Words can not begin to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with Marble Law
Words can not begin to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with Marble Law. I needed some legal advise and to file some paperwork back on September 27th. I had to call back at a later time to schedule another meeting before filing paperwork due to the change in my circumstances. I have been cancelled on three times! Each time I sat around for an hour waiting for the attorney's phone call. Several hours later I'd get a call saying how sorry they were and schedule me out another appointment a whole week later. It is now November 8th and even the Senior Partner that was supposed to call me, never contacted me, not even to reschedule. I am no closer to solving my issue or getting the paperwork taken care of that I need. This was an absolutely a terrible experience during an already extremely difficult time in my life.
They take your money and leave you hanging but still continue to charge you
They take your money and leave you hanging but still continue to charge you. This should be a crime! Hired them in December and its August with no court paperwork filed. The main reason I acquired them was I was afraid my daughters mom would flee the ***. She has now taken my daughter and moved across the country and I don't know where they are. Changed case manager and attorneys behind my back without my knowledge of it. I will be hiring an attorney to retrieve my money back from this poor establishment. I wish I have gone elsewhere and paid money to a real law group, instead of these clowns. It's all LIES! Do not go here if you are looking for real people to help a real life situation that constitutes the needs of a ***. Nobody will *** or respond to my texts or emails. They just collect your money and leave you in the dust. -50 of 5 stars
If I could give this business no stars I would
If I could give this business no stars I would. I used this service to help file for a divorce instead I got an attorney that will not communicate with me at all and my case manager is a completely disappointment she only emails and never calls. I called marble to let them know my situation and was assured I would get a follow up and have not at all. I am very frustrated and feel like a complete idiot. It's hard enough to pay what I had to pay but not get treated as an actual client or get the representation I need is ridiculous. I would have been better of taken my changes filing for my divorce myself or using an attorney other then the unprofessionalism that I have been giving. I feel that they offer a service that they cannot commit to and use attorneys that just want a quick buck. They know people cannot afford these ridiculous retainer fees in which mines was 6k with payments of 180 a month. After filing a petition and saying they have completed there services is not 6k worth. They are only after your money and do not care about anything else or you as a client.

Our simple custody case was dragged out
Our simple custody case was dragged out. Shuffled between 3 different lawyers, 4 or 5 "Handlers" and cost me over *** Dollars. The day of the final mediation came we had a representative from the lawyers office whom we have never talk to. We got hit with bad representation and paid double for it. By the time we got to settling none of our Lawyers, Handlers, new our needs, our past 3 years of shared custody. Or even try to get This DAD a fair and Relevent settlement in his Custody case. You will be paying for years with MARBLE FOR A "STANDARD" Custody without any consideration. No one challenged the mothers Lies. No one discussed the unwarranted 6weeks he was not able to see his daughter. Now we finally get to the school where they thought the moms boyfriend was her dad. Now she dumped the "fianc", the structured home. The baby is being dropped off at a different houses each day she works. These lawyers charge you to listen. To everything you say but do nothing to support your child's real future. Put a stop to this "Standard" cookie cutter CUSTODY. THIS IS FOR THE *** OF YOUR CHILD.

