Love this game but
The only reason that this doesn’t get a solid four or five from me is that there is no way to escape the ads. I like this game enough that I would happily pay a couple bucks to get an ad-free gaming experience but as it is, the ads are frequent and interrupt the game. Designers- please consider adding an option to remove the ads. This game could be a serious contender for a lot of folks if there was an affordable option to avoid the ads. There isn’t anything similar that I’ve played and I love logic games.
Great idea - not so great issues
I really like the idea of the game and it’s a fun way to do it but the clues are way too vague- I hate guessing and they count it wrong if there’s a typo or if you make something plural that isn’t (and vice versa)
And there’s ad after ad after ad- way more than any other game I play - plus you use the lives up pretty quickly and you have to watch ads for hints the rest of the game
Please fix it and I’ll be back
Poor execution
Great concept, poor execution... get rid of the ads and fix the clues. Many of them are wrong or ambiguous. When u say something is on "a diagonal"... that could mean anything. All cells are on "a diagonal." If u mean it is diagonal to the current cell then please say that. If the goal is to get us to watch as many ads as possible then you are doing a great job. But i will quit playing until u do better with the clues.

Love it but leaving
This game is fun but I have the same complaints as the other reviewers.
You shouldn’t have to guess at an answer because not enough information is provided in the clues.
Three to four ads inside a play level! Yikes! I’d be more willing to watch two between levels than have my play interrupted. After the ad you often have to reread all the clues because you’ve lost your train of thought.
Love this game but, I’m done. Deleting.
Fun concept, good start
As others have mentioned, a little forgiveness in the spelling area would be nice. Also, perhaps the ability to shade a cell with a clue you have completed would be very helpful. Sometimes you don’t use a direction immediately and it can be time-consuming to find it again later. If you could gray out a cell you’ve finished that would help immensely. And, of course, the ads are excessive, but it’s to be expected in a free game unfortunately.
Ads,Ads,Ads
I just completed a 4 x 4 grid where it took me ~5 seconds to enter a grid answer, then immediately I got an 30 second ad that then flipped to a 5 second countdown to an arrow, that then flipped to another 5 second countdown. So about 40 seconds of ads to get 5 seconds of play. More than half of the clues led to this sort of ad, meaning my pleasure as a solver was completely erased by the greed of the makers. I’m deleting it. Too much greed.
No Spelling Typo or Lingo Flexibility
There is no flexibility for typos, spelling, lingo. Instead of ‘stuntman’ it’s ‘stunt performer’. ‘Cameraman’ is ‘camera operator’. If you mistakenly put ‘csmera’ you lose a life. If you put ‘premier’ and forget the ‘e’ as in ‘premiere’ you lose a life. If you mistype one letter or space - you lose a life. There should be allowances for simple mistakes and similar words and meanings.
Otherwise, I love it.
But I agree about the intrusive ads
Omg the ads…
I get that free games come with ads. If a game is good enough, I don’t mind the ads. But sometimes ads pop up WHILE YOU'RE TYPING AN ANSWER. Not after a level, not after finishing, say, five answers … no, just randomly and frequently, and in the middle of gameplay. Super annoying.
Also, there is rarely enough information, so you end up guessing. Anyone who plays logic puzzles knows that, even though it may be difficult, there should be no guessing.
Interrupted by ads
I don’t mind watching ads between levels, but level 6 was interrupted by four different ads. Not only that, but the third ad crashed the game, so that I had to restart it, and it lost some of my progress on the level. I had to re-solve part of the puzzle I had already completed, and it interrupted me with the fourth ad before I could even get back to where I was before it crashed. This could’ve been a fun game, but it’s just an ad engine. I’m deleting it.
these ads are driving me crazy
I love this game BUT the ads are killing me. I was hoping I could pay to get an ad free version but it doesn’t exist. It’s so frustrating. When I first started playing, there were only ads every once in a while. Now that I am hooked, after every square that I solve there is an ad. Like why is that necessary! I really wanna keep playing but I am about to delete the app and move on. I also can’t find any other games like this one. I will literally pay to not have ads. Please!
Ads Ads Ads Ads
I really enjoy the game itself….[insert 30 second ad here]…but the ads come and they keep…[insert 30 second ad here]…coming. They don’t just…[insert 30 second ad here]…occur between games, but…[insert 30 second ad here]…several times during games. While I understand…[insert 30 second ad here]…the reason for ads, a little moderation would be nice. [insert 30 second ad here]. A better option would be…[insert 30 second ad here]…to offer an ad-free option. [insert 30 second ad here]
WAY too many ads
This is the second game by this developer that I want to love because the game play is a new twist on logic problems, however I am spending more time watching ads than I am getting to play (literally, 7 ads within the first four levels, it’s a little ridiculous). That being said, at least the other game I’ve tried has the option to remove ads— THIS one does not. Until you reduce the frequency of the ads or offer an ad free choice, I can’t recommend this game to anyone. Which is a bummer.
