Lifetime TV movie club

Today's date is 7/26/19, and I could not sigh in to my lifetime channel yesterday. I checked my roku account, and I am a valid member of lifetime movie club until 8/20/19. The nice people from roku.com tried to help me, but they couldn't resolve the problem. They said I would have to get in touch with lifetime.com. The only problem there is their number has been disconnected. I have been paying $3.99 a month to watch these movies, and all I have to do is go on youtube & pull up whatever lifetime movies I want to watch free! I'll just unsubscribe & save my $3.99 a month, if they want to be hateful & lowdown!

*****Lifetime.com owes me another month of movies, and they will not accept calls

Lifetime TV lifetime movie w/title anniversary nightmare

This is just the latest of many movies this year when the "background music" is so loud that it drowns out the audio of the actors. You cannot understand what they are saying. This is not the 1st complaint that has been posted regarding this. When are they going to fix this problem?

I, like the past person who complained, am ready to stop watching LMN Movies all together.

Please take some action with regard to this problem. If whoever is making these movies cannot correct the problem, then lmn Movie Network should stop showing them. This must be costing the network money that is not worth spending because it is losing customers who are struggling with this situation.

This movie was shown today 6/29/2019

Honestly, you should count yourself lucky that the score drowned out the preposterous dialogue in this ludicrous plot. This Lifetime absurdity makes ‘Plan 9 From Outer Space’ look like an Oscar winner by comparison.

Lifetime TV american princess

This show has horrible cussing, shows nudity, people having sex and should not be shown and a lifetime channel. This is a disgrace is the lifetime channels. This is no different than y'all taking off the show When the heart calls because the Actress is now facing fraud charges and jail time. The language is very unattractive. This needs to be saved for Showtime late night!

Lifetime TV lifetime movies

Please tell me why when I watch a lifetime movie & many other stations, why does the music have to drown out the audio part. The music is so loud it sounds like the people are mumbling. I'm ready to give up watching these movies or shows because of this.
I thought it was just me, but I spoke to many other people, and they said the same thing.
Can you please do something about this? It is very very annoying!
Thank you!

Regards,

Theresa DePonto

Lifetime TV repetition of movies

To whom it may concern, I have a complaint about how you are continuously repeating the same movies over and over. I love to sit, relax and watch your movies after a long day, but it would be refreshing to see a new movie every now and then. The movies that you make are great and seeing them twice is fine but I've noticed that you play them everyday, more than once a day.

Lifetime TV the amount of commercials

Signed into Lifetime App with my TV subscriber and I did nothing but watch commercials. One or two are fine but 5 almost every 5 minutes is way way way too many. I got to the point I didn't know what was going on in the show I was watching. I am deleting the app due to the irritating amount of Commercials. If I could give the app a negative 5 rating I would. I searched about the amount of commercials, and the search produced that many are also not happy with the app for the same reason.

Lifetime TV lifetime movies

The content of your movies is becoming more and more unbelievable with horrible writing and acting. I find myself asking if the actors in these movies can really be that stupid and clueless. Being someone who never reviews or complains about much, these movie plots are really ridiculous causing me to submit this complaint. Please, being a consumer, it would be nice to get more real-life situations or reactions from these storylines.

Lifetime TV elizabeth smart abduction movie 2019

I've been a Lifetime channel customer for 30 years and it upsets me that Elizabeth Smart picked a group of women ( all Caucasian) who had been abducted. Elizabeth Smart has been a spokeswoman for abducted women for at least 10 years and each movie she is behind or evolved in she never has any women of color . Abduction has happened to women of all colors . She's on too big of a petalstal to not think of all women . Im just tired that other women of color are never herd.

Lifetime TV the content

I am a long time fan of lifetime and LMN. Over the past 10 years I have humored and even joked about the content being about a sociopath woman and more than often I am right.
Whatever happened to the salt of earth stories about heroism and strength it seems now it's all replaced with a crazy woman goin around killing anyone that gets in her way, just check out the schedule. I am a woman and I try my best to support women in all I do. But it has become very difficult to watch when I already know the content is about a fictional sociopath. Is this how we as women will always be portrayed?
I know I cannot be the only with this thought. I just needed to get it out there. Thank you.