this is not a good law firm to uses, I file for a divorce with this company they referred me to financial company so that I could get help
this is not a good law firm to uses, I file for a divorce with this company they referred me to financial company so that I could get help paying for the the divorce, well I reconcile and dismiss the case within 7 day after they email me the petition for me to sign in order to proceed with the divorce, no other work was done but they are still trying to charge me for full service that was not completed. I talk to the manager and she she that 90% of the work had being done so I ask how can that be when no paper work was file with the court plus no paper was service because I didn't sign the petition, but she said just doing the petition and emailing it to me was 90% of the work and the she could only give me 25% of my money back the cost was $2450 but she is still only giving me 25% back with mean I will still pay this loan back about $1800 remind you that I when through this financial company that they referred me to. please stay away from this company, I could have when online and did my divorce petition cheaper. it is no way these people should be charging me $1800 just for a petition that I have not sign and they didn't complete the service.
Fair warning: do not let the payment plan option appeal to you!
Fair warning: do not let the payment plan option appeal to you! Please do your research and find a local attorney! This company is quite expensive for your services; uses deceitful tactics to manipulate you into paying for services you dont need! If you do choose to use Marble Law please make sure both parties are in agreeable and its just a simple filing of paperwork. If youre looking to fight any legal battle this firm will cost more anxiety, stress and financial burdens than anything! When choosing a company please skip over this one! You will meet with an attorney that gives you legal advice (it will not be your attorney) then matched with a local attorney that drafts the paperwork but honestly they are not working for you only the services provided! This is not an inexpensive option! They asked me how much money I made per year and I honestly think thats how their prices are based. They are definitely preying on vulnerable clients who are not familiar with the law! Again my recommendation is to please stay away it is terrible customer service! I would not recommend to anyone. Just do your due diligence and find a lawyer in your area and just make the sacrifice of paying a retainer or per hour to have someone in your corner to help you with whatever your legal battle is but marble law is definitely not the company to trust your legal matters with. If you do not agree to the add on services they will end your legal representation and leave you alone to fiend for yourself. Its totally NOT worth it!
I transitioned from my previous lawyer to Marble Law in Sep 2022, assured of great service.
I transitioned from my previous full representation lawyer last week of Sep 2022 to Marble Law and was assured great service by their team. I made a full payment upfront and from that moment on, they neglected my case. It was limited scope representation for the discovery stage and during the initial paid consult, they said the lawyer represents the client. However, I learned that the lawyer only prepares papers but does not officially represent. Their responsiveness to my inquiries was lacking. I've had to persistently follow up with the lawyer, case manager, and paralegal, but I only reached each once. Whenever I called their direct numbers, someone else answered, unable to advise on the case, and my messages seemed to be ignored. I am now late for turning in my discoveries due Oct 10, 2022, as the Marble legal team is unreachable and non-responsive to phone, email, or texts, even after the deadline. The attorney indicated that the $5000 contract only covered preparing discoveries, not completing the exchange, and wouldn't list her name on the documents she prepared for me. The managing attorney was also unreachable. During his paid consult, he said he would intervene if the work was delayed or unsatisfactory. I have been charged $5025 for services not rendered. The company has not lived up to its promises...buyer beware!
I was very hesitant on writing this review because I've seen people state that they were dropped as clients
I was very hesitant on writing this review because I've seen people state that they were dropped as clients. I can't afford that. I reached out to marble law in September for a custody case. At that point I had already filed the motion and just needing someone to rep me and make sure i did the right thing. Upon reaching out I went through the proper steps to explain my case. At that point I was contacted and charged $49 for a "consultation" at this point I believed the consultation was recorded and me deciding to go with them, all the information I have them would be sent to my attorney. A Few days later I was contacted numerous times to make my payment to get started I mean over and over through text email and phone call. I honestly just needed some time to get my thoughts together and being on the low income side of things how I was going to be able to even afford the services. All I knew was I wanted my daughter back. I finally made contact and they wanted $244 dollars. I told her I did not have it at the moment she said well what could you pay to get us started on your case. I said half and she took a payment of $122. At that point I was assigned an attorney who did call four days later and a case manager that reached out via email. ok here's where it got crazy. After I made the payment I heard absolutely nothing from anyone I began to reach out to see if there was any update on the case and radio silence for at least two weeks finally I talked to my case manager she said the lawyer would get in contact with me. The lawyer called 5 days later asking me the same information I gave him the first conversation we had and said he was going to get the other party served. We are at least a month in from making my first payment. At that point I'm like ok things are moving along. Not at all I recently logged on to see the actual case through the county he has not been served and also no lawyer has put in that they are representing me.
Mystory is so similar to most of the reviews i read today
Mystory is so similar to most of the reviews i read today. I found Marble Law on line and with a tight budget i gave them a call. I paid the $49 to consult with an attorney. I was told it was a 30 minute consultation. I did get a call and the lawyer that called me back stated he was not my lawyer and could not advise me of legal issues? call was 4min. This is an exact quote. He stated he would represent me and he was not employed by Marble. He said hire me and ill fight for you. So i agreed and Marble called me back and made a high offer to help. $5200 ( This should have been my red flag ) I aggreged to $4200 I was desperate and now see Marble prays on this fact. I needed help asap and i had no one. I proceed to get the loan and was looking at the representation information. Its stated they will only do paperwork in my case? That was not what the lawyer told me so i proceed with accepting the loan. That was 7 days from today that I'm writing this review. I proceeded to provide all information requested and i emailed the lawyer and asked him last Monday that he was going to reparent me in court like he assured me on the phone. No response. I asked again with no response. Today I texted him and told him i need an answer on that question and a few others that i emailed him. He stated he did not get any emails but the 1st one on the 28 of July. There is 4 more emails in the same email chain? That is not how email work. So now I'm completely feeling like i got scammed. I ask him about representation throughtext messagetoday he then stated he would be glad to represent me but i would have to pay more money and that i need to contact Marble and work out new fees. I immediately fired the lawyer and contact Marble and told them i was not going to use there service and the loan that was made needed to be canceled immediately. They refused and stated that 75% of the work was done already. I have a text from lawyer today stating he will get to it Hopefully tomorrow? SCAM! SCAM!
I Hired Marble to help me with my Divorce on May 26th 2022
I Hired Marble to help me with my Divorce on May 26th 2022. I paid for a Consultation which went well however to my surprise I was told by *** that he wouldn't be my Attorney to represent me! I then was directed to speak w/the *** to set everything *** in what I needed. Both *** explained that everything was al la cart and they only charged you for what I needed. I told *** that I Needed to speak with the Attorney that would be actually representing me before I committed to using there firm to make sure we were a good fit and he could adequately do the job, bcu I had already hired an attorney that had not worked prior to calling Marble. *** told me he would have my Attorney call me at 1 pm the following day to discuss my case. But no one called me on Friday the following day. After I waited and didn't get a call. So I called *** and he told me that He didn't have an Attorney for me after all! And I would have to wait for someone to pick my case to Represent me an then they would call me. Over the course of the next few days there were Text messages from a *** who asked me to sign the Contract and Release more money to Marble. I told them , not Until I have spoken to the Attroney that will Represent me! On May 30th *** claimed He did have attorney, but I again said no More $ until I have spoken to the Attroney. After a week I still hadn't heard from anyone but I did see they had Charged my Acct. $200.00! I called and left a message asking for my money back an told *** at Marble Law I no longer wished to use there services Bcu they promised an Att. to me within 3 days an it was now day 7! They cont. to play games and ignore my Calls and texts. So I had to call my Bank and Report them for Charging me when *** Services were Rendered! My Bank Investigated and Agreed with me that They owed me back my $ which the Bank Replaced. Yesterday I saw a Charge to my Acct. for $97.27 once again from Marble Law! They R Sacmmer

Divorce
I am beyond frustrated with the whole Marble team I am disappointed that I even choice this law team when I could have saved my money. I spent 2000 on a divorce and everything was going well unfortunately the divorce paperwork was return because they were filled incorrectly, I have been struggling to find help from them for over two months now. My case was assigned a judge and everything and still haven't had further direction on how to put in an amend document. I need Help ASAP which no one seems to want to help at this point I need this divorce to be finalized and the law team will never be used again.
Desired outcome: I need them to get off their [censored] and help me submit an amend document and I need a refund for the inconvenience this is absurd there's no way I need to wait over two months after my case was assigned a judge and trial already happened.

