pre concert party/ticket packages
Just got back home to Alaska from Seattle and our trip down to see the Dixie Chicks at the White River Amphitheater. Seats were awesome, 7th row dead center, concert was Great! BUT, the Live Nation pre concert party we paid for was absolutely ridiculous, every last person was pissed off! Only 3 crappy beers available at the Bar while right across the walkway from the private area was a full concession with Cocktails, all kinds of beer, wine and other beverages but even if we walked over there they would not serve until the main gates opened. Then after 30 minutes they put food out...Braut Dogs and Mac and Cheese, the Dogs weren't bad but the Mac and Cheese was powdery! But the kicker was that there was no utensil's, that's right! Not a fork in sight! The whole thing was a sham from start to finish! Nothing special about it at all! If it wasn't for the great seats that we got with the package the whole night would have been a joke!
summer promo not honored
This company runs a promotion for the Pringles Summer Jam 4pack - They send out a link to order your tickets . You think you ordered with the promo code only to find out your were charged for 4 tickets instead of the buy 4 for the price of 3 promo. I called and was hung up on then called back and spoke to a man that told me "too bad" there is nothing they can do!
SERIOUSLY? You do business like this. WHAT A SCAM!
Never buying Pringles or tickets with Live Nation again. Truly explains the law suit against ticketmaster. They are all in business together
SHAMEFUL!
employee #1111
Live nation staff number 1111 was extremely rude and confrontational, to my boyfriend and i, at the cure concert at sleep train amphitheater on may 20th, 2016. We arrived extra early for the show in hopes for a meet and greet with the cure or robert smith from the cure. I have been a huge fan since 1985 and have attended 10 cure shows over the years and have seen them every time they have come to sd. They are my favorite band. I have also attended shows at this amphitheater when it was coors amp, cricket amp, and now the sleep train amp. I have never had a problem, until this show! I know the cure is known for meet and greets before the show, so my boyfriend and I went to the backstage gate to wait there in hopes of getting a poster signed. Staff number 1111 was extremely rude to us and called us #s right from the start. Now I have been waiting to see this concert since november of 2015. This was my day. Nothing bad could happen. I am all smiles from ear to ear... And then this guy! Every other staff member including his boss said he could be a "butthead" and I could tell they were using their terms lightly because they were at work. (But at least they were professional!) other staff members clearly do not enjoy being around "mr. Grumpy pants" as one girl called him! Anyway, this guy called us names, was rude about where we could stand, and was instigating trouble where there was none! There was an umbrella outside the gate and he told his boss he didn't even want me standing under the umbrella. (Umbrella was completely out of the way of anything too) first, he wanted it brought to his side of the gate and the mgr said no. When his manager was there he called us "flies"! He said he "didn't need us nagging him... Like flies." he was explaining to her about all his problems in life right now, which I couldn't hear any of it. He said he was going to call donna and have us removed. I don't know who she was but she sounded important and I was actually wanting her to come by, at this point. Anyway, the manager lady was very nice and polite and understanding. I never got her number but she told mr. Grumpy pants 1111 that we didn't need to be removed because we weren't causing any problems! We were actually the only 2 people waiting there, we weren't there to cause problems or attract any attention either, as we were just looking for a meet and greet. Mr 1111 continued on and on saying that we were doing things we were not doing, and it was absolutely ridiculous! I told him to have a nice day and to try smiling, and he proceeded to tell me not to "tell him how to do his job!" I then explained to him that I am in the same line of work, and he didn't have to be so rude to people! I work at ace parking and do the special events in san diego, for concerts at valley view casino center, the chargers games, and the padres games and concerts at petco. I know all about big crowds and I know safety rules and regulations for said crowds! I also know that if our team were to treat a customer like this we would be fired on the spot. I rarely put complaints in on people (It's been about a decade, if I remember correctly) but I have never been spoken to, by anyone ever like this in my life, by someone who was in a professional setting, that was supposed to be working! In fact, my boyfriend and I were talking amongst ourselves later that evening after the show, saying he could be a "postal" employee. He seemed that..."off". I understand everyone has bad days, but this guy seems like he is just miserable all the time, all around, and seemed to have no regard for his job or his self-respect! If no one else even likes being around him, why would you have someone working for you that is so unprofessional, and foul mouthed to paying customers and guests? The best part was when a limo car came through, and the driver showed credentials, and 1111 was giving them a hard time; someone had to get out of the back of the car and show his credentials and said "i'm the tour manager (Daryl bamonte) for the cure and I have a band member in the back of the car, and you need to let him in immediately!" daryl bamonte was letting roger odonnell in from the cure. We saw him exit the car inside the gate, from a safe and distant view. This letter is to inform you that not only do you have someone that will have no problem being rude to ordinary every day, guests and paying customers... But he will also be rude to your famous, privileged and vip guests as well. Very, very unprofessional and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Still, in shock over his totally outlandish behavior. Still, the cure can never put on a bad show! I enjoyed my evening, despite this miserable human being mr 1111.
