I did so much research and decided to go with a 'very good condition, year old 16" MacBook pro, most specs available, for $2,400.1 month in, everything broke. Legit everything. What I thought was a busted screen turned into so many part replacements, including speakers, culminating with a new logic board. It had to be sent off by Apple because their technicians couldn't figure out the root. Two weeks and $2,000 of REPAIRS, it worked. Slow. But fine, what are my options at this point.6 months later turns out the System Integrity Protection - which had been 'custom disabled' (unbeknownst to me) has decided to render this now $4,400 TWO year old "refurbished" MacBook unusable.Mac of All Trades buys reviews more strategically than other scam resellers, should have gone with my gut and listened to the people harping on reddit. Unreal experience. DO NOT buy. Spend a little more upfront and save yourself.

I purchased an IPhone XR, I choose excellent condition
I purchased an IPhone XR, I choose excellent condition. What I received was iPhone XR completely scratched up, phone quality was poor with static on every call I paid $377.54 a total rip off. Called Macofalltrades they did offer a return label and less the money spent. This serves no purchase because any other phone would exceed the refund amount. I had no choice but to purchase a brand new iPhone through my carrier. I would NEVER purchase through this company again. 1. False advertising, 2. You don't get what you order after you place it they change it to send you something of lesser quality 3. The refund option does not benefit the consumer. If a consumer wants to purchase refurbished I recommend JustMac because you will get exactly what you order and the refund is of the same value. Maxofalltrades should be ashamed and not be in business! Stay aware from this company customer service is terrible!

No brainer place to sell my Apple stuff. Not only value wise but customer experience wise
I bought a MacBook Pro 2018 from them and had it shipped to me. I found their processing time left much to be desired and I was ultimately eagerly awaiting my laptop. Ultimately when it arrived, its box was damaged in transit. However, there was a chip in the screen. I got their "good" condition which i would imagine would refer to defects in cosmetics to the case and internal hardware components are deemed acceptable. However, I reached out to Mac of All Trades and they indicated they were not willing to fix the device to be acceptable. Instead, they wanted me to ship the device back to them and re-rorder. Ultimately, I declined the option because I didn't expect them to admit this would be a quality defect and already ported my data over from my original. I had in mind to pay for the $100 repair and would've accepted a discount to make it acceptable. Ultimately, I consider their time to ship times sub-par and their quality standards needs improvement. The laptop works well enough to be considered good from that standard, but I'm pretty dissatisfied with the professionalism regarding sending a device with a chip in the screen. This shouldnt be a consideration with refurbished retailers, but i guess it is. The recommend using Excellent to ensure there is no screen defect. Honestly, that's a ripoff, but you know, buyer beware of their standards. If you think you have certain standards, just choose excellent. They don't seem to follow industry norm standards for "good" or "very good" condition.
They are people of their word. They have a two-week quote window, on their offer. Once it is accepted, they send a mailing label to use with FedEx. Once an item is shipped, that is the fulfillment of the two-week window, so if anyone orders a shipping container from a business (the business does include FedEx payment), the time limit isn't a problem, even if holidays interfere with delivery
Have used several times. They are legit. Recommend entrusting them with your electronics.
This was my first time selling any of my electronic equipment, in this case it was a 2019 MBP 13
This was my first time selling any of my electronic equipment, in this case it was a 2019 MBP 13". I did some research online and Mac of All Trades kept turning up as the site with the best quotes. The quote I received certainly backed this up. Regardless of the glowing reviews on here I was quite apprehensive once I sent my MBP: would I ever hear back; would the actual payment be anywhere near as much as the quote? But my fears were unfounded. I was contacted almost immediately after they received my laptop, and less than 2 days later they advised me that per their review everything was as I represented - and that my payment would be sent via PayPal within 2 business days. Just one bit of advice, pack it yourself and use the label sent after you agree to the quoted offer. $20 for their box and packing material seems somewhat overpriced. This is a minor quibble however, and I would highly recommend Mac of All Trades.

