I urge all consumers to boycott kroger's. I was falsely accused of shoplifting there and was arrested. I went into a kroger store last week and was buying several bottles of wine for a party hosted by several members of my congregation - let me also say that I am an ordained minister. None of this meant anything to the kroger manager. Anyway, they had a sale on a bottle that I buy regularly for everyone - a cambria pinot noir that normally sells for $23/bottle was down to $18/bottle. So I took my little brown handbasket with four bottles of wine in it back out to where the shopping carts were to put them in a shopping cart and go get a few more bottles. But upon reentering the store, I was approached by the store manager, a white middle-aged overweight man who was very unhappy with me. After yelling at me for an hour, he had a police officer take me off to jail, where I was processed and forced to spend almost six hours. I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I am angry. My god wants me to practice forgiveness, and given the situation, it is hard. I may be able to forgive them, but I will never shop there again. I know that this is only something that he can know, but I strongly feel that there was a racial aspect to this decision too. He frequently referred to "people like you"... And "your kind. " it was just terrible. It's not worth it. I'll just shop at meijer or bigg's. What a shame that a large, local public company can so easily lose sight of the importance of their customers.. And instead, treadting them to shabbily that it has given me a criminal record? What will I tell my parish?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Why didn't you leave the hand basket with the bottles, by the door where you went to get the shopping cart and when you came back in, put the bottles in your shopping cart?
This way, the bottles are still in the store. You don't have to carry the bottles that are heavy more than you have too.
right! Ordained ministers never commit crimes. you must be a drunk and thief and belong in jail!
as a minister you should not be urging people to boycott any store as the bible says to forgive and if you are urging people not to shop there you are not even though you say you can. As it says in the bible "judge not less yea be judged"
troll complaint.
nothing to see here...
LOL this is so obviously fake.
