Endless purchases for little content
Next time the kiddo stops playing this, I’m deleting. It’s endlessly frustrating how frequently a new and exciting level! pops up ending in frustration and tears when we don’t want to spend yet another $7 for levels. A subscription is pointless. Spare yourselves the torture and don’t even try the free one.
Lack of content
My grandson loves this game but is constantly asking me to open the roads that are blocked and he gets frustrated when we can’t.it’s that something you will work on?or the game will be like this always? I try to explain to him in different ways that I can’t and it’s a little frustrating that it doesn’t have more to do :(
No family sharing?
I subscribed to this app in hopes of family sharing with my son and daughter. Instead I ended up getting charged 2-3 times just so they can have the experience. Is this by error or is family sharing not an option. If it’s fixable, I’d like to get refunded so I can share the account and my kids can continue having fun with the app. Otherwise, I’m cutting it off.
It’s great but cannot share across accounts
My kids share my iPad sometimes to play the regular DUPLO which allows family sharing, but the marvel version appears to not work across family sharing, the kids don’t understand why they cannot play it on the iPad like they can the other one, poor things don’t get it when I say, “the app developers didn’t ship consistency in family sharing as a MVP requirement when building marvel; maybe a later version”
Incredibly disappointing
After my 4 year old saw the "coming soon" for Hulk (thank you for finally hiding it) for forever and begging me to make it playable, I bought the subscription so we'd have access as soon as it was available. After ages of waiting, we get Hulk! But it's one screen and he essentially does 1 thing (pick up and throw boulders). Why is Hulk even doing this, smashing buildings that are being built? Weird, disappointing, waste of money.
Very little to do
My 3.5 year old can do everything the game offers in like 20 minutes. If I’m expected to pay money it should have more to offer. Green goblin comes and steals things every couple minutes. No variety in villains. Nothing to do but a puzzle while we wait for him to show up again?
He’s also frustrated by the Hulk coming soon as others have stated. But I’m more worried about $5 for very little gameplay. There should be many games to explore in each section.
Love the game but no family sharing
My son LOVES this game so I downloaded it on my phone when we were away from home for him to play. Unfortunately, this developer doesn’t allow the one time in-app purchase to be shared through Apple’s family sharing. I’m not paying for it again to put it on the other device my kids use for their games. Having four kids with different devices, I’m not going to purchase a game four different times. I’m not going to purchase anymore Lego games until they decide to fix this.
Disappointed Dad
This was brutal- my little guy loves Marvel super hero’s so we downloaded the game and he got bored with just Captain America after a while so I decided to purchase the In-App subscription for $19.99 but guess what- even though we have Family Sharing enabled whenever he uses my wife’s devices that subscription doesn’t apply, so he gets incredibly disappointed. Instead of making a freemium game that can only work on one parents devices just make a full-price app and you’d have happier kids and parents.
What did I spend $20 on?
My 4 year old son loves this app for the 10-15 minutes that it takes to play. He, like the others mentioned, gets frustrated when he tries to play hulk and it /still/ isn’t available. I see in the responses the company is mentioning there will be more to do soon and to keep checking back but it’s been months that the hulk has been advertised. There is also little to do game play wise. It is the same repetitive scene in Spidey… Captain America is at least slightly better with a few options of game play. Disappointed and frustrated.
start screen needs work
My child loves the other Lego apps so I purchased this one for her to. Everything is great quality just like the other ones except for the splash screen. Having the coming soon Hulk game is extremely frustrating to the kids. This app is targeted for very young toddlers and they don’t understand the coming soon notion. She gets extremely frustrated and starts crying because Hulk won’t start and it’s so big on the screen. Please don’t make that so predominant or even remove it for people that have paid the annual subscription already.
Kills your phone
Content wise my kid loves the different activities and we love the spidey and captain America packs
The reason this is 1 star is because within 2-5 minutes my phone (13 pro max) is burning to the touch. No other game does this to the phone. A DUPLO kids game should not have me concerned about destroying my phone or having the kid injured (unlikely).
Maybe the game needs better device optimization or something, but it is a shame because the game is actually really good for the kid. I don’t even mind the paying for the character packs.
Limited games in Spidey and Friends
My 3 year old and I really like the original Duplo games, where there are so many different scenes and things to do for play and had to try out the Marvel games when it became available. Captain America is great with different things he does. However, in Spidey there really isn’t much to do. A puzzle and building blocks. The pizza and balloons station are basically the same thing: the Green Goblin comes and steals the pizza/balloons and Spidey and Friends have to shoot their webs to bring him down; the end. Very disappointing for $5 and what I expect from LEGO Duplo.
My kid loves this app
My son loves legos and he extra loves super hero’s. He’s especially obsessed with Hulk. The fact that he has to wait for new content is no big deal. It teaches him patience and once new things release he values having it even more (there’s this weird thing with immediate gratification these days). I’ve seen some reviews complain about when things release, but thank for not rushing I’d rather u take your time to make it great than rush to put things out and it be mediocre. We will continue to support as long as it’s fun for my little, which I’m sure it will be for along time.
$20 for everything….What??
I am avid Lego fan and a supporter. We have at least 40-50 Lego sets built and played with. I don’t ever write reviews or complain but alas today I must start… not $20 but annually only one game with little content? I foolishly believed at those prices it was for ALL the Duplo apps. (That is my fault but what you get for the value is the point.) So be warned it’s only Marvel with one day tops of content playability. My 4yr was so excited for 5 mins and then was finished the game. The other Duplo apps are even more expensive. Seriously I will pay premium for a good product but this is ridiculous! Please don’t encourage or endurance this ridiculous money grab. I took a chance and fell for it but you don’t have too.
3 kids, and no family subscription sharing??
I have 3 elementary-aged kids who all adore these games. We have several iPads/iPhones, and each kid has their own unique Apple ID for us to control their individualized screen time limits, etc. We have purchased games and content on each of their devices, and on our own phones, which we are able to share via the Family Sharing function in Apple Subscriptions. I purchased the (ridiculously expensive for what little content is actually available!) $29.99 annual subscription on my daughter’s iPad to unlock all content, but strangely, even though “share purchases with family” is checked, this is not accessible to anyone else. Am I ACTUALLY expected to spend $149.95 on 5 different subscriptions for my family to all have access to this game? Get it together, StoryToys/Lego. It’s a cash grab, and NOWHERE in this app description does it state that subscriptions are not able to be shared within a family account.

