We bought a car from Mclarty Nissan. We had some trouble agreeing on the price. Then, the finance manager came and took me to his office. He said he managed to lower my payment by $20. When we were in his office, he asked me to sign for a 60,000 warranty. I told him I couldn't afford it. He said not to worry because he "hooked me up". We went to school together, so I didn't question him. He didn't explain anything, and suddenly we received paperwork in the mail with a $4000 warranty added to it.

Recently, I brought it back to have a recall on the transmission and to replace a seat back that was finally ordered in July. However, while they were replacing the cover, they accidentally damaged a pressure sensor, which caused the airbag light to turn on. Unfortunately, the necessary part is not available, and they told me it will be December 13th, 2022, at the earliest, plus shipping time. There are no guarantees though.
I reached out to *** for assistance, but all they did was have the dealership call me. The service manager, ***, informed me about the expected date. I also spoke to ***, who was supposed to have a meeting yesterday and call me back. However, I didn't hear from him, so I asked him to email me for documentation purposes. According to ***'s explanation, the part that is not available is related to the secondary restraint system. He suggested that I could pick up the truck, but I insisted that they sign a document stating that they would assume all liability if I were to have an accident with a passenger in the front seat. Unfortunately, he refused to do that.
I'm at a loss for what to do next. It's frustrating to be without my truck for such long periods of time. They did provide me with a loaner, but it doesn't have any tags, and I can't keep relying on it indefinitely. Sometimes, I wish they would just pay off the loan and keep the truck.
