3 days later I got a mail from a bank manager. I explained him all the details to him and i got the below response.

Dear Customer

Greetings for the day…!

As for as the new government rule called GST, doesn’t allow bank to repay the service tax which is already paid because since it is paid to the government directly. So only we were able to reverse only the actual amount charged by the bank.

Sorry for the inconvenience occurred.

Any other service, please feel free contact us.

I know few shops are cheating in the name of GST. Even banks like Kotak Mahindra is also cheating in the name of GST.
How can someone been taxed(GST) for the service/product for which they didnt ask/used.

Kotak Mahindra Bank harassment call

Hi, one of the executive from loan department from Chennai keep on calling and blackmailing me. One of my ex colleague has borrowed loan from your bank and updated my number as reference. Since he has not made payment. Your executive is keep on calling me, I have clearly told he is not in touch but that lady is tourchering me. If he has updated my number what can I do for that. If it repeat I will Lodge a police complaint. I also have recorded the call.

Kotak Mahindra Bank emi recovery

Hi,

I have taken PL from Kotak Mahindra Bank with monthly EMI 15, 157.Due to some reason I was not able to pay amount on time.

From then my struggle started, The recovery agents specially lady from Chennai number harassing me and forcing me to pay the amount right away, if I am refusing then she is calling referrals and harassing them saying crimal department will call you and all

If the EMI is not paid months together, then I agree they can say all they want but if it is not crossed 1 month then why they are harassing

Kotak Mahindra Bank zero balance salary account

I have Zero balance salary account. I left the job.
I continued the Kotak account. Now After some months I have joined the another company. As soon as my salary is credited in the Kotak account. It got deductions so that I dont have money left.

When my recent salary is credited took a mini statement. It was showing the amount including the salary.
But when I checked in Kotak Mobile Banking app it was showing me the different amount at the same time.

Now my Debit card is not working. It says that access denied.
Please process this immedietly

Kotak Mahindra Bank home loan foreclosure

Im nri. I have 2 home loans with ur bank in chennai. For one of it, I asked for copy documents a year go.
They charged for providing copy document, but never provided the right document I asked for.
Totally upset with the service, I am scared of the safety of original documents and decided to go for foreclosure of both loans.
In december 2016, I sent my foreclosure request.
In january, one loan foreclosure statement was provided. Though I settled the loan fully, the bank deducted 2 emis after that.
Iam still fighting for the refund.
For the second loan, I stopped paying emi in march. Then the bank recovery team started calling end of march. After explaining about foreclosure, the statement was sent. Ie after 100 days!
I made 50% settlement and asked for refund of my 2 emis deducted.
The reply was that they started adjusting my repayment against emis and not against the principal.
I will not pay any interest due to your delays and this has to be sorted out immediately, where as your bank takes own time to reply or clarify.
This is horrible and worst banking experience I have had. When I enquired in my friend's circle, those who had banking with kotak bank had the same horrible experience.

Kotak Mahindra Bank debited the amount from my account without informing

As i am having by account at kotak mahindra - mulund west branch.
From this account i have done my all lic & others payment directly though ecs, few days back one payment had been hit to my account of lic & i was having sufficient balance in my account then also the bank persons had rejected & bounce my ecs. When i went to bank they were not able to answer & then when i raise the voice they told that u go to rbi & ask them from the branch it doesn't happen it happen directly, so i want the reason behind that & also they had charge me the bounce charges.
That you will reverse i know that but the problem which i face for that i want the bank or rbi to give me the interest. &
Also bank had deduct 1.50 Lakh from my accouct without informing us & when i went to the bank they were also blank they told us that we have to check why it had deducted, after few days we got to know that it is wrongly been deducted from your account, when i told them to reverse me that amount they had transfer that amount to someone else account & now in our normal routing also they are harassing us like anuthing

So please i had been in very much trouble & i want you to take some action again the "Kotak Mahindra Bank - Mulund West Branch IFSC Code :- KKBK0000642".

Kotak Mahindra Bank cold treatment by customer care executive roopashree for credit card application

Hi, This is Divya and I'm a previleague customer of Kotak.

I got a call from a person called Roopashree (phone # +[protected]) from customer care executive on April 8th. this person told me to save her number and give me a cal when I have a problem regarding credit card issuance.

its been 20 days I have not received a credit after trying customer care number, learnt that my application was declined.

before this I tried to called this person Roopashree to know the status, since I was not aware that application was declined, she disconnected my cal several times I even left a message asking her to call back there was no response.
Horrible service from Kotak, totally un expected.

There was no prior intimation on declining credit card status, I just wasted 20days waiting plus 2 hours wasted in raising complaint and calling customer care.

Kotak Mahindra Bank unfair charges on bank account

I opened a bank account with ING in 2012.Customer relationship number-[protected]. This year on 31st March 2017, their were multiple debits on my bank account a annual maintenance of Rs 862.5 debited twice for two different cards. One of the card registered on my name as per them i do not own this card. I have raised a complaint to them service request number SR#1-[protected]. After a call i have not received any update from them and its been more than 12 days.
Bank account which i hold with them according to it there were no annual charges for debit card. I have requested them for reversal even with the customer care but their is no response from their end. I hope posting a complain here helps.

