These guys ain't honest, but they're all about the money. I had trouble with my 2020 Ford Explorer I got in Florida. Ford took it back and I found a replacement at Mark McLarty Ford. I asked them to hold the car and wait for Ford Motor to do the deal. They kept missing each other's calls. I even offered to leave a deposit, but they said it wasn't necessary. Instead of waiting a few days, they got greedy and sold the car. Not professional at all and not honest. I suggest you don't do business with them. Money was more important than being truthful, but that's how the car biz is.

It was going good at first, but the whole registration thing took forever. They sent us the wrong tax check, but they fixed it and gave us a new temporary tag. It took almost a month! When we finally got the right check, we had to pay almost $1000 more because it wasn't the right amount. We told them about it, but they still haven't fixed it. They said they'd send us another set of keys and a missing center cap, but it's been 2 months and we still haven't gotten them. We spent over $50k and got a warranty, but it feels like we're dealing with some shady used car lot. Not happy with this at all and won't be going back.
Bad customer service
Bad customer service. Got a new Ford ecosport 2019 with 27 miles on it, and a week after getting it the transmission started to act up. Took it in and was told there was no problem after them keeping it for about a week. Then took a road trip in it and the transmission acted up again only worse. Took it in again and this time was told that the transmission had to be replaced. That was a month ago. On top of all that, while in the loaner for a month somehow it got a finger tip size little scratch that honestly could have been there before we got it. And a small chip in the windshield that was the size of the tip of a pen, and easily repairable for both problems. Well they claimed the damage as a wreck on our insurance and now are telling me I have to pay the 500 dollar deductible before I can get my car back. My insurance has not even looked at the loaner yet and they are holding my vehicle hostage. Tried to talk to the service manager and was blown off. The receptionist was very rude in all conversation. She demanded we pay the 500 before our insurance takes a look at the loaner. Was also told that they were required to put a new windshield in because of the chip, not a crack due to it being a new car. It would take less than 500 to fix the small damage, and they want to jack up the price just because they are not making any money on my repair. In the end I strongly recommend EVERYONE STAY AWAY from here. They will screw you over and they have the worst customer service.

McLarty Ford is not a good place to buy a car. They are dishonest and try to trick you. If you don't know much about buying cars, go somewhere else. They say the price is one thing, but it's really $5,000 more. They lie and say they have a car, but then they don't. They won't even honor their own offers. They offered me a discount, but then they changed their minds and wanted to charge me more. I tried to talk to their bosses, but they wouldn't answer me. I wasted three days dealing with them and lost other offers. They are not good people and I might sue them. Don't go there.

I got a Ford truck from Mark McLarty Ford from another state. I paid taxes at the dealer on June 16, 2022, but I still haven't gotten my tag and registration. They don't answer my calls and won't help me get my truck tagged. I'm a *** and need a properly tagged vehicle to go to the hospital and emergencies. They're stopping me and my patients from being well by not helping me get my truck tagged. The best thing to do is to get a lawyer and file a lawsuit.

I bought a truck on 9/10 and they didn't tell me about the extra $4K for services. They wouldn't give me a new contract. I got a 2020 F150 on 9/10. Tammi *** didn't say anything about the extra $4K. She said the paperwork would be in the truck when I came back to pick it up after the guard rails were installed. I went back the next day to get the paperwork because my wife said it wasn't normal. When I got home, I saw that there was gap insurance and a service contract for $4K added to my contract. I went back on 9/14 and told Tammi *** I wanted it removed. After a lot of back and forth, she gave me paperwork to cancel it. I went back on 9/15 to talk about the bad experience, get proof the services would be removed, and talk about the bad finance rate. Steven Muawad was rude and defensive. When I asked to cancel the contract, he said he couldn't. I showed him where it said the dealer could cancel, but he said I had to talk to the GM Bob ***. Bob was in meetings and we waited to see him. After 20 mins, Becky *** took us to her office. She lied and said she would take our complaint to Bob. After 30 mins, she said our request was reasonable and would pass it on to Bob. She called my daughter to say she hadn't talked to Bob and would try again the next day. She called the next day and said the contract wouldn't be cancelled. When I asked about a corrected contract to avoid paying sales tax, she said there wouldn't be any other paperwork. She said without the rebates, the truck would still be $41K. After filing a complaint with the AR AG office, Tammi *** lied and said my father refused their offer of a letter to avoid paying sales tax. This was never offered. Since paying off the truck, the finance company refunded me $4K. So I overpaid on sales tax because Tammi *** cheated an old man. She talked a lot and I signed everything on a little black box. She said they would give me the paperwork when I got the truck, but now she's lying and saying I refused it. They owe me the money I paid for sales tax on the gap insurance and service contract that I didn't want.
