Laptop Screen International awful company

I'm very frustrated.
I received a defective package. Well, the item inside of it was defective.
I immediately called their customrr service and was on hold for over an hour. It's unbelievable that in the 21th century lines can be so busy. Or they are just understaffed.
Anyway, one male representative picked up the phone and I explained my problem. He was rude and seemed like I was bothering him from doing something more interesting.
Our conversation lasted 5 minutes and I got no help from him. Then I wrote several emails, but all of them are still unanswered.

Laptop Screen International laptop screen arrived broken!

Ordered a laptop screen.

It arrived.

When I opened it, the fragile laptop screen was packed inside two flimsy bubble mailers and then tossed into a larger box. It was notably bent and had a large broken area.

I took photos and sent them to customer service, and was informed that since I did not open the box immediately, there would be NO REFUND.

YOU SHOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

LaptopScreen.com insures all screens it sends with damage insurance. LCD screens are fragile, but despite that only 1 in 5, 000 on average arrives broken. Customer placed an order on July 31st and it was delivered on August 3rd, 2017. Customer contacted us on September 07, 2017, more than a month after the item was delivered and claimed that it was damaged through shipping. Shipping damage claims must be reported in reasonable time - ideally on the same day - but couriers allow a grace period of up to 5 days. Claims beyond this time are considered user damage. Laptop Screen International Broken screen

My friend recommended me this site and that's why I decided to order from LaptopScreen. Never heard about it before and that was my first (and definitely the last) order with them. Purchased a screen and asked for the next day delivery. My screen finally showed up on the third day and when I opened the package I saw that my screen was completely smashed! It looked like as if someone dropped it on the ground or something. I'm very disappointed that I wasted my money and purchased from LaptopScreen.

Laptop Screen International If you're looking for a laptop screen look elsewhere in my opinion

I really don't know what to say, with all of their "positive reviews" along with claiming an only 1 in 5000 error rate, I felt like I was making a solid choice ordering from them. It turns out I was just going to end up being out $100. I ordered the proper screen from their site and it arrived on a timely basis I'll give them that. It was the wrong screen though, not even for the right brand of computer or the correct resolution. I call them and their "customer service" was kind enough to start off sounding agitated as they tried to pawn me off on their website support. As I explained the situation to the person he was nice enough to keep telling me I was in fact wrong, and they had sent the right screen because "man there are like 6 screens for your laptop, you ordered the wrong one". So as I sit and tell him that I am looking at the back of the screen in comparison to what they should have sent me, he continues to tell me I'm wrong. Finally I cave and contact them through chat, they too are nice enough to tell me I'm at fault initially. By the way I have supplied them with plenty of model and reference numbers at this point. Once they figure out that they are indeed at fault they open up a ticket on their site so the issue can be resolved. In a couple days they still haven't replied to the ticket, so I contact Paypal and open a dispute. Now they reply and tell me that I can send it back for a refund. I'm in college at this point so I don't have a lot of free time between classes and working. And as the weeks pass I never receive a refund, so I bring it up and they ask for the tracking number, apparently they don't use any kind of system to keep track of things as I put an RMA number on the package, shouldn't they have it marked as received somewhere? Or what is the point of this number. Well I send them the tracking info and they send me back pictures of a damaged screen that isn't the original screen they sent me and claim this is what they received from me, oh they received the package within a few days of me sending it also. So, why didn't they bring this up then, instead of several weeks later? Anyways now I'm just hoping they will see some kind of reason and atleast refund me the difference between the two screens, which they really should have done already. Maybe they do get orders right sometimes, but to be honest the way they do business is really offending and they don't deserve a dime of anyone's money. If you're looking for a laptop screen look elsewhere in my opinion.

This person did not contact us prior to submitting the review, neither did they contact us after submitting the review in public or in private. This person did not provide order number.
This person also posted the same review on "http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.laptopscreen.com#1357" under a different name "MichaelB".

If this person indeed is missing a $100 they are not making any effort to get it back. One would think posting a negative review is a way to get retribution (it is), but if retribution is not claimed, one has to wonder about real reasons for such a scathing review from an Anonymous poster.

Care to provide an order number to substantiate your feedback and help us help you?
Because let's face it, anyone can come on the Internet and allege atrocities committed against them anonymously,
so if the $100 is indeed your interest, post an order number - it will only identify you to the company, and
no one outside the company would have any use to it as it does not disclose any personal information.

I purchased a screen that turned out to be defective. They refunded my money for the screen but made me pay $10 shipping for something that wasn't my fault!

I dont believe you ellisb. takes you trolls weeks to refund my money. you also blamed the shipping company.. really? you couldnt take a few minutes off trolling the forums to email me an update that my 2 day shipping was going to take a week? thats called responsibility troll.. also quit posting positive reviews.. americans will see through your lame attempts at forgery.