I have sold 2 Macs to Mac of All Trades. Both experiences have been superb. They are excellent communicators. I highly recommend doing business with them. I know that next time I have a used Apple product to sell, I will most definitely be back.
very easy to sell my Apple products, pleased with the quote and stress free way to get rid of something that I no longer use. I would absolutely buy and sell with Mac of All Trades in a heartbeat again.
I ordered an older MacBook Pro from 2011 as I wanted a large screen MBP without the very expensive Apple price tag. The ordering process was quick and secure. The laptop arrived in very air tight bubble packing. The laptop is in impeccable condition for a machine that is 11 years old. The machine runs great. Very happy with my experience with this vendor.
I didn't feel like dealing with CL or FB marketplace so I decided to give macmeanoffer a try since I was familiar with their sales site. The entire process was quick and painless. The offer was good and payment arrived through Zelle the same day it was issued. Great experience.
I decided to sell my laptop which was current, until literally the next day an upgraded version of the new Air came out
I decided to sell my laptop which was current, until literally the next day an upgraded version of the new Air came out. I thought there was no way I'd get anything worth selling it for, the usual case with electronics. I went through almost all the sites for quotes and was shocked (in a good way) when Mac Me An Offer sent me the highest and fairest offer. I was so pleased that I also sold some other Apple products which again were quoted fairly. The customer service people are awesome. Everything was very professional and went as smoothly as possible. I was very nervous about shipping off my items, but I had their *** tracking code and was even alerted when it was signed for. Received my checks (I chose checks as the preferred payment options - there is another) quickly through *** So, I have no complaints whatsoever. I encourage those who are skeptical to try it. I will again, when the time comes. A million thumbs up.
I'm a very satisfied customer. I've bought several Macs and other Apple products from Mac of All Trades over roughly the past decade and every one of them arrived in excellent condition via reputable couriers and they all were exactly what I expected when I ordered them—I've never had an issue that required intervention. I've also sold a few items to them at a fair price. This week I'm getting another Mac I'd like to sell them ready for their quote.
Easy to sell my iPhone. *** was excellent and I will definitely use again!
I wanted to send a note of thanks. The mac arrived on time and it was BEAUTIFUL. Your very good condition is actually equal to the excellent condition of other sellers!Im so very pleased. I purchased this Mac to replace my beloved 2017 MacBook air that met her untimely passing by cup of coffee spillage. I didnt want to spend the money on a new mac when I had no plans of upgrading for a few years; and I really try my best to keep from unnecessarily adding to landfills when and where possible.Thank you so much for being awesome.
Great company and the quote they gave me for my ipad was spot on. No haggling and super fast payment! Would do business with them again!

I had a brand new 2020 Apple 7 s unlocked not one blemish on it I was quoted 125 dollars then I received prepaid shipping label I boxed it very good with bubble wrap in it's original with all accessories with it put in a larger box it could not move or bang around. I sent it out to them on10/22/30
Ups tracking number they received it 11/02 @ 11:28 AM delivered to Tampa Florida left at dock received by cov H.
I have yet received an email letting me know they got it nor have I received one penny for this excellent phone. Today is December the 1 st I feel that they don't want to pay or it takes a month to write a check out. I don't get it .is this how you conduct business. I understand covid 19 slowes things down but come on a month. You had your product in 11 days which I think is long snail mail if it took an envelope 11 days to get here that leaves 17 days to write a check. The can take care of this very fast time is valuable for everyone.

I had no issues other than when I was going to have them send me a box to ship my devices, they wanted to charge me $30 per box
I had no issues other than when I was going to have them send me a box to ship my devices, they wanted to charge me $30 per box. I decided to just take them to a Fed Ex store and have them package the items for me. Total charge from fed ex for 2 phone boxed was $16, and they were placed in a special box just for phones, so I knew the items would arrive in the same condition as when shipped. I took about 2/3 business days for Mac of all trades to receive them and they sent me a confirmation email when they did. No more than 2-3 days later I received another email started the items were in the condition I had stated during the quote and within two business days I should receive my funds via zell pay. So far pretty happy with my experience and would recommend (upon funds received) them to anyone looking to sell their old apple products. Will definitely do business with them again in the future! I would give 5 stars if they lowered the price of sending you a box to ship items in.

