Lume whole body tangerine deoderant a .05oz
I went onto eBay to get some Lume products I came across the tangerine flavor. I got on Lume website the lady parts cream a huge bottle I didn’t spend more than 20.00 for and loved it! So I was excited to try the tangerine deoderant cream, and it didn’t give a oz level to the bottle , but the bottle that was showing was a pretty good bottle, so I got it and paid almost 16.00 for it +shipping. I just got it today and the bottle I got was a .05oz bottle with 2 body wipes FOR 16.00+shipping? RIPOFF! I am very unsatisfied and I will let everybody I know, know my story!
Desired outcome: I would like a bottle I paid for. The bigger bottle that was advertised!!! I love Lume, but not my .05 oz bottle that says it’s for the WHOLE BODY I don’t think there’s enough in there for the WHOLE BODY!!!!
Commercial
Your commercials are disgusting and offensive, even to me as a woman. I try to change the channel as quickly as possible and alas there it is again 🤮 please just make a normal commercial. I would have probably even considered purchasing it except I don't want to think about you putting it on your UNDERBOOB or God knows anywhere else your body stinks because you don't bathe enough. So gross. Please just fix it, for everyone's sake. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Make a normal commercial.
I seriously hate this commercial because it is so vile, disgusting and offensive, that blond haired woman gets on my nerves too and looks like she smells! Take baths and showers and if you still stink, then it's a medical issue and you need to do a cleanse!
Lume deodorant gross TV ads
The most irritating commercial in the history of advertising. Incessant repetition of this horrid ad. Change the channel and there it is again. I suggest the best approach is to complain to corporate or to the owner herself.
If you are unhappy with these disgusting and irritating ads why not call or write the owner?

Lume commercial
This is the most offensive ad on TV. It’s enough to stop me from watching the shows but it keeps showing up everywhere. I will never buy the products and will campaign against it with everyone I know. I’m tired of switching channels or muted the sound. If the company is listening please change your strategy. It takes a lot to make me to file a complaint.
Desired outcome: Remove the advertisement or change the content.
My order ( I ordered two starter packs)
I placed an order on May 20, 2023. I have NOT received my order as of today, June 8, 2023 and I have sent multiple emails and tried to call corporate only to have NO response from anyone. I paid, they kept my money and, apparently, my order, because I do NOT have it. I can’t get an actual person on phone or email for anything. I’ve had enough. I want a full refund. This is bad business and fraud.
Desired outcome: Full refund
Lume deodorant commercials / ads
• Disgusting, tasteless Lume butt crack scam commercials are abhorrent.
• The ad is supposed to look like this faux doctor is making a personal selfie video. Yeah right.
• In reality there is an unresponsive corporate marketing dept behind this disgusting ad for this USELESS product.
• Lume ads are the very Definition of a Scam: a sales pitch with a suspicious medical claim that makes the offer seem more credible than it actually is to dupe people into spending money.
• Ban the Lume ads and commercials from being streamed anywhere.
Desired outcome: Take them down!
The ad is so gross. I don't understand a need to have a product, so you don't have to shower as often. YOU ARE STILL DIRTY even if you don't smell. that is WHY our stuff gets ripe. So, we know WHEN to clean it. Masking it with some weirdo unnatural chemicals is for lazy people who can't even shower every other day. LMAO. SOOO GROSSS The overconfident and over the top acting was gross too. UGH hate them.
I used lume body cream & deodorant I started itching under my arms now I am very red had to discontinue. I have the soft powder whole body deodorant & the lavender sage. Must be allergic to something in the contents..
I tried this product after watching their old TV ad. I had an unpleasant reaction to it. Then I saw this lady with the Lume ad. The product was not effective on me and now this ad is very unpleasant as well. If you are the inventor/owner why would you appear in the ad like the whole idea is homemade? It is presented in an unprofessional manner and uses unpleasant words (butt crack) on TV. Very irritating.
Burned my underarm skin off
Product smells really strong of chemicals and not what I want to ever smell like. The woman who claims to be an OBGYN pulls on the heartstrings of women who may be insecure of the way they smell if at all. Used the product back in Fall 2022 for about a little less then 2 months when I had to stop because the product was literally BURNING my underarm...