t shirt order
I ordered two Bruce Soringsteen t shirts to have for a concert road trip. They indicated they would be shipped within a few days. No indication one of them was on back order. Only when I received one and not the other, did I call and hear for the first time that one was on back order and it could be four weeks. The customer service rep said there was nothing he could do, but say he was sorry and that if I wrote a complaint it would not receive a response. Wow. So disappointing
basscon tickets
I was having issues purchasing tickets for this venue. After 6 re attempts filling everything out it finally went through. Then when I got my confirmation email it was the wrong day ! I tried emailing for help and even though everything was completed to submit it did not let me send it. I have been calling for 2 hours and no answer. The worst customer service ever. Do not purchase from this company they are the worst !
tickets
My daughter had originally purchased two tickets to see Lana Del Rey on 02-09-2016. Live Nation decided to cancel the tickets for no reason. Meanwhile you have all these people on Craigslist selling the same tickets for 400 each or scalpers for 900 a ticket. I believe Live Nation is unfair and do not have good business practices. Live Nation should be sued. I strongly believe Live NATION should of called the customer and explained to him or her the situation prior to cancelling the event.
Unreliable, unprofessional, substandard service
I ordered a product from live nation merchandise on 9 december 2015. I received an initial 'order received' email and the money was deducted from my account. This was later refunded by my bank as the merchant had not claimed the $ within the appropriate time frame. After not hearing anything further for over a week I contacted them to enquire about the...

What a classless company with terrible customer service. I accidently purchased tickets for a concert for the wrong day(needed to go Saturday, clicked for Friday). I realized it right after it went through. I immediately called to tell them what happened, no answer of course, then tried to email, their email server down. I finally got through via email to tell them what happened. their Response was, sorry no way we can give you a refund. really? oh, ok, can you give me the name of the person I bought the tickets off of, to see if they can cancel the order? No, we cant do that either. Disgrace and Fraud. they claim its in their "terms of sale" which is page 66 article 10-b. Not one time during your 5 page process does it clearly state, there is absolutely no refunds. These tickets were bought for a little girl and here friend to go on Saturday Night, because her father was getting honored for his 25yrs of service of being a police officer on Friday night. Once again, great customer service.
half the concert cancelled
Before the J. Cole concert last the event staff instructed everybody that had a lawn ticket to come into the pavilion because it had started to rain. The forecast predicted rain all night so it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. When they decide to let thousand of drunk under aged kids run into the pavilion and sit in the seats that other people have already paid, for that were much more expensive, they now how the issue of how are you going to get these people back to their seats that they belong in. They concert was delayed for 3 hours because they didn't want to start until everyone was in their right seats. To get people in their seats they cleared out the entire pavilion and made people who had pavilion seats stand in the rain until the got it cleared out and started to let people back in. The first 2 opening acts got cancelled. The entire organization of this event was a disaster.
poor customer service
Purchased four tickets to a Concert through Groupon and one directly through Live Nation. Arrived at the concert venue and a storm rolled in. We were not allowed access to the venue. Gates were closed. We were told that as long as there was lightening in the area the gates would remain closed. We waited in the car for two hour and 21 minutes. Gates remained closed. The weather showed no signs of clearing,
Friends that made it in before the gate closed said that inside an annoucement was made that the first of three bands was cancelled and the second scheduled band would only play a short set and that refunds would be given because of this. Again, I was not nside so this message was relayed to me via txt messages ffrom friends. The rain was steadily coming down so we headed home. The next day I called both Groupon and Live Nation to request a refund for my tickets. Groupon quickly credited my credit card for the three tickets I had purchsed through them. Live Nation gave me a difficult time on the phone and said they would have to call me back.. Two weeks late they called me back and said they would not issue a refund they were on ly issuing tickets to another of there concerts. When I explained that that was not acceptable because they annouced the refund that night I was told that to gt the refund I shopuld have gone back to the closed gate and stand in the pouring rain and ligthening to get the refund that night. Ridiculous! Groupon offered and honored full refunds, Live Nation should do the same. I purchase many ickets to sporting events and concerts on a monthly basis. Live Nations customer service is welll below acceptable to me., the agent that called me back was rude and inconsiderate. I will no longetr purchase tickets from them, . There are far too many options for ticket purchases.