Sooooo Many Ads
I absolutely LOVE this game but the ads are ridiculous. Please give us a chance to purchase the game in order to get rid of ads. I’d be happy to pay for it! Also, there needs to be some flexibility in answers. If I put “shoe” and you were looking for “shoes,” it’s marked wrong, and vice-versa. C’mon. That shouldn’t happen. There should be some way to allow both answers to be correct. I never write reviews but I decided to for this game because I love the premise so much but it needs to be improved.
Great game
But you never get a chance to play it. You get one step and then an ad. You need to think and remember to be able to play to win. You are distracted for so long with ads you can’t remember what you were doing. Ratio of ad time to play time is ludicrous . I’m frustrated. This is not entertainment. I’m deleting this app, you are stealing my time with no reward.
No one can put up with this, everyone will quit. Make an ad free version. You are not offering any quality playtime to your target audience.
Insane amount of ads
The game is fun itself but the ads are WAY too excessive. Worse than in any other game I’ve ever seen and I’ve played a LOT of games. Seems like it’s every few seconds. And no option to pay to get rid of ads. Some of the puzzles don’t give enough clues. For instance on pizza…I had two squares left and no more clues left. I had to use the hint which of course means more ads. Then one of the words was something I’ve never heard of but yet something everyone associates with pizza like pepperoni isn’t on the list. Also they shouldn’t mark it incorrect for spelling or typos. Some minor adjustments to the game would make it 5 stars.
Too Many Ads !
Way too many ads like every five seconds and when your working on figuring out the clues and where the answer has to go a freakin ad pops up and they aren’t short ads either its just very annoying. Plus some of the clues answers could go into more than one cell so you either guess wrong and lose a life or have to use a hint or come back to that clue as the puzzle fills in…after watching annoying ads of course. I would have given this game 5 stars if it wasnt for so many ads.
Usually a game will for a fee block ads but i don’t see this option nor can you purchase hints …nope gotta watch another ad like there’s not enough already.
Annoying ads
The game concept is very good. I’m sure I would love playing it if they were not an excessive number of ads with sound that continue after closing the ad. Some of the ads pop up in the middle of the game not just win you need a new life.
Because you can only see part of the puzzle at one time, there is constant moving to find the cell you want to fill in. Making the entire puzzle visible while playing the game would be much more conducive to wanting to play the game again. Unfortunately, I have to delete this app because it is a waste of my time. I want to play to increase brain flexibility. I don’t need to develop my fine motor skills.
SO MANY ADS
The game itself is interesting and makes you think. Some of the clues are too vague at times. This games major downfall is the amount of ads it has. There’s no way to pay to remove the ads, the ads are long, they show up in the middle of the game ( several times depending on the size of the board) they show up after each level. You only get 3 free hints in the entire game and after using them you have to watch ads to get each and every one. If you use all of your ‘lives’, for lack of a better term, you have to watch an ad to keep going or restart the entire level.
The ads are annoying and I won’t recommend this game to anyone because of it.
Outstanding concept, fair to middling implementation
I love logic problems and knowledge games so the concept of this game is fabulous! But the ads! Oh my…I am closing to deleting it because of them. Really … in the middle of a level. I don’t mind paying a reasonable amount to lose the ads but get rid of any add more than about 15 secs.
I would love the ability to mark that I have used all of a cell’s clues.
I am not certain how you are using diagonals. I had one that said in separate diagonals but they were in the same row, or column, or diagonal. I figure pf out after what you meant but an explanation would help.
Any chance we could zoom the screen in and out?
And finally, if I go through the effort of getting a hint (watching another ad), it would be nice if it had a hint with it so I could keep going.
Wonderful concept… please fix and enough with all the ads, Please!
Ads and screen size…
I really, really like the idea of this app. It is a different twist on the typical logic problems where you mark an X or a checkmark.
Many others have commented on the ads. It’s true. You watch an add to get a hint, and then when you try to use the hint, you have to watch yet another ad. Very annoying.
My second comment is that I play on a decent sized iPad (10” or whatever, but not a mini), and the way the screenplay is - it doesn’t take up the whole screen of the device - there is still black space all around. It allows you to enlarge or decrease the app screen size, but even after enlarging it, you still can’t see the whole grid on your screen. I am constantly scrolling up and down and right to left to reread clues at look at previous answers. It makes it far more difficult to enjoy and just play.
