The item order was placed on the 16th June.
It arrived 6 weeks later with broken parts, and the manufacturing was defective. I could not assemble the item.
The marble top was cracked, the glass pieces came broken, the backing boards were incorrectly manufactured (the screws don't align with the holes), and the lights were missing.
The replacement parts were sent another 8 weeks later, and once again they arrived defective and broken. The glasses were broken again, the boards were still defective and cannot be installed, and the marble and light replacement were not sent.
I cannot use the piece, because it is structurally unsound without the backing boards, and the glass shelves are unsteady because of the cracks.
I spent $1200 on it, and all they are offering is a 20% refund, for an item that I will have to throw out and cannot use. Their policy clearly states that they will issue refunds, but they are refusing. They also expect us to incur the $800 cost of shipping back the defective piece to them.
The item is barely even worth $100 at the moment.
Desired outcome: Full refund. If they want the item back they must pay of the return cost. If they are not willing to do that I expect a 90% refund minimum. I would still have lost $120 this way