Attaching my wife’s demand letter to Marble:
On March 2023, Marble Law and I entered into an Immigration Marble Agreement (“Agreement”) where Marble obliged itself to prepare and successfully file my visa adjustment with the USCIS and it failed to do so.
Because of Marble’s negligence, my visa adjustment was untimely filed which was contrary to what was agreed upon.
During the paid initial consultation, we were advised to make haste with the filing so that we can file for visa adjustment before the lapse of my authorized stay which is until April 30, 2023. Due to Marble’s representation, my husband and I immediately signed up and paid the legal fees in full.
Thereafter, Marble obliged us to sign up on ClientBridge where we can fill-out the government forms and upload any supporting documents. We completed the forms within the same week we received it. However, Marble took 3 1/2 weeks to respond.
After constant follow ups considering April 30 is about a few days away. Marble finally responded and sent me an email saying my visa adjustment was filed with the USCIS on April 22, 2023.
Two weeks after the above mentioned date, I received a rejection notice from USCIS saying the fees in my credit card authorization form is incorrect. I communicated the rejection with my attorney and was informed that there was an “increase in fees” even though there was none. What really happened was, he failed to include the biometrics fee in his computation.
I didn’t get mad and politely asked him to refile and resubmit the soonest which he ignored. After several calls to Marble and a week after, my attorney sent me the tracking number of the resubmission.
Without having any idea of the resubmission sent by my attorney, we received a letter of rejection again (two weeks after) with the same reason.
After the second rejection, I informed Marble that I would like to cancel my engagement and get a refund considering the sub par performance of Marble and its negligence in handling my case.
Despite being aware of the same, Marble failed to do anything and really allowed me to file the Petition myself.
After doing research, I found out that I can file my husband’s petition online—easily. Without using any of the forms previously filed and using the same credit card on file (with Marble) we were able to successfully file my husband’s Petition. My green card application however was filed via regular mail (concurrently).
After I filed my visa adjustment myself, Marble offered me a 20% discount which I declined for it is not fair to be charged for something that we did not receive (which is competent legal service). Marble’s failure to successfully file my case (twice) with USCIS constitutes breach of the Agreement.
Marble did not really assist in the preparation of the forms for we filled it out ourselves. The only thing Marble filled out is the amount in the G-1450 (credit card authorization) and it did so, incorrectly—TWICE.
Considering we essentially prepared and filled out the forms. No intellectual property exists.
If anything, the only fee that Marble should be allowed to collect is a consultation fee for providing the proper forms to be filed out and nothing more.
I have written Marble several emails regarding the matter and up to date, Marble has yet to respond and resolve it.
Desired outcome: Refund
Marble contacted me today and offered a fair resolution for both parties to which I accepted. Consider this complaint resolved.
Marble Law Divorce Lawyer/Not being a trustworthy company
I saw Mabel Law online and saw it had a good rating with the BBB. I talked to a representative of Marble Law and to start the process I had to pay $49 on June 23, 2023. I am going through a divorce and I need some representation. I did some more research on Marble Law and come to the conclusion that this is more of a scam. I just want my $49 refunded.
Desired outcome: I want my $49 refunded to my bank account.
The lawyer disengaged and has held me up another 2 months
marble on April 24th. And was promised that I’d have an emergency custody order in place within a week after speaking to the lawyer he aggressively and promised me so meant things and said it would be the first week after school let out then it was gonna be another week then he sent me a letter of disengagement stating he never agreed to take the case now it’s set me back even longer keeping my daughter in an unsafe environment.
Desired outcome: I want my daughter
I hired marble law on march 18th and paid $617 and agreed to a payment plan so they would represent me in a change of custody case against my ex
I hired marble law on march 18th and paid $617 and agreed to a payment plan so they would represent me in a change of custody case against my ex wife. They explained that they would be in contact with me every step of the way and that they would call me at the end of my child support hearing so we can come up with a plan of action. That was 2 weeks from I initially hired them and i had heard nothing. I called them and they said they would call me by that weeks end. Again nothing happened. Another week went by and a payment of $213 came out of my account. I again tried to reach someone and was called twice by a gentlemen asking if someone contacted me and i said no. I THEN asked for a refund. I was contacted a week later and it was a woman saying she represented my lawyer and that they were sorry. I said its ok lets try again i really need this done its time sensitive. She said no problem and said a week from that day i would get a call to verify documents. THAT CALL NEVER CAME I WAITED 3 WEEKS from that day and I CALLED her after ANOTHER payment of $213 came out of my account. I said so what happened its been 3 weeks she said, "WE JUST talked about you this morning I am so sorry but the lawyer will call you buy end of today or tomorrow". Its been 3 days and she's ignored every single phone call then had the nerve to EMAIL me and say am i free thursday to meet with the lawyer. NO, i want my money back and i want an official complaint lodged against them. I have NEVER been treated like this by any business in my life especially after ive given them not 1 but 2 CHANCES. Please Complaintsboard.com Help me. -I would like not only a refund but to lodge a formal complaint. I dont know how anyone in this day and age can get away with conducting business like this. NO ONE should have to deal with these horrible people.