The commercial is disgusting. Who wants to see body parts of a clearly gross unkept woman every commercial break! It’s Absolutely terrible. I hope that the commercials are taken down. I mean showing feet, Armpits, Really? I hope this company goes out of business just because of this atrocious marketing strategy. Everyone I know feels the same way as I do.
Desired outcome: Commercial taken down.
That unkempt woman in the commercial kind of looks homeless, and crazy, and like she really stinks badly. I would not want to stand anywhere near her. Yuck!
I agree that this Dr. / Inventor is tacky and obnoxious. Especially sticking her big old foot up to the camera. Honestly if she washed like most people do, she wouldn't need something to last 72 hours?! Especially if you have odor issues. BATHE!
I'm not sure until I come from seeing my doctor. Medical expenses should be paid for now.
The advertisement say that you can use Lume on your butt crack. After using the cream lotion every now and then for almost two weeks. I was beginning to itch, and then I notice a bump that itch, the bump began to swell, at first I thought it was for an insect bite, and when my rectum swelled, I thought I had hemorrhoids, therefore, I discontinued the use of Lume, and used some bacteria ointment. After a week it was getting better except for the itch every now and then. I used the cream once again, and the next day all the symptoms came back worse than before. I'm in the process of making an appointment to see my dermatologist. Lume so far have not affected my armpits.
My skin never been sensitive to any other product before. I can use just about anything and it will be just fine. I've always, before Lume, used deodorant between my legs and butt crack and never had a reaction like this. My favorite deodorant is Dove, all fragrances, before I begin to use Lume. medical report as soon as I go for treatment.
I will upload my
Lume deodorant
The commercials are disgusting especially with the clearly unkept blonde explaining and demonstrating areas of the body to apply lume. The ad is revolting and I immediately change the channel not returning to the station.
The news ads are still disturbing as the face is too close to screen, It’s just too visceral and feral. I’ve specifically stopped watching MSNBC because of that ad or those ads.
Desired outcome: Stop the style of ads for Lume on MSNBC
The woman is horrid. Her first commercials had these women in an exercise class lifting their legs to intimate that their private parts smell. What a set back for women ! Shannon, or whatever her name is, is really disgusting.
Deodorant
It reeks. When I took the lid off the deodorant initially there was a light floral scent then there was something else. To me it smelled like putrescene, thats a chemical given off when something is rotting. I thought I had to be wrong so I asked my son to 'smell this' and handed him the stick. After he stopped looking at me like I was crazy he sniffed it and the same thing happened. There is an 'under scent' that is literally nauseating. It was expensive but it went straight into the trash. I'd rather smell like sweat than a dead, rotting rat.
Desired outcome: Just let people know before they waste their money on this product.
Lume commercial
The Lumi commercial with a girl applying Lume deodorant on her private parts and other parts of her body it’s disgusting for many reasons. First so we don’t wanna see that, Secondly the woman is too close to the camera. Since Covid and zooming peoples faces are far too close to the camera now has become part of the standard. It’s a little too feral it’s someone who is in gross need of a shower.
Desired outcome: Stop the commercials with the blonde girl applying deodorant to her parts
Rude TV Commercials
The Lume commercials are the most disgusting ones I’ve ever seen! I can’t get the remote quick enough to mute or change the channel. I’ve even watched movies or Netflix if I’m not in the mood to keep the remote in my hand! The way “the doctor” describes the body areas and how they smell literally makes me sick! I will never buy the product because of the commercials. Please help get rid of them!
Desired outcome: Get commercials banned!
I hate the Lume commercials...so annoying!
Lume tv commercials
I will never buy this product unless the commercials change/improve - they’re disgusting! Who thought it would be a good idea to list all the areas on the body that can smell bad and in such a crude way, in a deodorant commercial? I mute the sound on the tv every time one of the commercials air, which is waaaay too often. Please stop with this onslaught of repulsive advertising.
Desired outcome: Improve Lume commercials
I'm sure the doctor's stench from various body parts can drop flies at 15 yards; I don't want to hear about it, especially in such crude language. I can't mute or turn the channel fast enough when I hear that woman's insipid voice.
