Marble Law review: Divorce

I contact marble law because I needed representation during my divorce. During the initial contact they were engaged and attentive. They convicted me that their service was best, because they will only provide service to me that I actually needed. They told me their flat fee service had now surprises and I didn’t have to worry about surprises billable hours. I like the fact that ai wouldn’t be nickeled and dime for everything; but this is not an accurate statement. They convince me to take a lone to retain them and so I did. I also paid them with my credit card little of 3k. I paid a total of $9700. They file the petition for the divorce. I serviced my husband myself. They had very limited interaction with me. I wad not advised much. Most of the communication was legal jargon. I was confused and often resorted to google to research my options and find out what I should do or what was in my best interest. I complained about their lack of guidance and counsel and they didn’t like that much. Finally mediation was proposed and I agree. They wanted me to pay another 4600$. I told them no, they should move one of the service for the settlement negotiations. I paid approximately 4300 for temporary order, which I did not requested. My attorney was told several times that I didn’t want to file that. They agreed to cancel that service and move money to settlement negotiations. They did not. They told me that I will be charged for completed services. They lied. They charge you weather or not they complete the services. They gave me the run around. They told me my case will be escalated. I eventually no longer trust of felt comfortable with them. I expressed I mo longer wanted to use their service. They quickly terminate me & kept 7900$ of my money for nothing. They only file the petition for a divorce. People this petition you could file yourself for less than $300. They gave me a partial refund. They refused to provide an itemized statement. My attorney told them he didnt file the temporary order, but he however used the wording in the petition on page 5. They took that and ran stating that was the filing. It wasn't and even if it was, I have written communication to & from the attorney where I expressed do not file it. I also have communication where they completed documents for me to sign to remove that service because it was not used and move it to settlement negotiations. All of a sudden, they found reason to bill me. I have tried several times to escalate. But they eventually will ghost you. I would like a refund of everything except for the filing of the petition. This company is grossly negligent and they pry on the vulnerable and the desperate. They will walk over you & take your money without a care for your situation. Your just a number Period. Find an attorney. Their unethical practices and disregard for client well-being are evident in their actions, prioritizing profit over justice. I urge others to seek legal representation elsewhere, as Marble Law's behavior is a disservice to those in need of genuine support during difficult times. It is clear that their motives are driven by greed rather than the pursuit of justice, making them unworthy of trust or respect in the legal profession.