I reached out to Marble Law on 09/16/22 for a contempt of court case. The Marble team set me up with a payment plan for the amount of $3000. I spoke to an attorney on 09/21 regarding my case. I collected all of the documentation the attorney asked for within the week and have not received a follow up or status update since then. I have paid the payments as agreed upon, however I have not received the services agreed upon. I have reached out several times to the marble help center, my case manager and attorney with no response or update. At this point, I would just like my money back so I can hire someone local. My case is time sensitive which I stated when Marble agreed to take my case. Time is of the essence and I just want this handled.
I came to Marble Law firm with my fianc for representation custody case. I paid them $5,600 as a benefactor for representation. When the hearing came, the attorney Marble referred our case to said he couldn't provide representation because there wasn't enough prep time. My fianc ended up representing himself in court, no help or assistance from the attorney we though was going to help us. No services were rendered and I am unable to reach anyone at Marble to respond to my calls, or emails. They need to be forced to process a refund for the money I paid them because they did absolutely nothing to help us.
I have filed a complaint about this company before, but i am still having the same issue only now it is a lot worse
I have filed a complaint about this company before, but i am still having the same issue only now it is a lot worse. To start Analeigh lied in her previous response that they had submitted two choices to resolve, she did not send me any resolution options until i told her she lied on Complaintsboard.com. Her resolution was a gift card, not the refund that i was requesting. My original issue is that the opposing party in my divorce case was never served. I was contracted with attorney *** (terrible) in December and a year later he still has not been served. i first contact in march, then september then on july 6th. I was sent an affadavit that stated that they tried to serve him and was unsuccessful. They had the wrong person. The address that they listed is a fake address its a building across from the Brexar county courthouse. The server is no where in the *** system, proving that he doesnt exist. This is a huge legal violation. I showed my attorney this was called by a managing attorney ***. *** sent me a settlemnt offer that was basically a gag order. i declined the settlement. *** sent me a disenage letter when i called customer service to get the full details as the email was vague the rep said that she wasnt allowed to speak me and said her manager told her to hang up on me. I have filed a small claims case and am now typing a Grievance with the office of chief disciplanary counsel for both *** and ***. I have yet to recieve my money back and beg anyone to read all of these bad reviews. Marble Law is a scam do not do business with them you will be lied to, they will file fake documents and you will not get your money back. I have attached Affidavit with the fake psc # for ayone to lookup and see this address and person do not exist

On July 22, 2022, I paid Marble Law $4,800.00 for defense of a contested divorce. This money was obtained through a finance company they suggested so that I could make monthly payments. They advised I would receive a call from an attorney. I only ever spoke to an attorney 1 time (which was an attorney 2+ hours away from the county filing). I forwarded to him everything I was served with, to include the Complaint and discovery requests. The attorney ultimately filed a Limited Scope Entry of Appearance and filed an Answer and Counterclaim to the Divorce but failed to advise on the procedure of the discovery requests. I later learned that those items were time sensitive and the opposing attorney filed a Motion to Compel against me which was served upon that attorney and he NEVER advised me of that situation. I have made more than several attempts to get someone at Marble to assist me with understanding how this happens. This ultimately led me to have to retain local counsel to correct all the problems that were taking place. I have communicated in writing that I wish to terminate their services and demanded a full accounting of my retainer paid. I have yet to receive even a response from the individuals I was instructed to deal with at Marble. This company is a scam in my opinion and from the many reviews I have read with the same problems.
I hired Marble Law to give legal advice on a child support case. After sending off documents to my ex to begin the process, my Lawyer became unresponsive. I attempted multiple times to get my lawyer on the phone due to the situations changing, and me needing guidance on the best legal move I could make. However, my lawyer failed to respond to any of the appointments that he himself set up. On one occasion, I was set for a 15 minute conference with my legal team to discuss what I should do, for October 15th, 12pm. After 12:30pm, with no call and no show, I checked the digital calendar that my lawyer uses for scheduling, and the time had been changed to 4pm without any prior communication. Frustrated, I waited until 4pm, but again there was no call or appearance.
Unexpectedly, my lawyer called me on Sunday without prior notice, and did not pick up when I returned the call shortly after. I then contacted the main office support line to set up another call, to no avail. I have now emailed, used their online portal, and exhausted every communication method possible. All I want to do at this point is cancel and hire a competent lawyer who responds and attends their own meetings. I need answers, and I've been paying for them. I feel robbed and scammed. I'm already in a tight spot, and now my time and money are being disrespected while I'm already down on my luck.
My lawyer offered every excuse possible, even going so far as to accuse me of being unreachable because the caller ID didn't match my name. Meanwhile, every previous conversation before we sent off paperwork, using the same number and device, didn't have that issue. This is clearly a direct lie.
We selected this law firm to assist in going through some adoption paperwork that my wife has completed to ensure it was correct. In the beginning, they were very easy to discuss our needs and set us up with a service that fit our needs (we selected 5 hours of attorney consultation). At the point that the finance department took our payment in full, it went downhill. We were assigned a case manager right away. We received a bunch of welcome emails as well as instructions to log into their portal. From the outset, we had trouble. Could not log into the portal initially (which did get rectified eventually), struggled to get responses from the case manager, and have yet to speak with our assigned attorney. We had one appointment with that attorney set up through their paralegal. The appointment date time came and went without a call. Called the paralegal and were told that the attorney called us to cancel the appointment in the morning. We had no voicemail from the attorney. The only voicemail we had was one that was about a minute of silence from an unknown number. After that, we have yet to hear back from our case manager. All she does is forward our messages to the assigned attorney to reach out to us. It's been a month now and we have gotten nothing from this firm. We spent over $1500 for 5 hours of consulting and have gotten nothing but us chasing them for answers at this point. We tried to reach our case manager by the portal and found it no longer recognizes my phone number. Called the case manager's "direct line" (as listed in her email signature) only to find out it's the main line for Marble. Spoke to a person that answered and she advised us that we had to speak to our case manager. She tried to connect us, but to no avail. We were advised she would call us back.
My case is related to family law/child custody. We have a trial and a pre-trial that is coming up at the end of this week. I finally heard back from the attorney who was assigned to me, last Friday (today is Tuesday). He thought less than a week was ample time to prepare for a pre-trial and a trial. I have no words. My family case is complex, we needed an expert witness, material evidence, along with other witnesses. All of this was laid out when engaging with Marble. All of this was specifically relayed to the attorney. In early October, the attorney gave me homework and requests which I completed within a day. I never heard back from him until this past Friday. The attorney assigned to me was ***The only person that is accessible to you is the person in charge of collecting your payment. My case managers kept changing. I don't think they even know how to help me. There are no defined processes for escalation besides "I will look into this."Marble has no oversight on lawyers they "co-counsel" with. This means they find an attorney near you whom they have a weak relationship with and outsource you to him, despite informing you that you will have a case manager and a paralegal, in addition to your attorney assigned to your case giving you the illusion that they are very organized and have the resources to help you. Yet, when you say you cant reach your attorney, their attempts are as weak as yours.Despite my multiple and repeated attempts to reach the attorney, no one at Marble was concerned. I also could not get anyone to pick up the phone at Marble Law. I kid you not there were times when the call did not go to any voicemail. As a last resort, I had to schedule multiple requests online for a new consultation to get someone to call me back. That was the only way to get through to a live person. This felt like a scam. Not once have my concerns been validated but instead, I was provided with "I am going to look into this" only to not hear back from anyone
I contact Marble in 2021 since I live in ** and my case was originally done in GA, I was told this may be a good option
I contact Marble in 2021 since I live in *** and my case was originally done in GA, I was told this may be a good option. After speaking to what I now know was a sales rep. ( who I can no longer contact) I had a consult with an attorney in GA who referred me to an attorney in GA. Between the sales *** rep and consulting attorney I was assured that I could obtain legal representation from a solid educated reputable experienced lawyer for a modification case.I was super transparent about the history of violence and what I would need & that the case could get ugly. Now I am being told that the contact and money paid was only for "limited work" which mean that the 3rd lawyer in my case only had to file and not see me thorugh the case with out more money, but not explained the do*** files or answer my questions. No one will tell me how much more money or why, when I was told I was covered & the opposing partly is now mocking me! I was never explained that my attorney could constantly change and that Id me made to look a fool or appear unorganized. I did mention that I could file on my own but why I wanted representation MANY TIMES! I have been given the run around by 3 attorneys and over 8 people employed by Marble all who make false promises or reassurances and then go months or weeks with no contact or action done on my case for various reasons some valid! They are unable to answer my questions by phone, in detail or within a timely manor & clearly. All 3 of the lawyers assigned to my case are confused, unfocused, over worked and dismissive!*** is newer I get it, but should be ashamed in how I have been treated & forgotten about! I hired them for assistance and they made it way worse! I want an apology, a refund and for my contract to be voided for all the lies, stress and time waisted please and ASAP! I can send all my emails if need be.