I would suggest to the developers that this is one of the biggest issues. If you could see an entire grid on the screen, it would improve the experience greatly.
Lexilogic Complaints 10
Gameplay is fun, but those ads!
As has been mentioned by others, the ads are very persistent, even popping up in the middle of a level. They’re annoying enough between levels or when needed to regain a life after too many wrong guesses. There are some that last much longer than 30 seconds and/or can’t be skipped shortly after they begin. There is at least one that seems unnecessarily racy; I don’t see the need for game ads to be rated PG-13, especially on games rated for all ages.
There are some vague clues that make you guess rather than deduce; level 20 has “purple vegetables are on either side of this clue” but only one of those vegetables is revealed elsewhere. Or “a vegetable similar to pea” ? If you use a plural where none is expected, or vice versa, it’s a wrong answer.
I used two clues on a level because the first one didn’t reveal anything. Now I have one left and don’t know how or if I can receive more.
Logic Game not Logical
Greetings. I really like the concept of this game and enjoy logic puzzles. However, being frustrated by so many ads during game play, I did a little research. I found that the developer “first tasted success in 2017 when the company became experts in the digital advertising field”. This may explain the excessive amount of ads during game play. Then they branched out to game development. On their website, it says you are “young and passionate”. For myself, who am not so young, doing logic puzzles is brain exercise that I enjoy. To stop my focus and concentration multiple times during game play to watch 30-45 second ads, it not logical. It makes the player have to refocus and refigure where they left off in order to continue the game. It’s like someone running a 100 yard dash stopping every 10 yards for 30-45 second rest. I will try to continue playing, until the frustration outweighs the enjoyment. This may be soon as I do not ever leave comments, I just delete. I hope ads during game play can be removed. I’m not opposed to ads before and after, just during the game. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Fun but excessive ads
I just downloaded today as I enjoy logic puzzles.
As others have noted the ads are excessive - I’m still low level but having 3 ads pop up as I am solving a relatively simple puzzle, in ADDITION to one at the end and beginning is just too much.
As others said sometimes (I’ve only played a few puzzles) you must guess and not use logic to determine the last two locations.
I have no objection to having ads at beginning and end of a puzzle nor to get a benefit (life, hint etc.)
An annoyance is I cannot use my attached keyboard but must use the on screen keyboard.
I will try again after a update but suspect this will be a delete. This is a shame because it could be a fun game.

Ads interrupt game play
Update: this game is unplayable with ads multiple times during a puzzle. That makes it such an unpleasant experience that I am, sadly, deleting the app.
The game would be great, but it is a game that takes concentration, and use of logic. My concentration and flow of logic get broken every time an advertisement breaks in. I had ads break my concentration 3 times during the second level. So frustrating. Then you have another ad to watch between levels.
Please just have ads between levels. Get rid of the ads during the game. I’ll probably delete the game after a couple of levels if all levels are interrupted so much.
One star is the least I could give. I gave a second star because the game seems fun and well done. The ads during a puzzle is frustrating enough to drop 3 stars.
I want to love this game
I downloaded this game after seeing just one ad because I was fascinated by the concept. The game play seems reasonable. Other reviews are correct that the ads in the middle of puzzles break your concentration and make the game substantially more difficult. The thing that crosses the line beyond minor annoyance are the puzzles themselves. If the puzzle requires exact text in the cells, that text should be furnished elsewhere in the puzzle. Do not assume I’m going to correctly guess a vegetable similar to a pea (size? Shape? Color?), an instrument similar to an oboe doesn’t even have a reed, or fill in a different poker hand than that indicated in the clue. This changes it from a logic game to a guessing name. One of which I enjoy and the other which I do not.
I will keep the game for a little while and watch for updates. Hopefully the puzzles can be improved and I can still love the game.
SO. MANY. ADS
I know game developers have to be paid somehow, and I’m willing to sit through the occasional ad while playing, but the ads in this game are RELENTLESS. Either cut back on the frequency of the ads, or offer an ad-free option.
Also, this is a logic game, meaning you should NEVER have to guess an answer — you should be able to deduce every answer from the clues. In the level I just played, there was a clue that said "Dill and Sorrel are somewhere in column E" and there were two cells open but there was no other clue about them anywhere on the board, so I had to guess and ended up losing a life because I guessed incorrectly. For someone who loves logic games, that’s just infuriating. And there were a couple other, similar issues in this level, which is unacceptable.