Let me start by saying thank you so much Mac of All Trade for doing business with me!
Let me start by saying thank you so much Mac of All Trade for doing business with me! Highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a refurbished Mac, or would like to sell their old Mac equipment. I was looking to sell my 27" iMAC and out of the many "sell my computer" websites I looked at Mac Me an Offer (estimator tool apart of the Mac of All Trade) gave me the highest quote. Once I accepted their offer, they were quick at arranging all of necessary details and even provide a shipment box for $30+$2.59 for shipping. They also provide shipping labels to ship the equipment for free of charge. Which If left to seller would normally cost a person $100+ to ship mac computer. Most of all, Mac of All Trades was true to their word, after Mac was received and testing was finished. After three business days they quickly posted payment. If you want... +Fast results +Fair offers +Easy to work with +Helpful at every step Mac Of All Trade would be a great choice. Thanks for reading my review.

I'm probably one of the most skeptical and hard to please people on earth
I'm probably one of the most skeptical and hard to please people on earth. I found an incredible deal on a used iMac desk top online from a company I had Never heard of called (Mac of all trades). I emailed them to ask them a few questions before I purchased and they got back to me within a couple of days. Then I took a shot I paid 75% less then I would have if I had purchased a brand new iMac desk top from Apple. When I received the delivery. It was meticulously wrapped in bubble wrap, in a perfect shipping box. I opened it up, plugged it in and started to use it. I feels like I spent 3k on it. It works like Brand New and I even had them add memory when I bought it, before they shipped it. I took the lowest price on shipping and it got here in about a week and a half. I have Never left a review online for any company before. But I had to do it for this company. I appreciate their honesty and integrity in their truthful product description, product Value and Their Customer service. In the world that we live in, It's rare to make purchase from a company as wonderful. The price and the VALUE was over the TOP. Extremely Satisfied. Thank you. Scot F.

I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews, but I shopped from this place after seeing the string of stellar ones here, so it felt worthwhile to share my experience (as well as taking a look at the stories on Yelp) to help others make more informed decisions.. I ordered an iMac desktop that from the get-go would not turn on. I wrote them about it, suggesting a pathway for an exchange and instead got a string of instructions that involved pressing keys on a keyboard (which would be useless on a shut off, keyboard-less iMac). I really should have pressed for a refund right then, but the computer eventually turned on so I decided to give them a pass. I had to leave on a trip, so my fourteen days return window came and went. When getting back, I reached out once more for troubleshooting since the unit again would not turn on and was told to unplug the unit for five seconds and plugging it back in. This turned out to be the only way the computer would turn on, a major flaw in my opinion on an item I just purchased that is supposed to be in good condition. I was offered to have it repaired, though shipping would still be on my bill. I give them two stars because at least customer service answered my tickets, but I do not recommend this company. The mac itself is incredibly slow and goes offline randomly though plugged into an ethernet cable. I'd recommend being very very weary of what you are getting from them and taking a look at yelp.

Well I am having difficulty writing this because in general I am not a complainer
Well I am having difficulty writing this because in general I am not a complainer. I am a professional person who believes in going to the source when I have a concern or dispute. However, in this case, maybe the 'straw has broken the camels back'.
In the late summer of 2020, after much research i decided to purchase a refurbished desktop Mac from Mac of All Trades. I bought refurbished because it was just going to be a "use it once in a while" computer and I felt that if it truly was refurbished it should last at least a couple of years or so. So, I purchased it and used it "very sparingly" for maybe a couple of months. Each time my wife would inform me that after a short time of use it would get very hot. I don't have any inner working knowledge of a computer so I just assumed that it would all have been checked out. Well it broke down. I do have a nephew who builds computers( didn't know this before I bought this one), and said he would have a look when he had the time. Sure enough he found serious workmanship issues in the computer which had disabled it to complete ruin. I sent a message to the company but they gave me the company line...send it back in 14 days.. yada, yada, yada. So I just want remind others BUYERS BEWARE!. At the end of the day they lost a lot of business as I have a very large family and am connected to hundreds of potential users. They will all hear of this company and it won't be in a very good light.