I have been paying my fees to process a divorce with no progress. Taking my money for my attorney fees but nothing and keep giving me the run around this is unexpectable
This business is only trying to get more money. I see the other Complaintsboard.com reviews now and am experiencing the same things. I now have a debt for the attorney fees with *** the third party lender, and I desire to get that rescinded and no longer wish to do business with them.

On April 8th, 2022 I contracted Marble Law to establish paternity for my daughter. I signed the contract for *** dollars and paid a down payment of 430 dollars to begin services. I have since paid *** dollars every month. During the completing of paperwork, I asked to speak to the attorney several times and was told several times that I'd be able to talk to the attorney once a response is received by the opposing party in the case. Throughout the entire case I was only in contact with a paralegal, no guidance from an attorney at all. After the initial paperwork was served, I finally spoke with the attorney. Why would I speak to an attorney AFTER the paperwork is served. The attorney told me that she was going to transfer me to a new attorney "closer to me" in SF. I then got a call from a Marble law representative quoting me approximately an additional *** dollars to continue services. I let them know that everything required to establish paternity was not complete as was stated in the contract. After much back and forth, the representative told me that they would not continue with services until I paid more money. The representative was uncooperative and refused to resolve the dispute. I was forced to file responses on my own. I then realized that the attorney and paralegal botched the initial submission of documents required. The parenting plan I proposed was not served to the opposing party. So the opposing party began asking me for it. In addition, the paralegal had me complete a "short form" financial affidavit even though my income was greater than *** dollars and in reality I needed to fill out a long form affidavit . The opposing party again had to ask me to submit the correct paperwork. I had to correct both of those mistakes on my own. I paid for a legal service to avoid these issues and to ensure I received the correct guidance as required by law. Refund.