Lifetime TV surviving r. kelly

Someone HAS to speak up! I am so sick of hearing the media, movies, tv shows and live black women saying that nobody cared because they're black or that this happened to them because their black. I've got some news for you! You do NOT have exclusivity when it comes to being abused! I'm so [censored]ing sick of hearing that! I'm white, was raised in a family where my uncles sexually abused me from the time I was 5, was molested by a family "friend" when I was 12, raped when I was 16, and in a physically abusive relationship with my first childs father. I am a survivor! AND I"M NOT BLACK!

Lifetime TV lifetime christmas movies

Hands down very pleased with your Christmas movies .
I was so overjoyed to see so many movies with women of color. Also that you gave Hallmark some
Competition. I watched at least 2 movies everyday that you had the Christmas specials going. Please continue in 2019! Maybe next year will include Hispanics and Asian
Job well done Lifetime. Please start earlier

Lifetime TV lifetime movies

Hello,

I want to file a complaint. Every year my family and I watch the holiday lifetime movies because we like to enjoy the cozy feel of the Christmas movies during our vacations. However, I have realized over the years that the movies are very insulting to women. It always shows women as these crazy, intense, super uptight women and it paints us in a bad light. Additionally, it also shows women as useless people who don't know how to do anything related to mechanical work like knowing the first thing about fixing a car. As a mechanical engineer, I find this extremely insulting. Please make lifetime movies more modern because I have lost great interest in watching lifetime movies now because of this subtle sexism and because of this, my family and I didn't watch any lifetime movies this year.

Lifetime TV christmas music

Please turn the volume down on the music. I can't hear what the actors are saying over the music. Music isn't necessary at all, just like other movies. I'd like to be able to hear what's being said. That's a reason for watching the movie. It is very annoying to have music when people are talking . It would be rude in real life situations to turn on music over people's voices. Please do something about it

Lifetime TV lifetime movies

I have long been a fan of lifetime t, v. and especially the seasonal movies. Recently, have been so very pleased with the network's production of movies that have featured women of color during this 2018 Christmas season. It is so important for us viewers to feel like our lives, interests and backgrounds matter. That is why I'm so excited and gratified to see the diversity of the protagonists that Lifetime has used in these movies! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Lifetime TV casting

I love lifetime i've grown up watching lifetime movies and it's one of the few past times me and my mother enjoy its television for women i've seen countless movies its sunday tradition for me. I've been able to accept a collection of movies that equals only to handful of diversity movies in your library but I will not accept men in women roles. Its unfair and a misrepresentation of what the network was originally created for lifetime for women by women. Please don't do this its bad enough we are being erased in other places please leave lifetime alone.