This company stole 350 dollars from me
This company stole 350 dollars from me.
Terrible, pathetic customer service.
Bought one Iphone for about 350$. After properly charging it and using it less than two hours per day, the battery was almost out by the early afternoon. Adding to that, the siri voice was faulty, sounding like an old record player.
I emailed their customer service, they gave me a pdf label and I shipped it back to them, they didn't tell me but they charged me shipping.
Assuming it was a rare mistake, I bought another one from them.
I was wrong: it came with a large noticeable scratch in the middle of the screen. Believe it or not I had payed extra for the "very good" condition, so as to avoid any trouble, but that didn't matter.
I emailed C. service again. They take about two days to reply. After that, they say they've looked at the picture and determined it is in very good condition. Very good condition my a$s. It's got a SCRATCH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN. HOW IS THAT VERY GOOD CONDITION
It doesn't end there. They told me I have to keep it.
After arguing back and forth about their *** return policy specification they told me they'll "accept it as an exception"
They did charge me for shipping again, pathetic.
To this day THEY. HAVE NOT RETURNED THE 350 $ FOR THE FIRST IPHONE.
They have basically stolen them from me and refuse to refund them.
This is not a serious company.
It is the worst refurbished electronics company I've ever dealt with.
Do not buy from them.

There are two items I must mention in this review
There are two items I must mention in this review. First, all of these "bait and switch" complaints. I challenge anyone to go to MacOfAllTrades, start the process to sell your Mac, and read the instructions and terms the company utilizes. Every. Single. Situation mentioned in the complaints is clearly covered in the Terms & Conditions. Everything. What happens if the Mac you send is less than the condition you claimed? That's in there. What happens if you fail to include factory-made accessories? That's in there. What happens if you change your mind or if they determine the Mac is non-functional? You know this one - it's in there. I find it unconscionable that people lie on a submittal sheet, become offended when they are called to task, then complain to the ComplaintsBoard.com. These are not the types of complaints that the ComplaintsBoard.com was founded to investigate. Second, and more importantly, I've been buying and selling Macs for 28 years. There are a few companies in the US that will purchase used Macs. The ONLY company that has consistently been above board, ethical, and highly communicative is Tampa's MacOfAllTrades. I would love to have seen complainers pull these things on some of the other places! Talk about actual questionable business dealings - try that place from the opposite side of the country. Good luck with that. MacOfAllTrades is a well-run, organized, ethical company, and I'm happy to do business with them. (I'm am not affiliated, related, or connected to this vendor).

I shipped my iMac to a reseller and haven't received payment after their confirmation.
On August 19, I shipped my 27 inch iMac to Mac of All Trade in a city from Enterprise after accepting their offer of $440. On August 24, they emailed confirming receipt and payment within two business days. It's September 12, and I've received nothing! Their estimate was 3 weeks for a 400-mile delivery, which is unreasonable. The post office confirmed no delays that would affect delivery times. They promised payment by August 26, excluding Labor Day, which is 12 business days. The distance is only a 5-hour drive. They have my iMac and agreed to the price, so why is there no payment?