September . So far I've paid about 6 thousand dollars but Im expected to pay 13 thousand. I hired marble law on September to help me with a divorce child custody case on the terms that I would be able to put down a down payment and make monthly payments. So far I have been a year and litigation have had one lawyer set up Scopes and then quit without completing her said scopes and another lawyer who set up limited scopes and doesn't want to do the other Scopes from the previous lawyer. I've gotten nowhere in my family custody case and get nothing but attitude back or silence back and cannot get a hold of anyone from management or any sort of customer service. When I bring up that I felt things have not been met they tell me that I need to set up a new scope and then I will need to pay more money I feel like I am in a trap where they just keep collecting money from me without actually doing anything beneficial to my cause or my needs. I've been trying to reach out for months to speak to managers customer service and have gotten nothing back except people asking me when payments are due. I have done more on my own outside of what they have done while paying them thousands of dollars in the past year. There is no accountability and to be honest I feel like they are overcharging me for services they are not providing.
I called Marble law August this year. I explained to them that I want to do a child support modification. I asked them for the cost. I explained that I did not want to be billed by the hour, I just want to know what it will cost to have the modification. They told me it will cost *** dollars. Based on that information, I agreed to have them take care of the modification for me. I did not have a good communication between the firm and myself. I was assigned a case manager, and when they changed the case manager I was not told. I was shocked to get an email from the lawyer who they assigned the job to telling me that the representation i contracted for was over, if I wanted more work done, I will have to pay more. I was deeply pained and in tears. They filed the procedure in court, I paid a private server to serve the process because I felt the court process would be slow. That was all that was done. As I write, the child support is not done. I had to contact another lawyer to take up the case. Now I have to pay more. I called marble law and explained how sad I was . I told them they took advantage of me and the whole process appears lie a fraud. I told them to terminate the contract I have with them and stop collecting any money from me since the job was not done. The person I spoke to said they can only offer me 10 per cent discount. Please Complaintsboard.com help me resolve this case. I feel opposed right now, I feel taking advantage of. I told them to keep what they have collected and not bill my card anymore. In fact, I should have asked for a total refund as they did not do what I requested for. Please help me find a resolution with this firm.
On March 28th, I spoke with Marble Law regarding the necessity of legitimizing legal services, formulating a parenting plan, and establishing child support. They assured me they were equipped to manage my case and quoted a total cost of $3499.90, which I financed. My case was entrusted to a specific attorney, whose name I prefer to withhold. This attorney submitted my initial legitimation documents incorrectly. My attempts to communicate with her to address my questions and concerns were met with silence; she never responded. Furthermore, she did not inquire about my goals and attended court unprepared. After raising my concerns with Marble Law, I was informed that the attorney in question would no longer be handling my case and that they had fulfilled their 'scope of work.' At this juncture, we had only completed the initial 30-day conference, yet she had already made errors in the filing. Consequently, I was compelled to retain a new lawyer, incurring an additional expense of $4000 to correct the paperwork and finalize the case. Repeated attempts to contact Marble Law for a refund of the $1322 already withdrawn from my account have been met with assurances that a representative named, whose name I also prefer to withhold, would contact me, yet I have received no such communication.
I paid Marble Law for a case involving my son and ex, but faced poor service.
I made a payment to Marble Law to assist me with a case involving my son and former spouse. I was assigned two lawyers, whose lack of communication was evident. The court requested mediation with my son's father before the hearing. I completed forms for a remote mediation session but never received a link, leading me to suspect the respondent wasn't served. I informed my lawyer, who seemed unconcerned. On the hearing date, 11/12, my attorney appeared remotely while I was there in person. It turned out the respondent was served, contrary to my belief, so my case wasn't heard. I had taken time off work and prepared thoroughly for the hearing. During the hearing, my lawyer agreed to a new court date, 3/15/22, without consulting me. I immediately called my lawyer to explain I couldn't attend due to starting a new job. He promised to cancel the hearing and settle the case out of court, which never happened. I sought a full refund from Marble Law, detailing my lawyers' lack of assistance. Over three months, I was passed between three case managers. One case manager texted me on 2/18/22, claiming to be newly assigned to me, but didn't provide a last name. I expressed my desire for a refund, and he said he'd initiate a request for the solutions team to contact me. Nearly a month later, I've had no response.

I hired Marble Law because I am very new to court cases and I have never had to hire an attorney before
I hired Marble Law because I am very new to court cases and I have never had to hire an attorney before. I am going through a paternity and child custody/support case. They seemed like a good choice because they help you get an attorney and are supposed to help you through your case. They have failed at communication with me, the attorney they hired always forgot details about me and my case and always seemed to busy to discuss my case details. I was told when purchasing marble that they would help me start to finish for a total of ***. I looked at the enragement again to see that they only had the attorney helping me fill out necessary court documents and a time sharing / child support work sheet. Unfortunately now I have to hire another attorney to finish my case. This is extremely upsetting because this experience has been nothing but upsetting from the start and my attorney did not even help me fill out the paperwork, I did it all myself. He even submitted the legal paperwork on my behalf with many mistakes he should of caught, making me look bad to the other party. This court case is very important because it involves my children and a recent separation with their father. I feel I was taken advantage of and paid *** for the bare minimum and the company has failed to communicate with me. Unfortunately its not worth reaching out to my attorney because Ill just have to remind him who I am and remind him the details of my case once again, since he never seems to remember. Overall Id like the company to review the treatment Ive received and the fact they are altering my court case and effecting the outcome of it.Id like the mistakes to be fixed and Id like my case to be worked start to finished as promised when I spoke with the person who discussed the pricing and payment arrangements. I want a better attorney who will sit down with me and work my case correctly. I am very upset. For *** I expected this to go smoothly.

Please see my previous complaint that Complaintsboard.com closed against my consent, AND without any sort of resolution to this matter! Marble Law firm has done nothing to resolve this complaint. Marble Law Firm has stated they would reduce the amount they charged me in the complaint, and I was told to "email them for details" and I can not get any response from Marble Law firm. Marble Law firm has many complaints against them and the complaintsboard.com has not done anything about it. Complaintsboard.com is just accepting complaints and closing them out. According to the reviews there are dozens and dozens of complaints of consumers claiming they're being frauded ! I will not give Marble Law a single dime of my money! They are trying to charge me $*** when I literally only talk to those people for a matter of less than 3 weeks. The lawyer never represented me there was no court action taken it was basically calling for information and they did an intake request form. Now they're trying to charge me $*** for that? Complaintsboard.com you all need to do something about this place. They are obviously doing whatever they could do to slide under the radar. And my previous complaint they stated that they were going to reduce the amount after reviewing they decided that they would reduce the amount and they have not done that they have not even had any contact with me but on the complaint they're stating that they're going to do something but they have not so that's why I opened up another complaint. And I will continue to file complaints until this is resolved. I will not be paying marble Law firm a ***. I did not acquire $ *** in services nor have I been given a statement or shown on paper why they're charging me that much money. I am not paying these scammers any money. The complaintsboard.com needs to INVESTIGATE THIS SHADY LAW FIRM, and advocate for the consumer. I was this case closed, or I'm going to go up to another higher organization to reach a resolution.