order
Do not order any products from this company. I placed an order on June 5, 2015 and the shipping indicated i would have my order within 12 days. I have emailed this company several times with only one reply. They refuse to give me a tracking number or give me a date of when i will receive my order. Terrible service. $14.95 for shipping and no product. Beware! This is my first complaint ever regarding products and/or customer service. Do not order anything from this company.
I ordered something on 6th June for my nephews birthday for delivery to Australia and when I paid $21 US / $28 AUD for "priority shipping", I expected that I would receive the item quite quickly. When I followed up two weeks later, I was told that it would take 28 business days from the date of order. What a complete load of crap! It did not indicate that it would take that long when I was placing the order because if it did, I wouldn't have bought it. Particularly when I end up paying 30% more because of the exchange rate.
It's now 19th July and I've received nothing. I've paid $100 AUD for nothing but a rubbish customer experience and a disappointed 10 year old nephew.
WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!
worthless vip tickets
I may never spend money on a concert again if it's through Live Nation.
I bought tickets for the B-52s at Irving Plaza the first day that I saw them come available. When I got to the "choice" of tickets, I was offered general admission, or general admission with VIP passes. It took me a bit to figure out, but the only information I found on the website about the VIP package said it included a meet-and-greet.
I've met Fred (crazy fun!) but I've never met Kate or Cindy, and I wanted to, so I spent $100 on each ticket (that I really didn't have to spend, but HEY, it's the B-52s right?)
My partner and I got to the show, they scanned our tickets, and sent us right in. Something didn't feel right, and I asked the guy who checked our IDs and gave us wrist bands after we were already inside... He sent us back to the front door to get our VIP passes. They didn't even look at my tickets when I said that we were supposed to have VIP passes, but gave them to us, and told us everything was after the show upstairs.
After the show, we went upstairs. They immediately informed us that we didn't have the RIGHT VIP pass for that party, and there was no meet-and-greet.
What had our extra expensive tickets bought us? The right to get around the line at the front door, plus the right to stand upstairs, further away from the crowd.
I was upset, and my partner went and got a manager to talk to. The manager sat there insinuating that I was lying about what the VIP tickets section said when I bought them. I would never spend that amount of money just to get around a line... And I could never imagine anyone in business implying that a customer is lying - even if they can tell that someone is trying to get over (which I most certainly wasn't!). You apologize, blame it on someone in your own organization, and you offer some thing to try and keep that customer's business! But that's not what went down. He swore that I wasn't telling the truth.
Live Nations can bite me. If someone big comes to town through them again, I'm sorry, but I just won't be seeing them.
unethical refund policy
I wanted to buy 5 tickets to the DMB concert at Jones Beach on 6/25/2013. Ticket master would only let me buy 4 maximum. So I bought 3 tickets in one order and 2 in another so my whole family could go. 6 days after I purchased the orders, Live Nation refunded me for the amount of 1 ticket and only mailed me 1 ticket for the order that had 2 tickets. I did not know this until I opened the envelope to only find 1 ticket and called Live Nation. They said there is a 4 ticket maximum per credit card, IP address, name. They refuse to refund me for the other ticket. I am not going to have 1 family member sit alone and one family member not attend. They say that I agreed to their purchase policy and they do not have to make the consumer aware of the refund. I find it extremely unethical that their system would even allow someone to purchase more than 4 tickets to begin with. They haven't heard the last of me!

horrible customer service
Absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I will never buy tickets from livenation agan. Most misleading webpages and ticket process I have ever bought tickets from. Refuses to refund. I would rather buy more expensive tickets from vivid seats ltd. Then to ever buy tickets from live nation. You don't take responsibility for anything you sell and do any steps to fix your misleading charges. Shame on you.