Company offers good information about products and attractive prices
Company offers good information about products and attractive prices. However, the purchasing of a product can be extremely frustrating. The payment process for the company is engineered in such a way that if there is any problem, the consumer is responsible for figuring out what to do to correct an error.
Other online purchasing systems allow for intervention by support staff to solve a payment problem. In this case, the company has no contact with their payment contractor - all information is confidential and so the support staff cannot help a consumer to solve the problem.
I tried for 3 hours to purchase a refurbished MacBook Pro. Each time I filled out information to purchase the item, my credit card was rejected. I tried another credit card. Same result.
My credit rating is solid. I have never defaulted on a loan.
The support crew on the phone were unable to do anything for me, other than to advise I contact my bank, which I did. The bank explained that they did put a hold on my purchase because I had not used my card to purchase an item at such a large price (over $1000) in a long time.. They were willing to re authorize the purchase. About 30 minutes later, I again filled out the purchase form to pay for the product and my card was rejected once again.
Contacting the support staff again, who are very polite, I was told that I could try using another browser, and once again, I was told to contact my bank. Other than those suggestions, I had no assistance in solving my problem. After using another browser, and trying to use another credit card to pay for my purchase, my other card was rejected and I was left with no alternatives.
After another call with the support crew, who were always very polite, I was informed that there is nothing they can do on their end to assist me with my purchase. Their hands are tied, because they cannot communicate with the firm which authorizes credit card purchases. Staff suggested that sometimes PayPal can be used effectively. I am not a Pay Pal fan and prefer not to use that method. But at this point, I tried that option and the payment was processed. That's about 4 hours of wasted time trying to purchase a product.
Putting the burden on the consumer to correct an error regarding acceptance of payment is an egregious violation of consumer rights. If I had more time to research another refurbished computer vendor, I would have given up on this company and shopped elsewhere.
Solving the vexing problem of credit card fraud is definitely a challenge for online sales. However, the consumer should not be forced to correct an error in verifying their legitimate credit rating and ability to pay for a purchase.

Company refuses to return my laptop I sold my laptop to Mac Me an Offer (Mac of All Trades) based upon an agreed price. They received the laptop and told me the would pay less for it because of the condition. I disagreed with their assessment of the condition. I deem the laptop to be in good condition. I requested they return the laptop to me. Mac Me an Offer informed me they would only return the laptop if I paid their diagnostic fee and return shipping fee. I do not think it is fair to have to pay them to return my device after we disagreed on the condition of the laptop. They should return it to me for free. Forcing me to pay money to receive my merchandise back is horrible business practice. I never signed or indicated anything saying I would be responsible for paying for return shipping. They currently are still in possession of my laptop which is my property.

I purchased a refurbished 2017 macbook pro from Mac of All Trades in "Good Condition" on 2/27
I purchased a refurbished 2017 macbook pro from Mac of All Trades in "Good Condition" on 2/27. After receiving the computer I was not satisfied with the condition of the keyboard. There are multiple keys that stick when pressed and some keys double tap characters. After talking to support we discussed that my model offers a free service repair for a replacement keyboard and battery. However, when I took it to be serviced, I was denied, as the battery had been replaced before I purchased the model. This was never made clear to me. On their website, Good Condition is described as "Moderate wear based on the age of the product. Clear signs of usage. May include blemishes and or dent(s) on casing." There is nothing about replaced parts in this description. I paid $850 for a computer in worse condition than what I agreed to. Service without warranty is $550. To pay $1,400 for a 4 year old model is absurd. I request a replacement at no cost with a model that has all original parts

over the top SERVICE, everything Flawless. My sales representative was very kind and helpful, and even assisted me with the details of the order. As someone who is visually impaired, disabled, and 66 years old, I'm not super proficient with computers. The sales rep helped me select the best unit for my needs. The shipping was fast and the box arrived well packed. I have been involved in the mail order business for a long time and I can say they packed the items very well.
I waited until I plugged in the unit and my son helped me set it up. Everything works well. I have told my friends and also non-profits how Mac of all trades could be a benefit for the elderly like me, as well as for the blind, disabled, and youth. Its fair prices and good service exceed what I expected. They even have a clever method to pack the power cord so it does not scratch the screen. It's a well thought out business model.
I have considered offering the computers as a reseller or giving them to the disabled and blind at low cost. I would feel comfortable working with Mac of all trades. God bless and Merry Christmas - Thank YOU Folks at the Hollywood dream Factory.
This is my second time selling my apple stuff to this company. Very easy to deal with and answer questions. I will continue to go back and sell more when time comes. I have referred to my friends. Great Doing Business!
Great company. Competitive offers, simple process and quick responses. Plan to continue the relationship.
Terrible! I bought the extended warranty and they refused to fix my MacBook Pro!