On May 12th 2022 I retained the services of a company named "Marble Law" in Southern California
On May 12th 2022, I retained the services of a company named "Marble Law" located in Southern California. I hired them for a child support custody modification hearing and a separate custody and visitation hearing in response to a support order. I paid an initial down payment of $5741.00 on May 12th 2022 and a monthly payment of $41.66 on June 16th 2022. After the initial payment, a case manager informed me that I would receive a call from my designated lawyer within 3 business days. Over 2 months have passed, and I have not spoken to any lawyer. Initially, a paralegal completed a Petitioners Declaration in support of RFO and four forms, which were supposedly e-filed on 5/16/22. However, after repeated unsuccessful attempts to contact my case manager and lawyer and taking time off work to investigate, I discovered that only the income declaration was e-filed, and it was filed incorrectly under the Superior Court of Los Angeles instead of Santa Clara County. Additionally, they incorrectly used my child support case number for both the child support and custody/visitation cases, which should be separate. This has jeopardized the timing and outcome of my cases. I learned that my lawyer is not based in my area, and after being misled and unrepresented, I am seeking a full refund.

I first contacted Marble in January for a custody issue I was going through
I first contacted Marble in January for a custody issue I was going through. At that time I was assigned an attorney and a case manager. From the start, I had non-stop issues with getting responses from my attorney as well as the case manager. They were always slow in responding to my emails and phone calls, and it took days as well as weeks to hear back from anybody. Anytime I reached out to them, I always got the same response like, Im so sorry, and will get an answer for you shortly. That shortly always turned into another week or another few weeks. It was extremely frustrating to deal with anyone from Marble, including my own attorney. Anytime I submitted something to my attorney or I had a court case coming up, everything took double or triple the amount of time. Any time I had a court hearing it always got a continuance because my attorney was never prepared so it pushed my case out further and further. I needed legal counsel because I had one isolated medical incident that my ex used against me in order to gain custody of my two children, so this was a sensitive case that I need help resolving. Its been pushed out to *** contact with at Marble to find out what has been going on with my case, and why it has been taking so long because it is completely unnecessary. 21 months for this is insane! Since I retained my attorney, I have been through five case managers and several other staff because theres such a huge turnover rate at Marble! These people are the biggest scammers I have ever encountered, and very unethical! Theyre also not a law firm! Theyre an advertising network firm that connects you to lawyers, so thats misleading, so I made sure to let the state of CA know! They dropped me today because I requested a new lawyer because mine was ignoring me, and I just had my last 2 scopes pro ***, so they disengaged with me!

I believe this business is a scam
I believe this business is a scam. I have tried to contact this business regarding my paid legal services to no avail and have not received any help in resolution but this "law firm" continues to take money from my bank account and not providing legal services paid for. All phone numbers lead nowhere and emails remain unanswered from so called staff. What was ordered: *** services/needs in form of getting me a hearing date with a judge to sign off on and finalize my divorce from a legal separation that took place back in March when all initial forms were set and filed. My husband sent the signed documents I requested back to Marble law and did not receive any response back from the team or the lawyer/paralegal. They won't answer any calls, return any calls or voicemails and won't respond to any emails. When did you expect the service/merchandise to be delivered? I expected the request to be submitted with the court in April 2022 with the documents I prepared myself and am self represented, I just needed them to submit them to the court immediately. I was sold on a service from Marble Law that was essentially misrepresented by representatives of the company and since then I haven't received
I was sold on a service from Marble Law that was essentially misrepresented by representatives of the company and since then I haven't received the services originally outlined to me but I have been charged for them via a loan. The organization appears, from my own personal experience, to employ deceptive business practices and predatory sales tactics. I was given the impression and told via phone that they'd essentially be my legal counsel for a simple Family Law case. After the initial consultation, in which I was provided legal advice and strategy by a Marble representative, I was walked through the process of how things should go, and then I signed up for a loan via their recommended vendor Wisetack for $2,201. After they received payment, the correspondence was almost non-existent from that point forward and the only action that was taken on my case was the filing of the Answer and Counterpetition, which I had filled out myself. I signed the "Agreement" on 06/07/22 and the other two parties in the agreement (The Counsel and Marble Representative) didn't sign the agreement until 41 days later (earlier today), just a few hours prior to sending me an email to clarify that their services are "intended for general informational purposes only and that it does not constitute legal advice and is no substitute for consulting a licensed attorney." However this is not what was outlined or sold to me prior to our agreement and I was informed otherwise by representatives of their organization, which is why I specifically chose them over a local firm or self-representation in the first place. In essence, I currently represent myself but have been charged and billed as though Marble Law is my representing counsel when according to the terms of the agreement they sent me, that is not the case. I now have $2,201 in debt and have the added burden of seeking outside independent counsel to review the agreement and the deceptive marketing practices so that I can be refunded.

