I have had an extremely frustrating experience with Manhattan Home Design. To put it simply, their customer service is virtually nonexistent. I purchased a chair from them back in March of this year and it is now December, yet I have had to repeatedly follow up with them on a monthly basis just to get any sort of status update.

Unfortunately, my efforts to communicate with their support team have been met with no response whatsoever. I have not received any emails or other forms of communication from Manhattan Home Design regarding my order. When I have reached out to inquire about the status of my chair, the responses I have received have been mixed, if not outright unhelpful.

Taken altogether, this entire experience has been a complete joke. I would strongly advise others not to use this company for anything at all. It's just not worth the headache and frustration that comes with their lack of support. All in all, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your home design needs.

To add insult to injury, they've also received a variety of conflicting emails from different members of the customer service team. It's not hard to understand why this reviewer is so angry. Unfortunately, that replacement had a new problem: the leather color didn't match. Frustrated, I decided to initiate a return. Unfortunately, this process was quite unpleasant.

An initial form provided guidance on how to return the chair, but it lacked any information on the costs involved. I reached out to Ben, the manager, and he did send me a free shipping label via Fedex. However, this still required either packing the chair myself or having Fedex do it for me. Unfortunately, after this point, my messages to Ben went unanswered.

Ultimately, I spent $35 having the chair properly packed. I was told I would be reimbursed for the chair itself. Overall, the experience of having to return the chair was an unpleasant one.

Despite having made my purchase in early October, I only recently received my coffee table on 10/22. I was already feeling uneasy about the delay, and to make matters worse, the box of legs had the wrong color written on it.

There are many other retailers out there who offer similar products for similar prices, and who also provide amazing customer service. We asked to cancel the order and be refunded, which they told us they could accommodate without any issue. Unfortunately, as of this review, we still have not received our refund.

We have reached out to them multiple times, but each time they promise to "mail the refund check within the coming days." It has now been several months since I requested the return and I'm still waiting.