Sharon, you received FULL refund the same day, check your banking statement. FYI the screen is not defective, you just picked it wrong for your laptop, please be more attentive next time.

Laptop Screen International Much more expensive than in Spain

Very bad. Secret information. You have to pay taxes and valuations in the customs. Much more expensive than in Spain.

why do their reps troll forums for complaints? why dont they just do their damn jobs when they get an order? if my screen were sent out in a timely matter or I were contacted that it was going to be late I wouldnt have been pissed. they so smart they blame the shipper for NOT contacting me. idi*ts.

It is common knowledge that international cross-border shipments may be subject to receiving country's taxes and duties.
It is clearly stated on our website that we have nothing to do with foreign import taxes and duties.

USA bound orders will ship from Seattle and Canadian bound orders will ship from Vancouver to avoid any of that for US and Canadian customers.

Laptop Screen International I would stay away from them

That a site like 'laptopscreen.com' can generate double the feedback compare to Amazon.com is more then highly suspicious.

I would stay away from them.

any company that worries enough about the positive / negative reviews MORE than the orders sitting on the floor not to contact the customer tells me you are in fact faking all you do.

Laptop Screen International I would never use this company or recommend it to anyone

I ordered a screen and it did not work when I received it. I then had to pay another 15 dollars to have it shipped back and then another 15 to ship a new one. This screen has now cost an extra 45 dollars with all their fees to ship again. I would never use this company or recommend it to anyone. Their customer service is awful. Hopefully the new screen will work when I receive it. If not I'll take a hammer to it and send it back in pieces and write a bad review on every site I can. STAY AWAY!

Laptop Screen International Would recommend paying a little more and buy in the USA

Beware! Laptopscreen.com is the same as screencountry.com and vancouver laptop inc. They did not ship the same day as boldley stated on website. Recieve screen 10 days from day of purchase. Opened box and screen has a major defect, has horizontal line accross it. Have been trying to resolve via webb site. Now they ignore my request for RMA. Bad people to deal with. Will be out $102 dollars. Do not purchase from them. Would recommend paying a little more and buy in the USA.

DO NOT, DO NOT buy from them! I have bought from them in the past. They do not stand behind their product and do not create proper disassembly videos. You will end up damaging your laptop

I paid for 2nd day shipping on the 11th. Its the 19th and I still dont have the screen.

"Laptopscreen.com was recommended to me when I needed a screen fast. I found out they were local (within 55 miles to my house), so I thought I had found the perfect solution to my problem. Boy was I wrong! I made the order on May 27th early enough in the day to expect it to arrive the next day or maybe even the day after. When it didn't show up on either day I gave them a call. The kid on the phone kept talking over me while I was explaining (which was pissing me off even more) and after looking at it tells me that it will take at least 5 working days to get to me, cause that was just how it was. I am hoping it does finally show up. Due to poor customer service and horrible shipping practices I would never recommend this place to anyone.

After my wife's laptop screen cracked for no apparent reason I rolled the dice with these guys despite negative reviews. Ordered late Sunday night, shipped Monday, received early afternoon Tuesday. Re & re'd my first screen in about 40 minutes with no problem after watching a youtube video. Works perfectly, wife is happy, saved a bundle. Quick and painless. I am in Vancouver Canada which helps shipping time, but still, all in all very satisfactory product, service and pricing. Thanks, guys!

Customer is unhappy that the screen did not arrive 4 days earlier.

laptopscreens.com are a bunch of first class canadian *&^^&#@s. As an unfortunate EX-customer of theirs I would recommend to stay away from these immature kids. They may treat the guy who buys 10 screens a month well, but the guy that buys 1 or 2 a year will get the short end of the stick with these guys. I seen many complaints on poor shipping times and equally poor customer service.

You dont even have to pay more to NOT use them... use a USA company rather than these fly by night chumps. BBB B rating company... they do have complaints everywhere on them.

i have just ordered from laptopscreens.com i was hesitant but ill be honest its cheap and they had the screen i needed. i checked them out on bbb which is the better business bureau and it says they have been in business awhile and they have resolved their 9 complaints they have had against them. i will update you on this website when i have recieved my screen i placed this order at apx 8:18 pm cst on feb 4 2012 ill let you know when i get it and how it looks.

Laptop Screen International They are bunch of robbers, never deal with them

They are the worst. I bought laptop screen from them. Received green and wanted to return it. they accepted after I paid the return fee. I sent back the screen and asked for refund. They paid 80% of the original price after deducting 20% of the price for restocking fee despite that the screen was bad. They are bunch of robbers! never deal with them.

Hey, I brought a replacement screen from laptopscreen.com and the service was really really great. An A+ service. I got the delivery in the mentioned day and the screen I got also was really good. It fitted just perfectly and was great. Highly recommend this site to anyone looking for replacement screens.