Date of transactions/Timeline below:August 2022- (mid August) I contacted marble law firm and asked for a consultation for my divorce
Date of transactions/Timeline below:August 2022- (mid August) I contacted marble law firm and asked for a consultation for my divorce proceedings and they told me it would be $50 to have a consultation. So I did pay the $50. On August 19th after the consultation and they made it sound so great and affordable, I signed a agreement. On August 26th I completed what they called an intake form. On September the 10th I got a strange email from a third party loan company called wise tac, prompting me to agree to a $3,000 loan and if I ignore the email they would take it that I declined the loan. So I ignored the email I never agreed to any third party loan. The total amount they told me they were charging me for my divorce was like $5,500. They told me they would finance me *** for the attorney fees. On September 14th I felt really rushed through this whole process and I changed my mind I decided not to use marble law I felt like I was being scammed and rushed. I changed my mind and I didn't like the way that marble law was treating me. On September 19th they sent an "updated"agreement. On September 22nd 2022 I sent a formal written request to my case manager, ***, to close my case. That same day I contacted marble law payment center and told them to close the payment agreement that I would not be making payments because my case is getting closed, and they responded they would close the payments and nothing would be charged. I chose not to use their services. On September 26th my case manager said she received my request and forward to appropriate person. On 9/29/22, I received notice from Marble law that my case was officially terminated. Then, on 10/24,they charged my credit card $119.50. I immediately request refund and have not heard back! They also put me into a 3rd party loan I never applied for! They offer a money back guarantee,And won't refund me. From 8/19 to 9/29, they said I owed $3,300 for their work completed, which was a few phone calls and an intake

I had my first legal strategy appointment on 4/20 at 2:00pm and I spoke with an attorney regarding a custody agreement
I had my first legal strategy appointment on 4/20 at 2:00pm and I spoke with an attorney regarding changing a custody agreement. She was very nice and provided a lot of information about my case, and I agreed with her proposed submissions to the court. I inquired if she would represent me if I signed with Marble Law, and she affirmed. On 4/22, I signed the agreement for them to take my case, paid my down payment, and arranged monthly payments. However, after my payment, I was informed that she would not be representing me. I expressed my reluctance to proceed without her. A representative promised to clarify this and later confirmed that she was willing to take my case, asking for patience while the paperwork was finalized. After not hearing back, I called on 4/25 without a response. On 4/26, I received an email expressing regret that I chose not to proceed. I reached out for clarification, having paid and signed the necessary documents, only to be told they could not take my case due to capacity issues. This was confusing as I had already paid a down payment and signed a contract after a thorough consultation. I feel misled and am now seeking legal assistance. I found similar complaints on Complaintsboard.com, which is disheartening after months of searching for an attorney. My mother even offered to make the down payment on 5/6, but it seems that was just a tactic to secure payment. Although a refund was promised, I urgently need legal representation.

I hired this law firm on October 25th represent me in a timesharing agreement with my daughter's father
I hired this law firm on October 25th represent me in a timesharing agreement with my daughter's father. There's going to be $1600 in payment plans over the next 2 years for a 30 minute court hearing. Instead of the lawyer telling the judge the truth that she was only hired temporarily for that hearing she made it seem like she was going to represent me throughout the entirety of this matter. My husband's lawyer and myself had already come to a plan of time sharing which we agreed upon however the lawyer for marble Way disagreed which prompted the judge to reschedule the hearing for 2 days later he asked her if she would appear she told him yes. Then looked at me and said that I would have to reach out to marble Way adjust my payment plan and that she would not be the lawyer that would be there to represent me that I would end up with someone different. I'm not sure why she did not tell the judge the truth when I got home I called marble way to explain what had happened at court and asked why she did not inform the judge of what the real situation was is that the attorney was hired for that day only. And that I was going to need for the representation they were very apologetic at first I had reached out to their financial department multiple times to never get a call back to this day when the case manager called me back after I made the complaint she said that they were no longer going to be able to represent me however prior to me making the complaint they were going to represent me in 2 days when I asked why she said that she could not tell me why they would not keep me as a client. I feel like this company is taking advantage of people then just not answering calls I've tried to reach out on multiple platforms and I've gotten nowhere. The attorney that represented me cost me $1,600 only to have to go right back to court for exactly what I hired her to do that day all over again I feel like that was done intentionally so that I would have to retain someone again

I hired Marble Law Firm for a case in a specific county regarding my daughter
I hired Marble Law Firm to help me out with a case in a specific county concerning my daughter. An attorney was assigned to be my representative and handle my case. He has not been returning my calls or texts for over a month, and when I contact the law firm, I get the runaround and their version of passing the buck. The only part of the firm that contacts me is the billing department. My total cost of the case was initially quoted, I've paid a substantial amount, and I haven't seen any progress in my case. I can never get ahold of my case manager, who seems to constantly change. My daughter has been in a care situation for a year and a half, and I have not been allowed to see her, even through paid supervised visitation. I hired this firm to help take stress off of me due to health issues, but they only seem to have made things worse. What makes it worse is that I was slandered in open court by CPS, and my records were mistakenly read out in court as part of another case with the same name. After filing a complaint, all CPS did was send me an "apology letter" and leave it at that. I have not been able to get heard in court due to this situation. CPS claimed that I have 8 children, 4 of whom I deny, and that I allowed one of those 4 other children to be molested. I have only had 4 children and would never allow such a thing to happen. To me, by saying that I would even allow that sort of thing to happen is just as bad as calling me a monster or saying to everyone that I would condone such an awful act, which I certainly do not under any circumstances. All I want is for my case to be heard in court and my child to be returned. If something isn't done, I will be forced to fire my so-called representation and proceed on my own. If they wish to delay further, they can get in line. Do what you're hired for and keep in contact with your clients regularly, sick or not.