This could be a five-star game — I really enjoy playing it in between the constant bombardment of ads — but I can’t recommend it until these issues are fixed.
This game could be great if…
So many ads. The most ads I’ve ever seen in a game. And zero options to pay for an ad free version. I would happily give you my money to turn off the ads.
Other issues - if you accidentally misspelled something you lose a life.
The choices aren’t always given, you have to guess . Example they wanted ozone hole I put hole i lost a life . Or the question was in plural so I put an s at the end they wanted the answer with no s so I lost a life . Other times you hit a stalemate you answered and placed all the tiles correctly but there are no more box clues to help you fill in the boxes with out cheating and using a hint to open up a new box clue.
I feel like this game has the potential to be a really good game . But it’s really lacking being user friendly .
I like the game because it not too easy . But it’s also not too hard that you can’t solve the puzzles . Except for a few bugs in the levels. It feels like they set the levels up but never actually played them through and tested them out .
Fun game, nearly unplayable
The game itself is a very fun concept that I really enjoy playing, but the more I play, the more frustrating the details become. The ads are so frequent that you’ll often get one after only filling in one cell. They also tend to play for longer than ads on other apps. Ads should really only play after completion on puzzle games because they make you lose your focus when they interrupt in the middle.
The UI also needs serious work. It’s not adjusted for iPad so I have to scroll side to side/up & down for what should easily fit my screen. I also can’t dismiss the keyboard once I tap on a cell, so if I accidentally tap the screen, change my mind, or need to reassess, the keyboard takes up half the already small display until I figure out an answer.
The clues themselves could use some touch-ups, too. Some of them are worded in a way that’s very confusing. One clue said that “mayo, nachos, and bagel” are on two separate diagonals. Apparently that meant that mayo and nachos were on the same diagonal, and bagel was on a different one. On a game with limited mistakes, clear clues are really important. There’s also no description of the theme beyond the title, which can get confusing at times because some of the themes aren’t the most cohesive. A logic game lacking in logic is pretty bad.
I hope it gets updated with fixes. I really want to like this game.
Needs work
Really like the concept of this game. As a lover of logic puzzles, I like the uniqueness of this approach. However, there are some areas that really need work 1). The entire grid needs to be visible. This game should work in landscape mode. It looks as though it was largely designed for phone use, rather than adapting to an ipad. The constant scrolling about is highly annoying when there’s much more screen real estate available. 2) spelling errors should not result in loss of life. Logic errors, yes, spelling no. “ no such entry in puzzle” could suffice to solve this. 3) some of the clues are logically ambiguous. Recently, (level 13?), there was a clue that, to paraphrase, stated “bagel, nacho and mayo are on separate diagonals”. Does this mean from each other OR from the box with the clue? As it turned out, mayo and nacho were on the SAME diagonal. So, it must have meant from the clue square, but there was no way to ascertain that from the way the clue was written. Also, clues such as “all answers in column 3 end in ‘day’” are ambiguous. This clue doesn’t mean answers ending in “day” are ONLY found in column 3. This led to a leap of logic faith to complete the puzzle. It turned out to be accurate but again, the clue was logically incomplete. Wording is EVERYTHING in logic puzzle and modifiers such as “some”, “may”, “only” are often necessary. 4) allow us to mark boxes as complete or incomplete. 5) Cut down the ads or have an option to remove. As another reviewer mentioned, logic nerds don’t want ads in the middle of a puzzle. In addition, I’m seeing more and more ads as levels go on. Most don’t exit correctly and you have to mash the close button many times. It really messes up the game experience. 6) miscellaneous crashes 7). I just completed a level that involved guessing which word was wanted on about half of the clues. (Theatre or cinema) That is NOT LOGIC.
Put some attention into these things, get us out of Beta quality code and this will be a five-star game. Will delete if some things aren’t corrected.
Just okay
I enjoy the puzzle aspect of this game, but I have a few complaints:
Ads during gameplay
Can’t see all the blocks at once. Scrolling back and forth is troublesome
The return and backspace are too close together. I’m constantly hitting return instead of backspace, which automatically makes me lose a life.
The keyboard doesn’t always register the keys I press, which leads to spelling mistakes and then the backspace/return issue above.
Sometimes you have to guess on the puzzles because there are two locations possible. Or the clue has multiple answers. Losing a life because the clues are inadequate is really obnoxious.
I’d love to be able to mark off the clues I’ve already figured out so I don’t have to go back an re-read them.
I do like figuring out where each clue goes though, so I continue playing it. But if I can’t get through my current puzzle because of spelling issues, I might have to delete it.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