Lifetime TV movies

I have noticed, over years of watching, some missteps. The one that drives me crazy is the times that babies are in the movie. One particular one I'm watching right now is a perfect example ... and it happens anytime a baby is involved in the cast. This movie, "The Nanny is Watching" starts out with the father holding what is obviously a newborn infant: tiny, wrapped in a blanket. In another scene the baby is held by the mother and fanther. She's shown now at about 5-6 months of age.
The next scene the baby being held appears, again, to be a newborn wrapped in a blanket but the cry is not of a newborn but of an older baby. It sounds very trite but thesemivies are watched, most likely, by women who know the difference between a newborn and a 6 mid old; the difference between the newborn cry and an older baby's cry.
Next scene: holding newborn. This goes on and on
My next complaint: I'll use something in this movie as an example but things like this happen so often in your movies which is why I often am teased about your movies. So many will say refer to certain movies with certain plot lines as a " Lifetime Movie". Here is what I mean. In this Nanny movie, a man enters the home and is assaulting the husband. The assault goes on for a long time. During the assault the wife never calls 911. We all know that in this day and age everyone has their cell phone either in them or close by. But this mother spends way too much time telling the older child to go into the " kid cave". Timing is usually so off. She surely had time to put her daughter in a safe place abd call 911. Instead she spends so much time talking to her child that the crazy nanny gets hold of her. It makes no sense which is why you lose so many viewers.
The husband gets cut with a knife and acts as if his entire abdomen was cut open. It's realky absurd that a man would act like that with his wife and children's lives in danger. I just wish you had better writers because I love the ideas; love many of your movies but the ones, like this one and others like this one just frustrate viewers like myself.
Next problem for the viewer in this movie: now parents are behind the laundry room door holding onto their infant . Well now its supposedly a newborn again. But it's not even a newborn doll ... the ones that look exactly like a real newborn ... but instead it's a piece of something in a blanket. It's really such a shame Ok you can't spend the money paying parents for the use of their baby in all these scenes. I get that. But at least get the real baby doll for those scenes. And use the appropriate age cry. The newborn... again... has the cry of an older child.
I know I might seem like a ridiculous fan with such silly complaints but if this helps you adjust these scenes and plots so they're more realistic you would make fans like myself happy and might even gain more viewers who wouldn't any longer have a reason to make fun of Lifetime movies.
Next absurdity, typical of some of your movies, the wife escapes thru the window, gets into a fight with the male intruder, knocks him out but STILL doesn't get to call 911. Doesn't make sense. The wife returns to the laundry room where the husband has now passed out because of a slice in his leg. Not believable. Maybe if writers had written in of a huge loss of blood, this would make sense but no blood is even shown. The nanny is now holding what appears to be a blanket with nothing in it; and it's being held where the baby's neck would be. Why doesn't the director of this movie see this? I'm just an average viewer. I'm not involved in writing or directing or producing a movie; so why do i see these very obvious mistakes but the people in charge don't see it? It's not money. How much would it cost to show a huge pool of blood around his leg which could cause him to faint from such a large blood loss. Am I Right? One more thing. Never tears. None as this nanny pours out her heart. Is it because you can't pay actresses who have the ability to shed tears?
I have to tell you that often I turn these movies off because of the type of things I'm mentioning. But then some are great. Done are able to grab me so I stick with them. But I finally felt I had to write you. I'm anxious to hear what you think about the criticisms I'm offering. I hope that, maybe they'll help you make improvements

Lifetime TV project runway host

I feel you should replace the host of project runway allstars. I've always watched this show, as have my friends and sisters. Alyssa Milano recently inserted herself in the Judge Kavanaugh hearing by sitting directly behind him in the hearing room. She was either texting or recording the proceedings and was approached by a security guard and told to stop. She is an activist. She should stick to her hosting duties and any acting jobs she can get. I never thought she was a good host of the show (very inferior to Heidi Klum), but she's who was there. Shows are about ratings. You'd be better off with a different host, someone who's not an activist and who is more talented. I will not be watching as long as she is on your show, nor will my friends and sisters. Your ratings will drop.

Lifetime TV programming

Lifetime,

I have been a Lifetime fan for many many years. However, that hasn't been the case for a long time now. Why? Because I'm tired of seeing Lily White faces and their stories featured. Why do you not have any black, brown, tan or beige actors with a starring featured story line? Oh yeah, we show up as the best friend, there to support the leading white character, or even a co-worker confidant, but not in a leading role with a story all our own.

Don't you think black, brown and beige people have complicated love lives, that may involve love triangles, murder for hire, dangerous liasons, devious and contentious stepparents or gold digging brides? Yeah, we do and I'd love to see a scripted show about that!

You need more diversity and inclusion...period. You do that, and I'll come back to your station. If not, I'll continue to scroll right on by and spread the word about how non POC (People of Color) friendly Lifetime is - which is obvious to anyone who watches you regularly.

I am a huge fan of Little Women LA. The second episode of season 8 introduced a new friend of Autumn's named Cole. I think Cole should get a lot more airtime if not a show of his own. A male little person who is also a queen, is in my opinion, ratings gold.