On Saturday, October 27th my partner and I attended the Madonna concert using the Ultimate VIP Package. We were deceived by false/improper advertising. Seating chart offered when we purchased the package which cost a total of $3, 000 was the usual seating chart for the New Orleans Arena & our tickets were guaranteed to be in the Front Row. We could not find out our seat assignments until the night of the concert. So we were very upset to see the stage configuration in which we were at the very far end of the “stage” which was actually more like a runway backed up to approximately the 50 yard line. The center opening in the stage was full of standing room only people who had a much better view of most of the show than us obstructing our view of the Stage. My partner is handicapped & we couldn't see anything.Very tall security guards continually stood in front of us as well as someone filming the show who hit me numerous times with his camera & completely blocked my view whenever Madonna or her dancers were anywhere near our seats. This is unacceptable for the price I was charged. Had I known where the seats were when I purchased these tickets, I would have never spent $3, 000 for this "VIP Experience". In fact, it turned into a Horror.I needed binoculars to see Madonna which I did not bring as I thought we had FRONT ROW SEATS. I know that our seats were changed & our tickets were actually issued 2 days before the concert on October 27th. I paid for them in February of 2012 on my credit card.To make matters even worse, my handicapped friend placed a pair of Mardi Gras beads on the stage, & she was pulled out of her seat by 2 men who were Madonna's security guards, & pushed outside of the arena. She was in the cold without a coat, an ID, her purse, her cane, & she had no money, or keys to her house or car. She has Doctor's orders stating she cannot stand for more than 10 minutes at a time & she recently had a double knee replacement. The VIP Nation guards did not follow the protocol for the New Orleans Arena. In fact, they ignored her pain & complaints. She was bruised from the way they manhandled her, they further hurt her knees, & she missed all but 15 minutes of the concert. She was seen by an orthopedist a week later due to complications. I was told she would return to her seat. I was worried sick about her the entire concert. I was ready to walk out but I had paid too much money for this experience and was going to stay to the end.I also had no idea where to begin to look for my friend. When this was over, I found her in the outdoor handicapped area standing in the cold next to the locked vehicle. This was the most disappointing concert experience I have ever had. I am very angry and upset and feel I was robbed of $3000.00. If this was a “Ultimate VIP Package”, there was no VIP involved.
On their website, this is the promise they make to fans:
OUR MISSION:
To provide you with the best possible interactive entertainment experience through guaranteed preferred seating, VIP treatment, and unprecedented access to your favorite artists.
To work tirelessly to make your experience as exciting and hassle-free as possible
So, how do you handle the customers who feel your “experience” did not meet the expectations you promise? I am sick with the fact I paid $3000.00 to basically sit in the back. I will never buy any tickets again without knowing the stage configuration and seat numbers. How could we be so far back when we paid $25 for a presale code & purchased tickets within seconds of them going on sale? How could at the end of the runway part of the stage be considered a front row seat when there were people actually standing in front of the stage?
We were mislead by false and incomplete advertising and should be compensated at the very least for the obstructed view (and by the hits from the large movie camera to my face and upper body)& for my friends removal from the concert. Also they did not file the arena protocol when they removed her so there was no actual record of what they did. We called everyone the next day including the New Orleans Police Department.Their document also states they are Better Business Bureau approved although my research shows VIP Nation has an “F” Better Business Bureau rating & is not approved.
Also included are the photos of the 2 men who hurt my female 55 year old handicapped friend & left her in the cold without any money, ID, Keys, phone etc. One is a photo of the bruise on her arm from being pulled out. The view of the stage from our front row seat is not accurate because we had a zoom lens on our camera. We were much further away thean depicted in the stage photo.

I purchased 2 Shawn Mendes tickets a month ago through kijiji/vipnations and paid in full through Royal Bank e-tranfer $450
Still no transfer of tickets and no reply from them. No one answers the phone and all voice mails full.
I am very upset as my 17 year old daughter and her friend paid for these and now they are out the money and are devastated that they can't see the show.
ticketing
On sept. 6, 2012, I bought three tickets to a sept. 8 concert at the oakdale theater. I bought them online, at a website run by live nation. (there is no other way to buy tickets online for the oakdale than to go through live nation.) I bought them in two separate orders. my daughter told me she wanted to take one friend, and then after the sale was complete, she said she wanted to take two friends, so I bought another ticket.