Kotak Mahindra Bank exorbitant charges levied on personal loan

I was sanctioned personal loan of Rs450000/- repayable in 60 installments by Kotak Mahindra Bank in Dec 2012(Agreement no SPLN-[protected]). After deduction of processing fee of around 2.5%, the balance amount was transferred into my bank account. After more than a month I received a copy of loan account statement. I was shocked to see that over and above the processing fee of 2.5%, the bank had also added additional charges of Credit Administration charges of Rs15237/- and service charges of Rs10718/-. A Life Insurance Certificate from Kotak Life Insurance covering the amount of loan Rs450000/- was enclosed to my statement of account. The statement of account showed a total outstanding of Rs4, 76, 955/-.
While the processing fees of 2.5% charged by the bank is more or less standard practice, the charging of Rs26000/- over and above the processing fee under the heads of credit administration charges (Rs 15237/-) and Service Charges(Rs10718/-) is totally unjustified. Total charges by the bank of Rs40000/- for granting me the loan which is exorbitant. I tried to contact the bank staff on phone and in person by visiting their Sohrab Hall branch in Pune were futile. The bank site clearly mentions that no credit administration fee is charged by the bank whereas in my case a very high amount of Rs15237/- was charged. The bank is requested to not charge me the same.

Kotak Mahindra Bank fraud in balance transfer and not paying the icici bank interest till date after written promise and commitments

Looping all stakeholders and requesting you that please look into the matter asap before spoiling the image of kotak mahindra bank in social media that you are appointing such types of people like rahul majumdar, nikhil sharma, deepika.

I know that amount is not so big but the commitments and promised you did were all fake and fraud. and this will lose your huge business from india. i again request you please eliminate such kinds of persons from your bank else you will earn nothing but will lose everything.

Please remember that i will not pay the emi until i get the payment. and i have never seen these types of liers before and i will try my best that no one should believe on you and pick up your fraud calls. i will do my best in convincing all people around to not to trust on you guys. you are absolutely fraud and doing harassment of indian citizens.

Kotak Mahindra Bank travel card or multi currency card

My name is sameer ahemad and currently iam in the uk. I got my travel card from kotak mahindra bank from ghaziabad branch. I did my first transaction on 21st september after that whenever iam going to atm, the machine show "no information is available from this card". I am calling customer service from past one month and the response iam getting is they always says that travel card team will contact me within 24 hors of complaint but still iam not getting any response. They even told me to send an e-mail but the response from customer service is still awaited. My uk contact no. Is +[protected]

Kotak Mahindra Bank locker rent excess collected - reversal issue

I have locker no. 180 with Chikkadapally br, Hyd since 2011. My SB account No.[protected]. till 2015 50% of locker rent was collected under staff category in my account which is in existence since profile came to existence viz., 2001. During april, 16 full rent was debited to my account. on 6th of April, 16 submitted letter to branch for reversal of excess rent along with service tax. No action. folowed up with the then BOSH. Later, with new BOM over 5 months. No action. referred to ROSH. Response is since the account is not tagged to staff, full rent is charged.
My submission: 1) as ex-staff what I should do for tagging part 2) why br failed to get it corrected as promised 3) when account was tagged to staff category for 15 years, how does suddenly de-tagged. who should do what?
request for reversal of excess rent with service tax under ex-staff.

Kotak Mahindra Bank account opening fraud

Dear sir,

We open account in kotak bank dombivli east. We deposited dated. 07-nov-2016 cheque number 539497 --- kmbl -- akansha ashok kandoi ---- rs. 25000.

Still we doesn't received any document for above, we called many time to your dombivli east branch still no answer. Its seems to be fraud. Please investigate in top priority base, other wise i shall take legal action on bank.

Kotak Mahindra Bank personal loan is sanctioned but yet is delayed without any reason

Hi,
This is Lokesh Reddy Koyya, I have applied for a personal loan and it is sanctioned on 20-11-2016 and bank ppl said amount will be credited by 1 or 2 working days but it isn't credited yet and when I am calling to the respective number which is given to me whenever I am calling those guys are telling it will be credited to my account by EOD but I didn't seen any progress yet.I demand an explanation on it for dealy in response.Its not my duty on everyday to followup on this .I could have approach to any other bank if kotak is not enough capable to deal in short term, and do no publish loan wil be given in few min etc.
I dropped a mail to respective team but no use no reply from them. Kotak Mahindra, somajiguda, hyderabad branch

Kotak Mahindra Bank personal loan

1st Email sent by me to Kotak Bank on 30th August

This is to bring to your notice that the EMI for my loan number (SPLN [protected]) has been deducted through ECS for this month even when a representative was sent to collect Cheque from me. > > Attached is the copy of my account statement which shows that on 25th August ECS was debited from my account and on 30th August Cheque was submitted for the same amount because of which I was charged Rs.350 as a return cheque fee by my bank. > > I fail to understand how can a renowned bank like Kotak Mahindra make such mistakes. I fail to understand when the due date for my Loan EMI is 10th of each month and due to NACH form reason payments were not been deducted from past 3 months, then all of a sudden WHY would you hit ECS debit on 25th of the month even when your representative has collected a cheque from me already. > > Also, what if I had the sufficient amount in my account, you would have extracted twice the amount of my EMI from ME. WHO WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE RESPONSIBILTY THEN? > > This is not the first time I m filing a complaint, as there had been many instances in the past where some or the other issues were not even addressed accordingly > > I have never faulted on my payments, and do not intend to do so, BUT if this unprofessional behavior is what a customer gets out of KOTAK MAHINDRA then I think I would be forced to STOP making payments on my loan

Please be advised that my issue is still not resolved as I'm concerned about the cheque reversal charges that got levied to me from Citibank for not honoring cheque that was presented to my account even after extracting the EMI through ECS by Kotak Mahindra Bank without prior intimation

3rd Email

Please be informed that this matter is pending since August 30th and I haven't received a call or an email about the outcome of the below mentioned concern.

Is there anyone in Kotak Mahindra Bank who is responsible or is ready to take ownership on this or not?

4th Email

The below mentioned issue is still un-resolved.

Also, below mentioned is another charge of Rs 50 that levied to me from my bank because of Kotak's mistake

So in total Rs 400 has been charged to me due to Kotak's error