Convincing women that they stink is especially disgusting coming from an OB/GYN. Women suffer enough body shaming, they don't need this too!
Desired outcome: Stop airing those horrible Lume commercials!
I wouldn't buy them even if they changed the ads. I'd be embarrassed to buy it.
Disgusting and Offensive Commercials
This happens half a dozen times a day. Lume has the most disgusting and offensive commercials on TV right now. I mute the TV the second I see them come on. The woman doing the commercials is completely uncouth. She uses disgusting language and looks like she hasn't bathed in a month. I would never buy products from this company. I wouldn't even use the products if they were given to me for free. I loathe this company and their disgusting commercials and I hope they go bankrupt.
Desired outcome: For the love of God, fire the woman in the commercials. She is not doing you any favors.
I am 77 years old nd in all my years I was never told to put deodorant in the place this person is saying to put it - and - if you have people smelling those areas! - you've got a bigger problem than Lume can help!
It could be even more disgusting it it was Margorie Taylor Geene doing the commercials. (I hope Lume doesn't read this).
Lume television ads
Ladies, imaging yourselves in the most humiliating position in your life, feet up in this OB/Gyn's stirrups...instead of helping you, this person (I don't consider a doctor) is sniffing your crotch and taking notes. How utterly disgusting! These ads are on almost every channel I enjoy watching, and I change the channel every time these ads come on.
Desired outcome: Get these ads off television. Don't buy this product!
Lume
Why is this lady promoting her credentials as a doctor to be an expert about deodorant. I am a medical doctor and our training does not include expertise in deodorant. The commercial is offensive and disrespectful to anyone’s intelligence. Most people I am sure know the benefits of taking a shower and contradictions in covering up body odor with chemicals. Offensive and misinformation. Makes my stomach upset. Shame on you doctor deodorant.

Desired outcome: Remove commercial
Lume commercials
These commercials which I see continuously on msnbc.com are absolutely unbearable. They are offensive in the insinuation that "clean" isn't enough and we should all be paranoid about our odor(s). Plus, the language is crude and for some reason, the "ob gyn" (her claim) is sitting on the floor sticking her face in the camera like it's some unplanned conversation. I have to run to my keyboard to mute every time.
I wish this company would go bankrupt. I would never ever consider buying any of their products.
Desired outcome: Lume: change commercials or go under
I could not agree more!
I agree. The commercials are not only disgusting, but "in your face" literally. Like you, every time one comes on, I mute them and leave the room to avoid them. The blonde doing the commercials (in your face!), looks like she hasn't washed her hair in a month. The "details" of application sites are rude, offensive...I can't find enough words to describe how disgusting these ads are. I would NEVER buy products from this company. I guess "anything goes" these days in TV commercials, TV shows, etc. How sad that we've become so boorish and uncivilized.
Lume Deodorant
Amazing to see the amount of "affiliate spam" being sent from these failing companies
Lume is the latest on the list of garbage marketing teams doing everything in their power to eke out an existence.
And now the kicker - I seeded many email addresses into the world and use these to track campaigns of "bought liists"
Lume is guilty and no one should buy their products.
Desired outcome: Lume folds as a company or fires their marketing team
Lume Deodorant
I bought two of these products at the tune of 14.99 each at Target and will be returning it.
My issue is the stuff stinks really bad, and I stopped using it about 3 weeks ago and I can still smell the awful Peony Rose scent under my arms still after a shower it reduces only to come back a few hours later...
I did read some other comments and found this for you that had redness, itching burning and peeling, this is a main ingredient that is in this deodorant.
Mandelic acid may irritate a person’s skin. However, some research indicates that people tolerate mandelic acid wellTrusted Source in comparison with salicylic acid.
Signs of skin irritation include:
redness
itching
swelling
sensitivity or tenderness
this is also used as a skin peel ingredient.
Desired outcome: Informative

Mandelic is the ingredient that makes lume different. it's in other deoderants and you can buy it from the Ordinary Cosmetics for $7 . I put a few drops on each underarm good for almost 24hrs in summer. I also make my own deoderant (so easy) and add mandelic acid to it.