The tickets were $25 each, with a $10 per ticket service charge, and a $5 fast lane access pass per ticket. so each ticket was $40 total.
I was charged twice on my debit card, the first for the two tickets and the second for the additional ticket. the second charge is correct, $40. the first one is incorrect, $90. my emailed receipt from live nation proved I should have been charged $80.
This morning, as soon as I noticed the incorrect charge, I called live nation for a refund of $10. the customer service representative refused, so I requested to talk with her supervisor. he repeated what she said. they both said I ordered four fast lane passes with the first order. this is in direct contradiction to the receipt live nation sent me, which states that I bought two fast lane access passes, and it is also illogical. why buy four fast lane access passes when you've only got two tickets? the supervisor is named george, company id #zys706.
Live nation doesn't respect its own documentation (receipts).

they promised me floor seats and meet and greet with one direction for my kids, 1 hour before the event still no tickets so i had to drive down and hope someone was selling tickets on the street as it was sold out. now got worse sets, no meet and greet and lets not forget they havent refunded my $840.00 so now im royally ###ed and stuck 2 hours away from home cause they took everything i had. Ill do whatever it takes to bring this so called company down
VIP seats are a total rip-off and I will never buy them again. I saw Rush last night seated in so-called row 14 on the side of the stage courtesy of Live Nation VIP. They handed out badges with the tickets and I saw only badges in rows 12-15. Actually the seats were worse than advertised because there are rows A-E before rows 0-15. So really, we were about 20th row. On top of that, my buddy who bought tickets the same time as I bought mine (right when they went on sale) got better seats than me at almost 1/3 the price. To make matters even worse, the promised shirt package wasn't delivered prior to the show so I couldn't even wear my new shirt. Finally, you don't get the tickets until 90 minutes before the show and they are not transferable so if you are sick...too bad. VIP is a gimmick that advertises falsely. It should say row 16-20 guaranteed but then of course no-one will pay the ridiculous $325.
ticket sales rip-off!
Online, I opted for the VIP seating and parking and paid (what they led buyers to believe) an extra $10 per ticket for the VIP upgrade. So for $50 per ticket I thought I had a cool seat and VIP parking.
When we got there, FIRST they tried to charge us $20 to park in the VIP section, but my quick thinking and mouthpiece avoided a situation in the parking lot. (lol!)
When I gave them the tickets I bought online, they said it was NOT FOR THE EVENT. WTF?! At the top of the ticket, it said…”This IS your ticket”, then in very small print at the bottom, it said, “This is not your ticket.” and some other ### about it being for parking and seats in the front. WHY would anyone pay $50 JUST to park? And HOW in the HELL can I get a seat in the front if the ticket doesn’t get me INTO the event? Oh, I’m raising hell with Live Nation and I wish I could shut their whole operation down! Whatever you do, please pass this on….keep passing it on and DON’T BUT ANYTHING from Live Nation EVER!

quality
We attended the Brad Paisley concert last night at Darien. The sound quality was absolutely awful! During Scotty Mc Creery his mike kept cutting out, and screen cut out as well, but all things considered he did great. The Band Perry performance was mediocre, but Brad Paisley was really bad, everything was off! The sound quality totally sucked! It was our first and last Brad concert, his songs were unrecognizable. We left during his performance with an hour of his concert left to go, sad because we do love his music, but not at the cost of tickets for music that is of this poor quality!

It had been 3 weeks and I still had not received my items
I ordered 2 t-shirts, neither of them were on backorder, and the website said they were both available. It had been 3 weeks and I still had not received my items, so I emailed the company and they told me that one of the t-shirts was on backorder, and I would be receiving it in 1-4 weeks. Then I just received an email today that said my other t-shirt is sold out and I would not be receiving it.
Amazing information and this is really wonderful site.

I ordered through FanFire and received my invoice and links to claim my Kiss Army membership gifts. Faulty links did not work.
I then received a second confirmation order number via email and was able to complete my order. On making contact to find out if my order had gone through smoothly and also to ask why 2 numbers were provided, I received an email asking me to Fax my order and mark it 'Attention Customer Service" and 'someone' would attend to it. I was also asked to ensure that my credit card details & expiry date were clearly noted on the fax.
Why would I send that info via Fax for anyone at their customer service centre to pick up after I have already paid and they had taken the $ from my account! ... 1 month later, still no order received & no replies to emails... Dodgy scammers I feel
