I wanna talk about my experience with LAVU, Inc. I read some reviews before signing up for a 3-year deal with them. I hope those bad experiences are all in the past, cuz so far, I'm pretty happy with their support. Setting up a new POS and menu ain't easy, but Lavu did all the hard work for me. Now I'm selling and the system is working great. Shoutout to *** who really cared about making sure my setup was successful. Thanks a bunch!

LAVU, Incorporated has been overcharging me (charging me when I didn't have an account) for years and lying to me about it. Most recently, they promised me a full refund of the fraudulent charges three weeks ago and now they have gone back on that. RUN FROM LAVU COMPANY! THEY ARE THIEVES WHO WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU AFTER YOU CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT. Two years since I dumped LAVU, and they're are still charging me. Every single month, I call them up and have to fight with the company because they will not stop charging me. They also change up the amount they charge every month. You all are thieves. You are stealing bread from my child's mouth. Even now, I've been on hold for over 30 minutes while they "look into things." Lies, lies lies. Thousands of dollars stolen from fraudulent charges and the many hours and hours of wasted time calling them have led me to believe one thing - LAVU (the entire criminal enterprise and all its workers) belong in jail.

LAVU, Incorporated Their customer service is just ridiculous

Their customer service is just ridiculous. They have service outages and no customer support. We tried to contact them but they said they had no record of it. We canceled our account in June and switched to Toast. I called Lavu to cancel all our services and our CardConnect account. They said no further action was needed. But we were still being charged $74.99 a month for five months after our account was closed. I called Lavu three times this month and they said they would take care of it, but they didn't. They said they have no record of me speaking to them. I've been on the phone for over an hour waiting to speak to a billing manager. They said they have audio recordings of all calls. I hope they review my calls and give me some customer service. I don't recommend this company. Document everything with dates and names of who you speak to.

LAVU, Incorporated We got LAVU for our restaurant/club in 2013

We got LAVU for our restaurant/club in 2013. We use it and it's mostly good. We had to buy a new system in 2019 because we couldn't update the ipads anymore. The monthly hosting fees have gone up a lot since we first got it. The customer service used to be good, but now it's not so good. We've had problems with our End of Day Reports for months. They can't fix it or don't know how to. I call every week and it's been wrong for 7 days since September. The totals are wrong and it messes up my accounting. It also messes up my state sales tax report. I've gone through every order and found the problem. They say it's something they have to fix in the back end. I've asked to talk to a manager, but they say there isn't one and they're working from home. One person said a manager would call me back, but they never did. It's frustrating. We've spent a lot of money and expect better customer service.

LAVU, Incorporated I closed my account in December, but the fees keep coming out of my account in February, March, and now April

I closed my account in December, but the fees keep coming out of my account in February, March, and now April. I had to call and argue on the phone to get my money back. It takes hours to deal with, and it's costing me time and money.

LAVU, Incorporated I got charged for a service that Lavu said they can't do yet, but they won't give me all my money back

I got charged for a service that Lavu said they can't do yet, but they won't give me all my money back. Lavu said they can't do the service they sold me, but they still charged me for 2 whole months and part of another month. They took $976.80 from me. I had to go to my bank to stop them from taking more money. I can't call Lavu's billing department. It's crazy.

LAVU, Incorporated I used Lavu for 8 years and decided to cancel

I used Lavu for 8 years and decided to cancel. I emailed them a few times but they asked me questions before they would cancel. I answered them and thought it was done. But, they charged me for 3 months even though my credit card was expired. I called them and explained the problem. After 45 minutes, they said someone from accounting would call me before they could cancel. I still get emails saying my card can't be charged even though I cancelled it.

LAVU, Incorporated Lavu is a company that sells POS systems, we got with them in 4

Lavu is a company that sells POS systems, we got with them in 4. There product wouldn't work as intended. Finally, after months of trying to get their equipment to work, we decided to install a direct internet connection because their wireless internet wasn't working in our area. They charged us for specialized equipment and made us buy a *** wireless phone line and a *** SIM card for an iPhone. Then they promised us a credit, we returned the equipment and explained in several 100 emails but no response. They suspended our account and locked us out of important sales information concerning our business when we refused to pay their invoices despite not being credited for what they owe us. Their credit card processor keeps charging us $59.00 monthly since September because no sales are being generated. We are in processing of filing lawsuit against the company and individuals involved. Their customer service reps never return emails or phone calls.

LAVU, Incorporated We signed up with Lavu in 2019 for $79 a month and a contract for credit card processing

We signed up with Lavu in 2019 for $79 a month and a contract for credit card processing. Now we pay $174.06 a month, not including credit card fees. During covid, we got free access to Menu Drive, but when it ended, we stopped using it. We were charged for months and it took 6 months to get a credit back. Now we pay $40 a month for "tableside order taking devices" we don't use. They said it's because we downloaded the app (which doesn't work) on our iPhones and iPad. We deleted the apps, but still get charged. We've contested for months and still get charged. Lavu has bad billing practices. We're frustrated and looking for other POS options, but don't want to rebuild our menu. Lavu didn't do it right in the beginning either. We just want to stop being overcharged!

LAVU, Incorporated Lavu POS System has not been good with their contract with us in supporting their POS System

Lavu POS System has not been good with their contract with us in supporting their POS System. We have orders for credit card money that the Lavu System has not paid us, dating from September 25, September 30, and November 9. We think this issue has been happening since we started using Lavu for their POS system services. We have contacted Lavu many times for this same issue, starting on September 27, when we realized that the 9/25 order was not paid. I have contacted our credit card processor, and they show no data for the receipt printed out of the Lavu POS System that clearly shows a credit card transaction happened and we should have received money for such transactions. Lavu's only response has ever been that there's a ticket in place. It's been over 60 days now, and we still haven't received any satisfactory solution to our issue, and more and more credit card transactions are missing without being paid through our credit processor who receives all their data from the Lavu POS system. We can trace these issues back to at least March, and we think they go back even further! Lavu has been unresponsive to our requests for clarification and fixing of the problem, along with restitution for monies owed from Lavu POS system to us.