Disappointed
There’s only one game without purchasing in app. My grandson enjoys Spider-Man so much I purchased another game. It won’t download, always says there was a problem

Purchased content
I purchased a different character on my phone, so that I could download it easier onto my son’s tablet, and it’s saying there are no purchases to restore. So frustrating.

$6.99 a month
That’s the subscription price for a handful of horrible games that will entertain your child for a few minutes. That’s the price they think this is worth. It’s laughable.

Only a year subscription available
For the most fickle people on the planet—little kids. I would have paid $7-8 for a month’s access that I could cancel, but not $20 for a year. My kid will lose interest in a matter of days.

No sound
I have 100% NO SOUND. I feel ripped off paying for this monthly to not have my child be able to enjoy it all the way with no sound. I’ve updated the app and the phone. The sound settings ARE ON. And nothing.

Wasted FIFTY BUCKS on WORTHLESS Lego apps
Don’t waste your $$!
We purchased TWO subscriptions for two different Lego duplo apps, and NEITHER ONE shares access to the kids’ devices! What’s the point?!?!?! A TON of app subscription $$$ WASTED!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Ironman underwater
$5.00 and Super disappointed in the non-interactive gameplay. Ship with no purpose and slide that can’t be used. Only whale reunited and submarine fix and bubble popping, not enough, fix and update.
Do better!

Sound not working
The app sound on iPad stopped working. iPhone on same account works fine. Kids don’t understand functionality issues. I did pay for annual and will likely get my money returned if not resolved in the coming week.

What is the game?
What is the point of this game? I am really confused about what to do? I did the puzzle, built Spider-Man and got green goblin several times. What am I supposed to do to advance because this is really getting old.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Not that great
This game isn’t good. There really isn’t much to it. Walk back and forth. A few blocks to build but that’s it. The free Captain America is good enough. I wasted $10 on the Spidey and Hulk. Refund would be great.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
No family sharing
Absolutely ridiculous! I purchased on my iPhone for my boys, but they cannot access on their tablets?! What a cash grab. I want to pay, but they don’t let me use it across my devices. What a shame. I highly recommend against.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I feel ripped off!
I purchased the $4.99 Spider-Man and and then another $4.99 Hulk games and my grandson only got to play them once and now they show locked again and need to be re-purchased. I’m very disappointed to get a one time play for the money paid.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Game has no sound
For weeks this game has had no sound when I play it on my device. I’ve done the updates, checked my device settings and of course checked the device volume. All attempts were unsuccessful in solving my sound issues my issues.
Why hasn’t there been an update solution pushed out by the developer?
